No updates for AT300-101

I have a AT300-101 and the android version of this powerhorse is still 4.1.1.xxxxx, no updates, why?
I'm begining to develop android aplications, turn the usb debugmode, and nothing!!!! I'm in windows 8.1 x64!,
With my nexus4 i plug the usb cable and "voila"! I get the device ready!!!
What do you expect,

This is user-to-user forum.
I don't think you will get more information and details about the update philosophy from forum members and Toshiba enthusiasts.
But fact is that updates are available via Service Station and Toshiba provides updates for different devices.
Im owner of new Excite Pro and yesterday I received an update to Jelly Bean 4.3

please check for second line item Item okay is marked or not.
if its 511 then please check whether Pricing control in MA-master whether its a Moving average or Standard price.
as you said for singular 511 profit center gettng updated then you can very well compare to GR's.

BAPI_GOODS_MVMT_CREATE - for MIGO 101 movmt type with serial no on Delivery

Dear Gurus,
Scenario
We have to transfer serialized Material from one plant to another via STO
ST order --> Delivery --> PGI (with Serial Number) --> MIGO at recieving plant.
For MIGO (101) movement we want to use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
Now we have tried many combinations for it.
if we se GM_CODE = '01'. and Movement Indicator 'B' (for purchase orders) then it gives error "Maintain Serial number."
So if we maintaine serial number in thetable it says that you "cannot assign this serial number to the material "(AS the serial no is attached to the material at the time of PGI).
Now if we try to change the the movement Indicator to 'L' (for deliveries) we are getting the error "Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 101 X X _ L) "
We have maintianed all necessary fields otherwise it would not give he Maintain srial no error (we think). I know this is very technical. but if anyone has prior knowledge please Help

The solution was set up at my company before I joined, but the different movement type is to enable the free goods stock to make a Finance posting to a Bonus Stock GL Account. Bonus stock sale update the same account.
As I mention the '970' movement type worked fine with Goods Receipt against a Purchase Order (it was coded into to the user exit).
The MM procedures were changed to use the Inbound Delivery matched to the PO, this had a result that when the Goods receipt was posted in MIGO it posted as 101 movement, as the PO number was not being recognised.
By making a further change to the user exit we able to suggest the '970' movement type, but now get the BORGR622 error I refer to.
'511' is not possible against an inbound delivery either.

Several issues on new AT300-101

Hey guys.
I bought an AT300-101 a week ago, and I have some problem with it.
First:
I cant make a mass storage mode. Did i miss something? Or i need a special cable to connect to pc and copy files to the tablet (the manufacturer cable does not work?)
Second, its bigger problem:
The battery life is below average.
Browsering the internet via Wifi, with full brightness, and its over in 5 hour?
Or 2-3 hour bad piggies, angry birds, some gmail chat, and skype (this situation hold 4 hour)
and need to recharge.
It's normal? Or the tablet gone wrong?
Third:
How can i change the video resolution to better then 320, or 240. (In PC can be) in the youtube app, or somewhere? It looks terrible. Always play in the worst quality.
I hope somebody help me.

The AT300 supports the micro USB port. This port allows AT300 acting as a host or client. When acting as a client you can use this port to connect the tablet to a pc for data transferring.
If acting as a host, you can connect other portable devices like USB flash drive, USB HDD (only FAT) USB hubs powered by an AC adaptor, HiD (keyboards & mouses)
To connect table to PC plug the micro USB connector into the micor USB port and the other end of USB cable to the PCs USB port. The tablet should be recognized as a removable MTP (media transfer protocol) device or PTP (picture transfer protocol)

The battery should be calibrated.. this means that you should charge and discharge the battery several times in the row. Furthermore decrease the display brightness and cancel the processes and apps runing in the background

You cannot change the tablet resolution! If you use a single apps for video watching, check if such app provides such option. But from my knowledge the Android OS uses the resolution provided by the tablet display.

If you find the sentence “A failure was detected for a previous installation” on the Summary.txt log file, please repair SQL Server using the following article:

AT300-101 - how to make a back up of the operating system?

