Noob question - variable elements don't show up

I’m having an issue where I have a valid xsd that I’m trying to create a variable for. It creates the variable fine, but none of the children elements show up. It looks like they try to show up and then quickly disappear. I’m sure it’s something I didn’t either set correctly or do right since this is my first non-hello world attempt. Am I missing a step? The steps I’ve done are the following:
-     In the structure window I imported the schema and the root node shows up fine.
-     I then create a message type under the process WSDL, which goes fine.
-     Then I create the variable based on message type which works fine.
-     When I finally try to expand the children nodes under variable they don’t show up.
What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

You may be suffering from a parsing error. I've even had correct docs that are validating in XMLSpy fail in JDeveloper for various reasons. These problems have dealt with rpc-encoded documents. Look at the doc inside of JDeveloper and see if there are any validation errors.
There is a checkbox in the bottom left part of the GUI when you're trying to navigate that might give you idea of the problem.

In most cases the problems may be caused by:
Problem with the computer's PRAM - See Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM.
Boot drive's directory has been corrupted - Repair with Disk Utility.
Critical system files are damaged or deleted - Reinstall OS X.
The disk drive is physically non-functional - Replace the hard drive.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
The main difference if you are using Lion or Mountain Lion is that you must first boot from the Recovery HD:

You will have to contact iTunes Support and tell them you have forgotten your Security Questions and need them reset. They will respond to you by email, usually within 24 hours. Here are two links to contact iTunes Support:

Quit the editor, then restart it while holding down cmd+shift+option. Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

Syncing & Streaming from the same Library? - Noob question

Good Evening - I have a silly noob question that I can't believe I can't find the answer to on my own: I have been trying to determine if it is possible to sync and stream from the same library simultaneously.
I purchased the 40GB aTV and it has been syncing just fine with my Windows iTunes. I told it not to sync a few albums I never listen to so I wouldn't have issues with other songs or movies. I am upgrading to a new iMac and I am am going to re-rip many of my existing CD's to get them into a consistent audio quality of 192 AAC or above. This is going to push my library size to well over the 40GB limit in just music, not including any movies or TV shows I choose to pull in.
The manual does not make it obvious (or I am not reading clearly) what happens to items that don't sync over - I assume they are still playable but will have to stream. Is there anyway to mark "preferred" albums or artists that should get synced and not streamed in case the iTunes library is unavailable for whatever reason?
Also, when I change libraries is the aTV going to completely re-sync even though the music is must going to be migrated?

That's not quite what I was looking for.
My question remains, what happens to the items that can't be synced from my main library to my aTV? My library is just a smidge bigger than the available space on the aTV and not everything syncs over. Does that mean I won't be able to play those items not synced from my main library...
As my library grows I don't want to have to choose what does and doesn't get synced from my library by mood. For example, every year my wife buys new christmas music - right now I could exclude it and everything else gets copied over, but come thanksgiving that stuff better be there for her and I don't want to choose other music or movies to remove.
I guess I will just have to play to try it out.

Have you inadvertently saved the files in a hidden or system folder that Explorer is not searching? Or have you used unusual characters in the file name?
I use and highly recommend 'Search Everything' - once its done its initial index it is faster and more complete than Windows Search.

Noob Question: Flowing Input Dataset Row/Record IDs Through to the Score Model Output

I've got a noob question that I'm having difficulty finding the answer to: if my input dataset contains row/record IDs and I want to flow these through to the Score Model module output but *don't* want to include this column in model training (because
it's just an arbitrary row tag), how do I go about accomplishing this?
I am able to Project Columns and eliminate the IDs entirely early in the process but then can't really determine which input row a prediction is associated with because I've lost the IDs. I'm not quite sure how to accomplish what I'm trying to do via
the Metadata Editor, either.
Surely somebody else has dealt with this same question. If the solution is implemented somewhere in a Gallery experiment that you'd like to point me at, too, that would also be just as good as a written explanation.

Sorry for making this process unclear :( Azure ML has a notion of Feature Columns
(by default everything is a Feature), that is columns/variables that are intended to be treated as part of the observation vector. You can use the Metadata Editor
and (after selecting the column(s) you want), mark the column as
Fields -> Clear Feature. This will have the semantics you desire - data attached to the input data while not being used for training.

GPRS networking : Noob question

I am making a wireless remote data acqusition vi. This is not exactly a labview question, but I do know that quite a few labview guys have done wireless remote data acqusition, and like me are from engineering and non IT background, so you guys will understand my noob conceptual problem. Any experience shared will have kudos.
1. If my understanding correct for my gprs network?
I got the below ordinary USB wireless modem people normally use for internet browsing.
I plug the usb wireless modem to my laptop. I go to whatismyip.com, it shows the IP address 220.255.7.139. I type ipconfig, it shows the IP address is 119.234.164.229! So why is the two Ip address shown is different? I as a noob thinks that whatismyip.com is showing the gateway address of my usb modem gprs network visible to the internet. And ipconfig is showing the ip address of my usb modem inside the GPRS APN but not visible to internet. Is my understanding correct at this point?
2. I then unplug and plug the usb modem, check the ipconfig, and repeat. I notice each time the Ip address shown in ipconfig is different. This shows that the modem ip inside the GPRS APN is a dynamic IP, not a static IP. Is my understanding correct for point 2?
3. I unplug and plug the usb modem, and check whatismyip.com. I notice the each time ip address shown in whatismyip.com is different. This shows that my usb modem gateway is appearing as a dynamic IP address in the internet, not a staic IP as one noob would intuitively think. Is my understanding correct for point 3?
4. So below is my overall understanding of my usb modem core GPRS network architecture. Is my conceptual understanding correct?
5. So now I have a Sierra Wirelessmodem RavenXT, which manual claims that my PC vi can find the RavenXT inside the GPRS APN with the help of DDNS (dyndns.com) without the need for static IP. Well from my understanding, DDNS would only work if the RavenXT has static IP inside the APN. If the RavenXT has dynamic IP inside the APN , from my understanding above, the DDNS cannot find the dynamic IP in the GPRS APN, because dyndns.com is in the internet world, there is no DDNS in the GPRS APN. So the DDNS concept generally would not work if the office PC is to find a remote modem wirelessly and the IP addresses inside the GPRS APN are dynamic.
But however DDNS for Sierra Wireless Raven XT is used extenstively in USA. So I estimate that USA's GPRS APNs generally assign static IP inside its private network, unlike the GPRS networks my country. Is my understanding correct? What is your experience of this?

