JNA isn't part of the JVM or JRE so you can't expect the JVM to call it.

It sounds like you are seeing some odd performance issues with Logic Pro X. I recommend these troubleshooting steps specifically from the following article to help troubleshoot what is happening:

Verify that your computer meets the system requirements for Logic Pro X

Test using the computer's built-in audio hardware
If you use external audio hardware, try setting Logic Pro X to use the built-in audio hardware on your computer. Choose Logic Pro X > Preferences > Audio from the main menu and click the Devices tab. Choose the built in audio hardware from the Input Device and Output Device pop-up menus. If the issue is resolved using built-in audio, refer to the manufacturer of your audio interface.
Start Logic with a different project template
Sometimes project files can become damaged, causing unexpected behavior in Logic. If you use a template, damage to the template can cause unexpected results with any project subsequently created from it. To create a completely fresh project choose File > New from Template and select Empty Project in the template selector window. Test to see if the issue is resolved in the new project.
Sometimes, issues with the data in a project can be repaired. Open an affected project and open the Project Information window with the Project Information key command. Click Reorganize Memory to attempt to repair the project. When you reorganize memory, the current project is checked for any signs of damage, structural problems, and unused blocks. If any unused blocks are found, you will be able to remove these, and repair the project. Project memory is also reorganized automatically after saving or opening a project.
Delete the user preferences
You can resolve many issues by restoring Logic Pro X back to its original settings. This will not impact your media files. To reset your Logic Pro X user preference settings to their original state, do the following:
In the Finder, choose Go to Folder from the Go menu.
Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
Press the Go button.
Remove the com.apple.logic10.plist file from the Preferences folder. Note that if you have programmed any custom key commands, this will reset them to the defaults. You may wish to export your custom key command as a preset before performing this step. See the Logic Pro X User Manual for details on how to do this. If you are having trouble with a control surface in Logic Pro X, then you may also wish to delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file from the preferences folder.
If you have upgraded from an earlier version of Logic Pro, you should also remove~/Library/Preferences/Logic/com.apple.logic.pro.
Restart the computer.

Reinstall Logic Pro X
Another approach you might consider is reinstalling Logic Pro X. To do this effectively, you need to remove the application, then reinstall Logic Pro X. You don't have to remove everything that was installed with Logic Pro X. Follow the steps below to completely reinstall a fresh copy of Logic Pro X.
In the Finder, choose Applications from the Go menu.
Locate the Logic Pro X application and drag it to the trash.
Open the Mac App Store
Click the Purchases button in the Mac App Store toolbar.
Sign in to the Mac App Store using the Apple ID you first used to purchase Logic Pro X.
Look for Logic Pro X in the list of purchased applications in the App Store. If you don't see Logic Pro X in the list, make sure it's not hidden. See Mac App Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases for more information.
Click Install to download and install Logic Pro X.

Implementing and Exposing a Web Dynpro as a Callable Object

Hi All,
I am new to guided procedures.I am trying to implement and expose webdynpro as a callable object in CE7.1.In the library i found the following steps
In the Component Properties view of the component, open the Dependencies tab page and add the following DCs:
1)GP-CORE ® caf/eu/gp/api/wd (public part GPWebDynproCO)
2)GP-CORE ® caf/eu/gp/api (public part external)
3)ENGFACADE ® engine.security.facade (public part default)
Choose Next and make sure that Design Time and Run Time are selected for each DC, and Build Time is selected for each of the public parts listed above.
But i could not find ENGFACADE ® engine.security.facade (public part default)
Can anyone please help me.

For this we need NWDI otherwise for NWDS sp7, we need to add caf/eu/gp/api files and toplevel dc's externally.
Have you added them or not .(First you try to bring those API files to your local development and then you need to add them to your DC).
After that we need to select them for the development component >DC Meta data> used dc's .Here select
1)caf/eu/gp/api>Dc metadata>Public parts-->external
and
2)caf/eu/gp/api/wd
3)From Local development>SAP_JEE>com.sap.security>api>sda
Along with this you need to select the dependency type.
Once you added API you'll be able to see those under used dc's and check their properties.There whatever dependency's you've selected , they should be enabled TRUE. Otherwise try to edit the used dc's by Right clicking on it and edit Used Dc's properties and make those dependency's like design time,build time and runtime as true.
Make sure that you've added caf/eu/gp/api under library references.(DC properties>WebDynpro references>Library references-->add here and apply them.
Please follow these steps and try to deploy your WD application.I hope you'll be able do it.

