Non existance of Assets in System

Dear All,
We have implemented SAP ECC 6.0 in F.Y 2009-2010.
Everything is working Fine.
We had transferred all assets from our legacy system to SAP also.
There are some assets which are not available in system.
My Problem is,
Our Auditor has given list of assets  which are physically found but In SAP system it does not exist.
Now how to add all these asstes in System. (By Which Tcode or any other process)
And what is implication after ading all assets.
Thanx & Regards
Swati Shah

Yes , tried as per your advice and link given by Ravi.
Now while TCODE : ABNAN, giving error,
Fiscal year 2011 is incorrect for post-capitalization of asset RI01 3002189-0,      Message no. AAPO012
Here i have given input for Document Date and Posting date as "Today's Date" (i.e 03.02.2012) and  Orig. Value date as "01,04,2008".
Also checked in Tcode OAAQ, Here Close Fiscal Year is 2009. i.e FY 2010 and 2011 is open.
Also In OB52 , current Perion 10/2011  and 11/2011  is open for my Variant. i.e Jan'2012 and Feb'2012 is open.
Also checked in Other SDN messages but could not get clear solution.
Pl suggest me some solution to solve my problem.

Swati Shah

    At this point in time we do not expose a mechanism to facilitate an automatic push of data to external systems.

    Try deauthorizing the computer even if you haven't authorized it. If you've already authorized it, deauthorize it twice and then authorize it again.

  • Issue with sales order stock that is referencing a non-existing sales order

    We have an issue with sale order stock.
    Due to user error we have ended up with a negative quant of sales order stock in a bin. Further the error was due to mis-keying of sales order number. Hence this negative quant is referencing a sales order that does not exist.
    We need to get rid of this quant.
    I thought of cycling this quant off as a solution. And hence replicated the scenario in the test system. I was able to create a TO to cycle it off but cannot clear the differences from 999 . The error I get while trying to do this is "SD document not in database or has been archived" . This error is true since the sales order actually does not exist. So cycling it off did not work.
    Can anyone suggest how we can get rid of this negative quant of sales order stock ?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You said that your user mistyped the SO number and it resulted in a -quant. In which transaction was it possible? If I give a non existing no. SAP doesn't allow me to book.
    If I were you I would check both in WM & IM what the user had done...step-by-step...
    Negative quant comes to existance in interim storage type if we book e.g. a GI. It should have started in IM...how was your user be able to do that??? If it was possible cannot you reverse the IM booking?
    (...if all else fails...cannot you create a SO document with external number assignment with the same number?...)

    Thanks,

    Add "Targets" attribute to the connection pool. You may
    get an idea how it looks like by searching config.xml
    for "targets". If target servers are not set, the pool won't be
    deployed and can not be used to a create datasource.

  • Creating a Socket to non-existent host very slow

    Why does it take a long time to try to create a Socket to a non-existent host on a Linux machine? On a Windows machine it takes approx. 20 sec., but when I try it on a Linux machine it takes approx. 180 sec.!
    Here's the code I'm using (very simple):
    import java.io.IOException;
    import java.net.Socket;
    import java.net.UnknownHostException;
    public class SocketCreator {
    public static void
    main(String[] args) {
    long _begin = System.currentTimeMillis();
    try {
    new Socket("10.10.10.10", 2000);
    } catch (UnknownHostException exception) {
    exception.printStackTrace();
    } catch (IOException exception) {
    exception.printStackTrace();
    long _end = System.currentTimeMillis();
    System.out.println("It took: " + (_end - _begin) + " ms.");
    Some additional info:
    - Java2 SDK 1.1.x, 1.3.x and 1.4.x
    - Windows XP
    - Red Hat 7.2, 9

    This is really a Linux system-wide problem. If you wanted to fix this in Java, you might even have to resort to JNI to sent yourself a signal and interrupt your system call (the system call is connect()).
    Unfortunately, the page give by "man tcp" on Linux is often not kept up-to-date with the many options available in /proc/sys/net/ipv4 .
    Also, access to the local LAN will often give a quick "No route to host" message.
    To test the long-timeout, you have to access a remote IP that does not exist. For instance, on Linux, if you start two xterms, and on the firxt you enter:
    telnet 66.120.89.14
    and on that second your enter
    netstat -an
    You will see something like this line:
    tcp 0 1 192.168.5.18:32836 66.120.89.14:23 SYN_SENT
    So now you know that the socket is sitting in SYN_SENT.
    Now, if you look on a nice, full man page of tcp, like
    http://www.die.net/doc/linux/man/man7/tcp.7.html
    You will see
    tcp_syn_retries
    The maximum number of times initial SYNs for an active TCP connection attempt will be retransmitted. This value should not be higher than 255. The default value is 5, which corresponds to approximately 180 seconds.
    Back on the second xterm, try:
    % cat /proc/sys/net/ipv4/tcp_syn_retries
    5
    I bet you got five also. You could turn it down to two (decreases time to around 20 seconds).
    You could try this as root:
    # sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_syn_retries=2
    or even add this command to your /etc/rc.d/rc.local file

    IT throws an error during import. All paths that were specified refer to non-existent or read-only repositories.
    Can anyone please suggest, what am I missing? Do I have to create any repositories on QA system. IF so, please suggest me how to do it?.

