Need to change the column constrain from NOT NULL to NULL

Hi,
My requriment is I have to change the column constraint (NOT NULL) to NULLable (column having data), I used below query for that
alter table table_name modify transaction_cost2 default null
even command is successfull, but column constrain is still NOT NULL.
can you any one help on this.. ( steps to change column constain from not null to null)

MODIFY( transaction_cost2 NUMBER NULL )That assumes that the data type of the TRANSACTION_COST2 column is NUMBER-- you'll want to use the current data type if it is something else. I'm hoping that the fact that you have a column named TRANSACTION_COST2 doesn't imply that you have an incorrectly normalized data model. But the name of the column certainly implies that you do.

I don't know the iOS behavior so I will answer for OSX.
At this time, on your machine, Numbers use the decimal comma.
This means that your system is set to behave this way.
Enter the System's Preference Pane entitled "Language and Text" and customize the number's format.
In this screenshot you may see the default French settings.
Replace the comma by the period in both "Decimale" fields then restart the machine.
The system will use the decimal period and Numbers will do too.
Assuming that one day you want to revert to decimal comma, no problem, revert the system's setting.
Numbers will be fair enough to adapt itself to the new state.
In fact, it store decimal numbers in the English format : decimal period and adjust on the fly according to system settings.

Every time i try to open iTunes, it tells me i need to change the language...not sure why it is asking me that but how do i do that?

With that particular message, I'd first try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:

How can we change the column sequence from 1st to 7th position

I have a table in which I have a column naming DNAME and it is is on the first position I want to change its position to 7 that is the last one. The table is huge filled with data.
Is there ant way in which I can cange the position of the column with out recreating in into another table and then renaming it.

The sequence of a column in a table is meaningless and you should treat it as such. The column ordering you see when you run a "select * from ..." query is based on the physical implementation of the table, which is completely separate from the logical interpretation, and should not be relied on in a programmatic context. It should essentially be viewed as "random" and prone to change with the physical storage properties of the table (although this is not always the case, there is no assurance of this).
One way to do this (which happens to be the easiest and least resource-intensive in this case) is to create a view (derived relation) of the base table, with the columns ordered in the specific sequence you desire. But really, the column ordering here is still meaningless, and the only time your application should rely on the order is when you specifically list the columns you require in a query -- but NEVER a "select *".

u cant change the message from E301 to W301 as the code where the message is placed does not come under any enhancement point so that cannot be enhanced , u can do even with implicit enhancements but that does nto fall under it i mean uisng implicit enhancement options u can add some new code at start and end of the programs, u can use enahcnement poitns to enhance the code which comes under that point and it is obvious sap do not allow everythign to be modifed , so if u want to really chnage ti then u cna use access key and change it but it has implications on other programs from where this is called

Need to change the column attribute in PIVOT

Please find the below table.

Infrastructure     100     100     100     100     400
Grand Total     400     400     400     400     1600
Instead of Depreciation need to display as 3rd Party. But 3rd Party not present in Database.
Is there any other way to achieve in PIVOT.

You should be able to use a case statement in the criteria column formula like this: CASE WHEN TABLE.COLUMN_NAME = 'Depreciation' then '3rd Party' else TABLE.COLUMN_NAME end
Replace TABLE.COLUMN_NAME with your source column name.

I need to change the apple Id from the previous user into my new user. I bought the phone from my girlfriend at work and didn't wipe it before I transferred all contacts and pictures.

When I try to send text messages or to back up my info to the ICloud,everything seems to be linked to her email address and I can't get rid of it. Do I need to wipe it all out and re-install all my contacts and pictures all over again?

In the SMART Forms, you would have created a Table object and specified the line width and divided that into no. of columns that you want, you have to mandatorily specify the width of each column so that total of column width will be equal to that of the line width.
When you double click on the Table object, you can TABLE tab on the right side. If you can't see the line / columns details, click on the DETAILS button.

5500-ac change the logging level from info to warnings

We have 4 Cisco Systems AIR-PWR-5500-AC’s in our network with logging set to default of informational. This level of logging generates a lot of noise. I need to change the logging level from info to warnings, but cannot do so until I have a table that shows what messages will be excluded if I make this change.

There is nothing that you can do to get rid of the balance on your own. Contact iTunes Store Support and seek their assistance. I believe that they can reset your balance for you.

You can change the activity reference period in the Plan Form - > Not In Program tab from annually to monthly. However, it will impact all the calcuations as it will use monthly values for everything. Please be careful of this. I would suggest testing this (along with posting back the increases to ensure they are annual amounts) before proceeding with this.

I need to change the sum total with javascript.
The initial loading of the page SUMs the DB values correctly. Then onchange JS for a couple of factors may change one items COST.
When that one item's COST changes I need to reSUM the total with JS.
I was trying the following.. I don't know JS to well.

I got the following working. See any problems?
headers=="COST" actually showed up in each row of the whole column, including the SUM. So it ended up being great so I could sum it in the JS.
I had to change the column type to NUMBER from VARCHAR2 for the initial SUM to work, so adding any formating to the SQL was not good. It looks pretty much what Andy has though... I found a slight hesitation it it though.. I have to work out a bug that prints the old total instead of the first.
