Need to prevent invoices with 0 price line items to accounting .
Hi All,
I have a requirement where in I need to prevent the invoices with 0 price line items to accounting if item category is relevant for pricing.The invoices which have 0 price line items and item category has specific 0 price need not to be prevented for accounting.
Please provide your input to meet the requirement.

PraveenIn the incompletion procedure of the Sales Order Item level - have PRSOK and NETWR as entries.Assign a status group that has the defintion that the General / delivery / picking / packing / billing is blocked (checked) .
Then you will not be able to create / process Invoice with ZERO amount.

Payment terms for Customer Invoice with a credit line item
Hi all,
We have a business scenario where we create customer invoices on a weekly basis. The payment terms for these items are a certain payment discount if paid within 365 days. Included in these invoices are credit items which relate to refunds that are due to the customer.
Below is a scenario for Customer XXXX:
Invoice 1 Baseline date 12.01.2007
Invoice 2 Baseline date 08.02.2008
Invoice 3 Baseline date 15.02.2008
I have set up a payment run for this customer to direct debit their items. In my scenario I only want to pick up the first two invoices.
Therefore I set up the payment run to pick up those items which are due up to 09.02.2009, setting the next payment run posting date to 10.02.2009. I would expect the system to pick up only the first two invoices.
What the system does is that it pays/collects the first two invoices in total, but then selects only the credit items of invoice 3. I would expect it to ignore Invoice 3 altogether.
In another example if I had the same invoices, but invoice 3 did not have any credit items involved, then it does ignore invoice 3 as
expected.
I need to understand why for the credit items within a customer invoice are treated differently in relation to payment terms.

Try changing the credit memo term for 3rd Invoice as such it do not fall in your selection criteria. -
Service Procurement with Multiple Service Line items

We have the following Business Scenario. Request your inputs in addressing this issue.
Business scenario : Most of the Procurement for our client is of services. So, we need to configure services with multiple service line items. This Shopping cart to create PR in ECC. PR to PO conversion to take place in ECC. Now onwards client needs Supplier integration for confirmation of services and sending invoices by Vendor.
Guidance required in the following
1 In Shop functionality if we select services, PR is being created in ECC with only one Service Line item. Whereas if we go for Request functionality, then always it is routing to Bidding process (which is not required for client). Can we create SC with multiple service line items with out request functionality?? Or Can we root the Request functionality with out Bidding process??
2 If we convert the PR to PO in ECC (Classic Scenario), can we go for SUS integration. In such case which is the best way of supplier integration. Can you please guide us on basic steps on installation (can we go for different client in the same server) and configuration.

We suffered the same problem in our company. We have found a way to work with the SRM shopping cart multiple line rollup to ECC single line purchase order.
If the multiple shopping cart line items contain the same location code and cost assignment they will rollup into one ECC purchase order. The system seems to 'think' it is helping you by consolidating your information.
In the Basic Data section of the shopping cart there is a Service line item field. If you enter something in each in that field for each line it will keep it's own line in ECC.
Your implementation may differ slightly from ours but I recommend playing with the location code, cost assignment and Basic Data service line fields until you can see a pattern. Basically you need to find a method to make each line a separate entity so they don't rollup.

how to not create the invoice with net price = zero ( it's not a bug)

1) I can't anticipate if the created invoice will be set to 0 (complex price schema).
2) I want to execute VF04, for these invoices, to clean the VKDFS table.
3) I don't want to delete these invoices if they are set to 0 ( making some holes in the number ranges, forbiden in some countries)

1) Go to the transaction SE37 to find your function module.
2) Locate the function SXV_GET_CLIF_BY_NAME.
3) Put a breakpoint there.
4) Now open a new session.
5) Go to your transaction.
6) At that time, it will stop this function.
7) Double click on the function field EXIT_NAME.
8) That will give you name of the BADI that is provided in your transaction.

