Need to trim leading digits for DB Lookup - UCCX 7
Currently have a UCCX script that will be performing a DB lookup based on ANI, however, I've noticed that when my ANI comes in it is prefaced with a "91". Rather than try and reconfigure what the gateway is accepting, I am wondering if it is possible to strip those 2 digits with Java language before sending it into the DB Read step using a Set command...I'm not too familiar with Java coding...Is this possible?

You can insert some Java for this... try something like this in a 'do' step (yourvariable swapped for your string var name containing ANI):

I have a cinema sound receiver connected to Apple TV via optical cable. When I have dolby digital set to Auto it doesn't come through as dolby digital when watching movies on netflix and iTunes (home movies).
If I set Dolby Digital to ON it works as expected, but the sound stops working through normal TV speakers (via HDMI). This is the same for netflix and home movies.
I tried 16 bit setting, but it made no difference.
Any advice on how I can get this working - meaning Dolby Digital always on for when I turn my surround sound on and sound through speakers for normal operation?
Obviously I can change the setting when needed, its just a pain.

This is not an official driver, there is no control panel for Dolby Digital Plus or various sound effects, but tested and has much better and richer surround sound quality as before with factory driver. I guess, this driver tweak can work with any Bay Trail tablet also.
How can you upgrade Encore sound drivers:
1. Download signed driver package and extract.
2. Open Device Manager.
3. Upgrade your Sound, Video and game controllers
- Intel SST Audio Device
- Realtek I2S Audio Codec
one by one with "Have a disk" method.
4. Double click enabledolby.reg file and add to your registry.
5. Restart, and enjoy better sound quality.

For Example.
If the value is = 0.00 then my Target value should be = 000000000000.00

I have a Western Digital external hard drive that needs to be re formatted for use on my iMac, but I do not want to lose existing data, is this possible ?
Formatting a disk always erases all the data on it. Your only option is to back it up elsewhere and restore it once formatted.

Do I even need an analog to digital converter for old VHS?
I'm just trying the most cost effective way to transfer all of my old VHS & HI-8 material to a digital format for better preservation. Since, why I do not know, PE doesnt allow for analog capture, I need a converter like Dazzle to get my analog source to digital. Or do I?? Can I not just use Windows Movie Maker to capture then import into PE? Doesnt my capture card do convert?? I have my VCR hooked up via S-video to the card. Is the card not the same thing as an external converter? I just want to know the best way so I dont waste my time only to have to go back and redo everything. Thanx yall
Thanx y'all. Thats where I'm a bit confused. You mentioned "quality DV-AVI". I'm under the assumption that when I capture an analog signal that I set at 720x480 is a "quality DV-AVI". After I have captured and rendered to an .avi file I then import that into PE. Is that what you are meaning? Or is that an inferior quality video file? The capture card I have is a Legacy capture card that came with Pinnacle Studio ver 9. Pinnacle is a great intro level editor, but it sucks because it's slow, unstable and captures out of sync audio which I have to go in and manually sync. I shouldnt have to do that. I'll spend $100-$200 if thats what I have to do to get the results I want. I'm not looking for HD quality here. I simply want to capture all my old analog media, edit it, and burn to DVD and keep on my HD to preserve it all. I want it to be the same quality as it appears on its original medium.I also want to continue to edit and burn stuff using my Mini DV camera as well. I just want an editor thats above intro level, but not as complex as Premieire Pro. I feel that PE will do the job well. My capture card has S-video, firewire & composite inputs. Is my card not what I'm needing?? Or, do I need an analog to digital converter to get the analog material into a raw digital format thats the same quality as the original?
To help in my endeavors i recently upgraded and built anew PC so that I would have no problems, seeing that video editing does tax a computers resources. My new build is a Quad core 4 gb of RAM system. So my computer power should not be an issue for home editing and what not. -

I need to trim the leading zeroes from my field.
Eg: I am taking the field length as 6, but if my value is only of 4 digits then its coming as 004216.
I need this value to be 4216 only.
I cant change the field length to 4 as there may be values that may be more then 4 upto 6 digits.

Good Day. I am requesting this qwery on behalf of my company. We are working on SAP ECC 6.0 and the New G/L functionality is activated and additional non leding ledger have been defined for IFRS reporting for some of the company codes rolled out subesequently.
Duriing the implementation , IFRS ledger was not defined for some of the company codes at that point of time. Is it feasible to define the Non leading ledger for IFRS reports now.
If it is possible, how to migrate the opening balance to this ledger. What are the other challanges involved, if we activate the non leading ledger now.

You need to consider this as a separate project and must prepare and execute this project with the utmost care to ensure accounting is still in order following the activation.
You have to structure accounts and already posted line items of the subsequently implemented ledger, in addition to

My requirement is to use the External number for the Handling Units provided by vendor.That number starts with 2digits"00"+18 for Example:00123456789123456789
I am Using HU_VEKP Object for no range and maintaining
External No Range From 00000000000900000000 to 00000000000999999999.
But When i am giving Number 00000000000900000001 its only taking
900000001.
Kindly suggest me the right way to take leading zeros.

But the prefix zeros has meaning for identifying the Handling unit Functionality.In realtime IF prefix contains Say "0000" it refers to carton
If prefix contains say "0010" it refers to pallet.
So i need to satisfy there requirement.For example If it is for material number we can maintain In OMSL by check box of leading zeros.
But i am not able to find any setting for this Handling units.U can check this object HU_VEKP in SNRO tcode where i am maintaining Number range.

My client wants to implement IFRS accounting wef 1 April. They already have couple of non-Leading Ledgers operational. Please confirm if the creation of a new non-Leading Ledger for IFRS would serve the purpose. Is it in anyway different from creation of other non-Leading Ledgers for US-GAAP, UK-GAAP ? Also, I would like to know what are all the points to be taken care of while implementing IFRS accounting standard.
Any documentation which would augment for the IFRS implementation in SAP will be of help.
