No more bus list!

Hi, has anyone met this before : in one of my concerts (not all of them, that's the strange part), I'm not able to see the bus and output list anymore, when trying to send a channel into a bus!! However the existing Sends are working, so the busses are indeed working, but I can't manage them anymore!

    Hi in audio hardware and drivers 64 busses is unchecked, and my environment only has 32 busses yet when i select a bus there is 64 available, 32 in bold and 32 greyed out (out of use). How can i get around this so i can only have 32 busses.

    When i select a bus send on a channel there is a list of 64
    busses and the first 32 are only enabled.
    There has been a thread about this a few months ago.
    You have enabled the 64-busses option at some point, hence the bus list has geon from 32 to 64 items. Then you turned it off again, so only 32-busses are available.
    However, Logic doesn't shrink the flip menu back to 32 entries, so you still see 64-entries, but only the first 32 are enabled, and the remaining 32 inactive ones are greyed out and disabled.
    It's a minor display glitch - do a search for the original thread for more info.

  • More Bulleted List Weirdness (TCS3)

    I have a linked FrameMaker book into my RH9 project. I'm using the RHStyleMapping.css for all my topics. My Frame styles are linked to a RH style (source) and I'm using the 'convert Autonumber to HTML List' setting for both levels. I'm outputting to AIRHelp browser based help.
    In Frame I have 2 levels of bulleted lists.
    My converted styles are:
    p.FM_Bulleted
    p.FM_Bulleted_indent
    When these topics are converted, something strange is happening to my second level indent. Here is the style used in a section of a numbered list:
    This is how it should be.
    However, where I have used the same style in the middle of my first level bulleted list, it comes out like this (from Telnet to rlogin):
    When I look at the HTML for the generated page (the WYSIWYMG is ok), what seems to be happening is that the '_' between Bulleted and indent in p.FM_Bulleted_indent is being removed when included as part of a bulleted list, causing the problem.
    Any ideas how this can be happening?

    Welcome to the paragraph composer. InDesign's text composition engine is
    far more advanced than XPress'. It looks at the entire paragraph.
    You can turn it off, but I don't advise it. Instead, if you need words
    to stay together, use a no break attribute (create a character style for
    it).
    You say it's off, but there's no way it would be acting that way if it
    were. Look in the paragraph panel and the paragraph styles.

  • Suggestion: Home button setting needs more apps listed

    I would like to set my Camera as the app that loads when I press my Home button twice, but right now owners are stuck with iPod, Favorite contacts, and the Home screen as the only options available. I'd like to see at least most of the default apps listed in the next release please.

    Although I think screenshots of 3.0 say more options are coming with the summer update. Just a vague recollection, and betas change, but I think maybe Camera was an option, but not most of the default apps. I think it was only a couple more options.

  • "More bookmarks" list does not appear

    Randomly,when I click this icon " >> " in order to see more bookmarks,nothing appears.If I refresh the page it works just fine,but after five minutes,or so, it might happen again.

    Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

  • If I resize job history log to see more entries listed under job history, will cause sql server agent to restart or any downtime?

    Here is I am going to do:
    Using SQL Server Management Studio
    To resize the job history log based on raw size
    In Object Explorer, connect to an instance of the SQL Server Database Engine, and then expand that instance.
    Right-click SQL Server Agent, and then click Properties.
    Select the History page, and then confirm that Limit size of job history logis checked.
    In the Maximum job history log size box, enter the maximum number of rows the job history log should allow.
    In the Maximum job history rows per job box, enter the maximum number of job history rows to allow for a job.

    this change does not require SQL agent restart

    1) Whenever I change channels, I get an info overlay that shows time, channel, and brief info--it fills about lower 1/4 of screen and does not go away for 5-6 seconds. How to get rid of this display or display for 1-2 seconds so I can see what is on the screen. If I want to know what channel and info, I can always hit info button..........??
    or allow a "display channel only" option in modes (e.g., show HD channels only mode) or allow as a setup option to reduce the footprint/area of this info
    2)Re favorites and modes, allow more favorite lists and allow choosing which in modes function as above
    3)Need better management options re choosing & deleting recorded program to get away from time consuming drop down lists and subcategories e.g. all recorded:  alphabetically or by date

    If you hit the EXIT button on the lefthand side of the remote next to the circle of Arrow Buttons, it will immediately remove the info.  There is a way to change the amount of time this info stays on the screen (I changed mine way back when I first switched to FIOS), but I don't remember how.  Found it somewhere in the menu selections - I think for the remote or maybe the display sections.  Anyway, it's in there!  Hope that helps.

  • Can Logic 8 have more than 64 buses?

    If I click on an audio channel"s send, I am presented with 64 numbered buses. Is this Logic's default number or can a user add more buses. This is different I realize from Logic 7's "bus channels" which are not really used in Logic 8 anymore. Any insight would be appreciated!

    64 Busses is the maximum amount of Busses you can have in Logic - I remember in L7 there was a preference of either having 32 or 64 Busses - in L8 you always have 64 available. If you create Bus tracks in your environment and save them in your template they will show up in your Mixer and will not be automatically assigned to Auxes which is the normal behaviour in Logic 8.
    In my templates I always have Busses 1-4 available for things like Bus recording and side chaining. My effect Busses start from Bus 5 onwards being autaomatically routed to the first availlable free Aux channel.