Does Oracle E-Biz 11i support intercompany Invoice with a negative line?
We are using Oracle E-Biz GL/AP/AR/FA (Oracle E-Biz 11.5.2.10). Now we are facing this issue: When we create an intercompany Invoice with a negative line it does not generate proper inter-company entries.
For eg:
Invoice Amount 1000 for company1
Distribution:

when transfer to GL process is done following entries are generated.

Also i am facing issues in connecting to sqlplus from applmgr user after the DB characterset change.

I have a problem to post Invoice for Service Entry with many Service line item. The problem is as follow:
I have created 1 Service Entry which has 5 Service line item in it. Three of the service line item are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT), the others aren't. Then, i wanted to post Invoice for the Service Entry, however, it just display 1 item which amount in total. How can i segregate each service line item in Service Entry thus i can post Invoice for all Service line item with subject to VAT and all service item with not subject to VAT, if just 1 Service Entry created for it ?

If you mark the 'service based invoice verification' checkbox in your PO item, your service items will be in your invoice as seperate invoice lines. Then you can modify the taxcodes on service item level.

I have an Concern, My user has created Sales order with three line items.
He did delivery and Invoice individually for each line item.
For 2 line items he entered batch manually and did invoice there we didn't find any issue.
For third line item he did auto batch determination there for that item VPRS condition is missing in invoice.
I have checked the note ( 70038 ) and I have applied the note also, But still I am facing same problem.
Please provide me solution if any modification need to be done,

As VPRS condition type is coming for the first 2 line items and not for 3rd line item , so kindly check the Material Master Record->Accounting tab.What is the difference between the 3rd material and another 1st and 2nd materials.Also check in the Analysis what it is showing for the third line item billing document

Gr Ir Assignment Updation with PO and Line Item
In the GL for GR IR Account the sort key was not maintained with PO number due to which the assigment field in the line item was getting updated with the posting date and not with the PO & LIne Item details.
We have made the requiste changes and new items are getting updated properly.
But require assitance in updating the earlier line items.
As of date total line items are more than 0.15 mn.
Please suggest some method to automatically update the assigment field of the GR IR Line items with the PO Details.

You can use a substitution to update the field through FI. Use GGB4 for wirting a substitution you may need some ABAP coding to substitute PO no and line items in the assignment field. rule would be Co code =XXX and GL account =xxx and Posting date earlier than =xxxx then concatenrate EBELN and EBELP in Assigment field Zounr.
Then execute FBL3N and edit the assignment field by selecting all the documents and then save it you should see the PO line items populated. You can leave the substitution on or you can remove it after updating,

Line item net price not updated in overview screen net price&line item
Hi ,
We have down payment order with 10 line items
In orders with billing plan, the sales line item net price, if we entered manual condition price (ZPNP) ,gets updated in item condition net value. But it does not simultaneously gets updated at once in 1) Sales order overview screen net value 2) Billing plan header 3)Sales order overview screen line item condition net value. Updation at these three places happens only after clicked on header conditions.
However, in case of the last item in the sales order, the updation happens simultaneously in all the 3 places i.e. 1) item condition net value. 2) Sales order overview screen net value 3) Billing plan header 4) Sales order overview screen line item condition net value.
This is also true for the order with only single line item. We are faced a information popup message every time we change the item net price u201CItem 000100(100 is last line item number in sales order) exists already; the entry ignored u201C. This happens in case of all line items except the last line item. Also this does not happen in case where there is a single line item in order.
Our requirement: The moment the net price of an item is change manually, it should get updated at all the 4 places mentioned above like it does in case of the last line item.
Kindly help me to fix this problem.

Explanation of the issue: First the contract is created for the freight and insurance for vendor say V1. Then the PO is created for the material for vendor V2. In the PO line item the freight and insurance is specified in different condition types. When specifying the cost for the freight and insurance they want to link it with the contract that was created with vendor V1. Is it possible to link the contract for freight and insurance with the PO line item cost?

