Nokia Drive Commute Error Reporting
I travel a route every day and have been using commute to get traffic updates. The app is awesome and I'm once again very impressed, but there is a error with the map data which needs to be fixed. The hwy I use is a single direction road, which allows drivers to come into the city in the morning, then in the afternoon it reverses and allows driver to leave the city. The times have been entered in reverse, so commute tells me its blocked. As you need to be in certain geo areas for commute to show route data it was hard to fault until the other day when I was at work in the morning instead of at home. I went to the maptek website and tried to edit the map, but Australia is locked from making changes at this time. Can you please help? Also you should allow map correction feedback from the app, navigating the web site on a phone is terrible and un necessary when a report error submission with the app would be easier. Entered on phone, apologies for mistakes
Solved!
Go to Solution.
Yes, that was a typo. I went to that site, and it tells me that editing is currently unavailable in that region. The only way I could post a fault was via the feedback widget. I never received a email receipt or ticket number. Hence why I came on the forums.
thank you for your response thou

1) Crystal Report 2013 doe snot install any SDK. Thus the assumption is that you are using CR from teh following link:
SAP BusinessObjects - SAP Crystal Reports, Version For Eclipse Download
2) Since you are using a 64 bit connection (Oracle Client 11g 62 bit ODBC driver) you will have to make sure you are using 64 bit JVM. Otherwise, follow Dell's advice and use a 32 bit ODBC datasource.
3) On one test you are using Oracle Client 10g 32 bit ODBC driver and the other you are using Oracle Client 11g 64 bit ODBC driver. You might want to see if you can run your app using Client 11g 32 bit ODBC driver.

I have a mid-2010 27" Quad Core i5 iMac running 10.8.3. Startup disk recognizes the primary hard drive as a startup volume but will not boot from it. Have tried zapping PRAM, ran disk utility. No errors reported Any thoughts?
My bad Eric. The startup preference recognizes the primary as a 10.8.3 startup volume but when u select it the system does not boot. I can only boot from my external backup drive

Database-level error reported by JDBC driver
Hi everyone,
I get an error in my Sender JDBC adapter. I am executing a stored procedure every minute. In total I have 34 JDBC senders for every different database. The error is like below. The problem is in Alert Inbox I cant see the rest of the message. This error occures just once every hour (average). I dont know why and I dont know what the rest of the error is saying.
Any ideas how i can see the rest of the message? And where the error might be?
Note: In communication channel monitoring everything is green.
Database-level error reported by JDBC driver while executing statement 'EXEC [TBHi,
obviously there are concurring accesses to the table your stored procedure is accessing. This is nothing serious, because SAP XI will retry the execution of the stored procedure according to the settings of the communication channels (3times all 5 minutes is the default). Additionally you can set the repeats in case of SQL errors in the extended tab of the communication channel configuration.
Tuning the transaction isolation levels might help to avoid the error but can decrease the consistency of the data as well. Default isolation level is always the highest available in a database (in case of SQL Server it should be SERIALIZABLE), so locks might easily occur. I would suggest to have a look at other applications accessing the tables and determine their isolation level.
All in all, I guess there shouldn't be real problems, because of the repeated execution of you stored procedure, but it's worth to have a look at the isolation level.

