HI,
i doing BDCbdc for FB60 and i will need to run 1 more BDC before i PARK the doc.
The first BDC is to set the company code to 1000
But there is a problem if the company code in FB60 is 1000, then the BDC i run will fail.
IF the company code in FB60 is 1234 ad i try to set it as 1000, the BDC will run success.
therefore i think of a way, is there any way that i will able to know what is the company code in FB60 WITHOUT looking at the company code in FB60.
Is there a method that BDC can validate the company in FB60.
e.g
IF (company code in FB60) = 1000.
perform ........
else.
perform .......
ENDIF.

i know about this but what if the company have many company codes and once the BDC run.
the BDC have to check now the FB60 is 1000 or 1234 because different company code using different vendor. this is why i need to validate now the FB60 is using 1000 or 1234.
because there are too many company code, and if i have to set the company code in FB60 manual everytime it will become troublesome.
In FB60 transaction the system first promt for entering the company code
this will only happen when never use FB60 before, after you have set it to 1000, next time try to go to FB60 again it will not Promt to enter company code. it will use the last company code you have set.
that is why i need some guide on how to know what is the company code it using now by not going into FB60 itself.

Regarding error for sending mail

hello ,
i was trying to send mail in linux. i have activated all the services such as smtp,pop3, imap and all needed services. i am also successful to set up domain in linux and able to send mail through mozaria mail box.
but through code i face some problems. my program complies but at time of running it is giving null ptr exception.
my domail is email.simon.com
and also providing my code with this so if anybody has information then plz help and guid us

Probably here:Session mailConnection = Session.getInstance(props,null);I don't see the point of passing null for the Authenticator here. If you aren't going to authenticate then use the other getInstance method:Session mailConnection = Session.getInstance(props);

Error during configuration of Sender Mail Adapter

Hellow All,
I was trying to configure Sender Mail Adapter and I am getting this error.

Can anybody please suggest me why this error is occured and how to solve that?

1)Try to do with POP3
2)Check the URL , give correct Exchange Server Name/IP address.
3) Hope you have access to read the inbox (sometimes it will not be there)

Finding all SharePoint objects (alerts, workflows, etc) configured to send mail to a specific user

Hi all,
I'm looking at the mail traffic originating from our SharePoint instance and noticed there are a number of "delivery has failed to these recipients or groups" for people no longer with us.
Is there a means (powershell?) to discover the objects (alerts, workflows, etc...) in SharePoint that are sending mail to these people so they can be removed as part of old account housekeeping?

You can verify the content of emails which will have names of users and kind of emails , if that is aa workflow approval or simple alerts. if its workflow alert you might need to contact the sharepoint administrator/designer who can find

Need Help on powershell Script to send mails in different languages

Hello, Just wanted to use the script below to remind users of password expiry date (I got it from internet New-Passwordreminder.ps1). We have companies in many countries, so the email should be in the language of that country. So since our users are in different
OU's according to countries, I thought some one could help me edit this script and say if the user is in AB ou then email in english will be sent, if in BC ou then the email will be in Russian....So in the script I will have all the languages I need

Just a little claritification, you need to add the value to the variable "[string]$ou", and also change the language in the variable "$emailbody" in the function "Get-ADUserPasswordExpirationDate".

Step by step guide to configure 10.8 mail server

Looking for a decent guide to walk me through configuring the mail server, testing the configuration, etc. plus the obvious DNS and other configuration necessary to make it work and access it from the outside world.

Internet Mail
In order to run your own domestic mail server with an address of [email protected] you first need to register domain.com at a registrar. I use GoDaddy and Name.com, but please look around to find a registrar to fit your needs and budget - it usually is about $10,- a year.
Second you need to set up the DNS at your registrar in the sense that you tell their system to make an A-record for the name server.example.com pointing to the public IP of your modem.
Third you need to set up an MX record with a preference of - say - 10 and the host would be the A-record you've just created. Please follow the instructions of the registrar you choose, the'll have a manual or you can contact their customer support.
Fouth you need the set up port forwarding within your the device that gets the public ip (usually your modem) for ports 25 (TCP), 587 (TCP) to forward the ports to the internal ip address of your server.
You can usually consult the manual of your modem's manufacteren online.
Background information
DNS
Domain Naming System is a way of exchanging a name like apple.com for an ip address like
17.149.160.49. It's like one big conversion table, which you need because computers don't know what to do with domain names except forward the request you put in to a DNS Server that you have to specify somewhere, a popular one is Google's (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) which you are free to use. You don't really *need* a local DNS server.
Private IPs
The ip's of 192.168.*.*, 172.16.*.* and 10.0.*.* are typical Local Area Network addresses.
This is all within your house or building.
Public IPs
Your modem is assigned the public IP address normally, unless you set up your modem in bridge mode, in which case the router would need to handle authentication (PPPoE).

