No image in artwork window; XML validates; pinged iTMS; still NO image

I apologize for the duplicate post. First posted within a post regarding image size. Image size is not our problem. This post is an attempt to correct my mistake.
My department has produced several podcast for our agency. (http://www.myetv.org/podcast) . All is working well with one exception.
The image is not appearing in the artwork window when you subscribe to a podcast and play one of its episodes. (Podcasts have been submitted and accepted by iTunes for 3 weeks).
XML file can be viewed at http://www.myetv.org/podcast/feeds/SpoletoToday_with_MarcusOverton.xml . We cannot figure out what we are doing wrong. We have pinged iTunes to update and still nothing. We have included the necessary itunes:image tag in the XML files. (According to http://www.nobodylikesonions.com/feedcheck/ XML is correct).
1) I've noticed in many discussions here, and also in Apple's Tech Specs, there is a space after .jpg” and before />. Is this space necessary for iTunes to recognize the tag?
(EXAMPLE: <itunes:image href="http://example.com/podcasts/everything/AllAboutEverything.jpg" />)
2) Is it necessary to include the width and height tags for the image to display in iTunes.
3) It is my understanding that it is not necessary to embed the image within each episode of a podcast, unless you want a different image to display for each episode or you want the image to display for an iPod. Is this correct?
Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

Sallid,
The problem is not with the feed or iTunes - it is that the image you are looking for should be in the ID3 tags and not the Feed.
See the tutorial above.
The image needs to be imbeded in the MP3 file before you upload to the server.
So for point 3 below - no you are not correct - you do need to imbed the image into each MP3 file if you want the artwork to show up when the individual file is being played.
RSS Art work is for the Main page in iTunes.
MP3 Art work is for the individual episodes.

    i noticed recently that once i uploading images with MULTIPLE ITEM  INFORMATION box in itunes and getting straight through the music folder i have no option to upload  tiff. and some jpeg. images connected with that album. the box don't allow me to upload them.i need help here,please.i know i can directly paste the artwork in small window in itunes left corner once i marked all the songs in multiple change.

    The following line tells me that this is not a template file, but a document created from a template called index.dwt
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><!-- InstanceBegin template="/Templates/index.dwt" codeOutsideHTMLIsLocked="false" -->
    This means that you saved a child document as a template file at some stage.
    If you go to Modify->Templates->Detach from Template, you can remove the template structure from your document. All you then need to do is to re-save the document as a template.

  • Image not showing in XML Publisher [works on windows, not unix]

    I have an xml publisher RTF template that references an image from a URL passed in from the xml data file. The report definition references the image as follows:
    <fo:external-graphic>
    <xsl:attribute name="src">
    <xsl:value-of select="//fld_FILE_PATH_NAME"/>
    </xsl:attribute>
    The XML produced for the report correctly contains one single element to resolve to the URL:
    <fld_FILE_PATH_NAME>file:////i01_02/psoft/90/finsys/appserv/FSDSYS90/files/OZ57_EX_E0445_0000000303.png</fld_FILE_PATH_NAME>
    When running in PeopleSoft on a windows application server the process works fine and I can see the image. When I run this in our unix solaris environment, PT 8.49, the report runs but the image does not display. I have checked that the image does exist in the correct location I ran firefox in gnome and pasted the file location below and it resolved fine.
    I am referring to the file using a 'file' URL as follows:
    file:////i01_02/psoft/90/finsys/appserv/FSDSYS90/files/OZ57_EX_E0445_0000000303.png
    Any ideas?
    Glenn

    OK, this was a confusing one, and I suspect is a bug.
    In the end, after using the xdo.log [debugger], we saw that the xml publisher engine is stripping off two slashes as the beginning of the URL construct. So, the solution, is to add two additional slashes.
    So, the URL which ended up working is:
    file://////opt/oracle/90/findev/appserv/FSDDEV90/files/OZ57_EX_E0445_0000000303.png
    which resolves to the file /opt/oracle/90/findev/appserv/FSDDEV90/files/OZ57_EX_E0445_0000000303.png
    FYI - our environment is Solaris 10 using the Oracle Application Server, PT 8.49

