Nokia lumina 620 Here drive+

Hello,
I have started to use the GPS application on my new Lumina 620 and I can't see how to enable the traffic information and the radar location. Can you please tell me if it is possible now?
I can't see how to do it. I can do it with the planing (itinerary) but If I do a pause (and stop the application), the itinerary doesn't work anymore (I have no voice telling me where to go anymore).
also when I do one traject if I don't create an ittinerary it doesn't seem to tell me information about the traffic.
Can you lease tell me what I am missing (or is it still not available at the moment?

Do you know of a guide with all the features ?
For example : Do I have to click on the icon every XX minutes or does the program do it automatically?
Will the phone tell me that there is traffic and change automatically the road or will I have a message telling me that another road is recommended and I must accept?
For the countries forbiding the radar with POI (first column and red = forbidden)

Nokia lumina 620 wifi issue!!!!!

I I'm getting **bleep** of my Nokia lumia 620 wifi issue. It's been working fine till mid September. On n off wifi is connected but can't use the internet. After a while it's fine. But why it's happening?? I bought it on 5 may 2013 and giving issue now. Sometimes my wifi is not detected, and when wifi is connected I can't use internet for 15min. This is not good. Please help me. Thanks

Have you tried rebooting your router? While at it, also check for router updates.

Here drive for Nokia XL: only in one country???

Is there a way to drive into several countries with nokia XL?

As of now, it is not possible since the HereDrive app is not present for downloading in the Store. However, I suggest that you contribute your suggestions regarding this by going to your phone's settings > Feedback to Nokia. Hope this helps!

New to this and a bit of a newbi to Smartphones and Windows so hope someone can help this old Dinosaur! I had a Nokia N8 which had Ovi maps and navigation which was simple and easy to use. I really don't like the maps and Here Drive+ and wondered if I can put Ovi on my Lumina 630.
I also have a problem with my email account, which I hope you don't mind me posting this here too. My emails were coming through okay but now they don't and I really have no idea what to do. Thank you.

Here Drive+ wont install on lumia 620

Hi,
I just recieved my new Nokia Lumia 620
On the menu I have the car icon. When I press it it gives me a new screen titled Nokia Drive.
Then at the lower left corner I have a button go to store.
When I press that I go to the store, I get the details of HERE DRIVE+ but in the middle of thescreen it tells me:
"This app is not available for your device

I have encountered the same problem with my new Lumia 820. I have bought it to have access to the application. Has anybody heard about any official response to this issue from Nokia? When will it be available? Or, is there any solution? Thanks.

Here drive nokia 520 spain now upgrade

can anyone help. i have just been to spain, I tried to use my here drive app it was working perfectly. but it came up with "you must upgrade to country earia MCC=214". Now whenever i go into the program it comes up with the same. I dont want to upgrade. i have deleated the app off my phone and reinstalled it, but all i get now is i must upgrade. does any one know how i can get past this

On NL 520 the HERE Drive works only in the country where the first SIM was used... so if you are in a new country you will need to upgrade the License... but wait..the upcoming Nokia Cyan upgrade will provide the Global Navigation without any upgrade purchase as mentioned HERE.

Here Drive app is not even starting. It shows me the app logo and then throws me back to menu. Restoring factory settings did not help.

Here Drive+ Beta & Here Maps do not activate on my...

Hi,
I have installed Here Drive + Beta and Here Maps on my Nokia 620, when I click on them to activate they just return to the app list. I have un-installed and re-installed several times over various days and it still does not load. Important to note, Here Transit and other navigation apps work but not Here Drive + Beta and Here Maps! It's very frustrating, can anyone suggest what's going on?

In the end I gave up and proceeded to do a hard re-set back to initial factory settings – low and behold it now works fine, although I haven’t fully tested it on the road.

Lumia 620 - HERE Maps refusing to install

So, my Lumia 620 came without HERE Maps (But it has HERE Drive+ and City Lens) so I decide to download it, it finishes downloading and it stops and tells me to open the download page and look at it, and it says that it could not be installed, showing the error 8103010d . I tried restarting the phone, and updating it (when the Lumia Black update came out) but it's still the same. Is there any other way, except resetting?

