Nike Plus with 3gs in gym

Wondering if anyone is experiencing this problem.....
I have Nike plus with iphone 3gs. It works flawlessly at home on the treadmill, as soon as I go to the gym, my phone will not find the sensor. This has been tested in 3 different gyms and every time I walk into a gym it doesn't work. It will work as soon as I get home. I can't imagine that gym equipment would be causing interference. Could it be other sensors in the gym interfering? I cant imagine that the case either because nothing is coming up when I google this problem. If the sensors interfere with each other in a gym environment there would be a ton of people posting this problem im sure.

Now I would 100% agree with that, but im refusing to allow myself to believe that. Theres gotta be a ton of these in the gym, wouldnt everyone be experiencing this problem? Not one single post anywhere that I can find where someone speaks of an issue with their 3gs in the gym. I find that odd. And I am in a place where probably 75% of Nike Plus Buyers are.... A Gym. Just find it nuts that there would be interference problems with other sensors, I would imagine that would have been thought of when developing the producr.

How do I sync multiple ipods with nike plus

My wife and I have seperate (6th gen) ipods, with seperate nike plus accounts, but one itunes intall and one library. How do I prevent itunes from syncing the wrong ipod to the wrong nike plus account? Currently both ipods are trying to sync to the same nike plus account, and I can't seem to unlink the one that is syncing to the wrong account.

The same way you sync just one. If y want different media on each iPod then only select the items you want synced to each iPod

Also, I would go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says prevent iPods... for syncing automatically so that you can more easily check what you want syned

Problem with Nike plus and running in non-Nike sneakers

I love running with my Nike plus and my itouch, but I've been having trouble with my Nike plus logging incorrect mileage when I attach the foot sensor to my non-Nike running shoes (in one of those little velcro pouches secured to the shoelaces). For instance, I ran a half marathon and it logged 4 miles. When I put the sensor back in my Nike plus shoes (which aren't quite as comfortable for me) everything is fine. Is anyone else having this problem? Should I carve a hole in the insole of my other sneakers to embed the sensor?

Seems something got corrupted with this VI. Copy things over to a fresh VI and things should be OK.

Trouble with nike plus and nano

I am having trouble with my Nike plus and my nano staying on. It worked for a while but now it stops recording the work out after anywhere from 1 to 24 minutes. Any suggestions?

All the workout data would get uploaded to the Nike+ website into a single-user's data.
However, if you really don't want to buy two units, the Nike+ website does offer you the ability to "name" your workouts. So, each time you work out, the two of you could give your workouts a name that would allow to differentiate whose is whose. For instance, "His Workout #1" and "Her Workout #1," etc. The combined totals would represent both "His" and "Her" workout totals, but you could at least tell the difference between individual workouts.

Completely Frustrated With Nike Plus Sports Kits

I've bought several Nike Plus Sports Kits recently and every single one of them has had a dead sensor in them. Either I'm buying them from retailers that have had these units on their shelves for years (ever since Nike Plus first rolled out), or there is some sort of defect with the majority of the sensors I've purchased. It's a real pain in the neck to keep having to take these kits back to where I bought them and try a different location to get a new one.
I didn't have this problem when the program first rolled out years ago (when the batteries in these units were fresh), but lately I've lost all desire to even use Nike Plus and have resorted back to a good old fashioned pedometer.
Any suggestions?

I also have just bought 1 sensor (Fnac in Italy) and it seems with a dead battery. I have tried all possible options and followed instructions to connect to the new sensor, but never made it to connect with my iPod touch (2nd gen) or iPod Nano.
I will return it tomorrow to the shop.

The Nano cannot connect to iCloud to download iMatch songs, playlists, etc. and iMatch is only for music you own it does not work with Nike plus.

How do you get the iPod Touch to work with NIKE PLUS

I purchased an iPod Touch and according to target employee it was the latest generation. The one that worked with Nike Plus. However for two days now there is no icon no nothing that will start the lnink process. I plugged the connector and it gives me a message saying " This accessory is not supported by this ipod"

I would double check on what generation you have. Do you have external, physical buttons to be used for volume control? If not, you have the first generation touch which will not work with Nike+. If this is the case, I'd recommend taking the iPod back to Target and requesting an exchange.

I have the same issue! I purchased a nano 6th, polar hrm so I could run and receive spoken feedback when my heart rate was outside my preset zone. My suunto t3 used to beep when outside the preset zones. Automatic, periodic beeps or spoken feedback is the most important information to receive during exercise. I hope apple can update the software to add this simple yet critical feature.

Siri not working with Nike plus

I noticed today that siri would not working while i was using Nike Plus on my run. Is this a known problem or is it just me?

Nike + iPod on 3GS

Hello,
I have having a problem with finding the Nike Plus application on my 3GS.
Am I right in saying that the Nike + iPod is available on the iPhone 3GS?
If so, I simply cannot find it anywhere. There is no option in my Settings and there is no Nike app in the list. This is very frustrating as I would really like to make use of it, so any help would be very welcome. I have looked all over the web, but there doesn't seem to be any guidance on this.

Yes. I had already done that. There is no Nike icon there. I scrolled all the way down to the bottom of the list. There's nothing there. At all. That's the problem. I am not sure why. Can anyone please help?

Yes you do, otherwise the data can't be sent to your iphone.
During your run you'd also want to get spoke updates etc.

Itunes doesn't send workout data to Nike Plus

I have a new sensor and I can't get itunes to send the workout data from it to the nike plus website. I had no problems with my old sensor. I have made sure that the box is checked in itunes to automatically send workout data to Nike Plus, but it doesn't prompt me for my username or anything. I have spent 2 hours on the phone with Nike Plus and Apple and no verdict.

I tried all that before I deleted my 6 music files. Actually, before I did all that, I connected my ipod to another computer that I had not yet added the 6 songs to itunes. I wnated to verify that it wasn't the ipod or the nike+ site. The data did indeed upload. That's when I determined the only difference between the computer and itunes that worked and the one that didn't work was the presence of the 6 songs. After deleting these 6 songs, I was able to upload additional data and access the nike+ site from the "former" non working model.

No. Once you buy the Nike Sensor and follow the directions to set the sensor up with your supported iDevice, the Nike+ app required will automatically install/appear on your dashboard and is ready to use. Hope this helps out.