    To have the profile copy setting work, first enable the administrator account (disabled by default on Windows 7) and login to that account and configure it.
    The copy profile only copies the active profile (when running sysprep) and other profiles get deleted... and this needs to be the administrator profile AFAIK.
    Cheers,

    Any chance I could get a copy of that Brainshare presentation? We are just now jumping into Windows 7. Planning to rollout next school year...I am looking for some solid docs. Everything I've found so far is focusing on Windows imaging format and other MS tools that I'm not familiar with but certainly willing to learn if that is the ONLY way. With our XP image builds, we basically built everything out of the default profile and utilized sysprep, driver addons and scripted zenworks images so that the imaging experience was "set it and forget it". Once the process was complete, a user could walk up and use the desktop as usual...no required changes or additional input. Can't seem to get there with the documentation even in theory...figuring that I just haven't found the right docs.

  • Publish cloud service fails from Visual Studio 2013 Update 4: Published Asset Entry for Image Microsoft.Azure.Diagnostics_PaaSDiagnostics_europeall_manifest.xml not found.

    I have a cloud service project with two roles (service and worker). In Visual Studio 2013 Update 4 when I choose "Publish..." from the "Solution Explorer",  it opens "Microsoft Azure Activity Log" and quickly terminates.
    Here the log:
    9:43:47 AM - Applying Diagnostics extension.
    9:44:09 AM - Published Asset Entry for Image Microsoft.Azure.Diagnostics_PaaSDiagnostics_europeall_manifest.xml not found.
    All works fine when uploading the package and updating from https://manage.windowsazure.com/. It only fails from within Visual Studio.
    What can I do to get it working?

    I have the same problem with our Azure project. Two web roles (service and worker). Just updated from SDK2.2 to SDK2.5 and Visual Studio 2013 Update 2 to Update 4. The main reason behind this was to move from log4net to WAD and in doing so, of course directly
    move to the new diagnostics version.
    Now, I get the same error message in Visual Studio:
    11:45:24 - Checking for Remote Desktop certificate...
    11:45:25 - Applying Diagnostics extension.
    11:45:45 - Published Asset Entry for Image Microsoft.Azure.Diagnostics_PaaSDiagnostics_europeall_manifest.xml not found.
    With my small testing project - also two roles (service and worker) - everything is fine. However, I'm looking for a solution to make by existing production service working.
    Also the test project shows no Microsoft.Azure.Diagnostics_PaaSDiagnostics_europeall_manifest.xml,
    but this is no problem - so what's the meaning of or solution to this error messages?
    What I found so far:
    I deployed the Azure project from the same development environment to another Azure test service: Deployment
    showed no errors and the service is running fine! So the problem is not with the source, the development environment, library dependencies etc.
    Trying Azure cmdlets for PowerShell also work fine for the new service and fails for the production service with almost the same error message:
    Following http://blogs.msdn.com/b/kwill/archive/2014/12/02/windows-azure-diagnostics-upgrading-from-azure-sdk-2-4-to-azure-sdk-2-5.aspx
    I tried:
    PS C:\> Set-AzureServiceDiagnosticsExtension -StorageContext $storageContext -DiagnosticsConfigurationPath $public_config -ServiceName $service_name -Slot 'Staging' -Role $role_name
    VERBOSE: Setting PaaSDiagnostics configuration for MyWebRole.
    Set-AzureServiceDiagnosticsExtension : BadRequest : Published Asset Entry for Image
    Microsoft.Azure.Diagnostics_PaaSDiagnostics_europeall_manifest.xml not found.

        + FullyQualifiedErrorId : Microsoft.WindowsAzure.CloudException,Microsoft.WindowsAzure.Commands.ServiceManagement.
       Extensions.SetAzureServiceDiagnosticsExtensionCommand
    The problem seems to be related to those service configuration parts in the cloud which are not replaced
    by a new deployment... So what are possible reasons or fixes for this behaviour?

