No video on mobileme movies in gallery

When I try to view my mobileme movies there is no video, only audio. Any ideas?

I am having the same issue but have been using Tubesock to convert my YouTube videos. They used to work just fine but now, for some reason, they won't work at all. No updates for Tubesock. Not sure who the culprit is here, Apple or the makers of Tubesock. The last Apple and appleTV update are the benchmarks for the beginning of the problems.

AppleTV not viewing videos in MobileMe gallery

When I try to view my MobileMe posted videos through my AppleTV, nothing appears. The name of the gallery where the video is posted appears, but there is nothing in there. I have no problems viewing the videos by going directly to the MobileMe gallery. I had originally published the videos to MobileMe through iPhoto. I also copied the video directly to iTunes and loaded it up as a separate movie in my library, and AppleTV can play that video with no problem. I just can't get the AppleTV to see the video in the MobileMe gallery...Any thoughts??

Update...I can now see the videos if they are published through iMovie instead of through iPhoto...Don't really understand why that works, but at least it's something...

Can't play movie from gallery on mac

I can not play movies from my gallery on my macbook. These movies are imported from Canon A630 to iPhoto. In iPhoto I can play them well. All of them are published to my mobileme gallery using iPhoto. Then I open this gallery in Safari on my macbook to check if everything was published. And when I try to play a movie QuickTime tells me that it needs some additional software and directs me to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/resources/components.htmlos=OSX&ctype=696d6463&cs ubtype=4d4a5047
I visited this page earlier and installed divx, xvid, recode raw and ensharpen codecs. Also I have Perian and Flip4mac installed codecs. So my main question is: why can't I play movies from gallery using safari if in the same time I can view them well from iPhoto?
Playing of movies published with iMovie works well. But this does not matter to me since I want videos to be published in events with photos. If iPhoto has functionality to publish videos so it must work! Also I must mention that videos published with iPhoto can be played without problems from my PC with safari+quick time for windows. But under my Mac none of Safari, Firefox and Camino can view videos from my gallery. So I think problem is in QuickTime.

Anybody?????? Im using web premium CS5.5 it seems ludicrous that by default it lets every website play content on my computer but regards my own content as a security risk and wont let me rectify the problem!

Ok....so I have found a work around....if not a complete solution.
I'm not sure if deleting your music, uninstalling ITunes and reinstalling and adding your music back will actually affect it but I tried it again. Started from scratch.
I checked the box for "Manually manage music and videos"
Then I moved my music to phone via drag and drop, usually just boxing a row of albums at a time.
I went back into my Iphone and began the sync. The message popped up, "1 Item could not be synced" and the sync stopped. At that point, I just clicked sync again and it started back up again. It took a few go's but eventually I got all my music on my phone.
Ironically enough, the only songs that wouldn't sync were songs that I had actually purchased from Itunes....kinda odd

Error when uploading video to MobileMe

i shared a 1 hr and 7 min video to MobileMe then made some changes and tried to re-publish but kept getting a message after hours of uploading saying there was an error uploading to MobileMe and i should check the MobileMe setting. my user and password are fine and i have tried un-publishing and starting over numerous times but still get the error. also, i have more than enough space in my MobileMe account and i'm trying to publish in the medium size

Try removing the video from MobileMe altogether and then quit iMovie. Restart your computer, and then reload the movie again.

Part 1: How to import .mod video to Windows Movie Maker
Step 1: Load files
First copy the MOD file from your video camera to your hard drive, then download, install and run MOD Converter, click the "Add Files" button to browse your computer hard disc and load the MOD/TOD video files you want to convert to the program.
Step 2: Output Setting
In the bottom of the main interface, select an output format supported by Windows Movie Maker for each video file and specify a directory on your computer to save the output files.
Step 3: Start convert
Click "Start" button on right bottom of the main interface, you are allowed to start conversion.
Step 4: Import converted video to Windows Movie Maker
Click on "File". Then click on "Import". A window will appear. In the window, navigate to the video clip you converted just now. Then double click on the file. You'll see the icon for the file in your Windows Movie Maker "Collections".
Part 2: How to edit the video with Windows Movie Maker
Step 1: Add transitions and special effects
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Edit Movie, click View video transitions.
Preview transitions by double-clicking them and watching the Preview Monitor. Once you've found a transition you like, drag it from the Video Transitions pane, under Edit Movie pane to the box between two of your clips. This inserts the transition between the two clips.
Step 2: Add titles and credits
If you want to add a title before, after, or on top of a clip, click the clip on the storyboard or timeline.
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Edit Movie, click Make titles or credits.
Step 3: Add Music
In the Movie Tasks pane in Movie Maker, under Capture Video, click Import audio or music.
In the Import File dialog box, click the name of the song you want to use in the background. Then click Import. This adds your song to your collection but does not add it to your video. Drag the song from the collection to the video clip where you want the music to start playing.
Step 4: Add narration
If you have a desktop computer, connect a microphone. Microphones are available from most electronics stores. If you have a portable computer, you can use the built-in microphone. However, you will get a better-quality recording if you connect an external microphone. In Movie Maker, click the Tools menu, and then click Narrate Timeline. On the timeline, click the clip you want to narrate. You can narrate clips one at a time, or you can narrate the entire movie all at once. If you narrate individual clips, you can rearrange them later and keep your narration synchronized. If the narration is too loud or too soft in comparison to the movie, right-click the narration on your timeline, and then click Volume.
Step 5: To save your movie to your computer
In the Movie Tasks pane, under Finish Movie, click Save to my computer.
The Save Movie Wizard appears. On the Save Movie File page, type a name for your movie. You can also choose a folder to save it in by clicking the Browse button, but My Videos (the default) is usually the best place to save your movie. Then click Next. On the Movie Setting page, click Next to accept the default setting of Best quality for playback on my computer.
Movie Maker saves your movie, which might take several minutes. On the Completing the Save Movie Wizard page, click Finish. If Play movie when I click Finish was selected (it is selected by default), the movie will automatically play in Windows Media Player. Now you can watch your videos anytime by opening your My Videos folder and double-clicking your movie.
Part 3: How to upload my video to YouTube
A video file should meet the following requirements so that it can be uploaded to YouTube site.
1. In an acceptable format: WMV, MPEG4, MOV, AVI and MPEG.
2. Video length is shorter 10 minutes.
3. File size is smaller than 1GB.
Step 1: Sign up a YouTube account or Gmail account, then click the Upload button on any YouTube web page. See the figure below:
Step 2: Type in the information of your video file, including Title, Description, Category and tags. To increase the chances that your video can be easily found, you should put as much information as possible.
Step 3: Set this video to be public or private.
Step 4: Click the "Upload a video" button. When you see the next window, click the "Browse" button to select the video file you want to upload. Then click the "Upload Video" button to upload it. After the upload is finished, you will see the completion page. See the figure below:
Step 5: Click "My Videos" and you will see the video.