Need some help regarding validation of input in a text field

i am new to all this website designing stuff and is working on my first website (treausre hunt types) and expecting some guidance over here.   :-)
I have successfully managed to validate the login page using server behaviour.
Let me explain what i need guidance with.
After login , the user is redirected to a page where a question is asked and he has to type the answer in the given text field and click on the submit button. Now i want to validate the given answer with the correct one and if it is answered correctly then the user is redirected to the next page.
the question is what and how am i supposed to do this? i am using adobe dreamweaver cc and wampserver as localhost.

This becomes complicated to do it the way you want BUT YOU CAN do it - you just need to be a bit more efficient and get a template together.
Copy the 4 documents below and paste into seperate DW files to see how this works then look at the code and see if a pattern becomes noticeable to you. What we are doing is adding 1 to each level and checking the user has accumulated a score to that level - if not they are bumped down to the level which they have reached or in the case of not reaching any level to question 1.

1. tcode SCOT
2. double click SMTP>> check mark "Node in use" >> Mail Host : "mail.yourdomain.com">> click "internet set" if you want all email in/out, add * under address area. save/green check mark.
3. go back to SCOT >> Settings >> Default Domain,: it should be "yourdomain.com" >> SAVE.
4. View >> Jobs: Click Create button >> name it 'SENDMAIL'. green check marK >> click preodic, run every 5 min or 3 minz depending on your situation or load.
That's it. very simple.

I need some help Regarding Cumulative totals

i have a requirement
1) we have columns calender Periods and actual to date. The requirement is we need cumulate the actual to date. i have applyed RSUM function in column formula.
2) it is working fine. But again the requirement is this cumulative solution is changed based on selected calender periods. but this is not expected.

Need some info regarding BWA1 transaction in CRM

Hi,
I am trying to understand few things for the BWA1 transaction. Looks like we need to explore the BWA1 transaction for data source enhancement before trying the classical Data source enhancement method (Append structure in the Data source ) in RSA6.
1> The Data source fields visible in transaction RSA6 is stored in TABLE ROOSFIELD.
2> In BWA1 transaction the visible field (in the 'extract structure tab in the Field 'selection <> 'A' ) matches with the Data source fields in RSA6
   However the entry in the 'Mapping' tabs in Transaction BWA1 is stored in table SMOXRELP.
3> All the fields from the Extraction Structure TAB rightly belong to the extraction structure maintained in the Metadata tab.
After that I seem to loose my way.
For example take the example of data source 0CRM_SALES_ORDER_I, the above two assumptions are correct.
But when I look at the extraction structure (CRMT_BW_SALES_ORDER_I) AND the segments in the Mapping tabs (ORDERADM_H, ORDERADM_I etc)
I dont seem to relate them, I know there these comes from the BDOC BUS_TRANSACTION_MESSAGE (as mentioned in the Metadata Tab in BWA1) but dont really understand the correlation.
Also please note that I am not able to change the value for Selection field in the Extract Structure tab. I that case, how can I really enable some field which are by default hidden from the BW data source? Also how can I extend the whole thing to take into some custom fields as well that I have created for the Sales Transaction as well.

1. Enhance Extract Structure with the required fields. (Create & include

At some places I can't send mail

In most places I go to with WiFi I can send and receive mail. When I go to a few other places it will not let me send emails but I can receive them. Why is this

HT3748 for some reason i can not send mail only receive it on hotmail

For some unknown reason i can only recieve mail and not send it on hotmail, it has worked perfectly before.

... it will probably show that your email sender and email receiver are both unreachable. If it ever worked before, this is probably not YOUR problem.
Try their WebMail (Use a Web Browser to surf to their Web address and try to pick up your mail from there.)
At this writing, EarthLink in the US is down for a large group of Users in New York and New England area.