    Thanks,
    Raj

    As per my understanding you have created KMC file for folder "company" which is inside "root".
    Can you confirm if company folder exist in QA environment?? if it dosenot exist then create repository by performing following steps:
    1. Go to System Administration --> System Configuration --> Knowledge Management --> Content Management --> Repository Manager --> File system Repository OR CM Repository (as per your requirement)
    2. You can find whether you have to create Repository inside File System Repository OR CM Repository by looking into your test or developement environment by going into the path mentioned in step 1. Copy all the properties of the Company repository from test or dev environment.
    3. Now inside one of the repository(File System Repository OR CM Repository) you can create one repository with name Company.
    4. To create Company repository you will find the option "NEW" inside the above mentioned path and on clicking on the same, fill all the properties (take help of the properties you have copied in step 2).
    And now try to upload the KMC file.

  • RHX5 showing non-existent style

    We imported two Word docs, using the same style sheet both in
    the doc and in RH. All the styles are fine in both docs, except for
    one style. Doc A shows a good style "InstructionIndent", but in Doc
    B, the RH style field shows that RH has seen the same style as
    "INSTRUCTION". The css has been applied to all chapters. The style
    looks fine in the original Word doc.
    1) Does the all caps font of INSTRUCTIONS mean something
    special in RH, such as a non-existent style?
    2) Do I need to change all of these styles manually, or is
    there an easier way?
    Thank you,

    If yes, then can you check if you have created the transport target for the Business System XE_DEV_3RD_IMS_001 ?
    If you do not want this Business System to be a part of the New transport, i.e, you do not need this Business System in your transport, then my gut feel here is that one of your Config Scenarios still contines to use this Business System or,
    You are trying to import a Old version of your TPZ file.

  • What is NON-EXISTENT object_type?

    Hi,
    Can anybody explain what is NON-EXISTENT object_type. I see this type of objects sometimes when I do select * from dba_objects.

    As a simple demonstration:
    SQL> create or replace view my_objects
    2 as
    3 select * from user_objects
    4 ;
    View created.
    SQL> select
    2 referenced_owner,
    3 referenced_type,
    4 referenced_name
    5 from
    6 user_dependencies
    7 where
    8 name = 'MY_OBJECTS'
    9 ;
    REFERENCED_OWNER REFERENCED_TYPE REFERENCED_N
    SYS VIEW USER_OBJECTS
    PUBLIC SYNONYM USER_OBJECTS
    TEST_USER NON-EXISTENT USER_OBJECTS
    At present the view my_objects refers to the public synonym user_objects, thence to the sys-owned view user_objects because there is no local object called user_objects.
    If I now create something called user_objects, the view has to be invalidated and recompiled to reference that object.
    To ensure that the invalidation occurs, the database needs to know that a local user_objects is currently non-existent - hence the row in view user_dependencies (based on table sys.dependency$).
    This is Oracle 9i, in 10g the row for the sys view does not appear.
    P.S. Is there any way to use a fixed format for code in this system ? It's not obvious from the edit box.

              However, if the JSP is non-existent (not found in the file system), I get no exceptions
              and WL6.1sp2 seems to silently ignore it. I also do not see any errors in the WL
              log files. If the JSP does exist, then it loads up, and then if I subsequently
              delete it, I get an Exception as expected.
              Can anyone help with this? Is this a bug? Any help is appreciated!
              Thanks

    Hi,
    It seems that Group 10 of Thread 3 is still used as its status is current.
    Please try to do
    alter system switch logfile;
    alter system checkpoint;And see whats the status for thread 3 and also verify if really thread 3 is now required.
    And you can always disable this thread if now required.
    Thanks,

