Need info or docs on customizing eBusiness Center form in TeleSales

I want to add one more field to the Organization search form and based on that the view should be populated.
Any one having experience in customizing the above?

I hope you have implemented Oracle Order Management. If so, there is a self service application called Order Information Portal (OIP) that comes with Order Management. The responsibility required for this is Order Information Super User. This application gives you the details of the orders including quote number, order number, order details, lines, shipments and invoice. This application is built in OA Framework and can be "personalized" to hide the field that are not required. This can be done without any code change.

    My intention is to display Quote,Order & Invoice tabs in the same application.
    I found Quote & Order in Ebusiness center (Telesales) and
    Order & Invoice tabs in contact center (Teleservices).
    But, I want all 3 in eigther in ebusiness center or in contact center.
    Apps Version : 11.5.10 R3.

    2.If yes, which is the easiest way to do so?

    Hi,
    Is it possible to add a custom tab, apart from the existing two custom tabs, to the existing eBusiness Center form? If yes, can anybody help me figuring out how it could be done? The requirement is client wants to add 4 custom tabs which is different information and also different (custom) tables. Does anybody have documentation regarding addition of custom tabs and how the design should go?

  • Access to needed info for a ChartItem custom renderer

    I essentially am mimicking some code in the help files, an
    example for using a 3-color repeating scheme with a ColumnChart. In
    my case, however, I want to custom-color some circles in a
    PlotChart.
    I don't need a repeeating scheme, though. I need to be able
    to choose the color based on information about the data itself. The
    data originates from an HTTPService, and so each item is on Object.
    Thus, I attempted to dynamically assign a property to the Object in
    my app code, and then access that property within my programmatic
    skin (which extends ProgrammaticSkin and implements IDataRenderer).
    Does anyone know how to get information from within such a
    programmatic skin?
    The easy workaround here was to use three different series
    and put data into the appropriate series, but this won't have the
    desired visual effect with a ColumnChart, which I must also
    implement.

    Found it. You get access back to the object with
    PlotSeriesItem.item -- the item property.

  • Need info on the approach for building admin forms for authoring

    I have a requirement to store the content in the content repository. I have two levels of data to be stored i.e. continents & countries; both continents & countries have their individual properties; continent contains countries node. I need to build a mechanism to store the content at a particular location in the JCR. The content authors should be able to add, edit or delete the continents & countries.
    What's the best way to build this admin form? Should the custom node types be created? Should a custom action type to be built? To support dynamism on UI i.e. add, edit & delete in a single form - how can it be done efficiently?
    If someone can provide me pointers, I will start with my build. Let me know if you need more information.

    The approach you listed sounds easy to implement.
    However I want to understand why out of all we choose cq:Page and why not nt:unstructured or sling:orderedFolder? Can sorting be enabled in this case?
    Also I have various scenarios where I need to store different form of data. Another example is storing product information in a alphebetical manner. There are lot of products to be stored and needs to be displayed in a tab format. The tab looks something like this A-E, F-L, M-S, T-Z, which should be configurable. Do you recommend creating one page per alphebet e:g A, B, C... and add all products (component) starting with A under page A, and so on? Or is there a better way to implement?
    Can something like calendar event be used here where in year, month and day node gets created first and then the event node is added. If so, in the above scenario how can the nodes A, B, C... be autocreated when products are added? Also the products need to be always sorted.

    As Tim said, Apple will not ship a repaired US iPhone to any location outside of the US. You will need to contact a co-worker, friend or relative to get the iPhone from the place to which it was delivered and ship it to you in China. Apple cannot help you further with this issue.
    And since, again as Tim said, we are all just fellow users here, it is a very bad idea to post personal information such as your repair ID in these forums. Such information could be abused.

