Does 'Nokia 130 Dual SIM' have or support the below mentioned applications?

Welcome to Discussions, Anonsuomy.
Given the low-end designation of the Nokia 130, it does not have a proper internet capability nor supports third-party applications. However, you may look at the Nokia X and Lumia smartphones to get those features.

  • Nokia 130 dual sim: Unable to import VCF or CSV co...

    Hi,
I Just bought a Nokia 130 dual sim phone. I have more than 650 contacts in my old phone which allows these to be exported via bluetooth in a .vcf format. However, Nokia 130 only recognises the first contact. I then miserably tried importing the data to outlook and then creating a .csv file. Still I'm unable to get the contacts in to the phone.
Copying from SIM is really cumbersome. NOKIA... PLEASE HELP.

@Buoy your phone is based on the operating system Series 30+ (MediaTek) which was introduced in November 2013. Because of that, the phone models Nokia 220 and Nokia 225 behave in similar ways. Therefore, does this help?

  • Urgent help with Nokia 208 Dual SIM

    Hi all,
I have a new Nokia 208 Dual SIM type RM-949 (English & Chinees).
I wish to install Hebrew on it but I can't find an appropriate firmware.
Does anyone knows if there's such version around the net?
Can I install the RM-948 instead? Will it support the Dual SIM function?
Is there an RM-956 version with Hebrew and if yes, can it be installed on this model (RM-949)???
    Please help.............. I'm stuck........
    Thanks,
    Shai.

    Hi,
I've checked today with our local Nokia care center and it seems like there's no such firmware that support this model that includes Hebrew language.
Only for single SIM you my find such version.
    Now what?
Am I stuck with this phone?
    Thanks,
    Shai.
The Dual-SIM version was specifically made for specific regions mainly for developing markets (esp in Asia-Pacific). Hence, language packs available are limited or made available only to those countries.

  • Nokia 225 Dual Sim firmware 20.00.11 greek languag...

    I have a Nokia 225 Dual Sim (Model RM-1011 Code 059V5S6)
    I had firmware 10.01.11
I upgraded with Lumia Software Recovery Tool to 20.00.11 and greek language disappeared.
Is it possible to downgrade? Because the phone is used by my 74 years old dad and english is not an option for him.

The Nokia feature phones never had the ability to downgrade. Are you really certain that the new firmware that got installed is the same as that was previous? Because they usually don't miss out on languages as such.
Does the about section display the same product code (059V5S6) as printed on the label under the battery?

  • Nokia 108 Dual Sim has Offline/Flight mode?

Does Nokia 108 Dual Sim have Offline/Flight mode?
If, yes, where can I find it?
    Thanks for all !!

Yeah some allow phones in offline mode. Others only if the MP3 player comes on without the phone, some nothing at all. Check with the space waitresses when you are onboard. They will have the most up to date info. Oh one last thing, if the crew tell you that the captain says no it must be off, do it, they will have a nice man in a pretty uniform carrying an asp/mace/great big gun (Depending on what country you fly into) waiting for you if you refuse.
Is that an N95 in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?!?
Life's too important to take seriously.
    Nokias I've owned 3210, 3310, 6100, 7650, 6600, 6680, 6630, N80, N95

  • Nokia 301 Dual Sim in the Netherlands

Does anybody know when the Nokia 301 Dual Sim will be available in the Netherlands (there are a few dodgy online stores that sell it, but I believe they sell the Hungarian version and their aftersale service in non-existing, so not a retailer I want to use). The 301 is already widely available, but I want to have the 301 Dual Sim. Online I can only find information saying "in Q2 of 2013", but it's July 2013 at the moment, which means we're in Q3 already and the 301 Dual Sim is still not available.

    Hi HW1979,
    Welcome to the forum!
We're happy to hear that you're planning to purchase the Nokia 301. As for the phone language, this is country and region dependent. The Dutch language will be available if you purchase it in a country where it is commonly used. We advise you to check the device personally or coordinate with the local stored in  your area.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need clarification.

If you are located in Sri Lanka, your Nokia Care might refuse to change the product code. You have to double check with them and hope the best. Although, in a situation like yours, I would not waste much time and do it myself.
That's something great to hear from you. I have been kind of a techy guy for a long time and I am a fast learner. So I believe that I will be able to execute the change of region task, if a set of instructions are there to follow. Can you provide me with a source that teaches how to change the region of a mobile phone?
Regarding the suggestions to Nokia, I then don't think that they would want to hear views from their customers and they might well want to go on their own way (probably why Samsung overtook them in mobile industry). I do not know and this is actually my 2nd Nokia phone in my life (had a short stint with Nokia 2600 Classic, a long time ago).
For an example, the Sony Ericsson Cedar (and their other basic phones) had the feature to set specific "Message tones" to specific contacts, instead of setting a general message tone for every contact. But Nokia does not provide such a feature. Probably, they think that such features are not relevant, but still many of their customers around the world would have loved to have such kinds of small small features. This feature was very vital for me during the days I was using SE Cedar and I am missing that feature a lot from Nokia 208.
The other major issue is that, Nokia does not allow minimizing of Java applications. For example, When I had SE Cedar, I used to browse internet using Opera Mini while I text with someone for a longer time. I mean, until the other party sends a reply, I browse the internet and once the reply arrives, I minimize it and continue texting and then get back to surfing internet again after sending the reply. But with Nokia, I have got to close the application to read the text message and that's been really annoying.
I tried to break the Nokia Security Wall with some sort of tutorial based on internet related to S40 firmwares, but it did not work.
Any help regarding the issues mentioned above, would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Nokia 301 dual sim

