New tasks not displayed in Universal WorkList

Hi,
I am able to see the leaves request till last weekend, after that suddenly my open tasks list is empty while I am still getting mails from the backend asking me to approve the leaves applied. But I am not able to do that as I am not able to see on the portal open task list.
Kindly help.
Thanks,
Shruti

Hi all,
This thread is similar to the issue I'm having so I wanted to share the issue I'm having.
We have a strange issue where leave requests are not appearing in the UWL for a specific manager. We have checked with other managers and the leaves are appearing in their UWLs and they are able to process their employee's leaves without any issue.
For the manager not seeing the leave in their UWL, I have confirmed the following:
1) Proper manager defaults in 'approver' field in ESS and employee is able to send leave request without issue
2) Manager receives email to process employees leave request after RPTARQEMAIL program runs
3) Leave is reaching the manager's business workplace in R/3 so this verifies workflow is working and the leave is being directed to proper manager for approval
4) Proper roles have been assigned to manager and verified in PRD
*Also, the leaves were appearing in the manager's UWL at one point but no longer appearing. This makes it more confusing!
Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas as to what may have happened?
Any feedback would be greatly appreicated!
Regards,
Brian

  • BPM task not appearing in universal worklist

    Hello All.
We have installted NWCE 7.2 for a developing a pilot . We have created a sample BPM application and build and deployed it.
For some reason the BPM task (first activity in our process model)  is not appearing in the UWL
We have ensured that UWL is configured properly and SAP_LocalSystem BPEMUWLConnector is configured and running successfully.
After deploying the process model, we have started the process following the NWA, Configuration Mgmt , Processes and tasks , Start the process .
In the manage Processes: Process Instance the status is showing In Progress and Show Process flow shows the first process is active.
Note: The process is not trying to connect to any backend applictaion for timebeing, Administrator has full previliege on the Pool, Lane and Human activity / task
If any one has encountered similiar problem with NWCE7.2 Sp1 please help us how to go about and overcome this issue.
We have to demo the smaple this week so any help would be highly appreciated
    thanks
    Mukhuti

    Hi,
Check the task owner in Nwa > Operation Management > Processes and Tasks > Mange Tasks. If you are able to locate the task then make sure that the user has been assigned the BPEM END user role.
    Hope this helps!!
    Cheers,

  • LeaveRequestApprover : "Page cannot be displayed" in universal worklist

    Hi,
I really need some help on the leave request approver application.
When the approver clicks on a request in his universal worklist, the LeaveRequestApprover should be called. In our case, we have a "Page cannot be displayed" error message.
We have upgraded our system form ECC5 to ECC6.
Is there some configuration to do?
Thanks a lot for your help.

    Hello Karim,
Can you check the whether the TASK of that workflow is properly configured in SWFVISU with your application name/component name.
    Please check and confirm.

  • Why is Times New Roman not displaying correctly in Illustrator CS5?

Alright, so I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and Illustrator CS5.
Times New Roman Regular does not display correctly on my machine when using Illustrator CS5, but Bold, Italic, Italic Bold display just fine.  Times New Roman does display correctly in every other program I use.  InDesign, Word, etc.  I've attached a screenshot to show what I mean.  Please help!

I had reinstall font family - no changes. Win 8.1 Illustrator CC.

  • Tasks not displaying in Mail tab

Have recently started using Thunderbird (been using Outlook 2003) and have installed Lightening add on. I have created a number of tasks (mainly recurring) but they are not displaying in 'Tasks' pane on Thunderbird's main 'email' tab - they all have both Start and Due dates. The Task 'date' is highlighted in the mini-month display but the Task is not listed below in the Tasks pane. If I open the Calendar tab then tasks are displayed under their various dates. On one occasion the Tasks did list on the Tasks pane of Thunderbird's main mail tab(page) but next time I 'opened' Thunderbird they had disappeared!

I have no answer for you, but you might post on this thread. Perhaps the two affected might get some value out of talking.https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1017718

  • Configured new language not displayed in user profile Language options

    Hi all,
I have a requirement to add new language in portal. In that I have configured the language u201Chindiu201D in portal content translation. Now i want to configure  language options in userprofile.
These are the procedures I have followed
1 .On the file server navigate to
    <Installation-drive>:usrsap<SID><Instance_ID>SDM
    ootoriginsap.com com.sap.security.core.adminSAP AG<version_number>com.sap.security.core.admin.630.ear
    From here extract the com.sap.security.core.useradmin.war.
    2.In com.sap.security.core.useradmin.war file and add u201C hi = Hindi u201C in Language_en.properties
3.Create a copy of Language_en.properties, and save as Language_hi.properties at any location.
Now we have to do some changes with the help of configtool.bat
So start the tool by executing.
    <SAPJ2EEEngine_installation>j2eeconfigtoolconfigtool.bat>
    Now Switch to configure mode.
In the Tree navigate to cluster_data>>persistant>>com.sap.security.core.ume.services.
Now switch between view and edit mode and choose yes.
4.By right clicking on com.security.core.ume.service create a Sub node. And choose
File-entry and upload the language_hi.properties that you have created in previous step.
5.Create and Close the Window. And just restart all cluster nodes
After the above configuration, the language u201Chindiu201D is added and I can able to see the language  in self registration Language options.but it is not displayed in userprofile language options.

