NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound when connecting to my AMS

When I try and connect to the video on my AMS using Flash and AS3 I keep getting NetStream.PLay.StreamNotFound
The exact same video streams on the AMS home page.
I can stream from http://www.helpexamples.com/flash/video/cuepoints.flv but nothing from own server in flash.
Here is my code with the IP Address removed
import flash.media.Video;
var video:Video = new Video();
this.addChild(video);
var mNetConnection:NetConnection=new NetConnection();
mNetConnection.connect(null);
var mNetStream:NetStream=new NetStream(mNetConnection);
video.attachNetStream(mNetStream);
mNetStream.play("rtmp://000.000.000.000/vod/mp4:sample1_1500kbps.f4v");
mNetStream.client=this;
mNetStream.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, onNetStreamStatusEvent);
mNetStream.addEventListener(SecurityErrorEvent.SECURITY_ERROR, securityErrorHandler);
function onNetStreamStatusEvent(event:NetStatusEvent):void
     if (event.info.code == "NetStream.Play.Start")
          trace("NetStream.Play.Start");
     if (event.info.code == "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound")
          trace("Video Not Found");
     if (event.info.code == "NetStream.Buffer.Full")
function onMetaData(metadata:Object):void
function securityErrorHandler(event:SecurityErrorEvent):void {
     trace("securityErrorHandler: " + event);

Ok founbd a way to adjust the code to work with a f4v file over rtmp.
However I am still not able to stream from an f4m. Can someone help?
import flash.media.Video;
var nc:NetConnection = null;
var video:Video = null;
var mNetStream:NetStream = null;

this.addChild(video);
nc=new NetConnection();
nc.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.NET_STATUS, onNetStatus);
nc.connect("rtmp://000.000.000.000/vod");

     if( event.info.code == "NetConnection.Connect.Success" )
          mNetStream=new NetStream(nc);
          video.attachNetStream(mNetStream);

  • Local video file (.mp4) file not play in MAC OS using netstream (NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound)

    I have developed adobe air application using adobe flash builder 4.6 for Windows and Mac OS. Application allow user to download movie (.mp4) file in his system at specific location for play  without live streaming. File downloading correctly in both OS and also file playing from download location in Window application correctly. but when start playing file Mac OS application not start playing.
    When start playing in mac OS, NetStatusEvent.Net_Status event return "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound" event info code. I have found one solution for mac OS is use colon notation instead of slash notation. I have tried it but it also not working.
    Code:
    _nc = new NetConnection();
    _nc.addEventListener(NetStatusEvent.Net_Status, connectionHandler);
    _nc.connect(null);
    private function connectionHandler(event:NetStatusEvent):void
         trace("Connection to server: " + event.info.code);
         /// Get "NetStream.Play.StreamNotFound" code in mac OS.
    slash notation path: /Users/mayur/Downloads/myvideo.mp4
    Colon notation path: I have tried following colon notation path
    1) :Users:mayur:Downloads:myvideo.mp4
    2) Users:mayur:Downloads:myvideo.mp4
    3) Macintosh HD:Users:mayur:Downloads:myvideo.mp4 (Macintosh HD - Drive name)
    Please help me to solve this issue.

    Finally I found a solution...
    The problem is that AIR on Android stores the application data in the protected directory /data/... which is not accessible by StageWebView (or any browser app).
    So you have to copy the video file you want to play to a temporary pubic directory on the sd-card for example and use this in StageWebView.
    You also have to create a temporary html-page with the video-tag and load this page in StageWebView (not the string) because external resources are only loaded in StageWebView when using an URL.
    On iOS the application storage directory is readable for StageWebView so you don't have to do this step.
    Hope this helps

  • I cannot play music when connect to stereo via 30-pin connector. Help?

    Since I first upgraded my iPod Touch 2nd Gen to iOS 4.x, I cannot play music when connect to external speakers via the 30-pin connector. I've tried several different speaker systems, but none work. My iPod freezes after making my song selection and doesn't do anything until after rebooting. Even then, it just goes through the same cycle if I select another song. My iPod is 100% functional until I try to plug it in to an external speaker system.
    Keep in mind that it worked up until iOS 3.1.3.

