New Deployment for Enterprise

I have a project to develop, and I want to do in APEX.
What are the tips you give me? Where to start?
thanks

This looks like the web app does not resolve the ejb reference properly. I suspect there is a mismatch on jndi name mapping.
Could you show the snippet of web.xml and sun-web.xml of how this web app reference this ejb, i.e. the <ejb-ref> element.
And also the portion of ejb-jar.xml and sun-ejb-jar.xml of how this ejb is declared in global jndi name space, i.e. the <ejb> element.

  • How do I create a new emkey for Enterprise Manager Database Control?

    Hi,
    I just installed 11gR2.
    I am evaluating it.
How do I create a new emkey for Enterprise Manager Database Control?
I tried various combinations of this command:
    emctl config emkey
I did find a probable bug:
$ emctl config emkey -emkey -emkeyfile emkey.ora -force -sysman_pwd he11ow0rld

    Again,
How do I create a new emkey for Enterprise Manager Database Control?
I do have a copy of my old key but it is no longer good because I reinstalled the repository with these commands:
    emca -repos drop ...
    emca -repos create ...
Oh, and where is emctl "documented".
I poked around in some book-index links and with the search engine.
    I could not find anything.
    Thanks,

  • How do I lock down the new iPAD for enterprise use?

We are planning to purchase iPADs for Enterprise and give it to a certain department. I would like to know if there is a way to lock it down the iPADs so that individual users can not download any apps on it other than what the IT team puts on the iPADs.
Thank you for your help and for our time,
    Adana01

You will have to go to settings - restrictions - on each iPad and disable app installation.
They will not be able to install apps unless they know the restrictions access password.

  • New Applications for enterprise use

I'm not sure if this question has been posted so here we go.
I'm thinking of creating a application for my client (Large company). I'm being very careful because I want to have some of the secured data from my clients enterprise environment on the iPad. I need to know if anyone out there's done this before, and if so, do you have a intermediate between the clients environment and the ipad, maybe a cloud server or something? If I can figure this out, then I can create lots of applications for this client, as long as we have a secure way of getting the data to the ipad and iphone. Anyone out there done this before?
MBA, MBP, iMac Mac OS X (10.6.4) iPhone 4, iPad, Macbook Pro, Macbook Air, iMac

  • New Deployment of Exchange Server 2013.

    Hello All,
    Good Day !!
We are planning to install Exchange 2013  Mailbox and Client Access on single server ( Windows Server 2012 Standard).
Currently Active Directory roles runs on windows server 2008R2 Sp1.
Its a new deployment for exchange as currently we are using Godaddy email server ( Can we migrate all our emails from Go daddy to our exchange Server).
Also confirm  current active directory will support the installation and deployment of Exchange Server 2013.
How much HDD, RAM and  CPU cores are required to support exchange Server Mailbox and Client Access roles( Users are 30 ).
How many Static IP's and SSl certificates are required for exchange.
Atlast as i said its new deployment please suggest if anything else is missing from my end.

    Hello,
I recommend using professional cheat-sheet articles for Exchange 2013 sizing:
    http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2013/planning-architecture/exchange-2013-sizing-cheat-sheet-part1.html
    http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2013/planning-architecture/exchange-2013-sizing-cheat-sheet-part2.html
The server's requirements depend on many factors ie. number of emails received/sent, mailboxes sizes etc.
In addition your AD environment's level supports Exchange 2013 deployment. You will need only prepare your schema and forest for Exchange installation. You will need also at least one public IP address and SSL certificate for that server.
    Hope it helps,

  • New Server for 1:1 Deployment?

Could anyone give me some advice on what the best course of action is???
I have a Snow Leopard Server along with a collection of 100+ Bootcamped MBP using Snow Leopard & Win 7. We looking at deploying over 300+ iPad's but I know that at least 1 piece of software is not compatible with Mavericks Server. After watching several clips on YouTube and surfing Google, I like the idea of using Profile Manager and configurator to add to the existing small deployment of iPad's. Other (yearly subscription) MDM's would cost too much. For the size of my new deployment I now want to remotely manage the iPad's as there are not enough hours in the day to indivdually administer all the iPad's and carts I manage. I don't have the time to sit down and take apart my mac server to evaluate which apple & 3rd party admin software packages would still function (and how much it would cost to upgrade them otherwise) correctly with an upgrade to Mavericks server. We can't afford to take down one of our servers just so that I can mess around with it or test out a new server build in one of our busiest times of the year (for some of our users).
Could someone experienced with the new Mavericks server answer some of my concerns:
Would a second new dedicated mac mini server be capable of handling over 300 iPad's or would I be better asking my management for a bigger piece of kit?
Will I still need a mac with configurator to periodically update the iPad's with iOS upgrades, or does Profile Manager do this currently(or plan to in the future)?
    Thanks

At the moment Profile Manager does not let you force an upgrade to a specific or latest iOS version. The only way to do this is to connect a device via USB to a Mac running Apple Configurator, you can have multiple devices connected via USB at the same time and do them in bulk.
Yes Profile Manager on a Mac mini can cope with 300+ iPads.

