Not able to update multiple values in a managed metadata column.
Hi ,
I have an issue, where my user wants to add multiple values in managed metadata column. I tried to check out "allow multiple values option in list column settings, But it is throwing an error "Cannot
change this column to allow multiple values because it is currently being indexed."
Could someone please help me , how to enable add multiple values option to the managed metadata list column.

it works fine.But when i do it for multi select metadata column in debug mode i could see its giving null value even though Library had column value.
Any pointers on how to update Multiselect metadata column programatically on itemeadding event in library to a list will
be helpful.You need to use the TaxonomyFieldValueCollection class. The following code is from SP2010 but should still apply in SP2013. It is an example of updating multivalued taxonomy fields.

Can you debug the standard transaction and make a note of how exactly the fields and the structures are getting filled? This will really reduce the tiring effort of a long debugging.
I feel that the IT_INPUT_FIELD Table requires some more input. I'm not aware of the scenarios as I can see that you are trying to update some custom fields.

I have a SharePoint designer workflow that I am trying to use to copy the value of a managed metadata field, into a text field. So basically my workflow is this...
Stage 1: Set [MyColumnValue] to [%Current Item:MyColumn_0%]
Go to End of Workflow
This seems like a simple enough task, but each time an item is added or updated in my List, all I get for my new column [MyColumnValue] is just a link that says "Stage 1". Am I missing something here? Shouldn't this workflow be able to just copy
the value from the managed metadata column to the text column?When you create a workflow on a list/library it automatically creates a new FIELD with the name of workflow and it's status. It sounds like you're viewing the Workflow status field, and not the field that the workflow is putting the values into. Make sense?
So edit the view and add the new field in. -
Not able to update PO in SRM 7.0

I am not able to update PO using BBP_PD_PO_UPDATE.
The way I am using all FM's in my program is as below
1. BBP_PD_PO_GETDETAIL
2. BBP_PD_PO_UPDATE - Importing parameter lv_changed returning value X but not saving the data
3 BBP_PD_PO_SAVE - Paasing GUID as GUID returned in UPDATE FM
4. COMMIT WORK AND WAIT.

Arun.Always check the ET_MESSAGES when calling the update. If there are "A" type of messages, it's not going to update. If there are "E" type of messages, depending on your "SAVE" or "HOLD" flag, it might not update either.

Not able to update the project using 'BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN'.
I want to create a project , with reference to an already existing project.
I am using 'BAPI_PROJECT_GETINFO' to get the data of the existing project.
The bapi gives the following:
1) e_project_definition.
2) e_wbs_element_table.
3) e_wbs_hierarchie_table
I am passing the u2018e_project_definitionu2019 to 'BAPI_PROJECTDEF_CREATE' to create project.The project is created successfully.
But I am not able to update the project with u2018e_wbs_element_tableu2019
and u2018e_wbs_hierarchie_tableu2019. I am using 'BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN' to update the project.
The program is not giving an error, but it is also not updating the E_WBS_ELEMENT_TABLE and E_WBS_HIERARCHIE_TABLE.

But i see one issue with your coding, always check the return table message type and use commit work, instead of sy-subrc check. This fails for BAPI's -
Sales Order form error "Not able to retrieve Display values for Service"
Hi,
Few of our orders flash the below error message when the order is queried
"Not able to retrieve Display values for Service"
Below are the points I observed
1.The orders I am referring to are imported order via EDI interface.
2.The service reference type code has value of ORDER, however no other service related fields (like service reference line id) have any values.
3. The item is not a service item (service tab in Item setup is disabled)
4. Same item when imported with value of "Customer Ordered" in "service reference type code" field, does not throw an error.
5. If I update "service reference type code" with value null or change it to CUSTOMER_PRODUCT, the error disappears.
Can someone explain the significance of this column value and what could have been causing this error message?
May be there are some dependent fields/setups which must have a value when service reference type code =ORDER.

Maintain the dafault values using Tcode OISF with respective to Planning Plant you have to maintain the following values like Order Type, Main Work Center, Maint. Plant,Group,Group Counter,Business Area & Task List type.

I don't think bulk update for password is supported in R1(same in R2). Find below statement in oracle doc
Support Bulk Update: Determines if the field can be modified as part of a bulk modification of multiple users. Fields that are expected to be unique to users, such as username, name fields, and password, do not support bulk update. For fields with System Controled=Yes or Unique=Yes, this property can never be set to Yes. Apple is having server problems affecting App Store, iTunes, iCloud, etc…
Check the Apple Service Status(***) page… http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ Wait for all systems to show green.
Here is what Apple's message says…
Multiple Store Services - All users are affected
Customers may be unable to make purchases from the App Store, iTunes Store,
iBooks Store, or Mac App Store.
iCloud Mail - All users were affected
Users may have been unable to access iCloud mail.
iCloud Account & Sign In - All users were affected
Users may have been unable to sign in.
This means no downloads, updates, iCloud and other issues. You may get pop-up windows asking you for password for iCloud, etc…

Not able to generate multiple lines for headers in report

I am new to BI publisher and not able to generate multiple lines for headers. Please help me to resolve.
I am using RTF template, data source as PS Query and XML file (system generated from the data source)
When I am using system generated 'First XML' file, I am getting output in the follwoing format.

I have an ipad2 that has ios4.3.5 that I'm trying to update to iOS 6. I'm not able to update because of unidentifiable apps. I'm assuming that these are apps I tried to get but couldn't open because I needed iOS 5 or higher. These apps are still in my app store always needing updates, but I can't open or update because I don't have iOS 5. I can't delete them either because they can't be opened or aren't on my screen to hold/let wiggle/X. I need to remove these apps, but can't figure out how. Please someone tell me how
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).
Tip 2 - If you are updating using wifi, locate your iPad close to your router so you don't get a wifi dropout (can cause update corruption).

I have the iPhone 5s. I synced it with my Mac and got all the old apps from my old phone. I was not able to update any of the apps on the old phone and they will not update on the new iPhone 5s either! What can I do?

It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

How do i delete an old iCloud account from phone when I forget my password and I'm not able to reset it because my security questions do not match?! Help!! Currently not able to update any apps or icloud info...
If your device is signed into an old ID of yours that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).