    The USA site isn't listing ANY (dual 3GHz or quad), on the Specials page for me to compare but in the past the dual quad-core were even then very rare birds. When they do, they were $2239 and $2499-ish. Awesome, but not as good a buy probably as the new 2008 +UNLESS+ you need to run Tiger and you can get them to include a copy of 10.4.11 with them.
    The stock *Early 2008 3.0GHz* is an *$800 extra* BTO

    I think you are seeing a "new" 2007 vs refurbished.

    Well, twice as much is still only 1GB more which is quite cheap, AND the ref'd models usually do come with 2GB (more than listed) and sometimes with the X1900. Also, 500GB drives have fallen in the last year from US$200+ to around $100 retail, so 250 vs 320GB is next to nothing.
    New would be 2008 model running on 1600MHz bus, and come with Radeon 2600. I am sure that isn't what you saw.
    New in this case seems to mean "liquidating." And I have bought new from Specials.

  • Multiply price list per Business partner

    does any one come accross information on how i assign Business partner 2 or more price list
    basicly what i want to do is  to give diffrent factors (price list) for diffrent Group of items , so each BP will have diffrent disscount for each group of items in the same time .
    Example :
    2 items from group  A will have Price List  50% disscount
    3 items from group  B will have Price List  45% disscount
    i want to assign  both Price List  for the same bussnies partner.

    I did something a while ago for a customer, the basics of it were as follows:
    Create a UDT to store the discount matrix
    Add a UDF to the UDT so that you can store the Customer Group
    Add a UDF to the UDT so that you can store the Item Group
    Add a UDF to the UDT so that you can store the Discount % for the combination of Customer & Item
    Add a formatted search to the Customer Group column in the UDT so you can lookup the OCRG table
    Add a formatted search to the Item Group column in the UDT so you can lookup the OITB table
    Then add a formatted search to the Discount % field so that it goes and gets the Discount % from the UDT where the Item Group is the Item group from the row item $\[$38.1.0\] and get the customer group from the BP on the form $\[$4.CardCode\]
    Hopefully that should give you a starting point for this and allow you to work out the rest yourself.

    Sorry, a couple of extra points, you can simplify this is you don't need to know the Customer Groups (e.g. all customers get the same discount %'s for the item groups)  or you can make this as complicated as you need it to be.

  • I like to manually create lists when I take notes, so is there a way to create a shortcut/hot key for different symbols in the Pages inspector?

    Not really a Pages user, but I am trying to make the switch from Word if I can figure out a few ways to customize Pages. I don't want to create a new paragraph style because I rearrange my lists a lot. I think there is a way to automatically create a custom list style, but I like to make lists manually because I frequently change things around. I would like to be able to manually add symbols. I know that Option + 8 will give me a bullet, but I would also like to use different symbols I found in inspector, like a black square and a black triangle. Anyone know if this is possible?

    If what you're looking for is a more flexible way of quickly just including any symbol of your preference when you're taking notes (without establishing a more structured list like picas suggestion) there are a number of ways to use keyboard shortcuts to get a variety of symbols.   • BUG: iCal: long list of emails received a notification is NOT scrolling

    Yet another "we don't bother with QA here at Apple" bug:
    1) I received via email a meeting.ics file.
    2) When I open iCal there is a notification panel.
    3) If I click the little icon next to the notification, it says my email address wasn't the one on my "me" card, and tells me to find my email address in the list (apparently everyone who got the same email).
    4) *The BUG* If there are more addresses listed than fit vertically on your screen and your name is lower on the list alphabetically that's too bad, because whatever high school kids wrote this code for Apple forgot to make it a scrolling text field.
    Yes, I would report this in a 'bugs' section of the Apple website if they would clearly label such a place on their website. No doubt Apple has such an email, but I couldn't find it navigating on the website, nor did anything relevant come up when I searched for "report bugs."

    I'm facing an issue on xslt list view web part.
    I created 2 xslt list view web part on the same page, the issue is: the edit menu only show on the first xslt list view wp, I don't see the edit menu in the second list view wp, I check the log and see that it raised an error message:
    "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'IsClientRendering' of undefined"
    Please help to give me some solutions to solve it.

    What I'm trying to do is to create a new Project from the scratch, update the Issues List, not deleting or modifying columns, just creating new columns in order to match the names he (the Project Manager) put in his Issues List, then Export the list to Excel,
    and then create a datasheet view matching the Exported list, but here I don't know how to import the list (copy / paste or whatsoever it can be done...)
    Do you know how to do it, or do you know another/any method to solve this problem?

    Hi José,
    2 considerations: 
    The first one is that (as you experienced) one should not delete or rename any of the predefined columns in the risk/issue list. What you did is the right way, meaning keeping the native column as is and creating new ones based on the business needs. Finally
    you just need to create view with the appropriate fields.
    Then for importing risks from an Excel list, I can't test it right now, but you should have a datagrid view (MS Access type) allowing you pasting data from Excel.

  • Create/Edit Smart Lists using DIM

    Hi!
    Is it possible to create or edit a smart list for a classic Planning 9.3.1 app using DIM?
    I already have a smart list in planning 9.3.1 which has a couple of entries (drop down members) but when I try to use DIM to add more smart list entries, I cannot even see the smart list listed as a dimension in DIM. i.e. when I import a Hyperion Planning Adapter and connect to a Planning application, all the dimensions show up in the target list but none of the smart lists show up. Is there another setting that I have to change for the classic world?
    In BMPA this would be a smart list dimension but what about a classic application?
    Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.
