Nokia X3-02 Touchscreen broken.

I'm probably screwed since my mum will not bother to get my phone fixed. My touchscreen being broken means it's UNUSABLE!!!!
What should I do now.

Nokia Lumia 520 touchscreen problem HELP

So i got a Nokia 520 in June this year and ive had no problems with it but a few days ago when i switched it on the touchscreen and front buttons werent responding to touch. I removed the battery , soft reset and hard reset the phone and it's still not working. I cant take it to my local store till after Christmas and im lost without it, has anyone else had this problem and know what i can do to fix it?

hi mate, nothing you can do here except to take your phone to Nokia Care for inspection as you have tried all avenues of troubleshooting on your own accord.

ISync: Nokia 9300i--- Calender Sync Broken

Hi,
Post update to 10.4.9, there was a strange behaviour in iSync with Nokia 9300i.
Every-time the sync was about to complete, it used to get broken (while syncing calendar). The phone get's message that the link is broken.
I tried everything from re-installing Mac OSX, Upgrading it back to 10.4.9, Upgrading the firmware of Nokia 9300i & Applying DST Patch on phone, but no avail. The Calendar seems to be broken.
On going to Console, i found the following error data, which repeats exactly the same way every-time i sync the phone:

Nokia 5800 RSS Reader broken "unknown error"

My Nokia 5800 RSS Reader spontaneously died. Getting "unknown error".
Anyone know how to fix this? Will any new firmware fix it? Any free apps?
The RSS Reader on the phone isn't bad imo and i had over 10 feeds in there. I'm having to use Opera Mini rss feed is usable but that browser is so fragile!

I have had the same problem on my nokia 5800, everything worked great for about 1 month since I bought the phone and then out of nowhere the feeds got corrupted when I was doing a refresh all I think. It is 100% a software database or broken file issue. I tried searching for bookmark database in system folders and files and others using y-browser to see if I can erase them manually but wasn't able to find any file that would indicate it is a bookmark database or whatever. Maybe someone who knows s60 ins and outs has an idea where do these bookmarks live.
On the other hand I remembered I had done a full back up of my phone beforehand using PC suite (Ovi Suite same thing in a different package) . So I just restored the bookmarks to my phone and vioala. The feeds work again, because the whole bookmark database got overwritten. No hard reset required.
If you already have the error and no back up then it is a problem. You would have to trick the nokia restore software to do the restore with a blank file. You will have to dig around and find out how to do it. Perhaps do a back up for the broken bookmarkrs, find the file, then either replace with a blank or edit it such that it looks like blank. Alternatively, have someone who has a uncorrupted bookmark back up, send you the file and you can restore that one.

Nokia C7 unlock key broken as its projecting out

I accidentally got my C7 unlock key broken. I took it to nokia service center.. They said me that it doesnt include in warranty.. They ask me 2000 INR to change completely.. a small piece of projecting plastic switch got broken,how can i spend 2000?. What am i supposed to do..??

yeah.. i'll do that if issue crops up again. Bcz it occurs not that frequently, it will be really tough explaining the issue to Nokia care guys.. its been 10 months already and my nokia care still can't see purple patches in my display...

Just to verify, are you also using a Nokia E5-00? Where do you save your media files? On your phone memory or on a memory card? Have you tried the suggestion posted by Scoobyman? In addition to that, you can try to reboot the phone. This will refresh the software of the phone. If the issue remains, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Restore the phone default settings. This should not affect your personal data on the phone.
Menu > Ctrl. panel > Settings> General > Factory Settings. The default code is 12345 unless otherwise changed.
2. Reinstall the software using the Nokia Suite:

In any case that the issue remains after reinstalling the software, I suggest performing a hard reset (formatting the phone). Be sure to have a backup file as this will wipe all the stored content on your phone. To format, dial *#7370#

