"no registered products" in may account

I am trying to retrieve my serial number so I registered my Photoshop CS5 to find it, I then logged into my account and went to my products only to find it say that I have "no registered products"...Help!!!

I am having this EXACT problem. I chatted with 3 people in customer care and after some research I found many people have this problem. They said this "Justin: We are sorry, there is no issue like that with Adobe and the serial numbers will be replicated under our application although it may not be replicated for customer."

    I installed Acrobat XI Pro upgrade using the vendor supplied serial number and also registered the product. When I look at my onlibe account the product is not listed, and when I try to add it with the supplied SN, I am told to enter a valid SN.

    For whatever it's worth, I've had the same "problem."  I recently purchased PS Elements 12 through Amazon.  I installed it onto a new Windows 7 64 bit desktop from the Adobe DVD provided.  (There were no prior Photoshop installations on the machine, trial versions or otherwise.)  I entered the serial number enclosed in the product box during the initial set-up process.    When I opened the program for the first time after completing the set-up and rebooting, the Welcome screen advised me to register my product.  I had to first create an ID on Adobe to do so.   Once that was done, I followed the instructions under Your Registered Products to add Photoshop Elements 12, using the same product serial number entered previously.  The site accepted it, recognizing what the product was from the number.  A note advised me that the products list could take up to 30 minutes to update.  When I checked back a couple of hours later, however, it still showed that I have no registered products. I have repeated the registration drill twice with the same results.  Now, a couple of days later, it still shows I have no registered Adobe products. 
    Apparently my PS Elements 12 is properly activated, though you'd certainly never know that from looking at any of the info screens online or from anything that's displayed inside the open program itself.  I'm guessing that online activation and registration must be two entirely different things.  The program itself appears to be running flawlessly. 
    One thing I've picked up on from this is the importance of keeping a backup copy of your product serial number in a safe place.   You're probably not going to be able to log onto the Adobe site and recover from there later, if it happens to get lost.

    Today I logged into My Adobe. Under "My products", I saw my serial numbers for my 2 copies of Photoshop (CS4 and CS6).
    I decided to update my Adobe ID to use a new email address. I went to My Preferences and changed my Adobe ID. Then, I re-logged in using my new email address. Unfortunately, my 2 serial numbers have now disappeared from "My products". It simply says "You have no registered products."
    What's going on? How do I get my serial numbers back?

    The products are registered to your original Adobe user ID. When your changed you account ID you may have created a new user ID which would have no Products registered to it.   If that is what happened your original user id should still be valid and have your registered products.  You can add your new e-mail address to that account as the  Alternate e-mail address. Try using you old Adobe ID.... If the works use it and don't mess with youy Adobe ID account name....
    I had problems in the past my original Adobe ID was JJMACK not an email address.  Back in the PS3 time frame.  In layer years Adobe seemed to insist on a email id.  My account became unusable all my products were lost an I had to work with Adobe to recover my products. In the process PS3 and PS5 were lost forever but they're old and I may even have the CD and serial numbers.  I do not know if they would even run on Windows 7 and if they would only the serial in needed for they had no activation other then the serial.

    You can see my accoumd no longer has PS 3 or PS 5 it did but has two CS 2 one listed as Photoshop 9 the other as CS 2 because of the change in activation servers.

  • I have two issues. 1) unable to update Acrobat XI Pro and 2) unable to register product

    First issue: I have for the second time installed Acrobat xi pro and then click on "check for updates" from the help menu. And it shows that an update is available. But when I update it I am given the following error message:
    Error 1328. Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\PT669B.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor."
    When I click on "details" I am sent to adobe's "update error" page. Which states the following for error 1328: Error applying patch to [filename]. It's likely that something else updated the file, and the patch can't modify it. For more information, contact your patch vendor.
    I have tried uninstalling program and re-installing program but still get same error message from my attempt at updating. So I am not sure if program is update or not. And I do not know who my "patch vendor" is.
    Second issue: Unable to register product with Adobe. Because the option to do so from the "help" menu which lists "product registration" is greyed/dimmed out. Therefore not giving me the ability to register this product. Please let me know what is causing this problem.

