Need Drill down in Customer Open Item Analysis by Balance of Overdue Items
In SAP there is one standard report by the name of
'Customer Open Item Analysis by Balance of Overdue Items'
Can I change the report according to my need.. I want to add drill down and customer name to this report. I am using summarisation 6 as my criteria.

You may not get as ggod as report but u check ,there are some lay out. one lay out name is dunning data.

I would like to modify the 'Dynamic selections' (Shift + F4) list on the selection screen. Where are the selections coming from? How to change the list? I should add one selection more to 'Documents'-selections.
I have debugged these programs quite a lot, but it seems to be very difficult to find the correct place. There are lots of source code to be debugged. I just thought that 'Dynamic Selections' is a standard way to handle extra selections and someone could know, a little bit more specific, from where to look for.

Report S_ALR_87012178 - customer open item analysis by balance of overdue

In report S_ALR_87012178 (program RFDOPR10), when we choose in the selection field screen :
OI sorted list sorting (1,2) = 1
Summarization level (0-6) = 6
OI list summarization (0-2) = 1
The value that we have under the «Sort field» column is the search term of the customer master data.
Do you know if it's possible to have the customer name instead of the search term without any modification to the SAP standard program?

In the Search help ID enter Q - Reference Type and enter the customer name or number. If not Q try other options.

Drill down in custom draft report
I am creating a custom report for just draft Inventory Transfer.
SELECT 'Transfer' AS 'Document Type', T0.[DocNum] AS 'Document Number', T0.[DocDate] AS 'Ship Date'

WHERE T0.[ObjType] = 67 AND T0.[DocDate] <= CAST(FLOOR( CAST( GETDATE() AS FLOAT ) ) AS DATETIME)
I create a draft Inventory Transfer with todays date as the posting date and document date. The report shows the Invnetory Transfer but I do not have a drill down arrow next to the document number. This report is essentially the same as the Document Draft Report for Inventory Transfers only.
If I open the draft document report, there is a drill down arrow for the document.
1. Inventory --> Inventory Reports --> Document Drafts Report
2. Select Inventory Transfer as the selection criteria
3. Click OK
The document number has the drill down arrow.
Why: I am trying to create an alert for all transfers that are to be shipped today. I am looking to have the inventory manager create Inventory Transfer drafts, then the warehouse will have an alert show all inventory transfers that are to be sent out. I want to be able to have the warehouse drill down to each inventory transfer and add it to the system when the transfer is shipped.Hi,

You have to include Docentry to drill down. DocNum is not an index of the table.

Drill Down and customer Exit variable
Hello together and A Happy New Year!
Please help me with the following topic:
I have a query with 4 selections(fields) in the columns.
In the first selection (F1) I have resctricion to Posting Period via Period to (a user entry variable).
In F2 I have restriction to Posting Period via Period to cust (customer exit based on value of V1 - introduced by the user)
In F3 I have restriction to PP via Period from, Period to (between: user entry variables)
In F4 restriction to PP fia Period from cust, Period to cust (between: customer exit variables)
In the query, if I select in the selection screen Period from 1 and Period to 3, for example, when I make the drill down, only 3 (Period to) is displayed instead of 1, 2 and 3.
If in the query designer I remove from the columns F1 and F2, then the drill down is working properly (having intervals in the other fields: F3 and F4).
Do you have any idea why drill down is not working properly with all 4 fields in the columns?

What do you mean by drill down reports in Oracle Apps. Do you mean using Reports Developer. It cant be done, that is why the need of Discoverer reports. Discoverer reports can be run ( viewer ) from applications but generally associated with a separate responsibility. You can drill down from there.. -
Drill down report for due date analysis for customer open items
Hi, in transaction FDI0 i am using report 0SAPDUEAN-01 Due Date Analysis for Open Items .The reason i am using this is that s_alr_87012178 caters for only 6 intervals. With this report , i get 8 intervals:

I face a need I don't manage to fit with the query designer. It sounds easy, but I didn't find solution after few trials.
The target report has to look like that :

All the replies have been correct & all you need to do is a combination of a few. A step-by-step approach for your report, I'll explain in detail, and please correct me if I'm wrong.