    Sounds like iOS 4 broke the compatibility with your accessory, something that sometimes happens with major OS changes. Your only hope is to see if the accessory manufacturer has an update to make it compatible with iOS 4, or downgrade your Touch back to 3.1.3.

  • IPod nano plays only when connected to PC

    My nano is a 3rd, I think. I bought it from Apple's iPod website 2 years ago. I was using the iPod on a Harley-Davison plugged into the iPod connection of a Jenson Marine radio. I had it in a little rubbery protecting case. This pas week I had to ride in the rain. While the iPod was protected from the rain moisture built up inside the case. Now it will play only when connect to the PC.
    When it is connected to the PC everything works normal. ITunes does not need to be running, only it needs to be connected via the USB. I plug the speakers directly into the iPod and it work normally. But, when I un plug it, it dies. Not only does it quit playing but none of the keys are active. It is just DEAD. The display remains as it was but not moving. Of course I have reloaded factory defaults and started all over. But it is dead if not connected via USB 04/01/09
    port.
    Hopefully someone can help. It was a $300 unit. I sure don't want to have to buy another.
    thanks,
    wayne

    It sounds like a battery issue to me. When you connect it to the PC it draws power from the computer and thus it is able to function. Apparently it doesn't have enough of its own juice anymore. You probably just need a new battery.

  • My ipod classic has started making a mewing sound and all it does is scroll through the songs.  It will not play except when connected to my computer.  I tried resyncing and that did not work. How do I fix this problem?

    My ipod classic has started making a mewling sound and all it does is scroll through the songs.  It does not play on my Bose sound dock or through earbuds.  It will play when connected to the computer...but that makes it hard to take it on a walk with me   I thought it might be a synching problem so tried that--still doesn't work.  How do I fix this problem with out restoring it to the factory setting?  I do not want to lose all my music content as some of it I cannot replace easily.  Please help with suggestions and advice. Thanks.  Karen in GA

    Have you recharge your iPod for at least 2 hours, preferably till the Full charge Battery symbol comes ON.?

  • How do I configure my bluetooth on my iPod Touch 4G to automatically play music when connected and to connect as media not a phone?

    Is there any way to have my iPod Touch automatically start playing music when it connects to my car stereo via Bluetooth?
    Also, I would like the option to connect to my car stereo as media only and not as a phone. My car stereo supports the ability to connect to a phone via Bluetooth simultaneously with another device such as my iPod Touch as a media source. The problem is that if my iPod Touch connects first it will force out my phone from connecting via Bluetooth since it connects as a phone as well as media. I have been able to make this whole setup work by turning both my phone's Bluetooth off and my iPod Touch's Bluetooth off. Then turning my phone's Bluetooth on first and allowing it to connect. Then changing the Bluetooth option on my phone to only connect as phone. Then turning my iPod Touch's Bluetooth on and that works just fine. Both devices respond perfectly but for that to work I have to do that process everytime I get into my car. Is there anyway to set this up so I don't have to go through all of this hassle?
    Btw my iPod Touch has been updated to version 4.3.5.
    Any suggestion, comments, or concerns would be helpful.
    Thanks,
    Jon

    If you store itunes andn iphoto library on the TC you could be in trouble. The TC has no auto backup mechanism.. it is simply unable to work as a true NAS. It has no media servers. It is slow.. it is very easy to corrupt libraries especially in connection over wireless. In general we recommend people do not do this.
    If you go ahead anyway.. apple have specific instructions for moving the libraries.. do follow it.
    I am not sure if the SONOS can play directly from itunes library or has to use an itunes server.. remember the TC is a dumb as a board router with no media servers. Apple TV also need an active itunes to work AFAIK.. you cannot play files.. unless you JB the ATV.
    Also be careful as SONOS does not like apple names.. use all SMB compatible names.. short, no spaces pure alphanumeric.
    Finally yes,.. at last .. you can extend the wireless in the TC using another apple router.. you cannot extend wireless using any other brand.