Transfer of Video from Windows Movie Maker to PE7

Hi,
I put together my first video using Windows Movie Maker, and the audio tracks are wma files. I just got Premiere Elements 7 and want to transfer the video to it from Movie Maker, but I understand that in PE7 audio files should be either mp3 or wav.
Is there a way to make the transfer so that I'll be able to burn the video to DVD after getting it into PE7?

Why not export from Windows MovieMaker as DV-AVI.... (See this FAQ on exportinmg from WMM as DV-AVI http://forums.adobe.com/thread/415317?tstart=0) then bring this into PE7. Note sometimes you can have audio issues with the type 1 DV-AVI that WMM produces. In this case use the free DVDate (http://paul.glagla.free.fr/dvdate_en.htm) to convert the type 1 to type 2... it is very fast and lossless.

Video not included in web gallery

I imported a collection of photos and videos. The videos appear in the library, but not in the web module. Is there a way to include these videos in the exported web gallery? If Lightroom does not support this directly, are there any web tutorials that explain how to include them manually? I did a google search, which was unsuccessful, but perhaps I was using the wrong search terms.

Is there any reason photos in an album page display small on the iPad, but normally on an iMac? And videos on a movies page don't play on the iPad, but are OK on the iMac?

there are three displays in photos page:
1) thumbnails grid - smallest
2) deatial view and detail view slideshow - large
3a) pop-up slideshow - vary - this is slideshow.html
3b) or iphone/ipad slideshow phoneshow.html - iphone/ipad can't do pop-up
it's difficult to know which you refer to.
if you refer to pop-up slideshow then you should not look into iwebmediagrid.js as wyodor suggested.
instead look in phoneshow.html and change width and heigth of element id slideshow:

En Adobe Bridge CS5 y 5.1 cuando yo en algun video de formato .mov le asignaba un fotograma poster desde el programa Quicktime, automaticamente adobe Bridge me tomaba ese fotograma poster como la minuatura para el video, pero en CS6 eso no pasa, ¿Que debo hacer para activar esa función? tengo cientos de videos en formato .mov y ahora es un lio para mi saber cual es cual, mil gracias por su ayuda.

Really, you do all know it's ENTIRELY down to product placement - ie: paid for advertising - rather than any "cool" factor, don't you?
I just can't believe there are intelligent people out there who still don't know that. I mean: why would a high profile pop star or the producer of a multi-million dollar movie feature a (usually entirely irrelevant) piece of technology in their product for free when they could get hundreds of thousands of dollars to do it?
It's not even like it's subtle anymore: have you seen how much product placement Apple have bought in Californication? Every other scene has someone using a powerbook or an iPod or at least talking about it.
Favourite line from the last one I saw: "Do you know (some **bleep**py album)? I'll gift it to you on your iPod."

Never download anything from CNET. The site is untrustworthy and is known to distribute Windows spyware intentionally.

I can't rent any movies or tv shows. It worked a week ago. It doesn't work now. The TV says it can't connect to iTunes. I rented a movie on my iMac itunes. It appears on the TV screen but when I highlight and press the remote control I get the wheel of death, and nothing happens. I can watch youtube, I can watch videos from the computer that I have bought previously. I can't watch the video I just rented on iTunes and I can't rent any new videos.

Help needed in playing HTML ' object ' videos with formats mov, avi, wmv...

Here is where I am at this juncture...
I have a requirement wherein I need to render an HTML text containing an '<object>' tag which embeds a video, for example:-

Now I need to render this video into my Flex Web Application.
One way to do it, as I see, is somehow extract the 'data' attribute and put it as a 'source' for spark VideoPlayer.
Is there any better way to do this?
Also note that, I require to render all video formats (avi, mov, wmv etc.) and not just flv or f4v. Any pointers for this would be appreciated.

Question: Are these still images jpeg or Kodak's EXIF? or are you using the camera in HD movie mode where iMovie fails to recognize the file format/s?
If you read the system requirements for this device it clearly states X.3 or higher. However, I'm wondering if this also includes X.5.1 or not .....
