Network adapters (NIC) doesn't show up in NIC Teaming manager

We have been running Windows Server 2012 R2 for couple of months now with no major problems, but recently had to swap out one of the NICs. Unfortunately interfaces were not removed from Team before it was swapped out and that appears to have screwed up something
in Windows NIC Teaming manager - NICs doesn't appear there anymore. Not even the NICs that were not touched.
Network interfaces appear to be connected, no issues with drivers (screen shot from device manager), but they don't show up in NIC Teaming, any idea how to reset NIC Teaming manager and/or resolve this issue without reinstalling Windows?

Thanks for leading me the right direction!
Looking around I found that one of "invalid class" error causes is corrupted WMI. Using this script provided by MS to Rebuild/Re-register WMI (different case/problem, but WMI is WMI...) resolved the issue with NICs not showing up:

Firefox won't open, and doesn't show up in the task manager.

I have clicked on all the icons available, but none will open the browser.
I do not get an error message.
It does not show up on th task manager.
I have restarted my computer several times but no result.

Well we thought it may be something to do with the way FCP writes all the Sequences that it may have something to do with it, but we have hours and hours of tape that we are editing and we need to work on small sections at a time and we are testing different flows of the edits and save as needs to be used. If FCP can’t handle save as, why do they put it in the program? We are pushing for an hour of video and we are now ready to give up on the HD and just convert it to DV, because of FCP 5.1.4 crashing or just being slow on the G5. The DV stuff is quick and it may be best for us anyway. This thing needs to look rough.
I started with FCP4 and my partner had experience with FCP2 and then we both are now using 5.1.4 and it is doing strange things and he said he was use to doing commercials on FCP2 on a laptop and it was easy…they have so many options and settings it’s no where near the same as FCP2, but we will learn what we need. I know some of it is a learning curve on our end, but as we upgraded our programs the last time, all Apple sent was disk and the only manuals I have are 4.5. and I need info on how best to go from FCP 5.1.4 to compressor then to DVD Studio Pro 4 so we can see how our edits look on DVD. The help menu is not the best I’ve seen and that’s why I am looking to the group.

Lightroom doesn't show up in Cloud Ap. Manager

How do I get the Lightroom to show up in the Application Manager. I have tried numerous times and still nothing.

Got it, just replying to myself. Go to the top of the manager, try signing out then signing in again. I had to use my adobe log in information and then the light room showed up.

SCOM 2012R2 Network Vicinity View doesn't show agent managed PCs

Hello,
Network Vicinity View in my SCOM only shows other network devices+management server, but does not show any agent managed computers, why is that? Or is it supposed to be like that and i'm missing something here?

Things to try in the vicinity view:
Select a node or connection to view details for that node or connection in the
Details view.
Change the levels of connection to be displayed in the diagram by selecting a new value for
Hops in the toolbar.
To include agent computers in the view in addition to network devices, select the
Show Computers check box.
Select a node in the vicinity view. In the Tasks pane, click the option to launch the Network Node dashboard.
To change the central device of the view, select a device, and then click
Vicinity View.

Network Issues / NIC Teaming / iSCSI NIC

My HyperV server has two quad ethernet port cards in it and the first 4 are in a Team with the virtual Switch with a static IP, DNS and Gatway.
The other card has two of 4 nics disabled and two of those nics have a static IP without dns or gateway used for iSCSI multi-pathing.
It is not uncommon for me to log into the HyperV box and find that it has "no internet connection" and after a reboot it may be up for a short while but eventually it fails. Also after a while it will lose time and you cannot RDP to it at all!
I have to physically login to it and reboot it.

For networking, the best practices is make sure there to have more than one network card installed on the physical server and dedicate one network interface to Hyper-V server
administration.

Logging into 'Other' (Server) login doesn't show though bind does

Working on an OS 10.5.6 Advanced server that was set and users were only using AFP, but no DNS and Open Directory. So carefully went through and set these up.The standard testing 'checkhost' and all, shows DNS is working correctly. Client computers had the DNS pointer changed and went through Dirctory Utility and did the binding. Server indicates these computers are bound. One of four client computers works as expected, "Other" shows as a login choice and can log into the server. All the different client accounts work throught this station. Three computers show as Bind being setup, but the "Other" login simply doesn't appear. All but one are running 10.5.6, with one computer running 10.4.11. All three computers that show as bound, can sign in via Go > to the AFP share(s) just fine, only the server/network login doesn't appear. Have checked everything we can think of and need further suggestions on how to resolve this issue? - Lewis

LDAP is indeed listed and home folders have been created in an Auto-Mount directory. Everything appears just like the computers on this network that are binding OK and show an "Other" login. Now I have noticed one thing... every so often when I open Directory Utility - it shows the staus as "nonresponding" with a red dot. If I hit "Connect" it changes to a green OK dot, but upon logout/login the "Other" is still not a choice. Ran Disk Repair, Repair Permissions, re-ran the combo updater of the current system - 10.5.6. Ran the unbind on the computer and removed computer from Workgroup manager... still no joy. Just do not see a way to get a reliable Bind and network login? Bind seems to be happening... but "Other" as a network login just doesn't show.

