How can I burn a dvd now that I can't download premiere pro cs6 with Encore?

Here's what you do to get Premiere CS6 + Encore:
Just click here (it's the same link as the more information link in CC.)
    or
Go to your Creative Cloud application (on the menu bar) and go to Adobe Premiere CC and click more information
There is a dropdown menu that says "Adobe Premiere Pro CC" near the top.
Click it and the other option is "Adobe Premiere Pro CS6."  Select that.
Now on the top right corner of the page it has a download button that says "Download Adobe Premiere Pro CS6."
It is included in your CC subscription.
However, a word of warning, you cannot use Adobe Dynamic Link to link to a Premiere CC sequence directly in Encore.  A CS6 sequence still works fine, but if you have a CC project, you will need to encode your sequence into a DVD friendly format (MPEG2 file).  I'm really hoping that Adobe changes this in their upcoming release, and just adds the ability to import CC sequences into Encore, then I would be fine with them not including it in the normal CC package, or updating it.  But I haven't seen anything about it in the release notes.
A lot of people still want their DVDs and it's a lot easier to just dynamically link the sequence.

  • Forcing Premiere Pro CS6 to Index Files.

The search bar is greyed out in the Project Panel in Premiere Pro CS6. Above the search box it says (Items to index 12). How do I get Premiere Pro CS6 to index files?

I ended up closing the Premiere and re-opening it and that prompted it to index everything. My co-worker had a few pieces of media whose link was broken because she had moved the files. She had to re-link those files to get Premiere to re-index.
    Hope that helps

  • Can I get Premiere Pro CS6 with CC membership?

I need to download Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 because I recently got hired by a company that works exclusively in CS6 and I need to be able to share projects with them. I was hoping I could download a version of CS6 with my CC membership. I pay 40$ monthly! It would be great if I could be told how to do that.

  • Audio Playback Issue Premiere Pro CS6 with AJA IO Express

I am running Premiere Pro CS6 on PC Windows7 64Bit with AJA Io Express. The video is playing back fine no issues there but the audio is struggling to playback. Sometimes it plays back fine but 90% of the time doesn't.
When I play it back it sounds as if I am moving forward frame by frame! Very strange.
I have already installed the latest drives for AJA Io Express.
    Premiere Pro Version 6.0.3
    AJA Io Express version 10.3.0
Anyone has been expereince the same issues please let me know or anyone that know what's happening or any kind of suggestions again let me know pls
    thanks

Since it worked with CS5.5, check with Blackmagic to see if they have updates for CS6
I know from other discussions that an nVidia driver update was needed for at least some people upgrading to CS6

  • Premiere Pro CS6 with external HDMI monitor

    Hello all
Is it possible to use an HDMI monitor as an external preview monitor when editing with Premiere Pro CS6?  If so, then how is it connected, and where can i find the correct tick box in
Premiere Pro CS6?  I have an apple iMac (early 2009) intel core 2 Duo (if this is relevant).
I need to be sure of the correct colour/look output, etc.
Any advice would be greatfully received.
    Thanks
    Karl.

    Hi Ferret Head,
    Please go to premiere pro>preferences>playback
and check the option for the second monitor under video device.
    Thanks

  • Premiere Pro CS6 and MXF Compatibility.

We have recently had a problem with audio dropping out during export using Premiere Pro CS6. This particular project file used a combination of footage from a Canon XH-A1 and a Canon XF305. It was created in CS5 (Not CS5.5) and was recently converted to a CS6 Project file. When we would export the sequence the video would have missing audio in several places.
We think it may be a compatibility issue with the MXF conatiner used by the XF305. I have seen other people mention issues they have encountered using a similar set up. Is this something that may be a an issue for us if we move forward using CS6 and the XF305 on all of our projects?
The problem was resolved by taking all the footage offline in CS6, deleting the render files, moving the cache folder and bringing everything back online.
We just want to make sure that everything is compatible like it should be and if not what kind of patches we could expect in the future? It would be preferable not to have to transcode our footage prior to importing into Premiere Pro.

I had this once too, and I "fixed" it by deleting the XMP files.

  • Change default Premiere Pro CS6 importing of files so it's NOT alphabetical

With Premiere Pro CS5, I was able to import my Photoshop files with multiple layers (shapes, text, images, etc) and they would appear in order of Photoshop organization. For example:
    Layers in Photoshop CS5:
    Logo
    Address
    Main Text
    Background
Importing them into Premiere Pro CS5:
    Logo
    Address
    Main Text
    Background
Notice the order stays the same.
Now that I have purchased CS6, everytime I try to import the layers into Premiere, they are imported alphabetically.
Layers in Photoshop CS6: (still same)
    Logo
    Address
    Main Text
    Background
Importing them into Premiere Pro CS6: (now alphabetical)
    Address
    Background
    Logo
    Main Text
How do I change the default setting so it imports in the same order as Photoshop? I would like this version to be the new default as I use this everyday for work.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    CS6 newbie, CS5 intermediate

In both cases, the PSD imported in the exact order I had it in Photoshop.  I even went back into Photoshop, changed the order, reimported and it came in with the new order.  So unfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce the issue.  Which means I have no means to find a cause or test a fix.