    Hi everybody!
I come from Vietnam. I want to buy the Nokia 301 dual sim but it has not been bought up to now. I want to know some specs about it. Does it support flashlite, audio equalizer and radio with RDS? The specs I want are audio equalizer. I introduced the Nokia 206 to my friend. But it is so disapointed that it does not suport audio equalizer. Music is so bad (with earphone). So terrible! I love the Nokia 301 very much. But I also love music. Besides, I hope the Nokia 301 support flashlite 3.0. I'm using the Nokia C2-01 and it supports flashlite 3.0 perfectly. I only want to view .swf file. Please help me answer these questions. Thanks!

    I think 301 is a great choice.
I have not used it but I believe it will be having equalizer for sure and radio with RDS.
I am not sure whether it supports flash lite 3.0 or not because they say that adobe stopped supporting it. Hope it has it.

  • Security code - Nokia 206 Dual SIM

    Hello,
I'm having trouble with my Nokia 206 Dual SIM mobile.
My kid changed the security code, and now she can't remember what it is.  I've searched the manual, support sections and forums, but most of the solutions I can find suggest taking the phone to a Nokia Care Centre.  Unfortunately, I have no idea where to find one of these near Brisbane.
Another suggested option is to send it by post to Nokia Care Direct, but this seems ridiculously unnecessary for what should be a simple passcode reset, not to mention expensive.
I've already taken it to a Telstra store, a Virgin store and a mobile repair store, but all were left scratching their heads.
In the case of a forgotten iPhone passcode it's easy enough to restore the device, so I'm sure that I must just be missing something glaringly obvious.  I don't mind losing my data, but I can't even figure out how to perform a factory reset.
Any help to regain control of my phone will be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Raj

    Hi Dveterant_1,
Welcome to the Microsoft Mobile Community.
Are you trying to reset the phone, but you can't as it's asking for a security code? Or are you unable to access your Asha 206 as it's asking for a security code? In case you've missed @singhnsk's post, the only way to have it fix is to reinstall (flash) its software in Care Points. See: FAQ - I have forgotten the security code for my Asha.
Note: After flashing, all the personal data (contacts, calendar data, etc.) in the phone may be deleted. BTW, the link is intended for the United Arab Emirates. You can visit your local support page for future reference. See below link:

  • Nokia 301 Dual SIM flash file or flash theme

    Hi nokia,
from bangladesh. Few days ago i bought nokia 301 dual sim phone. Software version was 2.33 after update it now 9.04. My problem below:
1.It is unable to support flash file or flash theme. The home screen is blank when apply. Flash file is not open. It looks "file not support". But my privious phone(c2-01) it was supported. Please help me to suppopt flash theme or file.
    2. Youtube video loading only 60% then looks "no response".
Dear nokia please help me to view flash file and apply flash theme at any way and give a satisfaction reply to view youtube video.
Moderator's Note: The subject was amended as we have moved this post and created a new thread for the topic.

Sounds like your file system gets corrupted each time you update WhatsApp. Did you update WhatsApp manually already? If that shows the same behaviour, I would send in that phone because the cause could be hardware related (broken flash memory).

  • A technical question regarding NOKIA 301 Dual SIM

Several days ago I bought  new NOKIA 301 Dual SIM.
It is equipped with charger NOKIA AC-20E, input AC 100 - 240 V/120 mA, output  DC 5V/750 mA.
Also, I have several other (old or non-Nokia) chargers:
    1) NOKIA  AC-10E, input AC 100 - 240 V/160 mA, output DC 5V/1200 mA;
    2) NOKIA  AC-3E, input AC 100 - 240 V/60 mA, output DC 5V/350 mA (for this charger, I have proper adaptor for  NOKIA 301 Dual SIM);
    3) USB charger L-STAR , input AC 100 - 240 V, output DC 5V/1000 mA+/-5%
May I use these above listed (old or non-Nokia) chargers for charging my new NOKIA 301 Dual SIM (or which of them are compatible with NOKIA 301 Dual SIM)? Thank you.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Choose the one with output 5V, 1200mA or the one which came for your phone, output 5V, 750mA.
More the output mA, the faster battery will charge. I don't recommend non Nokia ones.
    Hope this helps.

  • Adobe flash  player  for (nokia x dual sim )mobile

adobe flash  player  for (nokia x dual sim )mobile

    It's Android®...
There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both availabe in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.