    Requirement : We have a requirement to reuse the standard Activity subcomponents Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails within a custom work centre. The requirement is to leverage and copy all sub functionalities Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails available within the standard activity work center. This feature is available within Accounts, Opportunities, Leads etc. (Refer screenshot: Std_Act_Screen.jpg)
    We are unable to consume/embed the standard Activity (Work center) sub components Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails within the custom work center. This is because of backend consistency check violation UI designer error message displayed. (Refer screenshot:Error while consuming standard activities.jpg)

    a.      Is there a limitation to consume/embed the standard Activity (Work center) subcomponents Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails within a custom work center?  We have noticed that this standard Activity Work center subcomponents Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails has been repeatedly reused within the application in Account, Opportunity, Sales lead, Lead, Sales Quote Objects.
    b.      Is there an alternative way in which we can call [Through API etc..] the standard Activity Work center subcomponents Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails?
    We need your guidance to overcome the error to enable the reuse of the standard Activity Work center sub-components Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails within our custom work center or suggest a suitable workaround on how this can be achieved.

    We create sales order in CRM, through some B-Docs order will be replicated in ECC.
    Entries are getting created in this table based on availability of the materials.
    Through Z-Transaction code, we delete entries in this table.
    Sometimes blank entries are getting created in this table, I would like to know in which scenario this table is getting updated.

    By default, we will maintain language in Bill-to-Party & also Condition record. But if required, it can be chaged at Invoicing level while taking output. Priority will be Bill-to-party, followed by Condition Record.

    If I post document without any proft center, It is giving Balancing field error, no profit center could be determined.

    In your posting, there are no profit centre assignment to both accounts.  For customer, you cannot assign a profit centre.  But for Bank account, you can assign a default profit centre.  In new GL, you can assign a profit centre to your GL account per company code:
    F.A new ->GL a/c new -> Master data -> Profit centre -> Assign default profit centre to accounts

    A CSI is a "Customer Support Identifier" so you need a support contract to get one, yes.

    We wont use the Win 8.1 Product Key - We will Purchase new Windows 8.1 License for the fourth PC but install our copy of Win XP on the machine (we have only 3 License that we used for the older 3 machines).
    Carey's reply only speaks to the technical aspects of installing a dual boot environment.  It says nothing about licensing which is what I think you are asking about.  I do not believe that you can purchase a Windows 8.1 License and apply it to a
    Windows XP install.  You need to enter in the Product Key when the OS is installed and I seriously doubt that the XP install will accept the 8.1 Key.  If you don't have a 4th key for XP you won't be able to have a legal copy installed.

    Hey I installed the planning 9.3.1 and also I created the application name, using planning address. but the problem is I am unable to navigate through workspace. I am getting three dialog boxes....
    " invalid or could not find module configuration"
    "Required application module hyperioin planning app wizard is not configured.please contact your administrator"
    " Communication error"
    I'm able to see the application name in projects of shared services. Can any one face the same situation , and also I need info regarding how to initialize modules of capx and wfp.

    If you did a standard install then it should be running on port 19000 as well.
    I take it workspace is working fine on port 19000

    ^ this will be your workspace servername..
    When you run the configuration utility for Reporting and Analysis and the section "Configure Web Server", this is where you set up the Apache Server for workspace, there is an option for "Planning", this should be ticked and the correct planning server entered as it will default to the workspace server.
    The apache server redirects requests on the standard workspace port 19000 to the correct server and port, so for planning it redirects to the planning server and port 8300.

    Thanks in advance for your help gurus. I am developing 2 new pages and both should have link between them. WHen I click a button on page A it will navigate to page B, I am passing 2 parameters to page B. Page B is rendered with the help of values passed. Page B has 2 OAMessageLovInput Bean for which I am setting their values based on the values passed using

    Everything works great till now. Now I want to change the customer id on page B using the LOV ie I select a new customer and I tab out of the field, still the customer id is not changed, it is set to the old one only to which the bean is set to.
    What should I do get the new selected customer id to be populated on the LOV fields.

    You really do not need to explicitly set the customer Id through code. Just create a new LOV Mapping and make its return value to the MessageTextInputBean i.e CustID on base page and Lov Region Item would be the CustomerID of the Lov Table region.
    Create Custome ID in LOV Table region and set its render property to false. I am assuming that the custId is present in the LOV VO query.