    I am not sure, but will suggest some things to try. On the activate issue, it may be that your system already thinks it is activated and so you might try the deactivate and check. If that works, I would suggest you then uninstall, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, remove anything left of the Acrobat folder, reboot, and reinstall. Hopefully you can open Acrobat and activate. Then do the updates from the Help menu.

    Or you can simply use the Restore option of Disk Utility to clone the drive to the backup:
    Clone using Restore Option of Disk Utility
    Open Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
    Select the destination volume from the left side list.
    Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
    Check the box labeled Erase destination.
    Select the destination volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
    Select the source volume from the left side list and drag it to the Source entry field.
    Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
    Destination means the external backup drive. Source means the internal startup drive.

    It's beta. It's no where near ready for prime time. It's put out there so that developers can start getting their products ready fo the new release.
    I've been working in IT for over 25 years. People have gotten the wrong idea about what a beta is thanks to the likes of google, who release a product to market and call it "beta" just so they don't actually have to support it. I've beta tested operating systems going all the way back to OS/2 when it was still a joint Microsoft/IBM project. Believe me, you do NOT want beta versions of operating systems getting into the hands of the unwashed masses. It would quickly turn from 'getting rid of bugs' to outright revolt.

    I got the same message trying to make an entry in SPRO:
    Define Backend System for Product Category
    I found the note 305942 describing exactly the issue for my and above mentioned entry, which offers the correction, then the note 326802 which offers the correction of the first notes. However, both notes are for Releases 4.6C and D (from 2000), and we are using EHP2 FOR SAP SRM 7.0.
    I see another discussions in SCN regarding this topic, but haven't found real solution yet. Any hints? At least the answer to previous question from Sharan would be appreciated.

    The ""not recognized for on-line use". error is associated with the Gracenote service that iTunes uses to look up and retrieve metadata for CDs.  Some users have reported that this error occurs when trying to import from CD, subsequent to upgrading to version 12.  A number of slightly different solutions have been reported (though all of a similar nature).
    Try walking through the following steps - before starting you may have to enable hidden files and folders to be viewed - in Windows 7 / Windows Explorer select Organize > Folder and search options, then on the View tab make sure that Show hidden files, folders and drives is selected.  Without this you won't see the AppData folder in C:\Users\username\
    Exit iTunes
    In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
    Delete the following files:
    CD Info.cidb
    com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
    Restart iTunes
    Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
    If this doesn't work:
    In iTunes, select Edit > Preferences and make a note (or take a screenshot) of your preferences settings in all relevant tabs
    Exit iTunes
    In Windows Explorer, go to the folder C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes
    Delete the following file:iTunesPrefs.xml
    Restart iTunes
    Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
    If this second procedure does work, you'll need to restore other iTunes preferences settings to those that you noted in step 1.
    If this one didn't work:
    Exit iTunes
    Check the following folders:
    C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Apple Computer\iTunes
    C:\Users\username\AppData\LocalLow\Apple Computer\iTunes
    Delete any copies of the following files:
    CD Info.cidb
    com.apple.iTunes.Gracenote.plist
    iTunesPrefs.xml
    Restart iTunes
    Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
    Again, if this procedure does work, you'll need to restore other iTunes preferences settings to those that you noted in step 1 of the second procedure. If you're still not able to retrieve CD info:
    Exit iTunes
    In Windows, select Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features.  Find the entry for iTunes, right-click and select Repair.
    When this process has finished, restart iTunes
    Insert a CD and see if details are now correctly retrieved from Gracenote
    If none of these have worked (and almost everything I've seen suggests you should be OK by this point), you may have an issue with the installation and configuration of iTunes itself.  If you have got this far, see turingtest2's notes on Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for advice on how to remove and replace of all components of iTunes.

Now I've been trying to install Creative Cloud on a second computer and it keeps asking me for my serial number.     Ok because in your account it's has a place to register your product that's why I asked since it didn't ask me for any keys or serial numbers so when I downloaded the app a week ago I looked around but never found out anything.

    When I log into my support profile, I can only see 2 of my products listed... and I really needed info on one that was not shown in the list... BUT when I submitted the SN again, it says that the product had already been registered.... How do I see ALL of my registered products?

    I have the same issue. Products I registered more than 3-4 years ago do not appear on the support profile and when I check the SN I get the message that the products are already registered to another Id.
    Since I first registered these products, I have changed the country associated with my apple-Id . I wonder if that may be the issue.