Hi, I am researching the possibilities for opening a new HTML
window without toolbars and at a certain size. I have found a bunch
of tutorials and even this guide here at adobe:

I work in Flash 8 and I use Dreamweaver 8.2 (with all the
latest updates). As you know Dreamweaver uses Java Script to
implement Flash into a HTML page. By generating a folder called
Scripts and the file AC_RunActiveContent.js
So I tri the methods described in the above technote. I even
found a guide at kirupa...and at flashkit. I even downloaded an
example file from Flashkit. But any implementation of any of the
methods above in a Flash 8 file implemented with DW does NOT work.
I am not a hardcore programmer. I am more the kind of guy who
finds code that works and moulds it to my purpose. Copy and paste
programming if you may. So its not so easy for me to see why it
wont work and where the problem is. But I do have a suspicion
towards the javascript flash implementation that Dreamweaver does.
So if anyone have guide or tips to how I can use Flash 8 and
DW 8.2 and get flash to open a new HTML window with a certain size
and without scroll or toolbars..that would be GREAT!!

The TechNotes are from the Cold Fusion site at Adobe. I am
not certain, but I think that you need to be using Cold Fusion on
your websites server to be able to use the functions to which you
refer. Again, I am not certain that I am right here, but it could
be a place to start research into the problem.

UWB - How is it Implemented and What is it capable of re: T61

I am interested in finding out if UWB on a T61p can provide the same connectivity as DVI/HDMI to HDTV and HD content to computer monitors.
I have seen various specs regarding UWB but want to find out the true capabilities of UWB (as it exists currently on T61's),
how is it currently implemented, and in particular can it be used as an alternative to a
DVI/HDMI port or cable connection. Also not only can it be done, but will it offer the
same level of quality as HDMI (VGA does not).
Articles on the Internet indicate the UWB spec does have this capability, the question
is, does it exist right now, and how do you connect devices, particularly HD monitors
using UWB to a Thinkpad notebook. For starters can someone simply state an example of an existing device they are connecting to their Thinkpad using UWB. I have been unable to get a definitive answer on this form Lenovo Sales, although have found someone there who is making every effort to find out. Is UWB as it is implemented right now simply a wireless USB transmitter and receiver. If so does USB, i.e. at 480Mbs allow for transmission of HD content at full native resolution? Will we have to wait for new products with UWB built in to take full advantage of it?

Thanks for responding. I was hoping this might be a way around the VGA limitation, and offer full compatabillity with high end monitors now and going forward. I sure hope Lenovo recognizes the need for a DVI/HDMI port on the next T series release. Many high end monitors can only be connected via DVI or HDMI which one would expect. However there are plenty of people whose monitors only have VGA, so I appreciate the difficulty Lenovo is facing in trying to accomadate everyone. Again I was hoping UWB was the answer.
I made a quick pass at reviewing some of the articles on UWB and found a new one regarding a San Diego company. I was not able to find the article I had read, that to my recolection indicated UWB was enabling wireless transmission of HD content for commercial applications in cinematography.

when you extend a class, your class that you are coding inherits every method and field from the extending class. For example:
public class CustomFrame extends JFrame {
//Your class's methods will be in here, but so will all of JFrame's methods.
}You can override (most) methods from extended classes if you want them to do different things than they normally do. The most commonly overriden methods when using swing are stuff like paint(Graphics g). It needs to be overriden to repaint all of the components.
When you imlpement something, you have to specify an interface. Interfaces have methods in them with no code. If you implement an interface, all methods in in must be defined. If not, the code will not compile. Some interfaces like ActionListener extend other classes to perform stuff. The actionPerformed(ActionEvent e) method will perform an action when a button is pressed, etc.

Enhancement spot : It is the point where you can add your code. It can have multiple implementations. All the implementations can active at a time but the sequence of executions of the implementations can be anything.

