New Motherboard + trouble existing CS6

I recently needed a new motherboard in my apple macbook pro and now each time I open a program of my earlier purchased CS6 Design & Web Premium I get a pop up window that I am in a Adobe trial version and that I can license a creative cloud.
I do not want that. All I want is to continue with the earlier bought software.
What can I do to get rid of the pop up and that I can easily continue to use my CS6?

    There should definitely be no issue. You can register more than one Apple device with the same Apple ID and get the same apps on both devices without having to pay for the apps again.
    Alternatively, if you want all your settings to say the same, do a backup of your old iPod Touch and then whe you receive the new iPod, restore the backup on it and it'll save you the trouble from having to redownload everything.

  • Trouble with CS6 Trial, Error codes #4960 and #102

    Having trouble w CS6 trial, first #4960, now #102. I have been trying to install CS6 Master Suite trial and had to pause installation when I had to leave studio for home. When I got home, resumed installation and it took a while, but everything seemed to be fine until I got an error code #4960. I submitted a question earlier and finally managed to throw away folder where program had been stored, threw away all .dmg files in downloads folder, threw away ADA program in applications folder, cleared browser cookies, restarted computer and now i am getting error code #102 (which the trouble shooting says indicates not enough space for file, but this is a brand new macbook pro). I also tried downloading each program file seperately (photoshop, premier, illustrator, etc.) and my computer tries to open the file from the corrupted folder (which i'm certain i tossed). please, someone help!!!

    This error ususally comes up if the extraction of files was interrupted or the installer package is incomplete or corrupted.
    Try downloading it again and check.

    Trouble opening cs6 v17 from cs6 v16.2.1 (illustrator). Tells me that the document was v=created by a newer version and of course flattesn and groups EVERYTHING. Should I have been notified of a software update?

    Ask in the AI forum and tell people what features you actually used in your artwork, what fonts, what system you are on etc.. Flattening always has a specific cause, it's not per se a file compatibility problem.

  • Asking for 16-digit serial number after installing new motherboard

    Hi, my computer's motherboard died and I got a new one installed. I own Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium and it is installed on this machine. Since I got the new motherboard, if I start up an Adobe application the Adobe Application Manager pops up and asks me for a 16-digit (all numerals) serial number. But the CS6 serial number is NOT all numerals and is NOT 16 digits, so it won't let me type it in. I have no other serial number. How can I fix this? Currently my apps are still working, but I think they think they are a trial version that expires in 30 days. I'm using it on a MacBook Pro running OSX 10.9.3. Thanks.

    YOu are wrong. Serial numbers are always only numbers. What you have is an eligibility code. Since you obviously already activated it a nd exchanged it for a final serial number, it must be somewhere on your account or your archived e- mails. If not, contact support directly by web chat.

  • Install discs new motherboard

    I had a new motherboard 2 years ago. I'd like to do an erase and reinstall of my hard drive. So I have 2 sets of discs, one set came with my laptop when I bought it new in 2006, one set was given to me when the new motherboard was fitter 2 years ago. I've just examinded the discs, both sets look exactly the same, but on the white envelopes  they are in the numbers are different, one number ends 2006 one ends 2009. Trouble is the new motherboard discs are in the packet ending 2006 which makes me think they have been put into the wrong packet! My question is, will it harm my motherboard or hard drive if I put the wrong discs in to erase my hard drive? Thanks for any help. I intend to get the discs reinstall done at the apple shop.

    I just used the button to turn on. The only problem I have with my Mac is that my 28 GB of my  hard disc is taken up with the system log. I have been advised just to do a clean install after erasing the hard disc to rectify my lack of disc space. I don't know why this has happened. I did have a new motherboard 2 years ago, I wonder if it has something to do with that.

  • Getting new motherboard to recognise previously Striped drives

    I've ordered a new 6758 PCB2.0 motherboard to replace my 6758 PCBPCB1.0 (875P Neo-FIS2R) which has ceased working.  Can anyone tell me how I can ensure that when I connect all my drives to the new board the existing stripe config on the boot drive and a 2nd identical drive is maintained?  They are striped using the onboard Promise controller - naturally when I power on the new box the Promise config will not be present and I definitely don't want to lose my data - losing the 1st board was enough for one week.