  • [SOLVED] Grub crash: seeking non-existent device

    A couple days ago, I did a successful fresh install on another computer.  Today, I took my hdd from my old system and added it as a slave on IDE1.  I didn't move or make any changes to /dev/sda (arch hdd) and BIOS successfully recognized the second hdd.
    Then when I boot, Grub complains:
    error: no such device: [some UUID]
    grub rescue>
    At this point, I'm assuming it must by the UUID of my first hdd and for some reason, it can't find it anymore.
    I should mention here that when I partitioned /dev/sda during installation, I used GPT, not MFT.  Since this computer is an older Dell that I'm resurrecting with Arch, it has an older BIOS, which means that gdisk had to create a very small bios-boot partition to make it somehow compatible with the BIOS.  I mention it because I'm not sure if that plays into any of this.
    Next, I boot the arch-install iso "ARCH_201310" off my keydrive, then blkid to see the UUIDs of both hard drives...nothing matches the UUID that grub complains about.  Then I go into gdisk and check all the UUIDs for disks, partitions...find nothing that matches.  I check my grub.cfg and it's not in there either.  Just out of curiosity, I regenerated my grub config and reinstalled grub (after arch-chroot, of course) and then rebooted.  Got the exact same message!  I'm totally at a loss now.  I have no idea what's going on.  I'm hoping the forum can help...so I don't have to go through the hassle of doing a fresh install all over again.  If it makes any difference...here's some output from the grub shell...I tried ls everything listed, but it couldn't find any filesystems.
    grub rescue> ls
    grub rescue> (hd0) (hd0,msdos4) (hd0,msdos3) (hd0,msdos2) (hd0,msdos1) (hd1) (hd2) (hd2,msdos2) (fd0)
    Not even sure why it listed (fd0) since I removed the floppy drive and turned it off in BIOS

    So just for the sake of completeness, in case anyone in the future has a similar issue and stumbles across this thread:
    The reason grub was giving an error about a non-existent device with a UUID which didn't belong to any of my current devices or partitions was because it had belonged to a previous installation on the same drive...one whose /boot was on the primary hdd of my previous computer.  I think I may have also mistakenly installed grub on the second hdd at that time, instead of on the primary one...so long story short, there were some artefacts on the MBR of the second hdd which grub was finding and complaining about.
    There were two possible solutions to resolving the boot failure: chrooting to my arch partition and re-installing grub, first on the second hdd, and then on the primary hdd; or the second option of removing the 55AA signature on the second hdd with a hex editor.  After choosing the simpler option of reinstalling grub on both hard drives, I then switched my second hdd back on in BIOS and rebooted normally.

  • Simulating a non-existent printer

    SIMULATING A NON-EXISTING PRINTER
    Before buying an expensive colour laser I would like to be able to take it for an imaginary test drive at home, check out all the printer options, generate Postscript files for the printer, and so on. Just play around with it basically. Then when I test drive in the store, I already am familiar with the printer and can really put it through its paces.
    So, is it possible to simulate having a printer if all the PPD files, and whatever other files are needed, are in the system but there is no printer connected? Or does the Mac require the printer to be present and have a two way conversation with it? I've used HP and Xerox installers but can never get the printer to come up under Print Centre, because I suppose there's no printer connected.
    Thanks in advance for any comments.

    Hi Guy,
    As you mentioned, the driver may not work if it can't actually find the printer. I've done this a few times myself. Every so often, the driver will work. Which is nice because then you can see all of the print and color options. Just as easy though is to go to the manufacturer's web site and download the user manual. They almost always have these as a PDF document.
    Beyond the actual use of the printer, color is another issue. Since all papers affect how color will look from the same printer, there's no way to tell what you'll get in regard to color unless you print on the paper you will be using. Better of course to profile it first if there is no profile from the manufacturer for the type of paper you want to use. But then you need profiling software and hardware.

  • Applescript Utility insists on non-existent Script Editor.app 2.1.2

    I recently got Script Editor to work after years of being bugged (was a 4 step process ending with replacing the resources folder in the package). It hadn't worked across several OSX clean installs, so there's no clue to what caused the corruption.
    Now, even though the Editor works, Utility only has 2.1.2 in it's pulldown. I have tried numerous times, including with a shut-down, to get this to "Select" the working Editor (2.1.1), but even though it is selected through the file-selector, it never gets set in the pulldown. The utility is 1.0. I've also checked system archives from 1, 2, and 3 years ago, and there has never been a version 2.1.2 on the computers we use.
    Will Applescript work properly with this incorrect listing for a non-existent version, and therefore unlocatable Editor? It would be very foolish to start writing scripts if the foundation upon which they are written is still fundamentally damaged. And will the only effect of this be that all Editor access must be done by clicking on an icon or alias?
    --Thanks

    The '2.1.2' version, which is only 404 kb, does not launch. Version 2.1.1 opens correctly and is 12.4 mb. Also, version '2.1.2' has a generic application icon (the pencil/paintbrush-A over blank document) whereas the 2.1.1 version has a script/pen icon if that helps. Both versions are, however, 2.1._ (either 2.1.1 or 2.1.2), not 2.2._, which I believe is the Leopard version that you had mentioned.
    I can't say for sure that this folder/app hasn't been in my finder for a while or not as it has only been as of this week that I switched my Finder's view from the standard icon view to 'columns' view without preview icons (that's how I noticed the duplicate folders with the same names stacked on top of each other). Thanks again for all your help.
    Best,
    John
