Non SD invoice in COPA reporting and other expenses

Hi Guys,
With reference to my previous thread, is it the right way to assign non SD invoice to value fields thru PA transfer structure. What would be the business impact of this. and do we need to do assessment to this PA trasfer structure.
And how this characteristics are attached to value fields ?

Hi ,
COPA gets values from Billing documents thru Condition Type/Value fields mapping ( KE4I).
Condition Types are to be mapped with Value fields in KE4I to have the value populated in COPA .
Values from FI to COPA flow thru PA Transfer Structure .

    Yes, you can bring them into COPA..
    While booking invoice in FB70, click on the Prof Segment button for the Revenue Line item... It would open a pop up window for you to enter the desired prof segments
    You need to map the revenue account into PA Trf Str in KEi1

    Dear Experts,
    In copa report ke30 COGS value come Rs 12129805 and in purchage order it shown 767537.34 which was assigned the sales order.
    In KE33 report i checked VRPRS was th value field which data flowing to copa and input parameter recoed type B to F.
    VPRS condition type assigned wit VRPRS value field in ke4i(Assignment of SD to copa value field).
    Please suggest why data coming mismatch.

    There could be difference in material prices mentioned in the PO,
    and at the time of PGI/billing. check material prices

  • How set authorizations for sales reports and other reports in SAPB1

    Hi, I'm currently working in SAP Business One Version 8.82
    The issue I'm facing is that I want to set it up so that certain users cannot see other users' sales information.  I know that I can turn on or off the Sales Analysis Report for various users for instance, but what I really want specifically is this.  Suppose we have 3 different teams: Team A consists of (Angie, Angela, and Anita the manager), Team B consists of (Bob, Barbara, and Ben the manager), Team C consists of (Cat, Charlie, and Courtney the manager).  I would like to make it so that everyone can view the individual sales order documents of everyone else (in case a customer calls and needs information, but the salesperson who created that document isn't there); however, Angie should only see her own orders when she does a Sales Analysis while Anita, the manager of Team A, should see the the orders of Angie, Angela, and herself of course.
    To summarize, I'd like to see the following
    1.  Each salesperson can lookup and view any sales order.
    2.  Each salesperson can run an sales report to view all his/her own open sales orders.
    3.  Each manager can run a sales report on his/her subordinates, but not on the other managers or their subordinates.
    4.  The boss or other people working in corporate are able to run a report on all open sales orders.
    What's the best way to approach this?  Is it best if I create my own report?  I haven't created any reports from scratch yet, so I'm not sure exactly how that works.  I'd like to be able to group the salespeople up by location if possible.  The sales analysis report doesn't really do that, but it is useful.  I just don't want everyone to be able to see the numbers on their peers.

    Answer:
    Create own report by using query and save under query manager and the assign for all group. So that all sales person can run this query  and can get sales order detail.
    2.  Each salesperson can run an sales report to view all his/her own open sales orders.
    Answer:
    Create individual query ( add condition in where clause slpname = 'XXX') for each sales person and save it under query manager and assign to particular user group
    3.  Each manager can run a sales report on his/her subordinates, but not on the other managers or their subordinates.
    Answer:
    Create query for only particular team (  condition is slpname = XXX OR YYY OR ZZZ) and save under query manager. Make schedule report on this and send it to only particular manger
    Same way create for another manager and schedule report.
    4.  The boss or other people working in corporate are able to run a report on all open sales orders
    Answer.
    Create query for all sales person and schedule report to big boss.

  • How to Add a new Selection Field in COPA Report

    Hi Gurus
    I'm new on SAP COPA reporting and I don't know how to solve this problem.
    I need add a new Selection-screen field (char1), not connected with any characteristic.
    This is necessary becuase if the user flag this field, when teh report is running I'll replace some key-figure values using the EXIT  
    ZXYEXF05. I don't find any instruction how to define this simple kinfd of variable, and use it into a Report.

    I'll try to explain better my need.
    I've 10 CO-PA Key-Figures used to Split in the Cost of a material in different Cost Items.
    Using the customizing I fill these key-figures using some rules.
    The new requirement is use SOMETIME the same KF, by displaying different Costs overwritting the original values using the exit ZXYEXF05. But I need to know when the user wants consider the original value of KF, and when he wants overwrite these values (when I have to run teh exit). So I thought to create a new Selection-screen field (Char1), to permit to the user to pass to some report this user request. I thought to define a global variable, and add it to several reports when this feature is required.
    Can you suggest a better solution ???
    I could create some empty KF and fill them using teh exit, but I would prefer not expand the CO-PA structure.

  • COPA report & G/L balance misatched

    Dear Experts,
    Will u pls explain me when i see G/L balance of Domestic Sales(G/l number 500000) it come  200050.If i check it through COPA report in same period/year,distribution channel of Domestic sale it shows  me different figure.In the COPA repot in top list item when i check FI documents one by one some documents are missing.Pls suggest me how i got correct data in the COPA report and why the  documents not seen in COPA reprt.Pls suggest.

    FI - COPA reconciliation is always a tedious task and time consuming.
    Download COPA line item data from KE24 and FI balance from FBL3n and compare the balances by record type.
    1. Make sure cost element category for your sales GL 500000 is either set to 11 or 12.
    2. Check the record type of COPA documents posted in KE24.
    3. If the record type is F which comes thru SD/Billing module, check and make sure the FI Balance matches with COPA for this record type. You need to get the FI balance for this record type either by user/Job name or by different doc type.
    4. Check if there is any direct FI-PA transfer structure is activated for this GL and if any user posted FI entry with manual entry of characteristics, where by some of the characteristics are not input correct/blank. This is higly prone transaction for FI - COPA reconciliation issue.
    5. Check if there is any direct COPA entry posting made thru transaction KE21N. This will result in more/less balance in COPA than in FI.
    6. Check if any copa entries are transferred thru external system, and few important characteristics not derived properly.
    7. Check KEDR derivations are set properly
    8. Check if any other cost element area are allocated to this cost element in Controlling Allocations/distributions/assesments.
    9. Last but not the least, check if the COPA report you are checking is able to identify the correct characteristics. If not amend the report based on the data poste.