    Bad news,your new board does not have promise.
    windows will say   so you would have to do a repair install.
    you will have to remember the exact settings for a alike raid sys [intel vs promise]
    when you load new sys preload a raid driver and load OS to a single HD,then setup your other HDs and create a raid and see if you can recover any data.

  • Installing New Motherboard

    A month or so ago I got some advice here in the forums with regards to frequent freezes, and hangs on my 4 yr old eMac 1.25G. I was advised correctly, that there had been a problem with a bad batch of caps for a power supply on the motherboard. Apple ran a repair extension program that has since expired, and there doesn't seem to be any way to contact them.
    I even went to the nearest Apple store (3 hours away), and tried to get with a genius. I was told It would be about a 7 hour wait.
    After looking around online, I've found I can buy a whole new motherboard for my machine for about $200 bucks. I'm thinking about purchasing it and installing it myself.
    I have a service manual with instructions for the installation, and have been inside the eMac before just looking around.
    Any advice?
    BTW: I don't have the discharge tool that the service manual calls for, so I am going to leave the machine plugged in and off for at least a week before attempting this to allow the display cap to discharge.

    I just replaced the logic board on my emac myself. It's a lot of work, but as long as you follow the service manual, you can do it. I did not discharge the CRT, since I was not working near it. Just use one of those wrist grounding straps. Here's some advice:
    Keep track of all the screws, i.e. what part they belong to - since you have to remove SEVERAL components to actually get to the logic board. I wrote down on a piece of paper the name of the component, the order in which I removed it, the number of screws, and then put the screws right there.
    You will need thermal paste (Radio Shack) when you put the heat sink back on the processor.
    Be careful when re-connecting the down converter to the logic board. I had trouble getting the male pins lined up with the female socket, and I actually mangled one of the plastic sockets. Luckily, the pins still make contact, so no worries.
    While you're inside, give the fan a good shot of compressed air to clean out the dust.

    i am trying to run a time machine backup after having gotten a new motherboard and a new battery at mac repair and this time machine prompt is confusing me. does anyone know what it means and what i should do with it?

    i have a new motherboard which means it thinks i have a new machine. from the url it appears that /adding/ backups to the existing backups is not possible?
    i mean, the last two paragraphs here are very confusing. is my case the first case or the second case or do i have an option here?

  • Moving RAID- drives to new motherboard

    I am very likely going to upgrade my K8T Neo to the newer K8T800 Pro with a 3800+ when both are available.
    Anyone offer advice on how to move my currently RAID0 drives to this new motherboard?  The controller is still the 8237 so I'm assuming it will be OK?
    What would happen if I wanted to move this drive to a different controller - like a board based on the Nforce controller?  Would it work or would I have to start over and lose my RAID0 contents?
    Sure wish someone had a 4 device SATA controller on the motherboard so I didn't have to deal with the Promise stuff.  Was disappointed this wasn't included in the K8T800 Pro.

    The same era (early 2005) 2.3 might be a good option.
    If you don't have PCI/PCI-X cards that need transferred, a 2.3 GHz dual core (Late 2005) would be an option.
    A Late 2005 dual core machine, however, wouldn't be able to use existing RAM or graphics cards, either.
    All other models can use existing RAM, PCI and graphics cards.
    As I said, the drives should not be a worry in any other G5.
    They would probably boot just fine in a G4 as well.
    With a retail OS installation, there is no reason to worry about compatibility.
    As for LCS, like I said, all 2.5 and 2.7 GHz machines.

    Delete the ZIP, write a new one. You can't modify an existing archive.

    It is possible, But not recommended. Better if you have solution like...
    DEV-->QAS1-->QAS2-->PRD
    But it is possible by using transport groups. There are lots of posts aleady regarding this.

    Hi , We want to add a new field to existing table from ECC  and populate historical data .
    We have already extracted data from ECC to VBAK Table . We have to add a new field - Incoterms in HANA . This field exists in ECC .

        I dont think you can add new fields to the condition table once you have activated the condition table.
    SAP says you can only make limited changes to the condition table, like changing the description, fast entry screen, header and footer fields, but not able to add new fields to the table, and I think that is the correct approch or else for the same table you will have two sets of condition records.

    What you can do is create a new condition table with additional field and assign this table before the currently used table in the access sequence.