Urgent : Confirmation and invoice number of a line item of a Shopping cart
I have developed an end to end report in SRM which gives us an end to end report of a shopping cart .
I have got the Shopping Cart details using FM : BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL
for each item of the shopping cart in the table E_ITEM , getting the Po number for it from E_ITEM- BE_OBJECT_ID
I called FM BBP_BE_PO_GETHISTORY to get the Confirmation and Invoice number from E_HEADER_REL of BBP_BE_PO_GETHISTORY.
But this function module gives me the confirmation and invoice number of a particular purchase order and
I am stuck here as I need to find out the confirmation and invoice number of a line item and I am not finding a link between them .
I tried using FM BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL ,
BBP_PD_PO_GETLIST
BBP_PD_PO_DOC_FLOW and other function modules also , however they give me the confirmation and invoices o a particular PO but I am not able further drill down to find confirmation and invoivce of a particular line item of a shopping cart ..
Please let me know if there is a way to find this out ????

I was able to get a link using the function module BBP_PD_SC_GETDETAIL . in the tables E_item has fields BE_OBJ_ITEM and the BE_OBJ_ITEM which give the po number and po line item number of each line item .
then i used BBP_BE_PO_GETHISTORY Fm to get the history of the po and read the line item history based on the BE_OBJ_ITEM no .

How to not select an invoice if a certain line item type is present?
Hi,
I've created a report that lists all invoices that have a particular line item type on it. For example, I wanted to produce a revenue report by item type, "P-Tank". So, the invoice table links to the invoice line items table. Each line item record has a "resource id" on it. The resource id links to the resource type table. So, if invoice #8 has, say, three line items and one of them has a resource type of "P-Tank" then I report on it. Basically, I'm making a report grouped by Resource ID and the Resource ID must by of Resource Type 1, 2 or 3. So, this report I've solved.
Now, I want to report on those invoices that do not have either a resource type 1, 2 or 3 item on it. If I use a formula:
"Not ({resource_type.resource_type_id} in [1, 2, 3]) that doesn't work because it just omits the line item that is of resource type 1, 2 or 3....but still leaves the invoice on the report with the other line item types. * I want to identify any and all invoices that do not have either a line item resource type 1, 2, or 3 on it.*

That didn't seem towork. I'll simplify the example to see if we can find the answer easier this way.
I'm using two tables: invoice; and invoice_items
An invoice can have many items on it.
I don't want my query to select any invoices that have a Tank item on it (Tank has a resource id = 8).
So, I'll join the invoice table to the invoice_items table:
invoice.invoice_id = invoice_items.invoice_id.
The result set looks like the following:
Invoice # Invoice Item # Invoice Resource ID
22 1 8
22 2 9
23 1 5
So, because Invoice #22 has a line item with resource id = 8 on it I do not want Invoice #22 to appear on the report at all, regardless of what other items and resource id's are on it.
I have tried joining the two tables in every manner (e.g. inner, outer, not enforced, enforced, etc) and even when I put the condition, invoice_items.resource_id <> 8, it still brings up Invoice #22 but just omits the one line item and leaves the record with resource id 9 (in the example above). I don't want Invoice #22 to appear at all in the report.

Does anybody know how to change FI document with G/L line items (fields like XREF3, SGTXT, ZUONR - generally speaking, all the fields can be changed with FB02)?
FM FI_DOCUMENT_CHANGE has needed functionality and works well for account payables and account receivables line items, but it doesn't handle general ledger line items.

The function has some mandatory fields to use:
I_AWTYP -> get value from BKPF-AWTYP for the specific document;
I_AWREF -> number of the document to change;
I_AWORG-> concatenate document's company with respective year;
Then, only one of the following fields should be filled:
i_lifnr,
i_kunnr,
i_obzei,
i_buzei.
You can find the relevant data for this fields in BSEG.
The structure I_BSEGC should be filled with data you think appropriate. I didn't tested it, but i think the first fields are sufficient.
Then, add lines (1 for each field you wish to change) in table T_ACCCHG.
However, you should notice that you're not allowed to change all fields. For instance, KKBER is one of the fields that is forbidden to change in this FM.
