Need to change status of incident after creating CR

Hi Experts ,
I am creating a CR from my incident as folloow up document  from CRMD_ORDER tcode. That is working fine .
After creating CR i need to change the status of incindent to 'CR created" .
Means at the time of creating CR i need to change the status of incident .
1 .Please suggest me where to add code related to update incdent ?
2 . Can i use ORDER_SAVE badi or any other BADI existed for that ?

Thnx for quick reply. I am new to CRM .I understood whats to be done.
I  am following these steps :
In my CR action profile i am creating a new action called Z_status_change.
In process type- "permitted process type of action "  i am selecting as ' METHOD CALL" .
Next i am clicking on "SET PROCESS' .
Here i am getting problem . When i click on help for on METHOD system is showing existing methods .Here Which method i need to select to change the status .so i thought to create a custom method .
So i created a BADI Z_STATUS_CHANGE and in attributes of BADI i have given filter type as PPFDFLTVAL .
I created implementation for this BADI  Z_STATUS_CHANGE_IMP and in attributes in method i have given Z_STATUS_CHANGE .
But if i search in method in process type of action defination i could not see the method.
Is the process i am following is right or wrong ?
If i miss any thing to do pl guide me .

    step 1: save a image in gif format with z or y intial letter
    step 2: goto tcode smw0
    step 3: select Binary data
    step 4: click find button
    step 5: click execute
    step 6: goto settings > maintain MIME type
    step 7: click create > type =*.gif >extension =.GIF click ok and then go back
    step 8: click create >OBJ Name=name of image with extension>desc=any>click import
    step 9: select image click local object
    step 10: tcode sm30
    table name >SSM_CUST click maintain
    enter parameter RESIZE_IMAGE value =no
    START_IMAGE value =name of object name / image name with extention (in capiatl letter)
    step 11: click save
    step 12: logoff and login.

  • Is it possible to change orientation from dual after creating folio?

    Somehow my orientation got converted to dual orientation and iit is only a vertical publication.  It went to my adboe content viewer on my iPad perfectly, but now when i try to view it on my ipad with it hooked into the computer it says orientation does not match.  I looked at the folio and it has landscape and portrait, but i have no idea how it switched as i never created any landscape files.  Any help would be appreciated as I do not want to build it over from scratch again.

    Unfortunately, you can't change the orientation settings of a folio. You have to create a new folio. If you set up your folder structure properly when you created the files, importing articles into the new folio is easy. If you built your articles manually, you have to redo your work.

    I need to change the approval style of Create Vacancy, currently it is configured as follows
    1. Approver 1 approves the vacancy
    2 . Approver 2 Finally approves the vacancy after approver 1.
    Now the change is the on level 1 we need to four approver who ever first approve the vacancy it goes to level 2 and on this level there would be two approvers whoever approves the vacancy no need for all in both level.
    kindly tell me how can I configure Rules , Attributes, Conditions , actions and approver groups in AME business Analyst Resp.

    I have edited one of the Rules created in Transaction Type: iRecruitment Vacancy Approval. Under the Actions Section, I have added the approver 2,3,4

    approval-group chain of authority Require approval from APPROVER 1
    approval-group chain of authority Require approval from APPROVER 2
    approval-group chain of authority Require approval from APPROVER 3
    approval-group chain of authority Require approval from APPROVER 4
    approval-group chain of authority Require approval from HEAD_OF_HR1
    approval-group chain of authority Require approval from HEAD_OF_HR2
    but due to this change the approval is going to be in the sequential direction, for example APPROVER 1, APPROVER 2,3,4 then HEAD OF HR1,2 instead we need who ever approve first then it goes to 2nd level and approved by one of the head of hr as I mentioned above. Kindly tell me this action type I am using for this is correct or should we need to create another action type or should we need to amend approver group SQL statement or any other way which we can acheive the desired goal.   • Changing Status of preceeding document in CHARM

    Hi Experts ,
    I need to change the status of a preceeding document in CHARM.
    I created a YDAD document from YDCR.
    When i change status of YDAD to cancelled i need to change status of YDCR to Cancelled.
    Steps i followed :
    1 . While changing status of YDAD to cancelled i added a new parameter PREDOC_STATUS and given status of YDCR as E0009.
    2. In "Assign actions" for  status "cancelled" of YDAD i hve given a action SET_PREDOC .
    3.In  "Specify Status Attributes"  for  status "cancelled" of YDAD  i hve given YDCR  YDCRHEAD  E0009.
    But still it is not working . Please help me on this .

    Hi, I'm new to ITSM and the client asking me how he can change the status of an incident, after he change it to "Confirmed".  Is there a way to change the status of an incident after it is set to "Confirmed"?  Or can I change the configuration of the Status field to allow that change?

