New iTunes phishing emails

recieved an email today that has been confirmed as a phishing scam.
email stated that I had purchased a football app for roughly 9.95 and to cancel the purchase I was to forward my credit information. PLEASE warn all friends and family of this. Apple does not email customers anything other then reciepts from itunes, confirmation emails or support emails. Apple never asks you about your credit information UNLESS your identity has been verified OVER the phone during a call YOU placed to their support team,

Itunes phishing email

Just got a new type of 'phishing' email supposedly from iTunes, with subject "ID: 63168614". Knew this was spam/phishing as the link to View Message was not anything connected to apple (although the reply to mail was an apple.com address).

HT5622 My new iTunes account keeps telling me that my account is not yet verified. But when I click on a verification email in the verification email I receive, it says that my new apple id _has_ already been verified. I'm so confused.

My new iTunes account that I created for work keeps telling me that my email address is not yet verified. So I send a verification email to my main (another) email address, and then when I get a verification email to that address, it says that my email address is already verified.

You can resend the verification email by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address.

Yes I think it might take awhile, 5 hours is not too long, but I know what you mean about usually getting confirmation emails right away.. I can't recall how long it took me to recieve my confirmation email, as I registered years ago. It could come at anytime. You will get it soon. If I were you, I wouldn't be worried. I'd just give it more time.

Thanks for providing more information on what you're trying to accomplish. If you want to create an Apple ID, the email cannot be associated with a pre-existing Apple ID account. Why are you trying to create another Apple ID? If you just want to change your Apple ID, you can simply change the primary email account.

ITunes store wil not acept my new Mobile Me Email address

Hi.
I have recently taken up a Mobile Me account.
My current Apple ID is [email protected]
My Old email address was [email protected]
I now have a new Mobile Me email address which I want to use with my iTunes account as I want to keep all my purchased music.
If I cancel my current iTunes store account, will I loose my paid for music and will it be useable with my mobileme account?

This does not work.
I originally had to have Apple disable my original account, which has caused multiple problems:
1. Unable to play Purchased content with my new .me account.
2. Unable to update apps on my iphone using my .me account.
Apple support say that they cannot merge the accounts which leave me with a problem.

Changing devices is no reason to create a new Apple ID.
All content purchased from iTunes is permanently linked to the Apple ID it was purchased with.
To update apps purchased with the old ID, you MUST sign in with that Apple ID.

TThat's the problem. I've tried to delete the current icloud account but in order to that you need to put in the old password which I don't have so it kicks me out.

On each device go to Settings> iTunes and App store> Turn off automatic downloads of Music, Apps and Books. Now a purchase will only go to the device from which it was ordered.
