Non US resident mail ordering LR from US shop
I am not from the US, but intend to mail order a boxed version of Lightroom 3 from BH Photo.
Will I be able to register & update LR from my country?
No mention is made on the EUA of Adobe, except that Adobe reads my IP when I update my software.
So Adobe US will know that I am not in the US and not allow update?

LR (so far) does not 'phone home' like CS or other adobe Software does. As long as you have a valid key you can activate LR.
I don't see any problem with buying the Software from a US shop and use it somewhere else.

Now once you press the save button it will be sent to the address maintained in the vendor master of the vendor of the PO. Please note you require some basic settings from BASIS side as well.

Mail order pictures natively from iOS 8?
IIs there any way to order prints from the stock picture app? With Apple discontinuing iPhoto for iOS I can't find a replacement way to order prints from photos like you could in iPhoto.
DOes anyone kmow kmow of a good workaround?That's weird cause my videos are all interspersed with everything else like they used to be, which unfortunately means it's inconsistently screwing up too. My pics start with 2007 (first year i got an iphone) then run up to about 2014 vaguely in order, then back to 2013 where everything's all out of order, then down to 2012 again (also out of order), then 2011, 2010, 2009 etc like it's running backwards to 2007. Then once it hits 2007 again, it jumps to this past july.

In the US I have not seen a state that allows an individual to claim tax exemption...that is reserved for authorized institutions like public school systems. Only certain states do not have no-sales tax laws. When I lived in France, to be free from VAT one had to be a non-citizen and would be reimbursed for goods that were shipped out of the country upon exiting the country...not while still residing there. That was pretty typical of other European countries at the time, Pre-EU days, that is.

Non static method cannot be referenced from a non static context
Dear all
I am getting the above error message in my program.

I have done a wider search throughout the main class and I'm haven't got any static their either.

I had pared down my code, infact it is being called from within a large if statement.Irrelevant.
But the same thing still holds that there is no static keyword used.Read my previous post. Calling checkUnits using the class name:
RecStore.checkUnits(XY);implies a static context--in order for that call to work, checkUnits must be static. That's what your error message is saying--you are trying to call the non-static method "checkUnits" from the static context of using the class name "RecStore." -

Is it possible to sort dimension values in order different from alphabetic. То use this sorting in BI Beans. In 10g r2 with awm 10.2.0.2. I try to add attribute like it was show in this forum, but nothing changes.

It creates a variable - integer - that defines the default order of the dim values. I'm viewing it with AWM and BIBeans. The order is respected with Level-based and Value-based hierarchy but my hierarchies are really simple and unique for all the dimensions.
BUT !!!! Be carefull, if you don't have any hierarchy in your dimension, you must have at least one level - the default NONE level. Otherwise, it won't work ??? -

E-Mailed PO Notifications from the Notification Mailer rejected by Vendor
Greetings All! We have an issue where some of our vendors have spam filters that are rejecting the E-Mailed POs coming from the PO approval WF process. We are currently on R12 and wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what was done to get around the issue. The notification mailer is sending the messages out but our internal Unix domain (where the EBS resides) is buried in the e-mail header and the Vendor's spam filter rejects the message as it believes the mail is spam.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I've checked those notes and they do not apply. The Notification Mailer itself is working properly and is sending e-mails to the vendors. The problem is that the R12 Java SMTP program doesn't allow us the control we had with the concurrent program in 11i. In 11i we could include Sendmail line commands in the wfmail.cfg file that allowed us to spoof the "From" address so that it appeared the mail came from our external corporate domain. In R12, we don't have access to that since the Java notiifcation mailer uses basic SMTP and the "From" parameter just changes the human-friendly name for the e-mail withoug changing the actual from address. As such the mail headers for the e-mails have our internal unix domain which isn;t valid outside of our firewall. We have done some work with a Unix alias that solves the problem for a couple of the vendors but there are still vendors rejecting our e-mails if they come from the Unix box.The bounce messagess provided to me by our network team clearly show that it is a spam filter rejection due to an invalid domain. I'm looking to see if any other companies have hot this problem and what they may have done to get around it.

I have two personal e-mail accounts and a general account that I have synced to my Mail app, but I keep getting emails sent to the non-personal e-mail because they're on the same server. How can I change that?
The only ways I know of for email to get sent to an account are:
1. It was addressed to that account. Someone used that email address to send you the email.
2. It was forwarded to that account by the account to which it had been addressed. I am not aware of Mail having this feature but it is often a feature provided by your ISP that you can turn on by logging into your account via the Internet and setting it up. I assume you have not done this, though.
With several email addresses in the same Mail client, you have to be careful which one you are sending from. If you send from the wrong address, any replies will come back to that same address. I make this mistake all too often. -
Mail stops downloading from server
Hello all -
We are running 10.3.9 on a 733MHz Tower G4.
We have four separate user accounts, each of which uses the same Mail application (1.3.11). With three of the accounts, there is no problem. However, there is a goofy problem when using Mail on the fourth account.
After successfully running Mail for "a while" (downloading, sending, etc), we suddenly get the following error message when attempting to look at any mail:
"The message from (what we're trying to look at) has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it."
We are, in fact, online and have been opening and reading mail messages for "a while."
This error message appears not only when we try to open a new mail, but also when we try to look again at a mail we've already opened! No matter what we try to read (new or already opened), we get only the error message, not the mail message.
Quitting Mail and restarting it solves the problem, for a while. But it eventually rears its ugly head again.
Any ideas - ??