I am tearing my hair out ! i am sending my AT300-101 toshiba tablet away tomorrow to have the battery changed but have only just realised the email booking the repair has said i have to make a back up of the operating system / replacement recovery media. after trawling the web trying to work out how to do it I am still stuck. can anyone help me with this please. It would be a big help.

There are many different ways to backup the date from android device.
You can use some 3rd party backup apps (check the Google Play store for available apps) or you can use the Android internal option to backup the data, application, Wifi passwords and other settings to google servers.
Such option can be found in App Apps -> Settings -> Backup & Restore

Upgrade to I-Tunes 7.4.2 with Apple Software Update for Windows

I upgraded to I-Tunes 7.4.2 and that went great. But I was also offered an Apple Software Update for Windows which would not install. The error message said something about a part of it not being able to run. Is this a Vista thing? I still have Windows XP and don't plan to change to Vista. Will I have issues with newer versions of I-Tunes if I can't get this Software Update for Windows to install?

Even though I asked, you never said if you have an ASU 2.0.0.21 ... so this solution runs the risk of being irrelevant to your situation. (It applies to the issue of ASU 2.0.0.21 on an XP PC returning an "invalid signature" message when trying to download an ASU 2.1.0.101.)
If that's what you've got here, then usually a software installer bundle from Apple which contains a higher version of ASU than the 2.0.0.21 will install on the PC in question.
(Avoid using the BonJour for Windows 1.0.4 standalone installer just at the moment, as a precaution. Last time I checked, about 20 minutes ago, that still contained an ASU 2.0.0.21, and that won't get you any further forward than you currently are ... assuming that you've currently got an ASU 2.0.0.21 in place.)
So download and install another Apple installer bundle. Here's a link through to the QuickTime Standalone installer, although the Safari for Windows or iTunes installer would also work:
Latest Quicktime Installers … get the one that doesn’t mention iTunes
That should, as part of the install, update your ASU to version 2.1.0.101. To check on that, launch ASU ("Start > All Programs > Apple Software Update"), go "Help > About Apple Software Update" and check the version number. If you're now at ASU 2.1.0.101, you're past the problem with ASU 2.0.0.21 returning an 'Invalid signature" message when trying to install an ASU 2.1.0.101 (assuming that's the particular problem you were actually experiencing).

That message means that you have to restore the iOS software because something went wrong. Follow the instructions here. I hope that you have a backup.

Tasc_redleader which update exactly are you trying to apply? Your screen shot indicates an update to Photoshop CS6 but your installation log appears to be for Extension Manager CS6.

Camera Raw 6.7 Update for Mac: Installation Failed error message. Update downloaded directly from Adobe website. Newly purchased Mac Workbook Pro, OS 10.10, using Photoshop CS5. Other updates successfully accomplished. Camera Raw 6.7 Update was downloaded multiple times with multiple installation attempts. Any recommendations?

thanks for the prompt response...i appreciate it. according to the link you listed, that's correct. the strange thing is that prior to the upgrad to mac os 10.8.4, photoshop CS5 was working just fine and i was able to open my canon raw files with my current camera raw plug-in version 6.7 which adobe has indicated is the last camera raw update they'll be offering for cs 5
so it's clearly an issue related to the "upgrade" of the os. seems like every solution creates 6 new problems...further evidence for the notion that if it ain't broke don't fix it! thanks again.

He had recently upgraded from wht we now know is 18.0 to 18.1 which is the latest version. He read the above artic
le and supposed that it was a bug fix release for his version - because the v17 ov18 number is not often displayed. It is usually just 2014 CC.
I have asked him to post a bug report about Adobe Illustrator CC 2014.1

BIOS Update for HP Pavilion dv6t-7000 CTO

I was just looking at the updates for my laptop and saw two BIOS updates here. I was wondering which one actually applies to my particlular machine. As one can see, one is a few months more recent than the other. Does this mean that it has the fixes that the older one already employs? If so, why list both when only the newst one is relevant?
Looking further into this, I took a look at the revision history (Previous Versions) for both and they each list themselves as "Current". One lists as "F.29 Current 10-2013" and the other "F.24 Current 02-2013". So, which one is actually current?
Can anyone shed some light on this? I can post more specific info about my machine upon request if that would help.

