Non-usb internal DTU smartcard reader redirection

I can get usb smartcard readers to redirect to my vista vm but can't seem to get the internal DTU smartcard reader redirection going. My setup is vdi 3.1.1, vbox 3.0.14. With a vista vm, what driver should be used for the accessing the internal DTU smartcard reader? Where do you normally get the driver? Is it suppose to be part of the Sun_Ray_Connector_Windows_Components install? How does the internal dtu smartcard reader device get mapped over to a vm? Im guessing it comes of as usb. How should a correctly forwarding dtu's internal reader showup in a vm. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

1.) follow http://wikis.sun.com/display/SRS/PCSC-lite+1.3+Installation+Guide
2.) Run a kiosk with uttsc -r card:on or tick the checkbox in the vdi menu
3.) Have a smartcard that is supported when plugging into the sun ray compare with
bash-3.00# /etc/opt/SUNWut/smartcard
bash-3.00# ls -lrt

4.) If you have a smartcard, that's not supported here but have *.cfg for it, copy it over here and it to probe_order.conf

That's my recipe ...
and last, but not least, don't use smartcards with extended ADPU, they do not work (that's what I'm wrestling with).

  • [SOLVED]Laptop Internal SD card reader no longer working

Two weeks ago I purchased a Raspberry Pi and set up my own SD card with Arch Linux ARM using the directions at http://archlinuxarm.org/platforms/armv6/raspberry-pi with the internal SD card reader on my laptop and had no issues.  Today I decided to load up a XBMC distro to a new SD card, but my internal card reader doesn't seem to autodetect or mount my new card.  I tried inserting my other card with Arch ARM that I know is a good card, but it no longer works with that card either.  Here are all my logs that I could think of to post for any advice:

It seems I have all the necessary information, but I am not sure where to go from here.  It's obvious my laptop is detecting the card being inserted and removed, but the card reader is never listed in /dev so I can't mount it.  It's listed under lspci but not under lsusb.  I'm assuming that it was two weeks ago and that's why it worked, but I'm not sure how to get lsusb to detect it so it will work again.  Thanks for any help you guys have.

  • How can you get a non-usb microphone to work?

So i've run into a few discussions on this topic, but never seen an answer to it. I have a non-usb microphone (A HyperX Cloud headset) that I want to use with my MacBook Pro. How can I do this? I'm assuming there is an adapter I can get for the microphone to work, right?

You will need a mic interface, you can get a pretty decent one for around $100, check this one out! http://www.amazon.com/Focusrite-Scarlett-Solo-Compact-Interface/dp/B00MTXU2DG/re f=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1426555875&sr=8-2&k… or an adapter from http://www.amazon.com/IK-Multimedia-instrument-microphone-interface/dp/B00C68MZX E/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1426555978&sr=8… Sorry there is no other way around it.

  • Non-English international email addresses

    Hi
Any help or pointers are much appreciated.
I get data feed from our HR database to our application database.
Some of the email addresses are non-english ( international ).
    The questions is 1.
    1. how do I store, retrive and use the same for posting email notification ?
    2. What should be my database server charater set ?
    3. What should be my client application charater sert ?
4.How do I capture the email address. Meaning what is the data type of the email address field in the table.
    5. Will there be any impact on other oracle database, which is connecting to our application database
    thanks
    siva

    Thank you, Dan.
Sorry, what I meant by "non-existent" is not quite
straightforward. Let me explain this way:
I observed the problem only occurred to emails of our
company. For instance: our company's email address ends with
    @abc.com.
    my email address: [email protected]
my previous colleague's address: [email protected] (he's gone and
the email is invalid / deactivated now)
my client's email: [email protected] (used to be valid)
    If I code this way:
    <cfmail to="[email protected]" failto="[email protected]"...>
"failto" does work and I got the email.
    but if these:
    <cfmail to="[email protected]" failto="[email protected]"...>
    <cfmail to="[email protected];[email protected]"
    failto="[email protected]"...>
I never got emails reporting the failure but error lines in
the mail log and the exceptions log which read:
    "Error","scheduler-3","01/28/09","11:55:32",,"Invalid
    Addresses"
    "Error","scheduler-3","01/28/09","11:55:32",,"Invalid

  • How do I plug a non-USB microphone into a Mac Pro?

Question from an audio newbie....I've got a 2009 Mac Pro desktop computer. I just bought a microphone headset. The headset has a two-pronged plug in, a green one for the headset (speakers) and a pink one for the microphone. My Mac Pro has two speaker ports - one in front and one in back - but I can't find anyhwere to attach the microphone plug.
I don't want a USB headset because my USB ports are already maxed out. How can I attach this non-USB microphone and get it to work?