Sound like a reset is needed. You can also try to use the Nokia Software Recovery Tool to recover your phone if you have software or software update problems. If your phone is not responding, it appears to be stuck or is not starting you can try to recover it at home before initiating a repair.

HERE drive+ Speed cameras

Hello,
I have a Nokia Lumia 620 with HERE Drive+ installed on it. It is a very good navigation app.
Too bad that speed cameras are not mentioned.
Does anybody know how it is possible that speed cameras are mentioned when driving?
I read in another topic that in Belgium speed cameras are included in the app, but I can't see them.

Nokia deliberatly removed the safety camera locations from all european maps after France and a few smaller countries made navigation devices with camera warnings illigal
With the old symbian handsets you can get these back easily enough by digging into the file system and repalcing the file
WP, your stuck and as suggested need to find another app in the store

Nokia Lumina 820 - recover lost data

Hi everybody.
I reset my Nokia Lumina 820 by mistake and now I lost all my contacts and most importantly all my photos.
Unfortunately they were on my phone memory, I wasn't using a SD card. I heard you could recover data using recovery software.
I tried couple of softwares to recover the photos but had no luck.
I plug in my phone to my PC via USB, I can see it on my computer. But then when I run the software all I can see it my PC's C: drive, my phone doesn't even come as an option. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Or do you know a goot soft ware I can try to recover my photos.

do not worry, you can recover lost photos and other data from Nokia Lumina 820 phone with Nokia data recovery program, here's a good one: Nokia data recovery software
the program is easy to use, works for both Nokia phone SD card and internal memory. so hope it helps you.

here drive+ is in Beta for quite some time. Is there a roadmap available when the app is in final and which features will be added/bugs will be fixed?

When I connect the phone by Bluetooth to my carkit, phone calls are routed over my car speakers, but my turn-by-turn navigation will not give any directions anymore (even when I'm not on the phone). My Nokia 5230 had the same problem. In my opinion both functionalities must be able to use a bluetooth connection to my car radio

Problem with HERE drive on Lumia 720 in India

I had the preinstalled HERE drive app on my Lumia which was working fine. Yesterday store was showing updates and it also had an update for HERE drive. When I updated it through WiFi the app didn't open and kept returning to home screen. This is really irritating because before the update app was working fine but now after the update it isn't working and also after uninstalling it and trying to reinstall its not published on the store. Please Nokia sort this issue out as its very irritating and hassling. At least make previous app available or clear this mess.

Nokia Lumia 620 won't start up

Hello everyone!
I'm writing you this because i have a problem with my Nokia Lumia 620.
Here's the story: I received the phone from italy as a gift, the phone wasn't new because my relatives actually bought the phone for them but they didn't like it because they had to create a microsoft account to import their contacts from sim, so they sent the phone to me.
When i received it, it was like brand new, out of the box, with stikers and all.
I made a reset, a microsoft account, then imported my contacts, installed some apps, played a lot with the phone untill i drained allmost all the batery(some battery low warnings appeared) but went to recharge it before it shut off, after this i went to sleep. I was woken up in the middle of the night because the phone started to vibrate, i went to see what was happening and when i tried to unlock the phone using the side buton i got no response because the phone was shut down. This is were all the trouble started, i realised there is a problem because when i started charging the battery, the phone was still on and there wasnt any way the phone couldve run out battery. I pressed the unlock button longer to turn on the phone, no luck, the on response was a slight vibration and a glimpse of white screen.The vibration and glimpse appear when i have the at charging battery, if i pulld out the charger it wont respond to any comand. Because the phone was bought from another country, i cant go to a nokia store here, beacause the warranty is not valid.
From what i found on the internet the problem should be the motherboard, mainboard, etc.
What should i do? Sending the phone to italy is out of the question.
Sorry for the bad english, is not my first language, neither is italian.

if the battery is completely dead, just keep the phone connected to the charger, and wait about 30 mins before trying to turn it on
and fyi, if the charger is not powerful enough, lumia phones can drain the battery even if it's connected to the charger
