"No S user is assigned to your user"

Hello Sapstars,
I have added few patches into download basket in the market place                         
when trying to approve the patches in solution manager system,
I could an error "No S user is assigned to your user"
I have upgraded the patch level of my solution manager system to stack 17
Is that anything to do with the error,
I got this doubt because I have succesully approved and downloaded many patches
and now at this point of time Im getting the error,
Can anyone suggest me what might be the cause and solution.

                    Yes , I could solve the problem
Actually when we get the error "NO S-USER IS ASSIGNED TO YOUR USER" in the status bar click on the long text there u will find the solution it says,
Go to T-code SM_CONFIG_JOBS
In that you will find AI_SC_REFRESH_READ_ONLY_DATA execute that or schedule that
now you give the SAPUSER and S-USER ID and save it
now you can approve the patches in solution manager

    We had the same issue, it turns out that the person who is raising the requisition has 2 Business partners in the system. We set one business partner to be "not released" and in addition to that we added the NA relation as this is missing with the CP
    MfG.

    I am able to create an urgent correction to later authorize it and set the automatically created request to "In Development" status, but after this I get the following message and can not continue to the Created status.

    Message text: There is no valid business partner assigned to your user
    I would also like to know where (transaction) and how to eliminate change requests.
    My user was assigned to me with the following roles:
    SAP_CM_REQUESTER
    SAP_CM_CHANGE_MANAGER
    SAP_CM_DEVELOPER_COMP
    SAP_CM_TESTER_COMP
    SAP_CM_OPERATOR_COMP
    SAP_CM_ADMINISTRATOR_COMP
    Do I need any additional roles? Must I assign a BP to my user? If so, where (transaction) and how (will I need aditional priveleges)?

    Yes, I am referring to SOLMAN. Where must I do this, what transaction? I tried BP transaction but it only permits me to establish relations between BP's and not with users. I am sorry, but I am fairly new to SOLMAN and need a little more direction. Maybe if you have a good SOLMAN guide for beginners, I would deeply appreciate you sharing it with me.

    You are in deep waters here...
    First step is to create a Catalog and add Chips to the Catalog. I am assuming that you have already performed this step:
    Go to the URL mentioned in the image and perform this step
    Second step is to create a page and assign the Catalog to the Page:
    Go to the URL mentioned in the image and perform this step
    For some reason, in my HREMPLOYEE page, the Catalog is blank but it still works for me (probably because it is default setup... I am trying to figure that out too but no luck yet...) You can see other pages for reference.
    Now, the third part is assigning the page to the ABAP role:
    Again, the below screenshot is from the standard role, but you need to ensure that all settings are maintained.
    Assign the role to employees and they should see the chips that are assigned to the catalog.
    This again is just a small piece of the puzzle... there are lot more customizing settings that needs to happen to ensure you have a working product.

    If new versions of iPhoto and the other iLife applications (iMovie and GarageBand) were purchased by the previous owner from the Mac App Store, then they will be locked to the previous owner's Apple ID and cannot be transferred to you. You will have to re-purchase them under your own Apple ID.
    If this is an older MBA that came with Snow Leopard or an earlier version of Mac OS X, though, the system would have come with an installation disk that included the iLife applications, a disk which the seller should have provided to you. Those iLife applications would be older versions, of course, and may or may not work in Lion depending on how old they are.

    Hello and welcome to the Palm forums.
    Do you have any info on your Tungsten palm that you do not want to lose? If you do have info on your TE2 that you do not want to lose, write back here for more instructions. If there is no new info on the TE2, you can go ahead and do a hard reset.
    A hard reset wipes everything off your palm. It is performed by holding down the power button while sticking something thin (your stylus, paper clip) into the back reset hole of your device. Keep your hand on the power button while you release the paper clip from the reset hole. The screen will now say "Palm Powered." Take your hand off the power button. You will now see a screen in 5 languages prompting you to erase all data from the palm. The screen will say "erase all data? Yes - up, no - down" and you need to click on the up arrow (silver button on the 5 way navigator on the bottom of the palm). This will erase all the info from your device.
    Now you should sync your palm. When you begin sync'ing, the computer will prompt you, "there is no user name associated with this account..." select your old user name (from your Zire 31) and then all the info will come onto your (new TE2) palm.

