Need to link theTables STXH and MAPL or PLPO

Hi Gurus,
I need to link the tables STXH and MAPL ( or PLPO) as we are preparing a report to fetch the routings and materials on the basis of object text (i.e available in routing long text).
Please help me in this regard.

Hi,
if the text is available then you will get a entry in STXH table inputs
text object = ROUTING
text name = concatenation of MANDT + PLNTY + PLNNR + PLNKN + ZAEHL (example 500N500000190000000100000001)
text ID = PLKO
Language = EN
if no entry existis then no long text for that routing
or
You can use the following fucntion module to find if long text exits for a operation.
READ_TEXT
In this pass the following parameters:
ID = PLPO
NAME = concatenation of MANDT + PLNTY + PLNNR + PLNKN + ZAEHL (example 500N500000190000000100000001)
OBJECT = ROUTING
The output of this fucntion module will have the internal table with the long text. If this internal table is not empty then it means long text exists for this operation.

Hello All
We have implemented SAP OTC transactions (51A, 52A, 53A and 55A). We did not have the requirement to sell them when they were set up. However we got the requirement recently. We need to link the purchase and sale of a transaction and record the realized gain and loss. I dont see a way to link OTC transactions and there by post the realized gain and loss.
Example:
If we buy a commercial paper (53A) on Jan 1 2014 maturing Oct 31, 2014 for a nominal amount of 10,000 at 98% payment rate, which will generate a payment flow of 9,800 on Jan 1 2014.
Now if we decide to come out of it (sell) on June 30, if the rates went down and we only get 9,000 of the nominal amount for the sale.
How can we have the system link these 2 to determine that we incurred a realized loss in this case?
Hove anyone had this situation before? Any help on this topic with be much appeciated and points will be rewarded.

Try TBR6 to link; may be reference category "REF"; then, from each transaction, you can go to Environment-Object links and see the linked transaction.
However, I don't know off hand, if it will let you do realized gain/loss on a net basis; in that case may be Securities module would be the solution.

iTunes will need to be set up on your computer however you can set up a new Apple ID to use for your iPhone. Really all you need to do is Assign a new Apple ID to your iCloud account.
Follow the link to create a new Apple ID: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/
After you do that, on the device you want to assign a new iCloud account go: Settings > iCloud > Delete Account and then sign in with the new Apple ID.
NOTE: This does not effect iTunes, all of your devices can continue to use one shared iTunes account under your original Apple ID for downloading apps and backups. This simply gives iCloud a place to sync the individual devices information and will stop iCloud form merging all the information, such as contacts, with all of your devices.

I am need of help! I have had this issue for a while now and it's becoming frustrating.
My iTunes installed on my HP Windows 8 Netbook is unable to recognize my iPod, the error message along the lines of "iTunes has detected an iPod but unable to recognise"

When you say reset your settings do you mean to factory settings? As my iPod was swapped at the store for a new one and the problem is still there...

Need to link 2 files, one with a numeric firld and on with an alpha numeric

I need to link 2 files in my report by employee number. In the employee file it is an 8 character Numeric field like 1505087. In the GL File, it is an 8 character field like '01505087' I have done a TONUMBER on the employee number. Where do I link these files? I have done it in my data selection, but it now takes hours to run the report. The report does work. Any suggestions for linking the files together?

Hi Rick,
Linking numeric and non numeric fields at report level takes long time because for each detail it has to process i.e convert your non numeric field to numeric and then link.
To avoice this, try to use Add command for your non numerica table and convert the field to numeric in free hand SQL itself.
Eg: Select fields..convert(non numeric to numeric) from table // my convert syntex is not correct becasue i don't know what database you are using
Now you get both tables with numeric fields and you can link both. It will not take much time to retive records.

Using a loop is a good thing, but you have to code it carefully : ABAP is faster than queries on database!
As mentioned in the previous posts, you should use BINARY SEARCH for your READ : it will be much faster. But you can let the DELETE in the loop but deleting regarding the current recording. Your code could be like this one :
" In order to use BINARY SEARCH, you first have to sort the table
SORT it_stxh BY tdname.
" Loop over the records
LOOP AT it_act_search INTO wa_act_search.
READ TABLE it_stxh WITH KEY tdname = wa_act_search-guid
    BINARY SEARCH.
IF sy-subrc 0.
" Delete the current record
    DELETE it_act_search.
ENDIF.
ENDLOOP.

Manning777 you should be able to download the software from the page you referenced. I would recommend trying a different web browser or perhaps checking the security settings on your browser.
