No such element inroadmap exception error
Hi,
I have created an roadmap project. The navigation is working. except when i need to skipp a stip.
When i for instance pus a back putton the roadmap shows me that i am at step 2 instead of step 1`
The code i am using in te viewcontroller for the back button:

We are maintaining 10 internal Database through OEM 10g and using seesded reports.
When we try to create simple custom reports against one of the Target database , its failing with following error message ,
Query : select * from v$database
Error rendering element.
Exception: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
select * from dual & v$session working ( But query execution happeniing from Reposistory Database not from Target instance )
Note:
I have reviewed thred "getting ORA-00942 while running report in GC"
Please give some light .

We are trying to make an project where we can make a person register in our data base & after which he/she can search for other user.
The logged in user can modify his/her own data but can view other ppl's data.
We are in a phase of registering the user & that's where we are stuck. The problem is that after the login screen when we hit register (OK- button) the data are not getting entered in the data base.
Can u please help me??

I am getting a very strange error.
I am using the storage vi's in my application. On my development machine my application runs fine. When I build an executable and use it on another machine I get the following error.
Exception error 0x5F4 _deleteChildObject.vi. I think there is a problem with the delete run group vi but I don't know what it could be.
When I run the executable on my development machine I don't have a problem.
Please advise.

After trading the your path creating subVI (which was not attached) for a hard path to the TDM file you attached, I successfully ran both the VI and an executable I built from the VI. I was hoping to reproduce the error here so I could explore it. Any more information you have on this issue would be helpful - perhaps you can attach your executable - maybe that explains the problem on your machine (although it wouldn't explain the problem on your customer's machine). I imagine you may have already tried this, but maybe a mass compile would help if something in the VI is corrupted on your machine (holding control and shift, and then clicking the run button will mass compile your code in LabVIEW).
Sorry I couldn't reproduce it, but I look forward to your repost with any additional information and possibly a failing executable version of your code (you can use the path functions such as Current VIs Path - see the File I/O -> File Constants palette - to get the base path to the same directory your executable is called from... then use that to call the TDM file which can sit in the same directory, and I can put it there to run your exe).

[Urgent] Uncaught exception: Errors!
Hello Blackberry Support!
So I'm in a pretty bad situation at the moment. It seems as though my mothers Blackberry Torch 9810 is receiving quite a lot of errors. The phone was operational and at occasions, restarts itself (probably because the ram gets clogged up). However, this time the phone was stuck on the loading screen. I decided it was best to see if taking the battery out and in again would work but unfortunately it didn't. So I left it aside for a while incase it isn't frozen and loads up to the home screen but instead of that, Uncaught Exception Errors began popping up with a menu behind it which had a list of stock and third-party applications.
Errors such as Uncaught exception: java.lang.nullpointerexception
and
Uncaught exception: ApplicationRegistry.getOrWaitFor (0x...) owner died Thread [Thread-...]
keep occuring.
We're very reluctant at restoring the whole phone as we dont want any sort of data being deleted, especially photos and videos.

There's pretty much no diagnosing those -- they are the equivalent of the random errors in Windows for which tracing the root cause is fruitless. Basically, these are the last out in the programming code -- some event occurred for which there is no handler in the code. The fix is a code update that handles the event...but, again, knowing what the event is is pretty much impossible. So, there are a few things to try:
Sometimes, the code simply becomes corrupt and needs to be refreshed -- just like a reboot:
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
If it won't boot up cleanly, then you may need to try Safe Mode:

The toughest possible cause is a badly behaving app. To find it, there are a couple of options. One is to see if you can read the log file:
Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type 'lglg'. (You will not see anything while you type).This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably many pages) untill you see a line that says 'uncaught execption'. Click on this line. The name of the app will be in the info. Alternative methods for bringing up the logs are in this KB:

The other method is to remove apps one at a time, waiting a while in between (I usually recommend a week), until the problem ceases...thereby discovering the offending app. Still another method is to reload the BB OS cleanly, leaving some time between adding other apps onto the BB so as to be able to determine exactly which one is the cause.
As for backing up your data, that requires the device to be running normally and not failing for one reason or another. If, for example, you can get it to run stable in Safe Mode, you might then be able to take a backup. But, please do realize that, like insurance, backups are neither a reactive nor an optional activity. The time to take a backup is when things are running fine, not after problems arise.

How to handle exceptions / errors in LiveCycle
Hello All ,
I want to handle some exception / errors that may arise while the user is filling the form so that the JavaScript console should not show any error rather we can simply show an alert / message .
Say I got a dynamic table where the user can add / delete row at run time . There is a minimum count for the no.of rows . Suppose the user clicks the delete button without adding a new row then the JavaScript console will show error . I know we can handle this by using if else statements where depending on the instance manager count the deletion of rows are permitted . I want to know is it possible here to write a code to handle exception considering this thing as an exception without using the If-else statement ?? Just a thought.

However, this is not the right way to solve your problem: Exception handling is for handling exceptions, and a scenario that you know can come to pass (such as the user clicking the removeInstance button when there are none to remove) is not an exception.
Don't misunderstand me - putting code inside try/catch is 'good developer manners' (I do it myself all the time), and I strongly encourage you to do the same. Although only for handling exception sprung from code that you think should work just as fine without them.
A better way of solving your particular problem is to remove the minus-button if there are no instances to remove. -

Uncaught Exception error 86: RIM messaging. Kill. Me. Now. :-)
My phone reports an uncaught exception error 86 several times a day. sometimes it reboots itself. Sometimes it says it's rebuilding the message list. Other times it just won't open email or SMS message lists at all.
I've scoured the forums, done multiple hard resets, updated the OS, downgraded the OS, upgraded it back up again and still no solution.

Curve 8900 on AT&T in San Francisco. Running v5.0.0.1067.The only apps I use are Google Maps, Google Sync and eBay. There appears to be no pattern to when the problem happens: sometimes I literally pick the phone up to find it in the middle of a reboot.

As you have found, such an issue is usually dealt with by reinstalling the OS. Did you completely wipe the BB and start from scratch with new OS and Desk Top Software? I kept re-installing the same OS not realising is what my particular copy of it that had the problem. So
In the guides it says to do a backup. Do this if you haven't already done so saving the file to a place and in a name that you can easily locate on computer.
I then uninstalled DTM and then deleted all other references to BB/Rim in Windows Explorer thus removing the OS for the BB from the computer in order to ensure that the version I would reinstall would be a brand new downloaded version.
Get the latest Desk Top Software

and install it on the computer.

Do not disconnect the device until the whole process is completed and the device has rebooted.
After 10 minutes reboot again by removing the battery whilst powered-on and leave it out for a couple of minutes.
Leave it again for 10 minutes. You should now have a fully functioning BB!

We do not offer a JDBC driver for Linux in version 5.1. In version 6.0,we
do offer a type 4 driver for Linux.
In version 5.1, I suggest trying the platform independent type 4 JDBC driver
available for free from Oracle. It is supported (as is any JDBC driver)
with WebLogic Server. To download it:
Go to http://www.oracle.com and select the "Download" option.
From the resulting page, use the "Select Utility or Driver" dropdown to
select Oracle JDBC drivers
From the resulting page, scroll down a little (since SQLJ stuff appears at
the top).

I am suspecting that you are seeing this in the call managr VG224 gateway config page.
It looks like a database issue, Could you please delete the VG and re-add it again.

Gmail only works in WiFi... not 3G
