One stock code - different Sales codes (MATNR)

Hello!
We are in the process industry wherein we stock in huge containers liquids which are sold in different sales codes (material numbers) according to different pack sizes. Process orders coming from SOs are used to make the goods ready into the MATNRs to be sold.
How can we see the stock of the stored material automatically? When a SO comes, the sales person needs to confirm via ATP (MRP runs only nightly and is not a practical solution) - we may have stock of 10 tons and order may be of 10 kg (10*1 packing) but since there may not be any stock of the pack size 1, the ATP is incorrect. Again, there may not be any stock of the stored material either.
Is there any way to use ATP so we can confirm the delivery dates here? Obviously, since stock is there, we want to ship it ASAP but the material stock for the above reason shows as nil

            As far as i could understand your process. - The company has a stock of kinda raw materials (LIQUIDS) in containers and based on the requirements these liquids are packed in small containers of fixed size and sold as finished products as it happens in a paint industry....
1. While doing an ATP against what recipts/stocks the promising is done, Is it done based on volume....
ex . An order comes for 10 1kg boxees , So ATP must check against a volume of 10 kg or is it like the ATP checks against 10 1 kg boxes which are there in the unrestricted stock....????
Please exemplify more on how the ATP is designed to behave.....

    we  are purchasing finished items from our vendor in numbers (Eg. Item Number 1 to 6 (all different items and having different item codes)) and selling it to our customer in a set ( 1 set contains all this 6 items and we have code for this Set).  Please let me know how to create the customer stock for these items in the store as the store shows stock for 7 different  items, not in a set.

    hi dan,
    as per your requriment you can have all MRP viewsfor HAWA material type.
    that means you are purchasing, use HAWA for finished goods in SAP system.
    if you are having different item codes seperately for each item.
    take one packing material called CARTON and maintain UOM as 6 items and you can pack the same in BOM.
    use PP -PHANTOM - BOM which should add all the 7 materials in & gives one single material as OUTPUT.
    use 561 GMT and upload that material as a final finished goods and in MMBE you can see only one called CARTON inside it set of 6 materials will be there.
    BUT BE AWARE OF COSTING OF THE MATERIAL because each material will be having the its price. So discuiss with PP as well as FICO consultants.

  • Same Sales Organization code - different company code

    Is it possible to have the same sales organization code in 2 different company codes on the physical same server.
    Example:
    Server 200 and Server 210
    I will create company code 112 and company code 113.
    I will create sales org 10 on 112 and sales org 10 on 113.
    Is that possible to have the same sales org code?

    My fault you misunderstood me because my statement is misleading.
    What I mean is this:
    100 company code with 10 (Sales org for Colorado)
    200 company code with 10 (Sales org for Michigan)
    Both have sales org 10 but two different entity. These are all on the same PROD server.

  • One legal entity - different company codes

    Dear all,
    I have the following question
    Suppose:
    Company 1 is implemented in SAP company code A
    Company 2 is implemented in SAP company code B
    However, from a legal point of view, Company 1 and Company 2 belong to the same legal entity.
    This means VAT, Intrastat, EC sales list should be reported out of 1 legal entity.
    Is this possible in SAP if the information needs to be gathered from different company codes?

  • One material extention to different sales areas and Act .***.grps?

    Hi,
    I have one material for which i need to extend the material to different distribution channels,divisions and account assignment groups in this case can i extend one material to different sales areas as mentioned above or i need to create one more material with same material master data except the sales view data?

    I have extended the same material to 2 different distribution channels and divisions but when iam checking in display view of MM for different distribution channels divions should be different as i have given divisions also different but in my case the last saved division only appearing for both different distribution channels.
    Second thing in MVKE table iam not able to find the division field(SPART)?
    Is iam missing any setting?

    I am doing the scenario of stock transfer between two plants of different  company codes.
    I have some issues in Billing for this..
    What are the settings do i need to to for Pricing in SD point of view.
    Ex:
    Supplying         /         Receiving
    Com.Code:2000     /        CompanyCode:1000
    Plant:2100              /         Plant:1100
    SA:2000/10/00      /          SA:1000/10/00
    I created Customer 5555 w.r.t sales area of supplying company code (2000/10/00)
    I created Vendor  7777 and assigned Supplying Plant 2100 in add purchasing data.
    In IMG Settings:
    Define Shipping Data for Plants: In Receving Plant i assigned customer 5555 and sales area blank
                                                        In Supplying Plant i assigned customer blank and sales area as 2000/10/00
    Create Checking Rule: Standard(B SD Delivery)
    Define Checking Rule: Standard(Avallability-01assigned to checking rule B)
    Assign Delivery Type and Checking rule: Document type(NB)-Supplying Plant(2100)-Delivery Type(NLCC)-Checking Rule-(B)
    Assign Doc Type:Supplying Plant(2100)-Receving Plant(1100)-Doc type(NB)
    What are Pricing settings in SD i have to do?????????