  • N97: Tasks not displayed

I'm using a MfE account on my N97. When synchronizing all items are well received and send so to see. However the task items (which are indeed synchronized) cannot be not displayed in my calendar application.  Does anyone recognizes this problem and/or knows how to tackle this?

Hi. Thought I would advise that I downloaded the file from Nokia and tried to install it.   It appears as though it is going to install, then get message 'Certificate error. Contact supplier'.   I note from the blurb on the file site that it supports the N95 but no mention of N97.   Can you advise how to email a question direct to Nokia Tech Staff?   I can find no link on the Nokia Support pages.  Thanks.

  • New field not displaying in ALV

    Hi all,
I have worked with ALV before, but currently I'm facing the problem of adding a new field to the ALV but it was not display on the screen. I have checked the fieldcatalog table and internal table right before the call of GRID-> SET_TABLE_FOR_FIRST_DISPLAY. All seems to be fine at this moment. Just that the new field was not displayed on the screen. Any idea?

    Hello Mil
If you are using the old-fashioned ALV you will find several push-buttons for changing the ALV layout.
If you are using OO-based ALV then you will have a single push-button in the ALV toolbar with dropdown menu to select the specific function.
In any case, choose function "Change layout...". Usually you will get a popup with two lists of fields:
    - on the left side you see the currently displayed fields in the ALV list
    - on the right side you see fields that can additionally displayed
For sure you will find your missing field there.
    Regards

above comment is from user, he checked in portal inbox with his ligin, please help y he facing this problem, am new to this area of work, are there any authorization problem to him..
Please advise me, I dont have portal login here, I can check in R/3 end only...  Thanks in advance to HR gurus.
    Sadana.

    Hi there,
It may happen that your task has been reserved for someone else (like and administrator or maybe an error during workitem assignment). Check table SWWORGTASK to verify that at least one of the agents has the NO_SEL field blank. Otherwise no one will see the task on his inbox.
If that is the case, you can forward the task to someone else (assuming you have workflow administrator rights) through SWIA

  • Throw new OAExecption not displaying on Screen

    Hi OAF Gurus,
I am facing a very strange problem.
I have a code in AM, that has a try and catch block , in the catch block I throw new OAexcption, this is displayed in the jdev log , but this exception message don’t not come on screen
    code
    public void applyTransaction()
    OADBTransaction oadbTxn = this.getOADBTransaction();
    try
    oadbTxn.commit();
    catch(Exception e)
    throw new OAException(e.getMessage(),OAException.ERROR);
is there any profile option / diagnostics level to be set for this exception to come on screen .
or this is any environment settings ?
    Thanks
    Chaitanya

This problem, I have faced in intial versions of Jdev, Jdev before CU2 for 11.5.10, sometimes, even after recompiling and then re-starting local jdev server, the server took last versions of class file, the problem always solved if we delete myclasses in jdev.
I remember a few threads where the standard advise was to restart jdev, clear myclasses along with a bunch of other steps. Just misleading :) Even I never had this issue.

  • New iMac not displaying Second monitor correctly... ATI graphic to blame?

I bought a new iMac a week ago, only to find out yesterday that new ones were released. My local Apple Store had no problems allowing me to swap my now outdated iMac for the new one that came out yesterday, and I am very grateful for that.
However, ATI's graphics are not getting along with my dual monitor setup. My display looks excellent on the iMac itself, but on the external 23" HD display from HP, it is all distorted and only shows 3/4 of the screen.
HP does not make drivers for OS X on their displays, since they are plug and play. Therefore, the issue is in ATI.
Anyone else having trouble with this?

    Danny,
It's probably just the monitor preferences aren't set up correctly. Please follow these instructions:
    1. System Preferences - Displays
    2. Using the iMac's display preference click the Arrangement tab and you will see the orientation of the monitors. You will need to choose the left pane and move it around to get the orientation you want. When you choose it both box in the preference and the window on the monitor will get a red band around the outside to help you orient where you are. It takes a little trying but I'm sure you'll figure it out.
You didn't say what you have done to troubleshoot the issue so I'm assuming you haven't looked at the monitor preferences yet.

    Hi
this is a rather unconventional and not officially supported way to access SAP data. Some of the table fields as you see them in SAP R3 do not have corresponding fields in the underlying database.
If you want to build reports on SAP R3 table you have the following options:
    1) Use the SAP rapid marts and extract your R3 data into a DWH based on a relational database. You also get a universe on which you can build your reports.
    2) You can use Crystal Reports and the native R3 table driver
    3) There is also a prototype (This is NOT a product) R3 connector for the Data FEderator that will allo you to build relational universes on SAP R3 sources.
    4) Load your data into a BW system and build OLAP universes on top of BEx queries.
