Need to get Adobe flash or equlivant on to my iPad 3 can you help?

I have been instructed by an on line course for my series 65 lic. To download The latest version of Adobe, but I keep getting that it is not made for my device. It rolls over to Adobe Systems Adobe Photoshop Touch for 9.99. When I try to download it gives me an unknown error. Can sone one help me?

It might be possible that some of the content for taking the course is in a Flash format which is not supported on Apple mobile devices (like an iPad3). If this is the case, you may need to complete the course on a device that does support Flash content such as a computer or Android tablet. I don't know this for sure (pure speculation) but that kind of sounds like what is happening based on your description. Photoshop Touch is an image editing application, similar to what Photoshop or Photoshop Elements is on a computer. I would recommend contacting the instructor for the online course. You might need to take the course on some kind of different device.

Here are a couple of ways, one using the Netstream class and the other using the FLVPlayback component.
For the NetStream approach, the following in the timeline code will play/loop the intended mp4 file...

For the FLVPlayback component, add it to the stage, give it an instance name ("fp" used below), assign your mp4 file ("path_to/your.mp4") as the source property in the Properties panel, and select the option to autoplay as well. Place the following code in the timeline...

         fp.play();
To put the Flash swf file in an html page, in the Publish Settings set it to publish an swf and an html page. Publish the file an the html page will be created for you.

I fould a hack that makes the sites think you have the latest (Intel) version of Flash installed. So I installed it & it works with Firefox, TenFourFox & Safari. Here's the info.
Download this http://www.steelbin.com/FPforFBPPC.zip to your desktop, unzip it, and replace the current Flash Player plug-in which is in your main/Library/Internet Plug-Ins folder, (not the user Library). Save the old one just in case this one doesn't work.

this happened after I downloaded the PSE13 SW, extracted the zip file and launched the Set-up.exe for the very first time, and on every retry.
It asked for my Adobe Id, and after entering it, those four squares started to circle and never stopped, as described by jeni69.
All I want to accomplish is to convert a photo catalog from album starter edition 3.2 to PSE.
After failing to install PSE13, I downloaded a trial version of PSE12, and installed it successfully. But now I am stuck with a conversion error. (Sorry, don´t have the English version)
Do you happen to know, which version of PSE would be capable of converting an Album Starter Edition Catalog?

We can definitely try. Could you give me some clues to as what is going on. What happens after you insert the DVD? Does the instaler start? Does the instaler give an error message. and what version of Photoshop are you trying to install?

Flash Player no longer comes built-in on the new Kindle Fire second generation or the Kindle Fire HD (they are released in September 2012). Adobe is making Flash obsolete, so it's no longer on any new tablets or mobile devices.
There's a good workaround to make Flash work on the Kindle Fire, however. See here for the details:

Every time I open a blank tab in IE8, I get a message:
Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially unsafe operation. The following local application on your computer or network about:blank is trying to communicate with this Internet-enabled location: s.nsdsvc.com. To let this application communicate with the Internet, click Settings. You must restart the application after changing your settings.
I have tried clicking the Settings button, but that just closes the message box. I have added both about:blank and s.nsdsvc.com to my trusted sites. I tried creating an html file with nothing in it and setting that as my home, but I am still getting the stupid message.
This is driving me to distraction. How can I fix it?
p.s. If this is already posted and answered, I apologize. I searched for it but it appears that the forum search is still broken.

There is no swf in a blank page, so I don't know how to do what you suggested.
However, I tried something else that seems to have worked. I took EVERYTHING out of my list of trusted sites. I know it doesn't make sense, but I'm not getting those messages now.

With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. Sounds as if you have enabled Zoom, an accessibility feature. Try triple-tapping the home button to turn off zoom. If that does not work, then double-tap the screen with 3 fingers. One of them should disable zoom. Then you can go into Settings>General>Accessibility and make sure that zoom is turned off there, and also check to see what the accessibility shortcut is for triple-clicking the home button.
