Need my questions cleared up and they treated me in a rude way

Hello! I have had a very frustrating experience with Comcast customer service and billing department and my service hasn't started yet!! I am afraid I will have to cancel or opt out of your services.On Monday I contracted an online offer. Here's the screen shot of what I contracted. I tried to click on the blue letters "pricing & other info" but nothing will pop up never, so I was not able to check the "little print" that usually hides extra fees or anything. Go to your website and tell me if anyone can retrieve that info, from Chrome in my Galaxy Light phone, I couldn't. On Tuesday I receive the confirmation of my order, but the details of my bill say something different from what I contracted!! Here's a screen shot of the order confirmation. Now, as I took screenshots of the steps it took me while I was contracting the service, here's the info of what I selected. I remember I choose self installation and the cheapest shipping and handling, but I thought it wa going to be free too, as the one that was $29.00 something was the expedited shipping. Today, I needed to set up my username and password and choose the papaerless bill so at 11 am I called the number 1 855 230 4264 they said they could not help me and sent my call to other number, they helped me with the username and password and sent my call tbilling department so they could give me info about the carges on my confirmation email. The lady that picked up was super rude, first she said that I contracted the service at a comcast office, which I didn't, then she said some nonesense and ended up cutting my call and sending it to somebody else. I ask for her supervisor or manager and she told me he would be able to talk to me. Put me on hold and I had to wait more thatn 15 minutes for somebody to pick up my call again. The man that picked up, asked how was my day and since I said that I was not as good as I would wanted to, he put me on hold again and picked up 5 minutes later. By then I was very super angry >:-( but I needed to finish this matter of knowing how much do I have to pay every month, so I tried to be patient, maybe a little sarcastic at a time. He started to give explanations that were not right, cause I answered with the info that I had. Then finally he said he had the offer I purchased and that probably it was shipping and handling what i was paying for, but he couldn't say if this was going to be my monthly statement or not. He sent me to somebody else that was supposed to tell me this, but the man that picked up told me my monthly statement was going to be $54.** plus tax!! Even worse!! He didn't knew about the online offer or whatsoever. Please people!!! All I want to know is if this $60.** was a one time charge or my monthly bill. The state tax is around 10% in TN so what I expected to pay is $55.00 tops Who am I supposed to ask if neither your customer service or billing departments have the information??????? Bee , you are so right that most people only post when things go wrong not right. Which made me think about the Apple Store in Charleston, SC. I have never had a bad experience and besides buying my iMac there (which was a really good experience as it took us several trips to decide and they were really helpful) I have had a number of 1:1's and I think one trip to the genius bar which resulted in a new mouse. Everyone I have dealt with there has been respectful and helpful. At least with those visits you do get a chance to provide feedback.

Why do i need to always clear cache and cookies before an application downloads?

I just upgraded to 3.6.8 and i'm using windows xp. I noticed that the mozilla became slower and everytime i tried to open websites or applications, it won't download until i clear the cookies and cache, but still it's really slow. Is there any other other I can do?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. 
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions. 
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") 
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" 
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

After downloading Firefox 4, my sites have lost the user ID's and they treat me like a stranger signing in for the first time.

Banking, store purchases, jacquie lawson, I visit a dozen sites where, as soon as I click the bookmark, the page appears with my user ID already showing, because I checked a box that said "remember." Now, when I go to these sites my user ID does not appear and no matter how many times I check that "remember" box, it will not save it. Why have I lost this feature and how do I get it back?

Open KeyChain Access
Look for the Screen name and double click on it.
Tick the Show Password check box.
Type your Admin password in the pop up and Allow Once button
The Password that is saved is now shown at the botom of the original window.
Edit as required and shut window.
Try iChat again.

I need help with a question about formatting and recovery

Hello, I have accidentally downloaded a trojan virus onto my computer and I have been told by tech support that the only way to completely rid my computer of its effects is to format my hard drive and restore my computer to factory defaults. I only NEED a handful of files and they arent infected so i already have them on a flash drive ready to be copied over to a restored version.
My Toshiba A665 S6050 supposedly has the recovery items and to access it you must hold "0" while starting it up... is that true? if it is true, after I format my hard drive, will i still be able to hold "0" on start-up and restore it to factory defaults or will formatting it wipe out that function?

Mark, if you elect to restore your hard disk to it's original out-of-the-box contents, then the whole disk will be exactly the way you got it, including the recovery partition.

Question on clustering and J2EE Environment Entries

Does anyone know if changes made through the admin server console to J2EE
 environment entries are propagated to the managed servers without
 redeploying the entire app. I can find a reference similar to this for
 things in the config.xml which states they are propagated in memory (in most
 cases) and can optionally be written permanently to the confg.xml file. I
 can't find a reference that tells me how/what is done for J2EE environment
 values.
 If this is not possible, how does one do dynamic configuration setting for a
 J2EE application in a clustered environment?

