Nokia5800RM356 Different product code ??? One on p...

Hi, strange one this. Im sick of waiting for updates so i wanted to check my product code.
Fair enuff, checked under the battery, it said ProductCode 0575581, Nokia have been emailing me telling me that i have updates, but when checking with NSU or OTA there simple wasnt any.
So anyway, after ready other forums, i got some software to check my product code via software.
I did this and it told me that my product code was 0576524
WHat and why is this happening.
I bought my mobile via Phones4U in uk witha 02 sim card.
Any ideas anyone ?? Is nokia or p0hones4u playing with product codes.

I honestly don't know what phones4u's normal practices are since I've never dealt with them.
Put it this way. Carphone Warehouse has got into alot of trouble with Nokia recently. Most of the Nokia Care Points in the UK were in fact Carphone Warehouses and yet not one of them is now. Also, CPW have been doing a few naughty things behind Nokia's back (related to gray imports). I find it difficult to believe that CPW would be the only organisation doing stupid things in this industry.
In other words, I wouldn't be surprised if phones4u were responsible for the problem you're having now, but I'd be absolutely incapable of making a substantiated claim that this was normal practice for them.

There are lists with these codes. I think only, that for Italian, should be EURO1 code... If is one of those, I don´t know.

Product codes cant tell where the phone was made, product codes dependent to where your location is, where you'll be using the phone.

it's over a month now that Nokia has released the latest 40.x.x firmware for its 5800 model, or should I say to a small, privilleged amount of customers? I have purchased a Nokia 5800 via Amazon.de, totally unbranded, product code is 0578314, and up to now, the new firmware is unavailable. Why does it take so long for the firmware to become available at least for the unbranded country versions? Technically, there seems to be no problem at all, since many users simply change their product code and install the new firmware, but I am asking here for an official way to get the new firmware in time. The massive delay in firmware updates for different product codes is simply a pain for us paying customers who want the latest features available.

This fact is not clearly obvious when you buy a phone, so how does a customer know if he gets a CV (copuntry variant) or any other type of phone before buying? When I bought my unbranded 5800XM, I was still thinking that I get a perfect, free phone, and that firmwareupdates can be applied when available. It was absolutely not apparent to me that I would have to wait three months or so, before I can upgrade my phone to a new firmware, once it becomes available

How to enter invoice with two different tax codes in one line?

Dear friends,
I have this PO for which I enter the invoice.
I recieve later a subsequent debit for this PO from the transporter. This subsequent invoice has got extra debits, one with 21% VAT and one with 19% VAT, which means two items with two different tax codes.
I want to enter this subsequent debit for each item of the PO, and I want to enter both debits in every item of the PO.
How can I enter in one row in MIRO a debit with two different tax codes.

EXTERNAL OPERATION in a production order with different company code plant

in my case i am having a production order with 4 operations.
0010 milling
0020 winding
0030 cutting
0040 milling
among this opearion 0030 i want to do it in a plant which is assigned to different company code than mine.
in this case whether i should proceed with PP01 Control key with opearion plant as that plant which is lieing in diffent company code or
i should specify PP02 control key saying that plant as an external vendor for me and do PR and PO for that service .
which should i follow for my case and how cost gets updated .

For different company code, u have to specify PP02 in the routing for external vendor. In PP02 control key indicator must be set in external opn.
Before that create purchase info record.
Enter subcontract info record in routing.
after running MRP , convert the PR to PO.
Send the material by MB1B by 541 mvt
Receive the material by MIGO by 101 mvt.

Yes, your license key is cross platform PC & or Mac you are allowed to have two current installations with one in use at any point in time. You can uninstall / install as many times as is necessary so long as you adhere to the limits.

Combining vendor in different Co Codes onto one 1099 - Possible?

We are on version ECC 6.0 and using extended tax configuration. Is it possible for the same vendor that has invoices in two different Co Codes to have the amounts combined onto one 1099. We are using the program RFIDYYWT to create 1099's. If I put both Company Codes in the selection, I still get 2 1099's. The Company COde - Additional information in OBY6 has the same tax code for both company codes.

Different batches for same product in one HU

Dear SAP Gurus:
I have a couple of questions:
1. Can you have multiple batches for the same product on one HU?
2. If the answer is YES, what do I need to do because right now when we try to scan the product ID which includes the batch the system does not saves the scanned batch on the HU but it leaves the one that the "Delivery Document" already had. We tried deleting the batch (leaving it blank) on the "Delivery Doc." but still it does not saves the scanned batch.

Be sure you can pack multiple batches in one HU in standard system. What's more, you can pack several different materials and HUs in one HU.

You can use this transaction to pick and pack material in one step. This can be useful, for example, if you need to pick several materials to be packed into one handling unit (HU). You can select an existing handling unit or create a new one. Identify the materials to be picked and packed by the delivery number.

Ad a new, temporary column (or one you can hide when not using). Let's say the current Prices are in column C and the new column is D.
you can inflate the prices in column C by 5% by entering the formula in the first cell of column D as:
=C2*105%
likes this:
to fill down, select D2, then copy, then select the D3 thru the end of the column, then paste. Now select C2 thru the end of column C, now paste over the existing values using the menu item "Edit > Paste Values"
you can now hide column D until you need to use it again.

Order different iphoto products in ONE order

How can I order different products out of iphoto (eg calendar, book) by ONE order instead of starting 3 orders???

I've seen other threads along this line... This is surprising and really disappointing. What is the logic behind this?
I'm ordering through iPhoto this time because I spent so long creating my cards, but next time will choose another provider who can manage the seemingly simple task of combining my two cards into one order.

One stock code - different Sales codes (MATNR)

Hello!
We are in the process industry wherein we stock in huge containers liquids which are sold in different sales codes (material numbers) according to different pack sizes. Process orders coming from SOs are used to make the goods ready into the MATNRs to be sold.
How can we see the stock of the stored material automatically? When a SO comes, the sales person needs to confirm via ATP (MRP runs only nightly and is not a practical solution) - we may have stock of 10 tons and order may be of 10 kg (10*1 packing) but since there may not be any stock of the pack size 1, the ATP is incorrect. Again, there may not be any stock of the stored material either.
Is there any way to use ATP so we can confirm the delivery dates here? Obviously, since stock is there, we want to ship it ASAP but the material stock for the above reason shows as nil

As far as i could understand your process. - The company has a stock of kinda raw materials (LIQUIDS) in containers and based on the requirements these liquids are packed in small containers of fixed size and sold as finished products as it happens in a paint industry....
1. While doing an ATP against what recipts/stocks the promising is done, Is it done based on volume....
ex . An order comes for 10 1kg boxees , So ATP must check against a volume of 10 kg or is it like the ATP checks against 10 1 kg boxes which are there in the unrestricted stock....????
Please exemplify more on how the ATP is designed to behave.....
