New BT Homehub 3 Unable to access Sony video unlim...

Since receiving my new homehub 3 I am unable to use video unlimited on my sony media player. Everything else is ok, i player, you tube, music unlimited etc. Even the video unlimited homepage comes up, but when I try and buy or preview a film the message 'The Network is Down message appears. Everything was fine with my old hub and Sony say there is no problem and to contact BT but I thought I would try all you guys first. Thanks. Tel

I use the Sony video with out problem and have been watching a video today so the network appears OK. Have you checked you can access your account via your PC or laptop.

Unable to access external video file after publishing in html5

I am trying to publish a project that contains links to external files (.mp4 videos). After publishing, I get an path error message when I try to run the videos after publishing. The references to the videos are by name without any paths specified.
When I published the file the videos reside in the same folder as the captivate project file.
The instructions say copy the files to the output folder after I publish as html5.
What I did was extract the zip folder
Place the videos in the parent folder after extraction.
Ran the project. It runs except for the video execution.
There are a number of folders when the zip file is extracted.
Am I placing the videos in the right folder?

I personally prefer to get my files up on the server and link directly to them in Captivate.
Are you putting your's in the root folder of your project? eg. /projectname/... instead of/projectname/callees/ ?

Macbook thinks it is abroad! - Unable to access UK Video content!

I would really appreciate your help!
I went to Portugal with my Macbook and tried to view MSN UK Video content in Safari. Understandably, it said I needed to be in the UK to view the content.
However, now I am here and back in the UK and the site still comes up with the same message thinking I am abroad!
I have reseted Safari and tried Firefox and it works in neither. Therefore I think there is something on my Mac or some setting that has changed to make sites believe I am still abroad?
Any idea how to fix this?

You may need to play with your network settings: System Preferences > Network
For most people, the correct location to choose is called Automatic. If you select this and go into Advanced then the TCP/IP page should show "Using DHCP".
If you have a standard set up with a wireless router, then your IP address should be 192.168.x.x and your router should also be 192.168.x.x but with a different final number(s).
Unfortunately, it's difficult to be specific because there are so many variations.

It's possible there's a cookie still present, but if you reset Safari and chose to remove all cookies and history, it should be gone. If you didn't do that, then you should, and test it again.

Also when I apply the safety copy it only imports the app the phones have had in common, so none of the apps that only the iPhone 4 had doesn't come in, only the ones I and the iPhone 4 has had in common. So you say the only way I can use the Apple ID to download on the old iPhone 4 is if I delete the apps that are in the phone and then download them again? How will that change the ID to download/update from. Won't it still have mine to update/download from?

Unable to access restricted rooms

Recently we have configured multiple domains on portal, we are able to access all room fucntionality from old domain but from new domain we are unable to access restricted rooms neither a owner nor a member.
We are getting room name and this is your first visit. Any idea ? full points will be awarded for the right answer.

Touchsmart Iq506t Windows 7, Unable to acess s-video input from windows media center.

System: Hp Touchsmart IQ506T
Windows 7
Avermedia (A327) Hybrid mini Pcie Tv Tuner (NTSC/ATSC)
I purchase this system used without an operating system. I installed windows 7 and downloaded the drivers from Hp. All drivers are installed properly and the Avermedia (A327) mini card driver can be seen in device manager.
Yet, the A327 tv tuner will not give me access to the s-video input. I can get tv thru the rf connection but I want to use the s-video because it has a cleaner signal.
Any information about the s-video port will be appreciated..

I understand you are having an issue with the Touchsmart Iq506t with Windows 7, unable to access s-video input from Windows Media Center.
I read from your post that drivers are installed properly and the Aver media mini card drivers are seen in device manager.
I was wondering if the any of the drivers in Device Manager have a Yellow caution?
Also, is the Touchsmart Iq506t software all up to date?

If you have given correct info about you ios 6.1.3 - all you need to do is delete account. You will be able to sign in with new one afterwards. Make sure you don't delete any info when you see those prompts.

Why am I unable to access my new Post Office Account they state that you will not allow and I will have to use Internet Explorer why?

I have just opened a new account with the Post Office but I am unable to access this on the net. Telephoned Customer Services but say that I will not be able to access through Firefox and will have to use Internet Explorer. Going back to Internet Explorer is not something I want to do because I like Firefox, please explain why Firefox is blocking access if this is true. I have clicked 'allow' but it made no difference and the only message coming up is "timed-out" when I have been much less than 5 mins putting security details. Please advise. Paula

I doubt if Firefox is blocking access. More than likely, that website is made to use ActiveX, or other proprietary Microsoft code, that only Internet Explorer can handle.
If you post the address of that "Post Office" website, maybe one of us support helpers can figure out the exact reason for that.