    Do the following steps for STO Customizing:-
    1. Create a customer master record for the issuing plant.
    2. Create a vendor master record for the issuing plant, and enter customer account number in the Customer field on the Control screen.
    3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the receiving plant.
    4. Assign the plants to the customer master record in Customizing for Materials Management (MM), by choosing Purchasing <Purchase Order < Set Up Stock Transport Order< Plants.
    The Process Flow would be as follows :-
    Create a stock transport order, following the standard procedure, and send the order to the issuing plant.
    Issuing plant has processes your order, and when it is ready to ship,the storeperson at the issuing plant issues the goods using a transfer posting. The excise clerk there creates an excise invoice.The excise supervisor verifies and posts the excise invoice.It then sends the goods to you, together with the excise invoice.
    Once the goods arrive, you follow the standard procedure for incoming excise invoices:
    The excise clerk captures the excise invoice, using the stock transport order as the reference document. The storeperson enters the goods receipt, again using the stock transport order as the reference document.Alternatively, you can first enter the goods receipt and then capture the excise invoice.
    The excise supervisor then posts the excise invoice.

  • Billing issue in case of stock transport between different company codes

    Hi all,
    In my project there are 2 different company codes - C001 & C002.
    C001 has plant K101 & C002 has plant K201.
    I am trying for the cross company code stock transfer. The plant K201 issues a stock transport order to plant K101. Now I created a delivery using transaction code VL10G & the system created a delivery successfully.
    I did the picking & PGI using transaction code VL02N successfully.
    Now I am trying to create a billing document in VF01 taking the reference of the delivery number created above but the system issues an error log stating
    "0080000020 000000 The document is not relevant for billing"
    The detail description is as under:

    you just check the Billing type which is assigned for that Delivery type and also check what type of billing document it is i.e., in T.code VOFA
    1)Check SD document category ,whether it is invoice or Proforma invoice,
    2)check copy controls

  • Project stock exist in a plant and WBS but with different company code

    Hello,
    As I know I can not create a PO in company A, but was assigned to a WBS maintained in company code B. The system will check if the WBS getting the same company code with the PO, and pop up  the error message if the company code was differect.
    But seems the project stock could exists in a plant  but assign to  WBS was maintained with different company code. For example, A material stock was in plant A assigned to company code A, and it is also assigned to WBS belong to company code B.
    Any one know it is correct?

    I knew crossing company code to assign WBS element to PO is not allowed since i got the error message, and I think it's reasonable, cause the expense from the project PO should post to the same company code through the WBS element.
    But why for  the inventory crossing company code is allowed?  The stock in plant A belong to company code A, was assigned to WBS element B belong to company code B. That means the inventory is in the GL balance of company A but under the profit center belong to company B.  How to understand it? I think it's wrong

  • How to enter invoice with two different tax codes in one line?

    Dear friends,
    I have this PO for which I enter the invoice.
    I recieve later a subsequent debit for this PO from the transporter. This subsequent invoice has got extra debits, one with 21% VAT and one with 19% VAT, which means two items with two different tax codes.
    I want to enter this subsequent debit for each item of the PO, and I want to enter both debits in every item of the PO.
    How can I enter in one row in MIRO a debit with two different tax codes.

    It is a subsequent debit and it has two items with two different tax codes. I want to enter the subsequent debit for a PO with many items and enter the value of the whole subsequent invoice. So there is the need to enter one line item with two tax codes.

                         Vendor (Cr) 100000
    At this point i want to charge gst and excise duty which are both on invoice amount i.e 100000. i dont want to create two lines for purchasing. Can you help me out in this whether this is possible in tax tab.

  • Combining vendor in different Co Codes onto one 1099 - Possible?

    We are on version ECC 6.0 and using extended tax configuration.  Is it possible for the same vendor that has invoices in two different Co Codes to have the amounts combined onto one 1099.  We are using the program RFIDYYWT to create 1099's.  If I put both Company Codes in the selection, I still get 2 1099's.  The Company COde - Additional information in OBY6 has the same tax code for both company codes.

    The mandatory feilds in the customer Masters can be set to non mandatory in the account group sequence.
    Go to transaction OBD2 account group change.
    Then select your account group of your customer.
    Tehn select the address feilds you will find the customizing of the entries.
    Whether it is mandatory supperreses or optional entries.
    Now you can make it optional entry.

    V Raj, If I Right click on company code/Plant/storage location, I get Material Movement in inactive mode.
    Jimmy, Similarly if I click on Environment < Material Movements, I get a pop up message, List of material movements: stock lines can only be accessed from plant level downwards.
    This is because, in my case, stock is appearing only at Company code level.
    Hope I am clear in my requirement.

    We have created a sales order and in the invoice some X Tax code is determined in the Account document.
    But when we created a Credit memo request with reference to the same Sales order, we are getting different tax code in the Accounting document of Credit Memo.

    Because Suppose 
    Case 1 : you created Sale order 100 PC & Delivery  50 PC, Invoice raised 50 PC
    In that above case if you take Sale order reference system will take 100 PC , but logically you need to raise Credit memo for 50 PC
    Like that we can create Some cases , so try to create credit memo request based on Invoice not for based on Sale order number
    Coming to you Query , try to check the Ship to party for that line item and also check the master data's once
