I am opening this topic because i feel very frustrated about my nokia recent aquisition. At the 22 of this month (6 days ago) i have bought a nokia 5310 in a People´s Phone store.
The design of the mobile is very attractive and most functions too, that were the main reasons for my aquisition. Now the worst part, as many of you guys the first weeks after i bought a mobile phone are sacred, o treat my mobile as a baby, bought a silicone "wallet", dont know the word in english, dont mix it in the pockets with the keys to avoid scratchs, etc etc etc. However even being so carefull a strange thing happend yestarday, i was driving in my car and suddenly at my mobile and the display was all black. I went to the store wondering what was happening to my mobile and they told me the display was broken however there isnt any exterior sign on bad use or falls of the mobile, as i told you previously i just bought it 5 days ago. I have asked to exchange for another phone as that was very strange the told me they cannot do that because the phone its broken even there isnt a sign of a bad use then cant trade with a new. They also told me  that they can send to nokia however they wont do anything because its broken and when its broken the fault seem to be always of the client.
I am really frustrated spend 110€ in a mobile, give it the best treatment and now 5 days after bought its BROKEN!
What you guys think i can, should? What you guys would do?

All you can do is to contact Nokia directly using the "Contact us" tab to the top right of this screen and put forward your case the best you can. You never know what they might do for you. You won't know until you try.

    If the service center determined that the SIM socket was damaged by your brother, as would appear to be the case, and not due to a factory defect, they will charge for replacing the entire iPad, not just for the SIM tray. Apple at this time replaces the iPad for just about any problem, and charges a flat fee for doing so.
    If this service center is one authorized by Apple, your brother can try calling Apple Support India at (91) 1800 4250 744 and discussing the situation with them. Ultimately, though, it is the technician's judgement as to what caused the problem, and Apple will usually take the word of the technician when it comes to determination of user-caused damage.

    Sounds like you have VoiceOver (one of the accessibility features) 'on'. Try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off, and if it does you can then change what a triple-click does via Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home.
    If that doesn't turn it off then you can either turn it off directly on the iPad (you need to use a tap-to-select and then double-tap to activate/type process and 3 fingered scrolling) to go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn VoiceOver 'off', or you can do it by connecting to your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064

    I just bought an I phone 6  eleven days ago. It fell off my bed this morning and the screen shattered. I've been told by numerous outlets including apple, that it cannot be replaced for less than $300. I spent $650 dollars on this phone less than two weeks ago. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!! I've always been a huge supporter of apple. I own apple TV,  2 MacBook Pros, 2 IPods and four previous IPhones. It seems to me that quality has been going south and the new IPhone 6 is a testament to that. I'm sincerely disappointed in this purchase and apple.

    There is no real issue.  Devices can break.  All devices can break.  Apple offers AppleCare+ and also offers to replace a damaged device for less than the cost of purchasing one new.  Name me a manufacturer that does free replacements for electronic devices that are damaged by the user.

  • Help! I cannot get to a website I was on 3 days ago, and the history button does not seem to take me to my browsing history. SO far I have gone back to Internet Explorere as the FF4 is too frustrating, but accessing my history is critical for contacts.

    In FF4 I cannot find where to access the history. I go to the red drop down box in the top of the left hand corner and there is a link to a history drop down, but then there will be nothing displayed- not for the day, or the week, or---. Where has the access to this information been moved? I am using Windows 7 .

    CTRL+H should give you your history unless you enabled "Clear Browsing History" in Options | Options | Privacy.

    Well, i bought two iphone 5 for me and my wife...she used it for only 2 days and she gave it back to me complaining from the same problem and she went back to her 4S, i thought she was kidding until i used mine,,,oh my god, the battery does not last for more than 6 or 7 hours, even without making any calls. i was so happy with my previous 4S as i used to charge it at night and stay almost 2 days on a stand by before recharge it again. well, im done with apple, have an appointment today in apple store to return mine, and even if they give me 2 new ones, i will not even open them,,,, for sale right away.

    Are you connected to an ISP? Have you set up your Mail preferences per your ISP's requirements?

    Look in /Users folder. You can go to System Preferences > Users & Groups, open the lock and "-" delete the account it created.
    This is a problem whenever you use migration assistant after the initial install. The proper way to run Migration Assistant is in Setup Assistant when you first boot your Mac. I don't know why Apple isn't clearer about this issue.

    We have a MacBook Pro and it is usually quiet, but it sits in a stand to allow air under the bottom.
    Just my opinion, but based on experience.
    You are still eligible to purchase the longer term AppleCare warranty I think (3 years if my memory is correct). While it is an expense that you may never need, in my opinion, it is cheap insurance based on the cost to repair computers. I buy it and more than once it has paid for itself many times over. Not that Apple products are bad, but electronics do weird things at times.