Nokia 2720 Fold has broken in two

Yep, my Nokia 2720a-2b flip phone split in two. The wire that connects the screen (top half) to the keypad (bottom half) is severed. Aside from the also broken hinges, that's probably all that's broken. It is old and so is not under warranty.
I have other phones, even an only slightly older model Nokia flip phone, so replacing/repairing the 2720 is only a small concern. More serious is my desire to retrieve what was on the phone. I put the sim in an older phone and found it's fine, but of course it only held a fraction of all that was on that phone like calendar entries, text messages, photos, addresses, groups, games, etc.
I've heard two options are to buy a replacement to the screen and somehow attach it to the bottom half, or somehow attach a cable to the bottom piece and upload from it even though it seems nonfunctional right now.
Are either of these possibilities possible or practical? I have basic experience servicing PCs, but have never touched anything deeper than the battery and sim of a mobile phone.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate if they included some specifics like what I would need to buy or where I would need to go to act on that suggestion.

Seems a gone case ..It seems improbable that your phone gets switched ON in the first place... Next, as there is NO USB connection possible with this device, only way to connect it to PC or other device is thru' Bluetooth..and under the existing condition it will be next to impossible to activate BT on your Phone.
The only chance you may take is get it repired thru' Nokia Care if the data is precious, because the cost of repair may also be quite high..may be almost the price of a new phone today ...
P.S. As per the Forum guidelines, Its forbidden to discuss Self servicing of Hardware related issues...so no more help can be provided..

Not sure if this is the best place to report it, but I've been using a Venue 11 Pro with the mobile keyboard attachment (adds a laptop-style hinge with a keyboard + touchpad + second battery), which works astoundingly well in Arch with Gnome 3 (multitouch works, three-finger middle click on the touchpad works, the removable battery works, seemingly everything works except detecting the front webcam rather than just the back one), but as of 3.19, the touchscreen no longer comes up under xinput list. I've gone back to 3.18-6 for now.

Nokia 5530 XM Touchscreen (red button) not working...

I bought my nokia 5530 for about 4 months and i had dropped it a couple of times..
But before that it did not experience any serious damage.
It was until recent i accidently dropped it AGAIN and i found out that the red button is not working anymore.
Is there any solution to fixed it??

Nokia 6350 flip phone broken lcd screen..need help...

Hi there. After running over my phone with the car My lcd screen no longer shows any text. The phone works fine but I cannot navigate around the various menus. I have tried hooking it up to a pc using the nokia pc suite software but that has not worked out . Can anyone please inform me of a way to retrieve the stored phone numbers? I have tried putting the 3g simm chip into another phone but it did not contain the contact list, address book or recent call list. There is one number in particular that I need to see. HELP! connect to nokia suite while display broken

I accidentally broke the display of my "Nokia E63 and now i cannot select nokia suite when connecting the usb cable to make a backup of my contacts because my phone is configured to use mass storage as default connection. either way even if i was being asked to select the connecton type it is still impossible because i have no screen.

Sorry for what happened to your phone. Can you tell us which saving memory do you use, SIM memory or Phone memory? Do you remember if you have changed the default saving memory to SIM? As far as I know, the default saving memory is phone. However, you may try to insert your SIM card to another device for us to check if your contacts were saved on your SIM.
Let us know what would be the outcome.

Nokia 7100 supernova with broken screen

I have a nokia 7100 supernova with a smashed screen. I would like to be able to turn the bluetooth on so that I can get my contacts and photos off the phone.
Can anyone give me an idiots guide on how to do this.
The phone is set with the normal menu system

I take it you haven't used the phone much yet or the internet to be specific , you would have noticed when you're connected to the internet the E is encircled by a box and when you recieve a call it has a line through it.
All this means is that your phone is registered to EGPRS on your network but a connection hasn't been made, if you travell you would probably notice the E change to a G depending on the coverage of the particular earea you're in.
and you didn't really go through the manual
Yours is a S40 phone so if you decide you want to remove this.
I don't have my 5200 with me so I'm guiding you from my memory which isn't really the best but here goes
Menu > settings > connectivity > Packet Data > Packet Data connection
and set this from always online to when needed