Look at your back side. Look at the booklet too that it came with or from support page manual.

there are digital out audio and microphone on the backside.

  • Attaching USB Drive - Can't read AP configuration file, kills internet

    Current network:
    Airport Extreme (Sim Dual-Band)
    Mac Pro (wired Ethernet)
MacBook Pro (wired or WiFi N)
    MacBook (WiFi N)
    2 x iPhones (WiFi G)
Airport Extreme in use for several months with no problems. All Macs can read/write it's configuration.
I hooked up a 1TB My Book USB HD to the Airport Extreme via USB. All three Macs (Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, MacBook) could see and read/write to the new drive. The Airport Extreme appeared in Airport Utility on all three Macs. Wired, WiFi N + G internet continued to work great... however none of the Macs could read the configuration file of the Airport Extreme. If I unplugged the USB drive all the Macs could read and write to the configuration file.
I plugged the USB drive back in and left it overnight. This morning, everything continued to work, with the exception that none of the computers could read the configuration of the AP.
Around 10am today the Macs/iPhones could no longer connect to the internet. I disconnected the USB drive and now the internet works again.

  • SmartCard Reader issues

    Hi,
I use SmartCards for business and online transactions, and I bought a USB SmartCard Reader for my Mac Book Pro. The reader is the SCR3310, and I've noticed with the one I bought and some of my co-workers' readers, my Lap top will not recognize the reader when I plug it in nor push any power to it. My USB ports work well enough in the sense that I can plug in my USB mouse, keyboards, and external hard drives without any problems. The weirder thing is one of my co-workers has an older MacBook Pro, and his does work with my Smart Card Reader, is there some weird security setting that is not allowing my USB drives to recognize this reader? If so how can I adjust it?
    Thank you for any information!
    Tomes

I don't have any specific guidlines. If a source or source RPMS (SRPMS) available for the SCR335 on any other linux distribution, it may be possible to rebuild them for JDS.

I call the repair shop and they told me it would coast $2000 to get it fix, they told me that my mother board was burn, so I send them an email telling them if my mother board was burn wouldnt be able to use my imac. I could get a new one for that price.

I installed the DM 4.3 from the CD tonight. Hooked up the BB and everything worked fine. Loaded some music onto the media card and downloaded some pictures. Then I unhooked to see if the music was on the Blackberry, when I hooed it back up, it wouldn't recognize. I tried a few times, then uninstalled the software, re-installed, still nothing, then un-installed and downloaded 4.7 and installed, still nothing, now my computer doesn't recognize ANY USB ports (web-cam, Media Center Remote) and none of the Media Card reader drives are visible in My Computer. I had the exact same thing happen.  Called RIM.  According to RIM this is a known issue.  Nothing can be done to the device to bring it back.  They had me go through the RMA process to get the device replaced.

  • SanDisk USB 3.0 Card Reader does not work with OSX Mavericks.

Since updating to OSX Mavericks (10.9) My  USB 3.0 SanDisk "ImageMate All-in-One" Card Reader has begun to fail.
It all seems to work proper at first. The memory card shows up in finder and I'm able to browse the files. But when I try to transfer any files it un-mounts from finder and only transfers the first file.
This does not happen under previous OSX versions. I have tried on other computers since, so the card reader is fine.
My USB 2.0 card reader saved my life this time. It works totally fine.
Is this a known problem? Are you guys working on it?

    That is not discussed here:

  • None of my iDevices can read my iTunes library after an hour of availibility. When I first start iTunes I can read the library, but after about 30 minutes my iPad's and iPhones can no longer access the library. I see it in the shared list, but no access.

None of my iDevices can read my iTunes library after about 30 minutes. My iDevices lose connection to my library and  I have to do one of the three following things in iTunes to regain connectivity: 1. Restart iTunes 2: Stop / Start Home Services 3: Start playing a song.
I'ts as if iTunes goes into a background or sleep mode. During the loss of connectivity my iDevices show that there's a library shared, but I cannot connect to it.

Smae issue here, but I'm unable to get Home Sharing started again (after MAc and iOS restarts, Home Sharing on/off. etc.) This happend a few weeks ago and turngin Home Sharing Off/On fixed the connection issue b/w iPad2 5.1 and iTunes 10.6.1 running on a OSX10.6.8.
I updated to iOS 5.1.1 on iPad2 today, watched a movie and then about 20 minutes into a 2nd movie I lost connection (Sharing tab in Video app disappeared and has not come back.) The update seems like the culprit, but odd it worked for over 2 hours before stopping, odd I can't get Sharing to work anymore (iTunes see's my iOS devices b/c I can conenct to iTunes to enter my passcod efor connecting the Remote app.) Appears to be an issue with iTunes broadcasting Home Sharing, even thougt it says it is on.
