I recently bought Sony Ericsson Cedar. However, I am unable to delete contacts from contacts-look up while sending a message. can anyone kindly let me know how to delete contacts from contacts look-up section?

There are two possibilities here: 1) These numbers are either stored in your SIM contact list, because you had the Autosave to SIM switched on in your Contact settings, or 2) These numbers are actually saved in the phone memory, although you will not find them in your Contacts phone list because they are temporary files: What you need to do is to actually save these numbers first (when they appear in stand-by when you enter a similar number) and then delete them.Hope this helps.

You can't access an Exchange account via ActiveSync with the Address Book and iCal on your Mac.
You can access a MM account with Outlook on your PC at work and keep your MM email account server stored mailboxes synced between your PC at work, your iPhone, and the MM "cloud". Not sure about syncing MM contact info and calendar events with Outlook at the same time with an Exchange account.
This will not provide for syncing your Exchange account contact info and calendar events with the Addresss Book and iCal on your Mac because the accounts are separate.
You can access an Exchange account and a MM account at the same time with the iPhone's mail client, and sync contact info and calendar events over the air with both accounts at the same time. You can view combined contact info or separately for each account, and the same for calendar events.

hi.. need help in transfering my created contact from my windows pc outlook to my iphone 3g without lossing my contacts in my iphone..... because i tried creating one contact using my outlook in my windows pc and sync it to my iphone using itunes but it erases my contacts in my iphone replacing only one contact that i created in my outlook good thing i have a back up so pls help me on this... thanks

You should see a dialog box prompting you to choose Merge or Replace. You need to choose Merge to preserve your contacts.

Need help with PHP contact form

Hi guys,
I've made a PHP contact form for my site and need help with a couple of things:
The form action links an external PHP script (scripts/contact-form-script.php) but is there a way I can have it so the PHP script for the form is contained within the same PHP file as my contact form (contact.php)?
I tried just putting the form code at the top of contact.php but the browser automatically reads the anti-spam re-direct, so maybe that needs revising too?
The second thing is, how can I make the Name, Email and Message fields mandatory? So if a user tries to submit the form and hasn't filled in one of the required fields and clicks submit, contact.php reloads with a message at the top of the form saying something like 'Complete the required fields' and highlights the relevant field with a red border?

I Need Help Importing my Contacts Onto my New (old) Palm phone.

I need to import my contacts onto my Palm Centro. As of now, they are in a .csv file. When I select import from the Palm Desktop file menu and browse for my contact file, it shows the file grayed out. Even if I instruct the program to allow all file types, it doesn't work. I've read that the Centro needs a .aba file- but I can't find a converter that works.
I'm on a Mac but it has OSX and Windows 7, so I can use any program/service that you guys can suggest. Even if you don't know a program that can do what I need, I also want to know definitively what file format my Palm Centro wants these contacts.
I know this is an old phone, but there must be a way to do this (and avoid typing in 400+ contacts).

If first colum (t-zuonr) (sort key for the document )is blank, the document need to be deleted.
Question:
How can I write the code to deleted the t-zuonr when it is space?

I'm trying to delete Contacts using "ContactWS_ContactDelete_Input" web service. Even though a valid contactId is passed, getting an error "<siebelf:errormsg>No rows retrieved corresponding to the business component 'Contact'(SBL-EAI-04378)</siebelf:errormsg>

By any chance is the Private Flag set for this particular contact?
This is the same issue I found trying to update activities. If the private flag was set, I could not update it via the Web Service or see it in the UI .. however, I could see it in a report !!

Accident email account delete- need help restore all contacts

Help, this morning I accidentially deleted my email account in yahoo, and now ALL my contacts are gone....how do I restore the contacts. I don't have mobile me set up yet.

Were you provided an option to transfer the backup from your Touch to your iPhone that you accepted?
Which supported application on your computer are you syncing contact info with?
With Vista, this can be with Outlook 2003 or 2007, or with the address book used by Windows Mail with Vista - which is the name change for Outlook Express with Vista. The address book is called Windows Contacts I believe and the sync option for contact info is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences.

HT1766 emergency help needed to recover deleted contacts from Iphone

Here is the situtation that occured that resulted in deleting all the 500+ contacts in my iphone
A couple of days ago, I went to the mobile phone store and bought an iphone 4s upgrade package. I have been using an iphone 3s for the late couple of years.
recently I upgraded the software of the old iphone and received the icloud software and backed up all the data to the cloud.
Now during the upgrade to the iphone 4s the shop assistant set up the new phone and transfered the sim etc to the new phone, I was unaware that the new iphone was now a clone of my old iphone with all my old data and a live sync to the icloud and itunes etc.
When I got home I decided that I would give the new phone to my wife, so I proceeded to delete all the data off the new phone, this involved manually deleting all 500+ contacts in the address book, bar a few close friends that my wife knows, to safe her reentering the data.
What I did not know was that the phone was syncing to the icloud/itunes everytime i hit delete and deleted a contact from the icloud and also from my old iphone that I am still using, so now I have 2 x iphones with no contact data.
I have lost 15years of accumulated business and personal contact info, 75% of which I have no way of recovering from other sources.
My obvious questions is, is there any way of restoring my iphone's contact data from an earlier version of the the auto sync backup ie from 2 days ago ie the 18th June 2012 and not the sync'd backup from today or this evening?
OR is my life lost for ever?
can anyone help?

