Need Help! Ipod disconnects immediately after I connect it.

When I plug my 80 GB Ipod classic into my Windows PC it will connect and then immediately eject my ipod. I have tried multiple ports and Ipod usb cords and it still has this problem can someone please help me solve this?

Have you tried to reset the ipod by pressing the menu and select buttons at the same time until the apple logo shows then connecting it?

Every time I plug my iPod into my computer it says "Connecting" then it says "Ejecting" and then "OK to disconnect"! WHY????? It does not show up in the sidebar in iTunes, and it does not show up in My Computer.

IPod is automatically disconnecting immediately after initially connecting

iPod Classic with 160GB memory
currently has about 105GB loaded
While it generally seems to be working well to play music etc, when I open iTunes on my computer and then try to connect the iPod to the computer so that I can add new music etc., it first goes through the normal process of synching but, as soon as that process is complete, it immediately starts the ejecting process all by itself. After the iPod indicates that it is has completed the ejecting process and that it is okay to disconnect, however, the iTunes on the computer still shows the iPod as connected and lists all of the songs, etc., but you cannot play any of them.
This happens on both my home computer and on my office laptop computer this morning. (Both are PC's and both have iTunes set to manually manage my music.)
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hmm. Well, since the problem happens on both computers, the problem more than likely lies with the iPod itself. The iPod's software may have become corrupt in some way and may need to be restore via iTunes. Keep in mind that restoring will erase all the music and files from your iPod so make sure they are backed up on at least one of your computers. However, that is not a guaranteed fix and I don't think you really feel like reloading all 105 GB of music on it.
Maybe try manually putting the iPod into Disk Mode while connected and see if that helps the iPod stay connected and mounted properly.

Other than that, I don't know of any other way to handle this situation and am out of ideas or potential solutions. Maybe try completely uninstalling iTunes and then re-installing. (There is a link right that the beginning of the document if you have Vista)

Need help. iPod disabled and unable to connect to iTunes for a restore???

Please Help!!! My iPod touch is giving me a red box error stating "iPod is Disabled" and telling me to connect to iTunes. I tried to connect to iTunes but am getting the error message "iTunes could not connect to iPod because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPod before it can be used with iTunes".
I am unable to enter the passcode because the iPod touch is disabled and will not let me.
Does anyone know what to do?

Connect in recovery mode and restore, you'll get the option to reset the passcode during this process:

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.

I need help in setting up a wireless connection.
I have a 2005 iMac G5 and currently I am using a Qwest DSL Modem with a Belkin router.
Qwest suggested that I buy a new wireless modem/router. It may be the Motorola 3347 or another wireless modem. I am worried about security when on the internet and have read about changing the SSID password and use the WPA for encryption. All of this is a mystery to me.
Also, I would like to buy from Directv the Linksys wireless adapter to use on my HD-DVR receiver to get their “On Demand Movies.”
My question is, does my iMac G5 have all of the security I need to use a wireless modem, and with the Linksys adapter can I view my photos or DVD’s in iMovie wirelessly to my TV in the living room?
I am concerned about security with a wireless setup, but it seems that all of the new TV’s have the ability to have a wireless connection to the internet.
Any suggestions would help me.

Need help with disconnect

I need some help with the disconnect process in Essbase. Specifically, I need a way to disconnect all current connections. The connections are created two ways: 1) using the built-in Essbase Connect dialog box, 2) the others are connections created using EssVConnect via VBA macro.The problem I'm having is that after a connection is created and the workbook or worksheet name changes, the connection is no longer associated with the workbook (and is now orphaned). As a result when I run EssVDisconnect against all open workbooks it doesn't close the orphaned connections.What can I do to sweep up and close the remaining orphaned connections? I have been playing around with EsbLogout, but that usually ends in an Excel crash.Thanks, Headtoadie

IPod ejects immediately after syncing

So, I have no idea why this is doing this. My 80 gig iPod classic will freeze when I first connect it to my computer which uses Windows Vista. Then, once I reset it, it will connect long enough to say that it is synced, and then immediately eject itself. Also, half of the songs on my iPod either won't play at all, or will stop playing at a certain point. I have reinstalled iTunes, used different usb ports, used different cables to connect my iPod, and restart my iPod each time I try to connect it. I can't even restore the ipod to factory settings because it doesn't stay connected long enough. I am lost. help!

I've deployed an EJB successfully, so I want to write the client-
side Java code to use it. The code calls the lookup() method on