  • Unable to find the default new form for list mylist1 - deploying the list instance via module feature

    hi,
am facing a problem deploying a list instance via a feature,
I created the list in the UI with content and views.
Exported the site template as WSP.
Imported into Visual Studio the list instance, pages module and property bags.
    Copied into my new solution.
Deploy list instance as a site-collection level scoped feature.
    activated the below features :
    mylist_ModulesFeature
    mylist_ListInstancesFeature
    mylist_PropertyBagFeature
List deploys fine with content and views. However, I receive the following error when trying to add a new item: “Unable to find the default new form for list”. The same applies for editing items.

  • Enterprise Deployment for Hosted Devlopment and Production

We are moving from a 11G dev environment to 11g production. We chose Installation scenario#3: Enterprise Deployment for Hosted Development and Production so we could scale out the load to multiple servers. I am at the point now where I need to load my repostory and webcat(dashboard files) and I want to make sure I understand what needs to be done.
Do I load my Repository and Webcat directory on the first node and it deploys it automatically to the 2nd node or are there other steps to do this.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I thought about that possibility, but since in the Apple website I read that
"Deploy proprietary, in-house applications to authorized users in your company, the iPhone Developer Enterprise Program is available to companies with 500 or more employees and a Dun & Bradstreet number."
Since I'm freelancer,I don't have 500 employees, neither the Dun & Bradstreet number.
Can I subscribe to the program in the same way?
Also, if I subscribe the Enterprise program, I can also develop and publish "normal" apps for the iTunes, or do I need to have another subscription?
Best regards and thanks for the fast answers

  • Export for Enterprise Deployment

I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet, but is there a way to package a Flash app for iPad/iPhone for enterprise deployment? Apple does this with their XCode development tool. It's always the common sense stuff that Adobe leaves out and never has any information on.
    Thanks.
    Nathan

Have you found out the solution yet?  I am faced with the same issue and need to deploy to a client ASAP.  I need to know what the publishing setting would be: Debug, Ad-Hoc, or App store. I thing that the App store one should be used. I will be giving my client both a debug and an App store version. We will see what happens.

  • New SCCM deployment for 10,000 users, single domain across 2 sites connected with a fast WAN link

    Hi,
I'm looking at rolling out an SCCM 2012 deployment in my environment. We have 10,000 users, a single AD domain, several thousand Windows 7 laptops and desktops, as well as few hundred MAC OS 10.6 devices and we currently use WSUS for updates. We have
2 main sites with the users equally split across the sites and we have an internal PKI.
I'm looking at doing the following:
     - deploying a single primary SCCM 2012 site server (site A)
     - 1 or 2 distribution points in site B
The main things I'm after are:
     - Computer inventory (MAC + Windows)
     - Application deployment (MAC + Windows)
     - Hardware inventory (MAC + windows)
     - Deploy updates (MAC + windows)
     - Remotely power on devices and patch overnight
I'm aiming to setup an SCCM infrastructure and aim to achieve the above in a month.
What I'm not sure about is:
    - if I need a secondary site server?
    - How I should handle WSUS updates ? I don't know if SCCM can leverage the current WSUS infrastructure or whether it's better just to get rid of it and install the WSUS role as part of SCCM?
    - I believe that to enable application deployment for MACs I need to install a PKI certificate on my distribution points. If do I this, presumably all my Windows clients will also connect via HTTPs. Are there any downsides to doing this?
If anyone has deployed a similar setup I'd be keen to hear from them.
    Thanks in advance

    1. WSUS: Be careful here. If you just remove the WSUS policy computers can just revert back to their default setting which would be to connect to the Internet at 3am and automatically install the updates. I've seen this happen on a large site and it is not
pretty. It's better practice to leave the policy in place but to disable automatic updates (or you could change the WSUS server to be your new ConfigMgr WSUS instance - this would have the same effect).
    2. Secondary Sites: It's not uncommon for customers to start without the secondary site and monitor the WAN link for excessive traffic. The secondary site can be introduced afterwards if it is deemed neccessary.

  • Media based deployment for Refresh and New Computer

    Hi ,
I am looking for some pointers for using media based deployment for refresh scenario (xp to Win 7 with USMT) and new computer deployment (without OS).
Setup we have is Configuration manager 2012 R2 integrated with MDT 2013.
I need some pointers on below:
     - Since its winxp to win 7 and its boot images that comes with (ADK 8.1) confi. manager 2012 R2 doesn't support it. Article says we need WINPE 3.1 for such scenario. Since its MDT 2013 (again ADK 8.1 boot images only), how do generate WinPE 3.x for
    MDT based boot image?
    - Since it is going to be 2 deployment scenarios, do i need to have 2 separate TS (one for new computer and 2nd for USMT based deployment for refresh scenaro) or is there anyway to manage both scenarios with 1 TS?
    - If we need to have 2 TS, do we need to have 2 media created or 1 media can have both TS (like in MDT we have selectionprofile with multiple TS and then media created including both TS)
Looking for some options to deal such scenario. Thanks
    Regards,

Two options: 1. In configuration manager on the AW, use the user list tool to add the users domain account and select Webview access permissions. 2. Using standard Microsoft Active Directory tools or the Cisco Domain Manager tool, add the desired AD user account into one of the "WebView" security groups created within the Cisco OU.