  • XML Publisher Report - Unable to see image stored on External server

    Hi
    I need to put image on XML report that is on different instance for that i had put a dummy image on XML template and in the WEB TAB for that image i put the tag like url:{ATTRIBUTE3} and attribute3 is having correct value we are also showing it on the report , but at the run time i can only see the dummy image of the template and the URL, not the actual image , URL points to a image on different server we can see the image when we place that URL in Web browser.
    Please help me , Thx in advance.
    Ranga

    From the documentation:
    URL Reference
    1.Insert a dummy image in your template.
    2.In Microsoft Word's Format Picture dialog box select the Web tab. Enter the following syntax in the Alternative text region to reference the image URL:
    url:{'http://image location'}
    For example, enter: url:{'http://www.oracle.com/images/ora_log.gif'}
    Element Reference from XML File
    1.Insert a dummy image in your template.
    2.In Microsoft Word's Format Picture dialog box select the Web tab. Enter the following syntax in the Alternative text region to reference the image URL:
    url:{IMAGE_LOCATION}
    where IMAGE_LOCATION is an element from your XML file that holds the full URL to the image.
    You can also build a URL based on multiple elements at runtime. Just use the concat function to build the URL string. For example:
    url:{concat(SERVER,'/',IMAGE_DIR,'/',IMAGE_FILE)}
    where SERVER, IMAGE_DIR, and IMAGE_FILE are element names from your XML file that hold the values to construct the URL.
    This method can also be used with the OA_MEDIA reference as follows:
    url:{concat('${OA_MEDIA}','/',IMAGE_FILE)}

  • [Forum FAQ] Schedule multiple versions of System Image Backup in Windows 8.1

    As we known that there is no UI for user to configure Image backup in Windows 8.1, this is a guide for your to schedule multiple versions of System Image Backup.
    Step 1: Create a task to schedule an image backup with following command:
    SCHTASKS /Create /SC WEEKLY /D MON /TN WeeklyFullBackup /RL HIGHEST /ST 13:00 /TR “wbAdmin Start Backup -backupTarget:F: -include:C: -allCritical -quiet”
    Step 2: Schedule a robocopy to backup the saved image with BAT file:
    Please create a new folder (in this example, the new folder is e:\test2) to save your multiple copies of image backup:
    Write following batch file to copy backup and rename with backup date:
    *****************BAT********************
    @echo off
    robocopy e:\test1\ e:\test2\ test.wim
    ren e:\test2\test.wim  test_%date:~10,4%%date:~7,2%%date:~4,2%_%time:~0,2%%time:~3,2%.wim
    NOTE: e:\test2 is my location to save multiple copies of image backup; e:\test1 is the location I create the system image backup.
    This BAT can also help to rename the copy of image backup with date and time like below:
      3.  Set up a basic task in Task schedule:
    Note: please make sure the time you configured follows the time you set for image backup in Step 1.
    Action -> Create basic task (Name you task) -> Trigger (Set how often this task should be run) -> Action (Start a program) -> Under Program/script, point to your bat file you create in Step 2.b -> Finish
    At the end, you can know more about SCHTASKS and Robocopy via following links:

  • How can i perform system image recovery in windows 8.1 hp pavilion g6

    recently i upgrade my hp pavilion g6 to 8.1pro..i need to create an system image file of my windows 8.1..so plz give me a detailed procedure...to store it on dvds/online hp backup recovery...
                                                   Is this image recovery working properly when my system got in big trouble???

    When requesting assistance, please provide the complete model name and product number of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.
    The above requested information can be found on the bottom of the computer, inside the battery compartment, or on the BIOS startup/setup screen. Please do not include the serial number. Please enter the model/product information into HP's Online Consumer Support page and post it here for our review.
    Please use Windows "System Image Backup" utility to create an exact image of the Windows 8.1 partition as it currently is, on an external hard drive. You may also need to create a Windows "repair" disc. If your computer developes issues or you need to replace the hard drive, all you have to do is "restore" the image to the computer. Please see Windows 8.1 Tip: Use System Image Backup for instructions on creating and restoring a "Windows - System Image Backup."
    This process is not a system recovery and is different than using Window Restore or Refresh, or HP System Recovery.
