No Images in Navigation Entries

I see there are image attributes for navigation bar entries and I have set them, but only the text label shows up in my navigation bar. I've looked at the templates, but it only shows a #BODY# substitution string, so I can't see how the entries are constructed. Does anyone know how to get the template to use the images when specified? Thanks.

If a file has 'missing file (yellow question mark) badge' on it then it indicates- that particular file (or set of files) is either renamed, moved, deleted from (outside the knowledge of organizer). But as mentioned in this post 'external hard drive' presents itself as an internal drive (not as a removable drive), so if you detach your external hard drive then files imported from the external drive will be shown missing.
If a file has 'offline (red button similar to shutdown icon on windows) badge' on it, it indicates- that particular files (or set of files) were improrted from a CD/DVD/removable drive (flash drive)/network drive. Once you connect the drive the red badge would be gone.
Coming to your question: Yes, you can do anything in organizer (tagging, creating album, searching) except editing and sharing.

How to view satellite image during navigation with google maps iphone 5

I am a new iPhone convert. I switched from the HTC EVO that used Google Navigation. Google Navigation in Android allows the user to see the image of the map during actual navigation to be the satellite view instead of the standard map view. I downloaded the Google Navigation App to my iPhone 5 but I can't get the map to switch to satellite view. I can only get the satellite view up for the overview map. Once navigation starts, the screen pops back over to the standard map view. How do I view the satellite image during navigation? Please help....

I don't believe that is an option in Google Maps for iOS.

Image from blog entry page not showing up on 'home' page of blog

My first blog entry went well. I created a blog first page, then created an entry, and dragged a picture to that entry. I saved, published, and all looked great. Even the comment area worked. But when I created a second entry page, and dragge a picture to it, and saved, the photo is not showing up on that first page of the blog, the one that reads like a list only with a picture and teaser part of the entry...See http://web.me.com/brendatharp1/brendatharpblog/OnTheRoad/OnTheRoad.html
The entry listing is there on the first page, and when you click on the title link, it takes you to the entry page and the photos are there. I noticed that on the first page, the Sept 13th entry with photo is inside a text box of sorts - this was the layered paper template I used and then modified. Dbl-clicking to make that box interactive shows the black floating box for dealing with the placement of the photo in that list; but that box only relates to that one photo from the 13th. If I drag and drop the 15th's photo there, it just sits over the text and doesn't interact. AND I didn't have to do that with the first entry. Any ideas out there? Thanks much, Brenda.

I have experienced this and it was because I removed the placeholder and just added the image on the entry page. I duplicate blog entries and delete content to add new stuff so don't have to reformat every time, if you do that don't remove the image just add on the top - it should replace the previous image. Hope this helps, it is frustrating at times but the more you learn the easier it becomes.

Render a swf object(contains an image) in navigator not possible

Hy, I have a swf object that is an image(a circle). I have tried to render it in firefox but it doesnt render anything but I have tried with other swf object(not an image, an application) and it renders it ok. So can I render a swf file that is an image or is not possible? should I extract the image in it first to render on the navigator?

That particular code sample (#7 in SJSC, #8 in Netbeans) shows only how to serialize a file to a different location on the server, not how to reference a file (not stored within the app forlder) to be rendered as a result of hyperlink click for example. Reading a little further in that page, it says:
Be careful when putting the uploaded files in the web application as anyone can access the files by URL, such as http://localhost:29080/MyWebApplication/faces/upload/images/myPicture.gif.
So, I am thinking that for added security, may be it is meant to be that I can't make an imageComponent reference a file outside of the wep app folder, but I am just guessing. In which case, I will simply have to store all such files within the web app folder before attempting to access them, unless someone has a better answer.

Image Object Navigation Bar

Hi.
I am using DWCS3 to insert the navigation bar into my
templates. Everything is woorking smoothly, except one little
problem.
My navigation bar contains rollever images are in different
colors (e.g., red, blue, green) Home | Contact | About Us.
When I clicked on About Us, I would like the rollerover
button stay pressed down (green), so I know that I am visiting the
page.
Does anyone know what I need to tweak to get it to work like
I mentioned above?

I am finding browsers like IE6 increasingly impossible to
work with, every error that dreamweaver seems to report for browser
compatability seems to be because of this. As far as I know there
is no simple way around this, I will be watching this thread to see
what others have to say though!
I have seen when looking at HTML some site's have a <IF
IE6> or something along them lines, can anyone shed anymore
light?

could anyone tell me, what I have to do, to display a image in the "Navigation Bar".
I select a image in section "Image Attributes", but it isn't displayed?

First question:
- I realized, that my images will not shown with the IE 7?
Second problem I have:
- is there a way to define a second variable besides #NAVIGATION_BAR# maybe #NAVIGATION_BAR_1# and redirect items defined in the application under the "Shared Components" --> "Navigation Bar" to that variable?
Purpose is to have two navigation bars and show e.g. two items in the first, the next item in the second bar.
Do you have answers for the two questions?