The employe from the company where I got my internship are currently using mail address that are like [email protected] and the company wants them to
use the new mail address [email protected] (in both case the employee are using outlook).
The problem is that they would like to keep their old mail and contact. I know you can do a manual archive but can you import it in a new account ? Will it also
save the contact of the user ? Since it's a new account with a new domain, I really have no idea how to transfer mail and contact from the old account to the new one.

On all installations, including those with no e-mail accounts, Microsoft Outlook creates a default Outlook Address Book. The Outlook
Address Book consolidates all your Outlook Contacts folders. The Outlook Address Book is a virtual address book instead of a physical address book because Outlook does not store the Outlook Address Book as a file that is separate from your data store. The
Outlook Address Book provides a view to your Contacts folders.
Unlike the Outlook Address Book, a personal address book (PAB) is a physical address book that Outlook stores on disk that is separate
from your data store. You can add one PAB to an e-mail profile, and use the PAB to store additional contact information.
You can use the PAB to store personal addresses or to store other contact information that you want to keep separate from your other
Outlook data. Additionally, you can use a PAB to share addresses with other users. The PAB uses a .pab file name extension, and Outlook creates the PAB file when you add the PAB to your e-mail profile.
How to identify the PAB file that your e-mail profile uses
Start Outlook.
On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
Under Directory, click View or change existing directories or address books, and then click Next.
Under You can choose a directory or address book below to change or remove it, click Personal Address Book, and then
click Change.
Note the path of your PAB file that is in the Path box. You will require this information to find the PAB file in step 3 in the "How to copy the PAB file to
a second computer" section of this article.
For example, C:\Exchange\Mailbox.pab indicates that a PAB named Mailbox.pab is located on a Microsoft Exchange folder on your drive C.
Click OK, and then click Finish to close all dialog boxes.
On the File menu, click Exit.
How to copy the PAB file to a second computer
Quit all e-mail programs.
Start Microsoft Windows Explorer.
In the Folders pane, expand the folders to locate the PAB file whose path you took note of in step 5 in the "How to identify the PAB File that your e-mail profile
uses" section of this article.
Copy the PAB file to a 3.5 inch disk, and then use that disk to copy the PAB file to the second computer. Note the path of the PAB file on the second computer.
For example, if you copy the PAB file named Mailbox.pab to a folder that is named Address Book on drive C, the path of the address book is as follows:
C:\Address Book\Mailbox.pab
Alternatively, if your two computers are on the same network, you can copy the PAB file from the source computer to a network share on the second computer.
For more information about how to perform this task in Microsoft Windows, see your Windows printed documentation or your online Help.
Note You can save the PAB file in any folder on the destination computer as long as you remember the location.
How to configure your second computer to use the new PAB file
If you do not have the Personal Address Book service in your e-mail profile on the second computer, you must add the service before
you can add the new PAB file to your profile. To add the Personal Address Book service for the new PAB file, follow these steps:
Start Outlook.
On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
Under Directory, click Add a new directory or address book, and then click Next.
Click Additional Address Books, and then click Next.
In the Additional Address Book Types box, click Personal Address Book, and then click Next.
In the Path box, type the path of the PAB file that you copied to the second computer in step 4 in the "How to copy the PAB file to a second computer" section

If you receive the The E-mail account you have just added will not be start until you choose Exit from the file menu, and then restart Outlook prompt, click OK.
On the File menu, click Exit, and then restart Outlook. Your new PAB is now available.

new PAB file. To change an existing Personal Address Book service to use the new PAB file, follow these steps:
On the second computer, start Outlook.

In the Outlook processes e-mail for these accounts in the following order list, click Personal Address Book, and

Does anyone know if I can keep my non-Verizon e-mail accounts when I get a FIOS connection? The reason I ask is I previously had a Verizon DSL account and I could not use my e-mail account with a seperate ISP. Is this scenario possible with a FIOS Internet account?

I also do the reverse, send from my FiOS email account using OE while connected via AT&T (I did have trouble in the beginning because they were blocking Port 25, but a short phone call to their tech support fixed that problem).
I don't know whether Verizon only blocks port 25 in certain areas of the country, or perhaps have removed the block completely, but it most certainly works ok for me.

cannot send or receive yahoo mail or gmail from iPhone . installed ios 6 recently. tried rebooting the phone and deleting the email account and adding again but nothing works ! can someone suggest a solution?
Not sure about yahoo, but for gmail, I done the following:
Set up using Exchange on iPhone, it'll keep prompting for password. On PC use captcha option, log in to gmail account from PC after completingg captcha option, enter password on iPhone.
See how that goes for gmail, let us know.
Hopefully someone will have fix for yahoo.