  • Varaince cant able to see in copa report

    previously my scenarios is MTO now for one division they have changed it MTS.
    i could able to settle prodution order through ko88 during settlement of production order variance is calculated without any error.
    i could not able see to these variance in copa report.
    and that to variance is coming in ke24 only when i select production order.
    during settlement of production order copa douctment is generating sucessfully.
    please help if i had missed any configuration.

    i have not catch ur points here,
    production order selection characteristics means i have selected order characteristic in define segment leval charactersitics
    and record type in ke35 from record type to  to record type.
    when i select production order number in ke24 actual line i could able to see copa report that belong to varaince that which have settled during ko88 of production order.
    do i have missed  any configuration part please suggest me.

  • Crystal report(Can i link sub report and main report Compulsorily) - invalid path

    hi.
    i need small clarification.
    i am developing one Crystal report
    main report i took it from rdr1 one table...
    report is working fine..
    Sub report i took it from inv1 one table.
    i have not linked any fields from these tables.
    May be it is having links in b1..
    but in my other report both the tables.... from main report  and sub report does not have any relation.
    My Questions is..
    Can i Compulsorily link fields to main report...
    if both does not have any relation what should i do...
    i took two tables.
    main report rdr1
    sub report inv1...
    if i  run the report it is asking two parameters one is for sub report and other one for main report working find in crystal report.
    but...i want to run the report in b1.
    while importing i am getting the error (Plz have a look on below image)
    if i choose any other report it is importing  fine...
    Clearly i am mentioning i dont want to link both tables there is no links between two reports...
    in this scenario can develop  a report..

    I was asked by someone that if it is possible to create report and schedule in one single worksheet?  As you set report/schedule in workbook options for the file my assumption was its not possible. Is there any work around?
    Also i was asked about mandate in evsnd. I havent come across that either. what is it?

    Yes! You can create report and schedule in single work sheet. If you insert 2 different evdre's , one for report and other for schedule then use [Get only range|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_bpc75_nw/helpdata/en/47/b9a7ccae664edb9034c3579ebec486/content.htm] for report area.
    Or using a single evdre also you can acheive this by selecting part of range not to send.

    Hi,
    I've been creating a copy of a standard report and adjusting it to customer requirements. The point is that, in the middle, I created several copies of the standard report and several copies of the initial selection values.
    Find attached 2 screenshots with corresponding questions:
    1.Selection:
    a) why am I seeing first 3 lines in white background and next 3 with grey background, what does this color differentiation mean?
    b) I am trying to delete all these entries except the first one, however, it happens that when picking them the Delete button is not getting enabled, any idea?
    c) it happens some times that, when selecting any of the none selected entries, it automatically gets unchecked and the initial value gets checked again, any idea?
    2. Reports:
    d) similar question to (b), for some reason Delete button is not getting enabled, any solution?

  • COPA Report current period and previous period issue

    Hi Gurus,
    I have defined COPA report (Tcode KE94) based on line items. Now I want all values to be displayed based on an entry parameter in terms of period. That is to say that  If I give input values of "010.2013" as a period entry , my report should display the values for the the period specified i.e. 010.2013 in the first column and in second column  values for the period 009.2013 should be displayed and in the third column values for the period 001.2013 till 010.2013 should be displayed cumulatively.
    For this, I choosed the character "period/year" in General data selection tab, clicked "Variable on/off" tab and gave values "From"  as well as "To" for the Global Variable "OFP"  which is Curr.fisc.per./year.
    For the 1st column (1st column which is suppose to display the values according to selection parameter), along with the character "company code" , I choosed the character "period" and clicked "Variable on/off" tab and gave value "From"  as well as "To" for the Global Variable "OFP"  which is Curr.fisc.per./year.
    For the 2nd column (2nd column which is suppose to display the values for the immediately preceeding period of the selection parameter), along with the character "company code" , I choosed the character "period" and clicked "Variable on/off" tab and gave value "From"  as well as "To" for the Global Variable "OFP"  which is Curr.fisc.per./year. While doing so, I selected operator as "-" and choosed offset as 1.
    For the 3rd column (3rd column which is suppose to display the cumulative values from the beginning of the fiscal year till the period mentioned in the selection parameter), along with the character "company code" , I choosed the character "period" and selected 001 in "From" and 016 in "To" tab.
    Company Code selected in all the three columns is same and I have selected actual values i.e. 0 for "plan/actual indicator" tab.
    When I run the report through Tcode KE30 , I give values as "010.2013" for the From and To selection tabs. System shows the values as per the selection parameter in the 1st column which is correct  but display values same as per coulmn 1st in the 3rd column which is wrong because it should be cumulative. 2nd column is blank. 
    How to display the values for the immediately preceeding period and for cumulative period?

    Thanks for the reply. Here are the screen shots.
    For the general data selection tab
    For the first column "current month" i.e. for the month
    For the second column "Last Months"
    For the third column "Cumulative" i.e. year to date
    Following is the result of KE30
    Values for the period 010.2013
    You can see that values in the report for the period 011.2013 contains value for the previous period which is 59090.21
    This value is matching when the report is run for the period 010.2013.
    But in both the reports,the figures for Current month and YTD (year to date) are same.
    Please let me know what setting is required in the current month column.