The one with the later date is more current. This is customary on computer manufacturer support websites. They will usually keep the last couple of versions up there with the latest one. Toshiba is particularly bad about never removing old versions of drivers and BIOS. And BIOS updates are cumulative. You can skip over to the latest one and all the updates in all the interim versions will be included. The files are labeled clearly as to their date of issue and that they only apply to models with Intel processors so it should be apparent you need to install the latest one and only of your machine has an Intel processor. If you need anything else let us know.

Google, NAI, DAA, & FIREFOX HELP said go to about:config was instructed to turn "from false to true" the "privacy.tracking.protection.enabled" .But I couldn't keep this setting because this also has to be set to false to use any saved log-on's to my accounts., and add-on AD BLOCK PLUS 2.6.7 when I was on Firefox & had some ticks and now it is disabled because it won't work with PaleMoon 25.2.1

These 1st 2 links used to have the same trouble and didn't retain ANYTHING and wouldn't re OPT-OUT ANY UNTIL THEY WERE SATIATED - saying I didn't have 3rd party cookies allowed when I did - this took hours.
I sent numerous trouble reports to them that they ignored - then I think I sent one to Firefox and it is much better but still not completely right. Today DAA retains 106 out of 122 and if I repeatedly RE-OPT-OUT successively I can get it to 121 out of 122 - never completely. (currently the one not taking is Accuen Inc. but it changes periodically - makes me think they set one up to take my info and then share it with all of them - lol )
Same for NAI currently I started with 94 out of 96 - next re-OPTED-OUT got it to 95 out of 96 and no further and same co. Accuen Inc (accuenmedia.com ) wouldn't update.
NOTE: I was copy/pasting the list of NON-OPT-OUT'S to them and my own document file to try and find trends/problems...now NAI programmers protected the list from being able to be COPIED AND PASTED!!! That's the opposite of being open and interested in making this work, right? Why would they want to allow us to OPT-OUT of their criminal espionage behavior...RIGHT? (lol) FYI: I recorded that the big one that was always retained before this one was...MEDIA MATH INC.
MANY Opt-outs would drop off while on-line and ALL would drop-off once logged-off. Now it's retaining most once logged off - but it hasn't been long enough to tell if they'll fall back into their bad habits as they've done before...
This has been going on forever for me - I've been reporting this malfunction since 2013.

Lastely, I also requested that the COOKIES NAMES BE UNIFORMLY IDENTIFIABLE. All the OPT-OUT COOKIES that are to be forevermore retained on my computer and that I am to trust the EVERY FUNCTION OF - well they all have different COOKIE NAMES!! Most of the names you can not tell that they are OPT-OUT COOKIES!! - SO NOWWW They have created another problem.
We can no longer just "DELETE ALL COOKIES".
PLUS, we can no longer go through our cookies and delete individual ones that snuck through.
Every one of the OPT-OUT COOKIES SHOULD SAY "OPT-OUT" IWITHIN THEIR NAME OF THEIR COOKIE - PERIOD. RIGHT? (LOL) For real. Why was this mess was allowed?
REALLY IN MY OPINION THESE COMPANIES SHOULD BE BLOCKED AT THE LOCAL PHONE COMPANIES LEVEL - IN OUR SERVERS. We should not have to deal with them. Same thing with viruses, malware and such beasts. But I digress.
In summary:
1.)Google Analytics OPT-OUT Browser Add-on 0.9.6 doesn't retain OPT-OUT settings
2.) JAVA refuses to create updates for WinXP/FireFox/PaleMoon.
3.) DAA & NAI still don't retain ALL OPT-OUT settings and never completely OPT-OUT all companies.
4.) OPT-OUT cookies should be uniformly names with the words OPT-OUT in their titles.
5.) Ad Block Plus 25.6.7 doesn't work for Pale Moon and there is no alternative - (didn't work great in FireFox)
Right now I'm mainly interested in #1)retaining my GOOGLE OPT-OUTS while on line AND while logged off since it is attacking my computer and steeling all the speed until it freezes my keyboard.
Currently I am trying to remember to run through 3. OPT-OUTS every time I log on.
