New software update iOS 8.1.3
Today I uploaded the new iOS 8 1 3 after an hour the iPhone 6 reset itself, flickers and ask for apple id every 15 min, Has anyone else had troble with the new update?
I would recommend Allan's advice ^. If unsuccessful, I'd log into iCloud on the device, then go to App Store, View Apple ID, and verify that your Apple ID does not need to be verified on the device. The flicker I can't quite explain, but if it seems that the update may have caused any issues I would instruct you to perform a solid back-up via iTunes and iCloud and perform a factory data reset by doing the following:
Tap Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Contents & Settiings
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

What is going with this new software update, ios 6.1?
When I update to the new software for my iphone 5 and ipad, everything went well but I lost all my contacts on my home (important numbers). Then I went to the App Store when I get a free app and sign in with the new password, it said "could not sign in." I reset my new password then try same process again. Then the same message pop-ups again. Even rebooting the system again. THIS NEW UPDATE IS GIVING US A LOT OF PROBLEMS!!!! Now I could not get any free apps for school.
Sign out of the store first, then sign in again.

Sometimes when a person updates to IOS 7 their phone service becomes suspended all together, and the Verizon store won't be aware of that most of the time and they recommend getting a new SIM card when that's not the problem. So try the steps I laid out for you below before you take it any farther.
With any other phone, call the Verizon customer service line. Then it will ask you to type a phone number in that needs service, this is when you type in the number of the unserviced phone
After that it will tell you if your phone service is suspended and it gives you an option to un-suspend it as long as you have your account password.

I'm a current Apple Developer but once I sync my iPhone 5 into the current latest version of iTunes it wants me to restore the phone not back it up. I just want to BackUp my iPhones contents like I used to do with the old iTunes software but this one unfortunately doesn't give me an option to? Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Yes I have the current updated version of iTunes which is 11.1.5. So yeah when I connect my iPhone directly to the MacBook Pro I have tunes pops up and wants me to restore the phone iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone “Enzo’s iPhone”. Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings. it doesn't give me any option to click to manually back up or restore. It only happens to my iPhone because I'm a Apple Developer and I called Apple just now and they said it works for non developers but for developers the new update isn't for some reasons working like it should Apple Care wasn't able to give me any help regarding this they told me to contact the developing team so I did but it haven't heard back from the team. My friends iPhone 5 works when I plug it into my computer and it shows what should be showing the normal user interface like manually backup or restore ect... but when I load it up this shows ? iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone “Enzo’s iPhone”. i tried to upgrade to ios 7 but it shows error 4005...it took more then 45 mins to download but after it just shows an image on my iphone that connect ur phone with i tunes i tried it but there's nothing happening and now i cant even use my iphone....pls help me what to do????

The newest software is 6.0.1, iOS 5 is the old software. The update numbers go up not backwards, you have the latest update if you are showing 6.0.1 Hope this helps!

Since installing new software update, my iphone 4S no longer is recognized by itunes
I installed the new software update to my Windows PC and my iphone and now my iphone 4s is no longer recognized by itunes and I cannot sync. I already attempted unintalling itunes and reinstalling it - it didn't work.

It sounds like your phone is not recognzied in iTunes anymore. I recommend the troubleshooting steps from the article named:

Here is an overview of the troubleshooting to be done:
1. Update iTunes
2. Check the USB cable
3. Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
4. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service
5. Verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed
6. Check for third-party software conflicts
If the issue persists, try uninstalling iTunes and its associated apps with either of these two articles depending on your operating system version and its associated softwares:

I have a Iphone 4 and after the last software update iOS.0.4, my phone is no longer connecting to the wifi at my house.
My MacBook Air is connected and my roommates phones are also connected, but my iphone that always was connected to the same network is no longer connecting to the wifi.
The network is shown on the device but I can't join it.
Whats going on? Does someone know how to solve this issue?
Thank you!Problem persisted after fixes were done so wife called apple today. Their fix is to turn cellular off when in the house and turn it back on when she leaves- the 4 doesn't keep the password so she has to enter the password too... This wasn't a fix ...it's just resolving the connection problem... They also said that they made ios6 have security features so nobody can hack into the wifi without having the password and it has to be entered to use the wifi. My 5 and the iPads stay on with no problems. It's just the 4. So far so good...she's had wifi all day when home. It's inconvenient but it's either completely reboot it with iTunes (which doesn't work for her) or buy a new phone and she won't do that either.
So...Apple is saying that she didn't have to do the updates either and could've stayed with the previous iOS but !!!too late now!!! We've updated because we think our phones will run better but the ios6 just made it a pita for users
I wonder if the hackers of the world are having as many issues as the peeps who are just trying to use their wifi?? -

Have you attempted an iTunes restore and setting up as a new device? Sometimes battery life issues can be caused by corrupted iOS software.

I bought new i phone 5 3 days back, after that asked for new update which is 6.1.4, after updating my iphone i am not able to use cellular data services. I called up data provider, they says its the problem with new software update. There is no option add APN. Now when i switch to safari its showing you are not subscribed for cellular data. But I am able to use data on other phone.
Will you please help me in this regard?
Another issue, since i bought my new iphone there is dust inside back main camera.

New software update for iPod touch 4th generation? PLEASE HELP!!
Ok so here is the problem: I have the iPod touch 4th generation with software version 4.3 (I have had my iPod for about 7 months) and recently within the past week or so I have started experiencing multiple crashes with many different various apps and games. Just random games crashing and then I noticed it happening with the Facebook app and even Safari on my iPod! I had to get off of my iPod and come on the computer to type this message out because Safari would crash every single time I tried to type this on my iPod! So at first I figured it was the apps and games' problems, but then as more and more began to crash, like Facebook and Safari, I figured it is the Apple software version 4.3 acting up. So I was wondering, is Apple working on a new software update for iPod touch 4th gen.? Or is this a rare problem? Is there anyone out there having this same problem? Or anyone at all that can PLEASE help me?! MANY THANKS!

I tried to update my iPhone 5 this morning with the new software update. Now my phone won't turn on. When I plug into iTunes, it says that my phone is in recovery mode and that it needs to be restored to factory settings. Is there a way to fix this without losing my settings? Why would this happen on a software update?

I just downloaded a new software update to my ipod touch and now the ipod and screen are frozen. I received a message that the download was not successful and now my screen is showing the blue round itunes symbol with an arrow pointing to the symbol and shows a cable below it. I have tried the restart of pushing the two buttons together and waiting 10 seconds for the apple symbol which appears and then go backs to the same stuck symbol. My computer is not recognizing the ipod either and will not connect. What needs to be done? Thanks.
Try manually placin the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes.