I'm no expert on these matters but I'm fairly certain that for 1 to 4 you have concluded correctly.
Not having dealt with DynDNSso far I'm not sure about the last point. DynDNS as far as I understand it, only is a simply service to register your dynamic public IP adress under a fixed DNS name, so you can refer to your dynamic IP system from the world wide web by a static DNS name. As such I'm not sure why the dynamic internal IP address should be even an issue.
Modems supporting DynDNS simply will on the assignment of a new external IP address forward that address to the DynDNS service as new address to the configured DynDNS name. If a modem doesn't support that out of the box I'm pretty sure DynDNS supports a protocol interface where you could write a small LabVIEW VI to register a new IP address for an existing DynDNS name. Maybe it doesn't even require your VI to know the currently used external IP address as it could easily see that from the originating address of the connection.
The modem itself will simply forward any incoming connection to your computer, independant of its dynamic internal IP address, provided your network rules in the modem are configured for that correctly.

Keywords imported but don't show up with photos

I am not getting keywords to show up with imported photos. i've done a lot of searching on this and other forums to try to figure out what is different about my situation but to no avail. here's what I've deduced though:
the keywords will import if I deselect “Copy the items to the iPhoto Library”. But if I leave the default box checked", I will not get keywords associated with the photos.
(the rest of my discussion deals with a library where the imported photos ARE copied to the library)
Interestingly, the keywords ARE imported into iPhoto (if one looks at the keyword list); they just aren't attached to the photos (i.e. clicking <Get Info> shows no keywords, as opposed to them being there but just not showing up on the screen with the image). Most (but not all) of my imported photos show up in iPhoto without any keywords attached. Most Events are all-or-nothing; i.e. all the photos of the event either have keywords or don’t. At least one Event is a mix. I cannot make any sense as to why some do, as the ones that do will be part of an event that all the other photo's don't show the keywords; additionally, neither the ones with nor the ones without keywords share any common feature or change (e.g. edited, rotated, file type, keyword/tag name, etc.).
I'm a pretty basic user when it comes to photos (but with a fair amount of common sense and computer knowledge); not trying to do anything fancy here. I don't know much about photography, so I'm not manipulating photo settings on my camera and am not (purposefully/knowingly) manipulating the metadata directly from the file. So, I'm baffled as to why my system would be acting differently than any other "out of the box" iMac.
In case it matters:
-- the photos being imported originated from a Windows-based PC and tagged by Adobe Photoshop Elements. I have the same problem regardless of whether I export them (using Photoshop) to a file on the iMac or directly import them over the network from the PC using iPhoto.
-- (Using iPhoto Library Manager) I created another iPhoto library to see if the same thing would happen with photos imported to a different library -- same problem. (BTW, I checked the new library's Keywords BEFORE I imported to make sure the keyword "library" wasn't somehow replicated from the previous library.)
-- In one of your forum discussions, you said that these “copies” would be in the “Originals” folder within the iPhoto package, right? If so, then they are the same size as the files being imported minus a few KBs, presumably due to the lack of associated keywords.
I assume that these "copied" files are suppose to retain their keyword/tag info. Any ideas why they aren't and/or what I can do about it? I tried rebuilding the database too but that didn't do any good. I'm figuring on trying to reimport everything again, but I fear I'll get the same result.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. First try the simple fix: delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder. Launch iPhoto and see if the keywords show up. If not, then launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library. Select the first three options.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier versions) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. There are versions that are compatible with iPhoto 5, 6, 7 and 8 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
NOTE: The new rebuild option in iPhoto 09 (v. 8.0.2), Rebuild the iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup" makes this tip obsolete.

You don't say which operating system you are using so I'll assume Windows 7 for now - try this.
1) select the file that you want to open
2) right click on it and go to the Open With option but select Choose default program at the bottom of the list - the following should open
3) At the bottom of the list, there is Other Programs, you may need to scroll down. If PSE not in the list, continue with the following.
4) Use the Browse button to browse to the following (omit x86 if on 32bit system)
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe"
I'm assuming that you want to open the image in the editor.
5) Uncheck the Always use... option, otherwise double clicking on the file would cause the editor to open by default.
6) Click on OK
PSE should now appear on your open with list.

You'll need an application that edits the pics to do this: Acorn, Seashore, Photoshop Elements, Graphic Coverter are some, but there are many others - search on MacUpdate
Of course, iPhoto will do this too.

I have a database table as :

I created my Bussines Components, I have a search page, I drag and drop this DataControl as af:table, called : YES_NO_DATE_TESTView1, to a jspx page ( search page ), I enabled sorting and filtering properties in the af:table .

I preview it in my local broswer, the first page I want the
preview shows uo OK. When I click to link to a new page in my root
folder, the new page shows up, but not formatted with the template.
Why and how can I fix this?