805a01f4 error with updating nokia drive
Hello, I have bought a new windows 8 phone from Nokia. Every feature which is default with the phone is great and I have no issues with any of them. But when am trying to open the Windows Store to update Nokia drive, am getting the error code with the message "Error Code : 805a01f4 The Store is not available at the moment please try again." I tried to open it many times but all the time I get the same message. I havn't had any problems with every other application update, only with Nokia drive.
If the microsoft has provided any fix in advance for this error, please let me know about it completely. Thank you. That's nor the issue neither the point: It's just the Drive+-app which is causing trouble to update; the other Apps & the store in general are working just fine.
The point is that Nokia is making big fame on their website by stating that the Drive+-app is a major improvement over other smartphones as they off a complete SatNav-solution for free.
Customers like me who have fallen for this, are being cheated, because in the end the App doesn't deliver & can't be updated.
The errorcode doesn't seem to have anything to do with the store, just with the availability of the update. Strange however that we are been presented with the same 'general' error.
Patience? When I just bought a brandnew car, I guess it won't be considered normal to return to the dealer with complains about the functionality of the steering wheel, & just get the answer: "Yeah, we know, have some patience, we will fix it in the near future. Perhaps...". -
Error report causes cd drive ejection noise
When I send an error report to apple after an application crashes the cd drive makes that wawa noise like it is ejecting a cd. I don't see how the two are related. Can someone tell me what is going on and how to fix it?
ThanksChris Shaddock wrote:
I wouldn't even know where to start with console logs. How are they helpful? It nerver dawned on me that profile details would be helpful. I updated it.
Sure, profile info lets us know if your are running an old G5 or a new MacBook Pro, and which OS.
The console.app is in the Utilities directory. I keep an alias in my dock since it's such a useful tool.
Do whatever it is that makes the noise and then run the console.app and look for the most recent entries. It may not show up, but if something does, report back here.
I agree with you that it is indeed a strange thing that is happening.
Try creating a new user account and see if the problem exists with the new user. That might thin down the area where the problem is being generated.
You might also reset PRAM. A long shot, but it won't hurt:

Hi again dasuncj,
Thank you for the quick reply!
So that I can better diagnose the error message with your specific brand of HP Pavilion 06, I will need to know both the model and product number. This can be found by using this video below:
Please re-post with the necessary information, this way I will be able to research this further for you. I look forward to your reply!
Cheers!

Nokia Drive 3.0 Commute Live Tile
The Nokia Drive live tile does not update at commute time. I have to open app then exit to start screen at which time the live tile updates. When I open the app the second time it will the ask if I want to begin the commute. The live tile should automatically change near the specified commute time.
Nokia ovi maps was a good software with some minor flaws which i had hoped would be solved in the wonderful 'nokia drive' software. Thus i bought a lumia800. Obviously Nokia Drive was only designed so Nokia could claim they have a free navigation software. I think, they hope that after 10 seconds every user will realize, that it is useless and buy 'Navigation Europe' (45€) (which is still not as good as ovi maps used to be.)
You cannot chose fastest/shortest/optimised route, so nokia drive basically always goes for the next motorway, even if it is a major detour and/or takes longer.
If you leave the route it keeps trying to get back on the route, even if your destination is 50 meters straight ahead
destination input is awkward and lacks the option to pick a destination on the map
You cannot chose to avoid toll roads
You can only add a favorite on your current position
You can only add maps country by country
Voice commands with street names are not availablea
Offline search for the simplest things like 'gas station' does not yield useful results - a poi database (like in ovi maps) is not available
And i do not expect that any of the next updates will solve any of these issues, else nobody would buy the navigation europe software.
so as things are now i would recommend to buy any other phone with gps and buy some navi-software. 'free nokia navigation' is not an argument for anything.

Did PC Recovery and Dowloaded iTunes, wont open, only get error reports.
I just did a PC recovery and have all of my music from iTunes backed up on a dock drive. I just re-downloaded iTunes and installed it. iTunes won't open, I just get an error report every time. I clicked on the setup file and tried to repair it. I've uninstalled it and redownloaded it. Still the same result. Does anyone have any ideas on what else I could do?
does that help anyone?