Using Insert/Images Objects/Navigation Bar - weird quirks

DW CS4
When I go to the above path in DW to add a navigation bar and add a few elements, the code produced seems fine (I'm talking strictyl about the sentence case of the code - all lowercase). Now if I go to Modify/Navigation Bar to add a few more elements, the additional code is now in a different case (it's in sentense case - first letter capital). For example:
When I first insert a navigation bar, some resulting code is
onmouseover="MM_nbGroup('over','home','','',1)"
but when I go to modify the navigation bar, the additional code added now becomes
onMouseOver="MM_nbGroup('over','galleries','','',1)"
I know how to quickly find/replace to fix this, but this is just weird to me why DW would use two different sentence cases. Is that just a function of the software, or is there some setting I'm missing to make sure ALL code is in lowercase? I already have my default tag case <lowercase>
Test it out yourself and let me know if anyone gets the same results or knows why this is happening.

I just noticed something else... on initial creation, the code includes id="", but when I modify/add to the nav bar, there is no id="" included (I have to manually add that code)... what the crap is going on??

Unicode is the character set encoding -- not the same as DTD.
I can't recreate your experience with DW on Windows Vista.

How to align DTN navigation Entries

Hi All
I am using our custom generated Theme in portal.
I changed the Image Expand and collapse icon in theme level.
but now the image for expand or collapse(arrow image) appears at the edge of the screen. i want to move it some 10 px to right.
i tried to change it by editing theme in following location
Portal Outer Frame > Navigation Panel > Tray Body of Navigation Panel
Border width of tray body to 0px 0px 0px 10px
but i am not successful.
can anyone please help me regarding this matter.

Images in Navigation Bar

Hi I'm new to iweb I've just published my site online (still in progress) when I publish it from a local folder everything looks in order, however when i publish the site online it adds images to some of the tabs in the navigation bar. I've deleted the page several times and inserted a new home page but unfortunately this problem still crops up. I would be gratfeul if someone could help me solve this problem.

I think you use the Modern Frame theme which has the links in the navbar right-aligned.
You added tab-like images, but these do not fit the links.

Solve it by hiding the nav bar and use textboxes with links and place them on top of the images, or use these images as background of the textboxes.

Adding background image to navigation tabs

I am adding a backgraound image to a navigation tab and so far have found the only way to do this is by modifying the HTMLTableCell class and adding a method that sets the background image. The closest existing method is setBgColor - which doesn't work.
I'm sure there has to be a better way to do this?

My favorite technique is to use CSS. Try this in a stylesheet:
BODY { background-image: url(marble.gif); background-color: #cccccc; } P { background-image: none; background-color: #cccccc; }

Image Rollover Navigation

Can anyone point me to instructions for creating a horizontal navigation bar, images only. I know a bit of html but not tons.
I'll need a link, hover & active state for the 6 images below. I have SCOURED the web and not found instructions. I'd be so grateful for the help.
Below is what I'm trying to do. Image will be green on hover & active. Many thanks for your help!

The best way to do what you want would be to use one image that contains all of the states for your buttons.
Set the image up in rows. All of the off states across the top in a line (with a little separation), then the hover on the next line, then the active on the last.
You would then set up your <a> tags as display:block with a height and width that would fit one button state in your css. From there, you would use css to add the same background-image to all of the <a> tags. You would then position them individually using background-position (with pixel setting) so only the state you want shown would be visible on a class specific to each. Then for your :hover and :active states, you would simply change the background-image position to the next rows.
This way, only one image needs to load and it loads right away. All image states would then be instant changes without the need for a preload script (no white flash during rollovers).
Something like...

You should be able to follow a css tutorial after familiarizing yourself with the CSS Designer.
If you don't understand html and css in and of themselves, and you have a budget, you may want to get the Menu Magic DW Extension from Project VII. That would allow you to use the DW Design View interface to make a menu.
If you have a fair understanding of the basics though, any "jquery menu" or "pure css menu" available freely on the web would do the trick. The vast majority of them come with a quick how to that includes mostly copy/paste instructions.

Icon images in navigation model

Version: Spaces PS3
Is it possible to show images (from content server) for navigation menu item in the naivigation model. If anyone done this before please share updates.

I have already tired that. The image does not appear in the Spaces Page. howveer when I am creating the navigation model in Spaces it does appear.
I have tried a lot on modifying the inlinestyle of the decorative box containing the binding for the navigation model in my Page template. But the image does not however appears.
I am using my navigation model as a default navigation model in my Spaces.

Dear Implementators,

I have a similar issue. I have made the "Enable Text Wrapping in Detailed Navigation" property to TRUE. But I want to "Fix word wrap so that everything indents in the same line at the same level"