  • NetStream.Play.InsufficientBW when streaming server side playlist

    Hi
    I am streaming pre recorded audio files (mp4) to an AIR client. I have tried two different solutions,
    streaming the file directly with the NetStream.play("mp4:xxxxx.m4a") and creating a server side playlist, adding the
    same sound clip and then streaming the playlist. The problem is, when streaming the playlist i get a few NetStream.Play.InsufficientBW, this does not happen when streaming the file direct. Both solutions uses bufferTime=1.0
    I would like to use a server side playlist to implement a simple key solution so that the client dont know the full path to
    the file, but instead sends a key to a custom server side function that looks up the file path and creates a stream for the client.
    TIA

    Subscribing via playlist and playing file directly are two different things , as first one is live mode of play while other is playing recorded file - so the way streams are delivered are also quite different. Can you try setting higher buffer and see if that helps or if you don't want to set higher buffer, see if disabling AggregateMessages (you will find the tag in Application.xml under Live/Queue) helps

  • Getting lots of "NetStream.Play.InsufficientBW" when there's plenty of Bandwidth

    Hi All,
    We've upgraded our production servers to 3.5.3 on Windows 2008, and now I'm seeing a lot of "NetStream.Play.InsufficientBW" statuses in our client app's log.  The server is streaming a very low bandwidth live video/audio stream, and the client has more than plenty of bandwidth to play it.  The stream doesn't exhibit any audio drops or skipped frames, and there are no message drops on the server side.  We have had clients complaining of random disconnects.  Does anyone know why I might be getting this message?  If anyone from Adobe could help with this, I'd greatly appreciate it.  Thank you.
    Best,
    -Costin

    Hi Asa,
    Thanks for the reply!
    Unfortunately, I already had this in my Application.xml and it was still doing it:
         <Queue enabled="false">
    Any other work arounds at this time?
    In addition, I'm getting reports that users are getting disconnected.  After some arbitrary time, the server issues a "NetConnection.Connect.Rejected" for no reason, or at least none that I can find.  Is this also a known issue?  Please advise, since this is happening on our production systems.  Should I roll back to 3.5.2?
    Thank you!

  • IPod Touch 4th gen after updating to IOS 6.0.1 no longer plays sound when connected to a JVC KW-AV60BT through USB port.

    It used to work fine, but now when you plug in to the USB, it properly identifies the head unit in settings>General>About, and the JVC unit displays album art, track info and scrolls through music fine, but no sound comes through the speakers. I've tried to reset all settings on the iPod, I've tried the reset on the head unit, even disconnected the vehicle battery and nothing changes. I can also add that my sisters iPhone 4S on IOS 6.0.1 also performs the same when connected. I've tried my Touch in the USB port of my 2010 Chevy truck and that works fine. oh, and an MP3 player worked proper with the JVC USB port.

    - Try resetting the car system if you can.
    Sometimes this works
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    However. sometimes an iOS update breaks compatibility. In that case you will have to wait for a firmware update to either the care system or the iPod.

  • Cannot play DVDs when connected to TV

    Hi guys,
    I have a first generation Titanium PowerBook G4 (400MHz). Still using System 9.2.
    Anyway, the DVD player works fine in the notebook by itself. When I connect to my Sony Wega through a S-video cable, I can see the desktop but the DVD player won't fire up. Keeps giving me an error message about thr video card not supporting the resolution or something like that (Sorry, I cannot be more precise. It happened late last night).
    This is the first time I have tried to connect the Powerbook to a TV, so I don't know whether I am doing anything wrong. I tried playing around with the resolution, but that did not seem to solve the problem. Also any recommendations of what audio cord I should be using to connect to my audio inputs on the TV.
    Thanks in advance.
    Rajneesh

    Rajneesh,
    I have tried to use the Titanium Powerbook G4, running 9.1, to play DVDs on a TV. One of the posts said this may not be a good idea, so maybe you don't want to do this, but here is my experience.
    I was using my mother's computer, and I don't have it with me, so I can't double-check that what I think worked was actually what did work, but I can tell you what I did and how far I got with it.
    Like you, I was able to get the desktop on the TV. I could either mirror it (so the laptop and the TV had the same desktop) or use it the TV to extend the Mac desktop.
    I got the message you mention when I fired up the DVD. I trried changing the resolution, and I thought I got it to
    work that way, but later it seemed not to work. Then I got it working by turning off the mirroring. So when the two screens were separate, not mirrored, the DVD would play.
    I wish I could tell you that it played on the TV, but it didn't. Because my mother was so impatient with me and the computer at this point, I gave up fiddling and we just watched the DVD. But I think that with a little more fiddling, I could have moved the DVD picture over to the TV (for example, maybe I could have just grabbed it and moved it to the TV).
    Good luck to you,
    Nancy