So, the above is the first set of details you need to make. Follow up by using offsets for 1 variable followed up till the 12th month. Create a variable for 0CALMONTH (Cal Yr-Month) in a selection. Follow up by copying this variable 12 times, changing the offset of the input varaible to +1, +2, etc..
Now for the next set as below, there are 2 approaches.

1. If you are using i/p variable as Cal-Month, then its best you can approach to find the differences by making a selection for the same variable in a range like New Var (EnterMonth -12 : Enter Month -23 ). Same fashion, approach to calculate (EnterMonth - 24 : EnterMonth-35) etc. But limitations are there for this approach, as you need to select ranges & with each year you need to update the query.
2. Use CELL Editor: At the top of the icon tray, you can notice a 'cell' symbol, wherein you can find the cell editor. Under the 2009, 2008, 2007 headings you can choose to create a selection with following restrictions: 0CALYEAR (Cal Year) as varaible. But the only thing here is the input variable for this query must be 2 seperate variables > One CALYEAR & another CALMONTH. So this is another approach, where user will have option to enter cal month & cal year seperately in 2 different text input boxes.
3. Perform the calculation for 2010. Copy the same for 2009,2008,2007 etc with offsets. You can try hiding the rest of the month feilds, after calculating the total for all months of the years in 2009,2008 etc using offsets. Although it sounds crazy idea, but sometimes if customers require such an output we need to do something crazy though. I hope it might work, but as stated its the last option if nothing works out. -
A/R report u0096 Customer open items based on due date
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if there is a standard report on AR side that gives me invoices due between certain dates, meaning I should be able to select due dates between 11/15/2006 and 11/30/2006 in the selection and the report should get me the customers with invoices that are due between the above dates for a company code.

there is no standard report which give you selection citeria to select range of due date. Since due date is calculated based on function module where it calculate Bline date+ terms of payment days.

SankuratriWhen you post the partial payment, the system marks the document number of the original open item in the line item for the partial payment. The original open item and the partial payment remain open.
The system stores the document number, fiscal year and number of the invoice item in the partial payment. <b>You can find this information in the 'Payment for' field.</b> Thus you can refer to the original open item from the partial payment. When you post the remaining amount for the invoice, both the partial payment and the invoice are cleared.
This is per documentation for <a href="http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/01/a9bb94455711d182b40000e829fbfe/content.htm">partial payments</a> , you may want to test it out. Hope a similar feature is available for credit memos. -

Removing Drill Down is not summing up the values for key figure

While analysing the data in BW report , I have encounter the problem in getting the correct data.
BW report is showing two records for material , having different customer ie. customer1 & customer 2 .
If i remove the customer from the Drill down , then values is not summed up , rather it is showing the values only for customer1
Scenario:
With customer drill Down:
Material Customer Key Figure1 Key Figure 2
Mat1 Customer1 1000 2000
MAt1 Customer2 3000 4000
Without customer Drill Down
Material Key figure1 Key Figure2
Mat1 3000 4000
In the query designer there is restriction of customer on two characteristic in default value pane.
The issue is happening for particular material , for other material , BW report is working fine.
Please suggest , to resolve the issue.

What properties are set on your key figures 1 & 2. Could they be set to Min or Max.
There may be an aggregation level set if they are calculated key figures that is worth checking.

Hello all,
I am sure this can be done in BW but I just dont know how we can do it.
My client requirement is when we run a report on the cube we see all the totals for commitement item (we have cmmt item hierarchy that we are using) and then we are at a particular cmmt item for eg Office supplies the total being $1000 they want to double click on the cmmt item (drill down) to see all the transaction for that particular cmmt item.
How can this be achieved ? Can we use RRI for this?

When I am done with rsbbs. And I open the summary report in Bex Analyzer now I want to see detailed transactions for a particular cmmt item. Do I have to double click on it or Do i have to right mouse click and say Go to -> Detailed report?
I tried both the things, when I double click it says no applicable data available. and when i do go to-> detailed report it takes me to the report but it shows me everything rather than only transaction for that particular cmmt item. How do we make that happen so that it should know I want to see data only for the cmmt item i click on?