Unless you backed up somewhere else before deleting the contacts and not since, i.e. iTunes on your computer, sorry but no. The backups are overwritten each time there is changed data - old backups on iCloud aren't saved.
There is no way to restore any data deleted from an iOS device if it isn't in an available backup.

Need help backing up contacts from deleted exchange email address.

I had a microsoft exchange email that has been deleted. All contacts have been lost however they are still on my ipad as I have not changed any settings. Bc they are apart of exchange server they wont save to cloud. Any ideas how I can save them and re populate my iphone, icloud or macbook air? At this point manually transferring over 3k contacts would take forever.

Need help in deleting multiple tables

In one of my scenario i want to delete One record from the table, but there are some child and sub child exist for the table. And the on delete cascade is not set fro any of the table.
Structure of my table,

i want to delete the record from Table-1 and all the related record of Table-2 and Table-3 in a single query.

What has just came to my mind at first sight is that you can create a trigger for your approach. I don't think that a single query will delete some rows from more than one table.
Please go to the http://tahiti.oracle.com , select your database version and search for the after trigger. Hint: You may need to use the FOR EACH ROW clause and you again may need to use :old :new parameters in the trigger to have the information of what has just been deleted from the relevant table.

4.24 Create Trigger
The following information applies to a trigger, which is which is a stored PL/SQL block associated with a table, a schema, or the database, or an anonymous PL/SQL block or a call to a procedure implemented in PL/SQL or Java. The trigger is automatically executed when the specified conditions occur.
Schema: Database schema in which to create the trigger.
Name: Name of the trigger. Must be unique within the database.
Add New Source in Lowercase: If this option is checked, new text is entered in lowercase regardless of the case in which you type it. This option affects only the appearance of the code, because PL/SQL is not case sensitive in its execution.
Trigger tab
Trigger Type: The type of object on which to create the trigger: TABLE, VIEW, SCHEMA, or DATABASE. (The remaining items depend on the type of trigger.)
Table Owner or View Owner: For a trigger on a table or a view, the name of the owner of the table or the view.
Table Name or View Name : For a trigger on a table or a view, the name of the table or the view.
Before or After: For a trigger on a table, select Before to cause the database to fire the trigger before executing the triggering event, or select After to cause the database to fire the trigger after executing the triggering event.
Statement Level or Row Level: For a trigger on a table, Statement Level fires the trigger once before or after the triggering statement that meets the optional trigger constraint defined in the WHEN condition; Row Level fires the trigger once for each row that is affected by the triggering statement and that meets the optional trigger constraint defined in the WHEN condition.
Insert, Update, Delete: For a trigger on a table or a view, Insert fires the trigger whenever an INSERT statement adds a row to a table or adds an element to a nested table; Update fires fire the trigger whenever an UPDATE statement changes a value in one of the columns specified in Selected Columns (or in any column if no columns are specified); Delete fires the trigger whenever a DELETE statement removes a row from the table or removes an element from a nested table.
Referencing - Old: For a trigger on a table, the correlation names in the PL/SQL block and WHEN condition of a row trigger to refer specifically to old value of the current row.
Referencing - New: For a trigger on a table, the correlation names in the PL/SQL block and WHEN condition of a row trigger to refer specifically to new value of the current row.
Available Columns: For a trigger on a table, lists the columns from which you can select for use in an Update trigger definition.
Selected Columns: For a trigger on a table, lists the columns used in an Update trigger definition.
When: For a trigger on a table, an optional trigger condition, which is a SQL condition that must be satisfied for the database to fire the trigger. This condition must contain correlation names and cannot contain a query.
Schema: For a trigger on a schema, the name of the schema on which to create the trigger.
Available Events: For a trigger on a schema or database, lists events from which you can select for use in the trigger definition.
Selected Events: For a trigger on a schema or database, lists events used in the trigger definition.

Need help on deleting workflows

Hi experts,
I need to delete workflows that need to be retired. I am veryvery new to workflows. So, what is the Tcode to delete the entire workflow? also, what are the steps that need to be check upon deleting them? i need to delete their custom tables/function modules as well. Can I delete the workflow in one shot? or i need to delete task by task..? thanks in advance

Hi,
Prior to deleting a workflow first Delete/Cancel all the workitems of that workflow. It will help you to avoid unnecessary dump while executing those workitems. Its better to cancel the workitems if it is a productive system.
To delete workflow delete the following items in below mentioned order.
1. Workflow
2. Tasks
3. BO/Classes