  • New Role does not appear in home page after assigned to a user

    I'm new at SAP Portals.
    I've created a role and assigned it to an user, but the corresponding tab does not appear in home page.
    I've already changed permitions to a group that is assigned to the user.
    I've seen in some posts that the role's property "Entry point" should have value "Yes", but mine is set to "No". Meanwhile, I can't change it. When I open the role and press button "Properties" nothing happens. The only way I can check role's properties is through "Delta Link tracer", but there I can't change them.
    Can you help me, make the new tab (corresponding to role) happear in home page menu?

    to track down you problem, you click on "properties", but you can't see the properties? They won't get loaded and therefor, you can't edit the property?
    What's your portal version + SPS, which browser are you using + version (IE, FF) and how do you access the portal? IP, FQDN? Are you getting any error message in the browser?
    What profile is assigned to your user? What kind of roles are you trying to modify? A new one, or a SAP pre-delivered portal role?

           If you want no user wants to use a particuler T code, you can lock the tcode using SM01 (Lock transactions).If you want to know the T codes assigned to a user go to  T code SUIM - > Roles---> BY user assignment -
    > feed your user name & execute (F8). In the next menu on application tool bar you will find Transaction assignment tab click the tab that's it  you will find list of t codes you are allowed to use in the client.For this you can also use S_BCE_68001419 directly insted.

    Hi Hakan,
    We can achieve this by using two T.Code SU01 and SUIM.
    First check in SUIM,the T.Code that you want to block  T.Code is belongs to which role.
    For finding it Click on roles.Click on transaction assignment.Enter your T.code and execute.
    After finding this goto SU01 and unassign that role for that user.
    In this way we can block the user to use one particular T.Code.
    For providing authorisation,add the role to the user id in SU01 T.Code.
    Run SU53 T.Code after running the failure T.Code to know all the errors.
    Please contact your BASIS person for all these.

    When I try to set the the (urgent) correction in Development i get the following error.
    There is no valid business partner assigned to your user.
    Meanwhile the appropriate BP-entry for the user exists:
    External BP number: <SID> <CLNT> <user name>
    Identification number: <SID> <installation number> <user name>
    Furthermore I have the following error, when I try to approve the change request:
    Partner 141 (Change-Manager) is neither an employee nor an organizational unit
    I would be great to get some help here.

       In BP under identification tab,
       ID type    idenification number
      CRM001 <SID> <installation number><CLNT><username>
    2.Partner 141 (Change-Manager) is neither an employee nor an organizational unit
    Assign the BP role as "Employee" for Change Manager

    The userpic, the image tiles used for your account picture, is located, in different resolutions, in the following folder: C:\Users\Public\AccountPictures\%UserAccountSecurityIdentifier%
    where %UserAccountSecurityIdentifier% is a placeholder for the Security IDentifier (SID) assigned by the operating system or domain controller to your user account.
    Here is how it looks like:
    NOTE: If your are using multiple account for login to your computer, like local Security Account Manager (SAM) account (standard account created and stored on your local PC in NTFS), your Microsoft Account (the one using internet account name provided
    by Microsoft such as [email protected],
    [email protected]), or an Active Directory account, please open root C:\Users\Public\AccountPictures\ folder and browse to the folder with the name of the SID assigned to your user account for which you want to change the user picture.
    To find out what SID refers to what user account name used on your PC, proceed with the following:
    Start the elevated command prompt by pressing WindowsKey+Q and typing
    cmd, then hitting Enter.
    At the command prompt type: wmic useraccount get name,sid and press
    Enter.
    This will return a table with all user accounts registered on this computer (that is those who had once logged onto this PC) and their corresponding SIDs.
    Now lookup this registry key:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AccountPicture\Users
    And locate the subkey (named correspondingly to the desired SID), then remove REG_SZ values that contain paths to the userpic images to remove traces of userpics.