    I dont think, you can reopen the confirmed ticket by standard, but please try with the report CRM_SOCM_SERVICE_REPORT.
    if not try with the status profile customization, remove the FINI settings from the confrimed status  also change the highest and low values also accordingly.

    i have created a sales order with material 'DCC001'.
    after creating the sales order the STATUS of material 'DCC001' should be 'Sales not allowed'.
    but, when i am checking the status of that material, its showing blank in field 'X-distr.chain status' which is in tab 'Sales: sales org. 1'.
    Please tell me how can i change the status after creating SO.

    To get an idea of some of things I’ve tried I’ve tried making the movie with two frames.
    When I click the button it switched to the new frame which would show a movie clip,
    Unfortunately all buttons would change color together and don’t see how to make it so that they change independently.

    - I assign the change number to the document.
    - Now, I open the document in cv02n and change the status.
    - New revision is created with revision level 01.
    Now I want to change the status of the document to the next status according to status network but its not happening. Would you please provide your valuable suggestions.

    based on your description I've tested the behaviour on our test system and I would kindly tell you that the behaviour you are facing is the standard. The mentioned error message are raised because, since the Change Order is released, the DIR remains locked and you will not be able to make any changes to the DIR, including the status.If this DIR was not associated to the Change Order(which is released),you could have made changes to the document status.
    Please note that status change with 'Change Master Without Release Key' is possible to change the status but with 'Engineering Change Order with Release Key' it's not. I hope this information will help you.

    1. Use TC -  DC10--define document type,
    .or u can navigate by SPRO> Crass application functions>document management>control data> difine document type.
    2.Here u select your document type, to whicch u need Automatic Status Networking.
    3.Select define document statuse folder in the same screen. u develop ur document network.
    note: when u develope statuse net work, it will always triggers next status. for this next statuse would be change or approve like.
    4.Here u will find assigne digital sign field. here acually u enter your digital signaure[name] which u created erliear.
    5.save entries.
    6.Automatic triggering means u have to set work flow. once a person enters the signature for appropriat status, the doc would triggers next person[inbox], whos is approver or releaser.......like this u have to develop stause with signature mandatory to set workflow for automatic triggering, Both options is available in same screen.

  • How to change the IO status to CLOSE after it has been settled through ko8g

    I have the following scenario : An internal order is assigned to a PO and after setllement of such an order i need to CLOSE the order .
    The PO has a GR done (no IR) . Currently Internal Order is in the status : TECO [technically complete] and setlement has ben doneusing Actual Settlemnet Run using KO8G.
    Now i need to change the IO status to  [ CLOSE ] : it is gving an error in KO02 : Balance is not zero .
    How  to change the Internal Order status to CLOSE or rather how to make teh balance in that Order toZero?
    Is it reqd to process some GR's for teh same PO ?

    Check the order balance in Ko02
    Menu -->  Extras  -->  Order Balance if balance exist it means that the order has not completely settled.

It keeps saying "no new  fields recognized. What can I do to redo my document with the changes in the text, but no changes in the fillable fields?

    You start with a source / authoring file for the "static" content (e.g., Name, Last:). Say this is an MS Word file.
    You master the "static" content..
    You keep this authoring file and have a backup of this file.
    You output a PDF and use Acrobat to build and fine tune the "form" (form = the form fields, not the "static" content).
    The authoring file  and output PDF (with form fields) gives you "rev 00".
    Now, you must change something in the "static" content.
    Open the authoring file and save as to a new version (e.g., "wordfile_v00"  becomes "wordfile_v01).
    Output this to "pdffile_v01".
    Use Acrobat to open the PDF form file "pdffile_v00". Save As to a new file name ("pdffile_v00update").
    Using Acrobat XI Pro the click-path Tools - Pages - Replace lets you replace a page or pages of "pdffile_v00update" with a page or pages from "pdffile_v01".
    This replaces the "static" PDF page content and does not affect the form fields on the page.
    (you may have to adjust position of form fields)
    Save "pdffile_v00update" to "pdffile_v01" to reflect the revised status of the PDF form file.

    Depending on the amount of customizations that you did, it may be easier to use the wizard to re-create the master-detail form & report.
    If you still want to give it a go:
    Assuming that you created the 2-page Master Detail report & form:
    On the first page, you will have to chage the SQL to reflect the new table name. Once you do that, you'll have to re-create the link on the EMPID column.
    On the second page, you'll need to do some more work. You'll have to change both Page Rendering Processes: Fetch Row from EMP and Get Next or Previous Primary Key. You'll then need to change the Page Processing Process: Process Row of EMP. Also, ensure that you have a proper Foreign Key relationship between EMP2 and DEPT (or your detail table).

    Hi Neil,
    The program RBDMIDOC needs to be scheduled to run in backgroung by creating a variant for Messge Type with the Message Type you are using for your Master Data Distribution, and with the option 'Only for Background Proc.'.
    Also schedule the program RBDCPCLR for periodic execution in Background. All change ptrs generated by the program RBDMIDOC will bedeeted y the system.