IPod charges, but doesn't show up as a drive, nor does it show up in iTunes or the Device Manager.

I was given in iPod Touch 8GB (used) for my birthday on the 8th, but I still haven't been able to get any use out of it it. When I plug it into the laptop it charges, but it isn't recognized as a drive, doesn't show up in the Device Manager, and is not recognized by iTunes. I've tried plugging it into a different computer, using a different cord, re-installing drivers, re-installing iTunes - everything! It's also stuck in recovery mode, and I can't do anything to get it out. I've tried restarting it, but it goes right back into recovery mode, telling me to connect it to iTunes. Task manager on windows server 2008 doesn't show the memory from newly installed 2nd CPU

We have a dual processor dell power edge t410 running windows server 2008 (64-bit), standard edition. I have recently added a 2nd xeon x5560 quad-core processor (first one is also x5560 with 32GB (4x8) memory) and 16GB ram (4x4). Seems like the new CPU is
recognized in BIOS, Dell's server admin app and task manager shows 16 vertical boxes (hyper threading is on both cpus) under Performance->CPU Usage History and these boxes show processor load spread relatively evenly across all threads. On the other hand
the additional memory for this CPU is visible in the BIOS, Dell server admin but not in the task manager, which still shows the 32gb under performance->physical memory. Rammap also shows only 32GB.. Currently running proprietary processes that along with
the metafile and windows own ring up nearly 30GB, which in turn causes system latency for GUI and apps, as if the additional 16GB are not there...
So the questions are these:
1) does anybody know why the added memory doesn't show up in the task manager / rammap?
2) if the new memory doesn't show up, does this mean that Windows does not use it (which should be impossible if the CPU is utilized, unless I am wrong about windows using the cpu..)?

Unfortunately this solution is inapplicable to my version of the OS as it is 64-bit and not 32-bit. Do you have any other ideas?

Device center doesn't show "config" options

LMS 3.2.1 device center doesn't show options related to config management, only "Tools" and "Reports"

If that's the case, then the database entries must still be pointing to an old version of RME. The application registration and database records must match exactly for task entries to show in Device Center. You'll need to open a TAC service request (use the Open Service Request link in the Actions panel of this thread), and TAC can walk you through the procedure to modify the database records to point to RME 4.3.2.

NIC teaming shows no adapters (server 2012 R2)

I think you are almost to the point of nuke and pave to fix the issue. (well not totally yet).
What I would do is go into the device manager and remove all physical network adapters. Reboot and then let windows redetect and add them. This should fix the network communication issue.
With that done, you need to answer what Rod-IT asked, how are you teaming these NICs? Are you using the computer manufacturer's program, the network adapter manufacturer's program or something else? Once you get beyond that what type of teaming are you trying to setup fail over (hot spare), LACP, switch assisted load balancing. Some load balancing settings need you to change the switch settings too.
Also what brand of NICs are these?

I have a server 2012 R2 system and on the NIC teaming it shows no adapters and windows network and sharing center shows none as well.
I do not want to have to reinstall :( I've tried rebuilding wmi repository and it doesn't work)

Network users doesn't show up on snow leopard client

Hello,
I am having a weird problem with my snow leopard client that won't show a list of the network users.
The server is a open directory server and other snow leopard client can show the list of the network users on login screen except one. I've tried different connections via ethernet or via wireless. (I have 2 client set up at the moment, they are exactly the same clone, client #1 show the list of network user but not client #2).
client #2 will immediately recognize the network accounts are available upon start-up but won't show the list. The computers are added to workgroup manager's computer list and is managed but if the network list doesn't show up on the client that makes the client un-managed.
Could anyone kindly give me advise please?

This might be where your problem begins and ends? If you joined client # 1 to OD and then cloned this to create client # 2 then you're probably going to have the problems you're seeing?
If you want all your workstations to be the same it's best to remove any references to any LDAP Server as well as any TGTs. It's also a good idea to give each client workstation unique names prior to joining an LDAP Directory after they've been imaged. You can create a NetBoot Image with an associated workflow that will define unique names as well as join an LDAP Directory as Post Install actions.

If the HD is setup for Mac and plugged into the AE.. with file sharing on, it should work.
Try manually mounting the disk.
In finder use go, connect to server, and type in AFP://AEName or AFP://AEIPaddress.. where you replace what I wrote with the actual name or actual IP.
Later versions of Mac OS.. like ML for some strange reason have their preferences set by default to not show network drives.. change finder preference to see everything.

VM Networks missing, doesn't show up the VM Networks - SCVMM 2012 R2