    For this you need to co ordinate with ur Basis Team. First you need assign this Authorization Object with respective Field and Values to ur respective SD Role which is assigned to your User Id by using T.Code PFCG
    To Check Role Go To SU01- User ID Tab Role here u need to check the roles.

    A user cannot see his shopping carts in his sourcing cockpit  in his worklist. He finds them with the find tab but he cannot mark them as complete. The completion check box column is not there. However another colleague can find these shooping carts and the completiong column is there. Why this occur?
    Does it have anything to do with where the user is placed in the org. struture? Please advise.

    seems that the requirement is assigned to a different Pgroup. Therefore one user does see it, and the other one not. When you adjust the assignment in the Org Model, the user will see the requirement.
    Check the responsibility and assignment of your Pgroups.

    Finding the User Exit:
    Code SE18 is used to Identify the BADI available.
    Look for the string 'CL_EXITHANDLER' in the standard program. This is a class which has a method 'GET_INSTANCE' which is used to trigger BADI's from the Standard Program. The interface parameter for this static method 'EXIT_NAME' is used to pass the BADI to the method.
    Open Standard Program and do a global search 'CL_EXITHANDLER'.
    SE18 > give the BADI name found through above search.
    CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA > which has a method SAVE_DATA.
    T.Code SE19 is used to Implement BADI.
    SE19 > give the implementation name > Give the Definition name as CUSTOMER_ADD_DATA and the Short Text.
    User Exit
    Exits are basically the hooks whcih SAP has provided to add your own code. There are two types of Exits:
    1. Customer exits: Implemented as Function Modules within z includes. Anybody can change it and no access key is required.
    2. User Exit: Implemented as subroutines within includes (any include except y or z includes). You need access for the specific include and then you can any subroutine (user exit) within that Include.
    BADIs are the enhanced version of user exits where the same logic is implemented via classes and object (OOP)
    Enchancement point is the latest once introduces with ECC6.0 . Not very sure about that but you can change it without any access key.

    If you are in 4.7 and up follow this
    1. Run report RSMODPRF
    2. Run on the selection screen
    3. In list Field Exit > Create
    4. Give your data element
    5.System will generate the FM FIELD_EXIT_XXXXX

    7. Select your field exit and assign to your program and screen
    8. Select again .. Field exit > Activate
    If you are in version below 4.7
    1. CMOD
    2. Go to >Text enhancment > Field exit
    then follow the same step from 3 onwards as given above.

    Procedure for Creating MENU Exits.
    1) To get into Area Menu Maintenance Screen Type SE43 T.Code in Command
    Line.
    2) In Area Menu Paramenter type 'S000' (S triple Zero)
    3) Then Press Change Icon in Application Tool Bar. Then It may ask for
    Access Key or it may display "Specify Processing mode" window. If it ask
    for the Access Key Check for the availability of OSS Note and apply to open
    Standard SAP Menu to include MENU Exits. Otherwise, if it display "Specify
    Processing mode" window with Three Push Button. In which select "Change" and
    proceed further.
    4) Then it will display "Information" window with the following information
    "Caution : The Original Language of the structure is German (editing lang. :
    English) ". Then press "Enter Key to proceed further.
    5) Then you will get into "Edit Area Menu S000".
    6) for eg:- Expand Tools Menu.
    7) Then Press ABAP Workbench <Icon>.
    8) Then you will get into ABAP Workbench Menu Tree.
    9) Then Expand Utilities Menu.
    10) In the last line you will find one MENU EXIT Provision to include your
    own menu. "Node Text Not Found" This text can be change by double Clicking
    that. There you can find the T.Code. Here for Eg:- "+DW4".
    11) for eg: - Here change the Text to "Sample Menu Exit" and then note down
    the T.Code "+DW4".
    12) Then Save with Change Request Number and come out of Transaction SE43.
    13) Then Goto Transaction SE93.
    14) Then type T.Code "+DW4" and press Create.
    15) Then proceed further to create transaction called "+DW4".