  • Exporting multiple audio channels from Premiere Pro CS6 in MXF OP1a

I have a Premiere Pro project with multiple audio channels and I want to export them as individual channels in a MXF-file.
    Method:
When I created a new sequence I choose "Multichannel" from the "Tracks" page. When I export the MXF OP1a, I choose 8 channels from the "Audio" page. I make sure that none of the channels are muted.
    Result:
The rendered file contains 8 channels as I want it to, but only the first two channels contains audio (main left + right), the rest of the channels are empty. Channel 1 and 2 contains the audio from all channels, but I want the channels to be seperated in the same way as they are layered in Premiere.
Any ideas what I can do?
    Thank you for your help!

    Hey Guys,
I'm having problems exporting an 8 channel audio mxf for a broadcast client. The mix they want is as follows:
Track 01: Full Programme Mix L
Track 02: Full Programme Mix R
    Track 03: International Sound L
    Track 04: International Sound R
Track 05: Music and Effects L
Track 06: Music and Effects R
    Track 07: VO Mono
    Track 08: Interview Mono
I have setup the sequence following this video on vimeo and am fairly confident I have the sequence settings correct. https://vimeo.com/38501157
I also can export a multichannel mxf. But all my tracks are exported as mono and I am therefore not maintaining my L and R as set up in my sequence
The problem is on exporting that since Tracks 01 and 02 are bounced down to 1 + 2 it means that my Track 01 (Panned L) is getting bounced down onto my Track 02 aswell and thus it does not remain seperate. Has anyone delivered a similar format for a broadcaster and come across this problem with Premiere Pro and know a solution?
Any help would be much appreciated
    Thanks
    Eamonn

  • Premiere Pro CS6 with Mavericks Crash

I am running CS6 on a Late 2012 27" i7 iMac. I read the initial statement from Adobe saying that everything should work fine with Mavericks, so I upgraded. Now, in Premiere it seems to open fine but as soon as a try to open any media in the media browser it freezes. When I navigate to the destination folder in the browser and the individual clips come up they get stuck on Proccessing.... then I get the beach ball, indefinitely. I tried this with clips both on my hard drive and on external harddrive. I also reinstalled Premiere. I can get it to open a clip if I just put one short one in a folder, but much more than that and it locks up. I never have had any issues whatsoever, until Mavericks.

I managed to talk to someone on Adobe.
He took remote control over my computer, opened up the ROOT user ability, then we logged in using that admin account. When we then went to Prelude, it worked fine with the videos crashing the system before.
His conclusion: something is wrong with my current user settings. System functions at root level. This means I should create a new user with fresh settings and then carry all my files and folders from the existing one to there, and delete the existing one.
I spoke to someone on Apple on how to do this and got some tips (it's by using migration of the user data from one to another, so that I could keep my older data). That did not work. Then I just created a fresh account with no settings transferred. That also failed.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe CS6 several times with different combinations with the above actions. That also didn't do it.
I can re-create the proper functioning under root level. So, clearly, the videos are fine, my system is not, and the way I am dealing with it is also not fine. I will keep digging. Perhaps I can find someone on Apple tomorrow to tell me what next I can try. I worry that I will have to format my computer and start all over again with all the apps and settings.

  • When is Adobe going to fix the problem CS6 Premiere Pro has with AVCHD files?

First they wanted me to reformat all my files from .mts to .mpg thru format factory, but that is to much time wasted and lose of quality!  Then they directed me to a patch by Sony, but that didn't work either.  They need to fix this!

You can file a CS6 bug report here:

Under: "Upgrade eligibility, pricing, and purchasing options"
"Adobe will continue to make Creative Suite 6 available as a perpetual

continue to be available for purchase by Electronic Software Delivery

  • Premiere pro cs6 should support file gxf grass valley? where we can download a codec for if any?

    hi
we will need to make qc using cs6 on mac with aja t-tap
anyone know if there's codecs for gxf supported by premiere ?

    Hi everyone, just to update:
I seem to have fixed the issue!
No idea what it was, but it would either have been:
    a) rebooting my MacBook (unlikely!)
    b) updating the Apple firmware
    c) updating the Apple Retina Display update
    d) ....all of the above!
It actually started working before going onto 10.8.3, so not related to OS X.
In which case, apologies for the lengthy post - hope it helps anyone in the same situation in the future. Moral of the story: update the Apple software!

  • Premiere Pro CS6 Generates HUGE file - Encoder settings help please

Using PPCS6 to create a 6 minute AVI file. The source video is an AVI screen capture from Camtasia for an application that is spread across 3 widescreen monitors, making the screen/video resolution 5760x1200 with a frame rate of 30. I need to output the same resolution/aspect ratio (Camtasia will not do this, hence my use of Premiere).
The initial screen capture is just under 2GB.
The AVI output from Media encoder is 45GB which is just too big to use.
Is there some settings I can use that will create a file of approximately the same size (under 3GB) and still look as sharp as the original capture?
    My current encoder settings are:
    Codec: Microsoft Video 1
    Quality: 90
    Width: 5760
    Height: 1200
    Frame Rate: 30
    Field Order: Lower First
    Aspect: Square Pixels (1.0)
    Depth: 8-bit
    Keyframe Interval: 8
    Optimize Stills checked.

Camtasia files use their own TechSmith codec (TSCC) which is highly optimized for screen captures where hardly anything changes from frame to frame, and realistically you can't beat it with any of the default codecs, which are designed for full-motion video. With MV1 that file size is about what I'd expect from such a massive resolution. Also, do you really need 30fps? Most screencaps will look OK at 15 or even 12 at a push.
You should be able to encode back to AVI/TSCC if you have Camtasia on the same machine as Prem, if not you can download the codec pack for free from Techsmith's website.