What I'm talking about is the environment entries that are set in the web
 application deployment descriptor (web.xml) from the admin server console.
 You go to a specific web-app in the console and then click on "edit web
 application deployment descriptor". From there (towards the bottom of the
 tree on the left) is Env Entry. You can change Environment Entries in the
 DD. What is unclear is if the values are propagated to the running app
 (in memory). For example, if I have a servlet that reads this environment
 entry and I change it in the admin console is the new value reflected
 (relatively) immediately? It's not entirely clear.
 Since there is an option to "persist" these changes (in the top of the tree)
 that would seem to imply that the changes are propagated to the running
 instances in memory otherwise why would I not want to persist the change?
 On the other hand, I would have also expected a button to let me decide when
 to push the changes so I could control when the managed server know about
 the change (for example, if I had to set more than one property to configure
 something).
 So ... does this make my question clearer? And if so is there any
 documentation the describes this? If not how do people handle configuration
 of a running application in a cluster if it not through DD environment
 entries?

Basically your insurers are trying to fob you off and are implying they don't believe you own the phone as who keeps this information?!?!
You need to call your insurers and ask them to arrange a "three way call" with EE and you and then they can ask EE all the questions they want. If they again fob you off (which is likely) tell them you want to complain and intend to escalate this issue to FOS http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/ (this costs them £550 if you complain to the FOS) and then they will have to refer your case to complaints who will likely be the actual insurer/underwriter and then you will get your claims dealt with.

Hi Experts,
This is the first time I am going to deal with
ESS and MSS.
I have some basic questions about it and they are

here is what I know..
1 & 2. Depending on the backend SAP version, the relevant ESS/MSS Business Packages have to be installed on the Portal. On the backend it will be via an Add-on.
3. The webDynpro versions of ESS/MSS are available from mySAP ERP2004/2005 (ECC5/6). The best way to customize the iViews would be through the NetWeaver DevStudio.

Thank you Klaus1.The large font, I copied and pasted from my mail box.I'm visually impaired...not to a huge degree but it helps to use the large font.I believe you are right about the copyright on the imac stuff but if facebook decide otherwise, you have to reply electronically to their challenge.If you can't provide a reference directly from the copyright owner then they remove the video.I believe this is a programmed response and no human is involved which now makes it impossible for me to get my video uploading restored.They detect added soundtrack automatically and then challenge.There are many others in the same boat and facebook will not communicate.They have various discussion sites on which I have left messages including Mark Zuckerbergs own facebook but I don't think anyone from facebook ever reads them.I intend to start a second facebook which I can use purely to get my videos uploaded as a lot of my friends enjoy them BUT don't want fall foul of their programming again.If only iMac would put something on the net to this effect.I think it is so unfair that with modern technology it is impossible to contact these large conglomerates personally and receive an email response.I tried emailing [email protected] but I got a failure notice.If you have any ideas on how to get verification from apple direct, I would be very grateful.Thank You.

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple - I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post (it's not a good idea to post personal info on any public forum).
The reset link on an account will only show if there is a rescue email address on it, alternate email addresses are different and not used for resetting them. If she has a rescue email address on her account then steps 1 to 5 half-way down this page will give you a reset link on the account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
If she doesn't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use steps 1 to 7 half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use

I purchased an iphone 4 from a friend, i called the carrier and they have unlocked it for me but the phone still needs to be activated as i have restored it. Can i activate the iphone through itunes by using a different carriers sim card?

I purchased an iphone 4 from a friend, i somehow cleared it and it's now at the original activation screen, i have spoken to the carrier and they have unlocked it for me. Once the carrier unlock details get sent to apple, will i be able to use any carrier sim card to activate the iphone? currently when i connect to itunes it says the sim is not the original one and i need to insert the original sim... will this happen now that it has been carrier unlocked? i have been told the unlocking can take between 5 and 72 hours, do i just keep trying with itunes or do i have to do something different?
This is a christmas present for my son and i am running out of time, i'm not in an area that i can just go into an apple store and ask, i'm currently overseas in a very poor country and there are not many iphones that i have seen here so your help would really be appreciated.

It's a really bad idea to post your email addresess - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove them.
This is a user-to-user forum and no-one on here can take any direct action. If your Yahoo address is not working that's something you would need to take up with Yahoo - have you checked it by sending yourself an email to it?
Otherwise you will need to contact Support: go to https://expresslane.apple.com/ and click on 'iTunes' in the center column and then 'iTunes Store' in the right-hand column and proceed from there.