Enhancement points are regions where can insert our code to suit customer needs...Spots are subsets of points and created inside these points..for an enhancement point multiple active spots can exist.
For enhacement-sections : the main idea is to provide a spot to customise the existing process..eg:SAP has done a select criteria..but you need to filter it more by adding a where condition..in that case SAP suggests using Enhancement sections..At any time the first active enhancement section works...even if multiple sections are created(though ideally multiple sections are not allowed to be created)..if you do the procedure below you can see that enhancement-section when a spot is created for it...the code in the parent section is copied and given in the editable mode
Creating spots implementations for points/sections are given below................................................................
to Create a spot in the standard code...click on the spiral icon..screen changes to a different color...place cursor on ENHANCEMENT-POINT/ENHANCEMENT-SECTION keyword of the spot you require to create implementation for...righ click -> "enhancement implementation -> "create" -> a table control comes -> at the bottom "CREATE" button to be clicked" ...give a name and text in customer name space and save -> select the same name just given in the table control ..press 'Tick' .....you will get a space where code can be written..write the code.....save and activate

- Wouldn't it be great if, when creating a new class in the New Class wizard, all the abstract methods from the inherited class appeared in the new class skeleton as empty methods?
- Likewise, how about adding an 'implement interface' wizard - right click a class, choose 'implement interface', browse to the interface in a browse window (a bit like the browse for class to extend feature in the new class wizard), click OK and the set of empty methods appear at the end of the class.

A couple of enhancement suggestions:

New Appraisal system using EHP5 and NWBC

The only changes in PMS in EHP5 pertain to the pre-defined template. If you are using (as is most likely) the flexible template in your implementation, there is no relevant enhancement in EHP5.

New to Fios: Schedules Recordings and DVR Capacity

I just gave up on RCN in lieu or Verizon Fios and thus far - can't stand the dvr.
1) The capacity is no where near what RCN's was. I had days worth of TV, movies, etc saved and never ran out of space. With Verizon, it's been less than a week and I`m already half full. I don't have a HD TV, but I`m wondering if my lack of space is caused by the recorder taping in HD. How do I check this setting to ensure that everything being recorded is standard definition?
2) The Verizon DVR is really bad at only keeping two episodes of a show, and only recording new/first run shows. Is there any setting to make this work better? I tried to set it to record first runs only of the show scrubs, on any channel (i wasnt sure what channel the new ones are run on) and in two days it taped 10 episodes...

The FiOS DVR has the same 160GB capacity as the RCN DVR.
SD channels are 0-499 and HD channels are 500+. All the SD local channels can be found under 50.
Recordings from HD channels consume 3-6x the capacity of SD channels.

I want to create a new itunes account for myself and leave the current one for my wife. Is that possible?

Ok. My wife uses itunes for her work and she has asked me to open my own account without erasing the one we currently have so that our music can be seperate. I have my own pc and sync to my own itunes program but our purchases still download to the same account and the money comes from the same account. Can I open a new account and not lose everything? Thanks!

I hope this isn't too wordy but I want to be as clear and explicit as I can for you.
You can't transfer purchases from one account to another account. Apple doesn't allow it.
You can continue to use your daughter's Apple ID in order to continue to use the apps that you purchased with her ID and you will need to use her ID and password any time that you want to update those apps. What you do want to avoid is having to download any of those purchased apps again on any other devices - if you create a new Apple ID.
If you create a new ID and then you sign into her ID in order to download a previous purchase- you will lock yourself out of the new ID for 90 days and there is nothing that you can do about it. So as long as you do NOT download any past purchases with her ID - you will not lock yourself out of the new ID. So you can keep using the apps that were bought with her ID, you can also update those apps using her ID (you have to sign into her account in Settings>Store) but you can't download past purchases without messing things up with your new ID.
When you download a past purchase with a different ID - you associate that device with the different ID for 90 days. This is one way that Apple hopes to cut down on pirating of apps - friends using other friends IDs in order to download apps without patting for them.

The bottom line is that you can create a new ID, still use her ID - judiciously - but you really want to avoid downloading past purchases with her ID. Transfer all of those purchases into iTunes so that if something happens and you need the purchased content again, you can just sync it again rather than downloading it.