Itunes get "Send Error Report" message
Alright so when I try and open itunes I get a send error report message. I've tried updating it and that doesnt work and I've already tried reinstalling it. I thought quicktime was the error so I went to try and remove it from my computer. As it was loading to remove quicktime I got a "fatal error" message and quicktime could not be deleted.
Help please?
Message was edited by: Joshua MalinItunes has encountered a problem and needs to close
the first thing that i check for when people report getting that message when they try to launch their itunes is a broken QuickTime.
try to open your QuickTime. does it launch properly, or do you get an error message?
if you get an error message, the first thing we'll try is a careful standalone QT 7.1 reinstall.
download and save a copy of the QT 7.1 standalone installer to your hard drive. (we'll run the install from there rather than online.) switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the install.
Quicktime 7.1 Standalone Installer
if that install goes through okay, does your itunes launch properly again?
(if you get an error message on the QT standalone reinstall, let us know what it says. include error message numbers if you're getting any.) -
ITunes for Win XP always gets an error report box when i try to open it
Recently my iTunes has stgopped opening. Everytime I try to run it I get a send error report box ("iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close."). When trying to run quicktime, i get a buffer overrun error. I've tried everything. I've uninstalled the programs (quicktime wouldnt uninstall at first, so i had to delete the quicktime folder and then uninstall and it worked), used CCleaner. I have all the microsoft updates. This never happened before. I've seen this question posted on a few other forums, but could never find an answer.
I have iTunes 7.3.1.3, but I tried to install an old version (7.0.3) and still encountered the same problem. I also tried removing my iTunes library from My Documents, but that did not work either.

Itunes will not start and keep getting send error report to MS message
I had a system crash and have re-built the sytem with XP Professional SP2 with all upto date patches. Symantec Norton Internet Security 2007.
Downloaded the latest Itunes and Quicktime update on Monday evening and now every time I click on the Itunes icon, i get unable to start application and do you want to send an error report to Microsoft.
I remember all the problems with the 6 to 7 upgrade and am hoping this is not a repeat.
Any help appreciated. The quote below is from a previous thread where several people solved your same problem with the stated technique. Maybe it will work for you. Good Luck.
iTunes 7.0.2 FIX.........Have tried all 'fixes' suggested but iTunes STILL not opening
1. Uninstall iTunes and Quicktime.
2. Do a search in the C:\ drive for "QuickTime". Delete EVERYTHING that pops up.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Install QUICKTIME ONLY
5. THEN install iTunes......and IT WORKS.....Just remember to install Quicktime FIRST. -
"Send Error Report" Message When Trying to Open iTunes
I've looked for two days to find a solution to this problem and tried everything I've come across. Nothing has worked so far, and every time I try to open iTunes I still get the "send error report". I know that that does nothing. I've un-installed and re-installed both Quicktime and iTunes and it doesn't work. I've tried to see if it will work on another account on the same computer but it doesn't work. What is the next step?
Thanks!Good-O. Not seeing an error message there rules out another possible set of problems, so we're still making progress.
Okay, we'll try swapping out your existing QuickTime one more time, taking a few extra explicit precautions along the way.
First, download and save a fresh copy of the QuickTimeInstaller.exe to your hard drive. (Don't run the install on line and don't run the install just yet.) Get the installer that doesn't mention iTunes:
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
Now head into your "Add or Remove Programs" control panel and uninstall QuickTime.
Next we'll remove any leftover QuickTime program files and folders.
Restart the PC.
Open Local Disk C: or whichever drive your program files are installed on.
Open the "Program Files" folder.
Right-click the "QuickTime" folder (if it still exists) and select Delete.
Go back into Local Disk C: or whichever drive your Operating System files are installed on.
Open the "Windows" folder.
Open the "system32" folder.
Right-click on the QuickTime file (if it still exists) and select "Delete".
Right-click on the QuickTimeVR file (if it still exists) and select "Delete".
Empty your Recycle Bin and restart the PC again.
After the PC restarts, do not open any applications. Disconnect from your network and/or the internet. Now disable all your security software (firewall, antivirus, antispyware).
Now start the QuickTime install by doubleclicking on the QuickTimeInstaller.exe file you downloaded earlier.
Reenable all security software prior to reconnecting to the internet and/or your network.
Did that install seem to go through okay? If so, does QuickTime launch normally this time?