  • Media Center Keeps playing audio when connected to HDMI

    I have LCD TV connected to may laptop.
    The media center keeps playing audio sound when the HDMI sound output is enable.
    Laptop: CQ35-214TX
    OS: Windows 7

    This is one of the BIGGEST reasons why I would want to take my PC and chuck it into the nearest heavily traveled lane of traffic and watch it get completely destroyed by any vehicle that runs over it then go buy a MAC. The idiocy involved in doing such a simple task is revolting.
    FIrstly, and in no way am I directing my ire at you specifically, I have already performed almost everything you have listed for me to try... PREVIOUS to me posting this cry for help.
    Secondly, I included a screen shot of the sound devices in my first post and indicated that my display driver/device is  Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000. Beyond that, I don't know what you are looking for.
    Thirdly, and most frustrating, the document you told me to "follow every single word of instruction" (which I have previously done) doesn't even tell me to connect the laptop to the TV. It talks about the different kinds of connections but never actually TELLS me to connect the laptop to the TV and WHEN to do it.
    When I connected my laptop to my TV for the first time it never tried to load ANY drivers. HOWEVER, it does show "PANASONIC TV" (the brand of my TV) and the monitor type in the resolution dialog. But it also show no other type of monitor.
    The biggest issue I can see is that there is NO DRIVER LISTED FOR THE HDTV AUDIO in the sound devices. Therefore how could it transmit audio via the HDMI cable since it doesn't seem to even recognize it?
    I am at my wits end. And I have NO INTENTION OF PAYING SOMEONE TO MAKE THIS WORK!!!! There is NO reason why it should not work upon conection of the HDMI cable.
    What the hell is wrong with HP (or any other PC manufacturer - and Microsoft, as well) when the simple task of connecting a laptop to a TV is so complex and convoluted. And, by the way, I am an electrical engineer with multiple degrees... And this doesn't make sense to me!!! For pity's sake, can someone please give me a simple solution to what should be a simple issue??!!

  • Music plays automatically when connecting to car w/USB, and I don't want it to!

    I have an iPhone 4s.  I am using an app call RSS Radio to download and play a podcast to which I subscribe.  I use this frequently in the car, connecting to the car radio with USB.  My music player comes on automatically whenever I conncet the USB cord, and also when the podcast is stopped for any reason.  For example, when reaching the end of the podcast the music comes on.  When the phone rings, the music comes on, and I am unable to hear the caller.  This problem also happens when I am playing the Boggle app...as soon as I open the app, the music comes on.  I have to manually go into the music app and stop the song from playing, or re-start the podcast.  I don't see any settings that let me adjust anything.  Can anyone help me with a way to stop this music from coming on unless I actually go to it and play it intentionally?  Thanks!

    It's been about a year since I asked this question... I hope someone has an answer because it is such an annoying problem!  I have been reluctant to upgrade to iOS7, does anyone think this could solve my problem?

  • Powerpoint wont play video when connected to projector

    Hi,
    I gave a presentation last night on my MacBook Pro (2011), OS X Yosemite, and when I tried to connect the laptop to an external projector all of my videos stopped working!  I had a blank screen and audio only.  What happened? I had a VGA cord for the connection.

    Hi Are you referring  to an external display of some kind? If so, here is what apple says.  http://support.apple.com/kb/PH19039

    Hi i have a bower and wilks zeplin which has worked fine with my ipad and my daughters i phone up until a couple of months ago it plays fine with other devices my old iphone 3 my current i phone 4 i dont think its a os6 problem but i cant be sure has any one any suggestions
    Thanks
    Ohall365

    There could be a Bluetooth implementation problem on your speaker causing the problem or there could be a hardware problem on your iPad. Is the speaker BT 2? The iPad implements BT 4. Although this is upward compatible with BT 2 there are some BT 2 implementations which break compatibility.
    Regarding the hardware, note that BT and WiFi are both handled by the same chip on the iPad. A problem in the chip could affect WiFi as well.
