Not convert pagetitles to Heading 1 in Print Document

I am still very new to Adobe RoboHelp 7. I converted my
webhelp to Word.
In all my topics, I start a page with h1, h2, or h3 headings.
I do not need to export the page titles to the print document. How
can I prevent this needless conversion?

The problem I had with "duplicate" headings arose because I
am learning RoboHelp 7 by trial and error. I noticed that when I
promoted a topic to the so-called book level, I could no longer
open the topic in the editor from TOC. So I inserted another copy
of the topic in the TOC just below the book. Therefore, I got extra
headings when I exported the webhelp to MS Word. I am eliminating
this problem now on my own.
I notice that the page titles occur in the header part of the
HTML topics, not in the body part. Therefore, when a page is
produced in webhelp, only the text beginning with the first heading
appears. So I have a non-problem.
Sorry to bother you. Have a restful weekend.
By the way, when I opened your webpage, I did not see where I
could leave email.

  • Server 2012 Event 307 - Printed Document Name

I created a printer monitoring system that pulls events from the event logs of a server and then compiles this information into reports.  I can tell how many pages printed per printer for a period of time, I can tell what users are my highest printers
and once in awhile for some reason I would actually review what was printed.
I use this data to determine when another printer is needed or not needed.  I used the printed document name to justify not replacing a $5000 color laser printer. because they printed personal stuff more than business.
This process worked great until I installed Windows Server 2012, and I have tested this on Windows 8 and have the same result. (I only care about the server though.  ;) )
    In the event log: Microsoft-Windows-PrintService/Operational
In server 2003, event 10: Had printed document name
Server 2008 and Server 2008 R2: Had printed document name.
Why is this no longer there, or was this an oversight?
I asked this at TechEd and there was not a Microsoft person there who could answer my question and they referred me to the forums.  Can someone tell me what I can do to turn this on, was this an oversight, bug, etc.

    Hi,
What are the models of your printers?
I would like to confirm that have you update the printer drivers from the printer manufacturer for Windows Server 2012?
In addition, if you have Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2012 in the same envirment? If so, you may try to get the event information from the previous operating system.

  • Generating Printed Documents

Hello, I have 2 questions about generating printed doc:
1 - when I generate a .doc file the total of pages in the
screen is not the same as in the printed document . I have only the
odd pages printed. The even ones are not even shown on the screen
but they are counted in the total of pages.
2 - when trying to do a .pdf file the result is a .doc and in
the screen I can see the even pages (in blank).
I don't see anything wrong in my selections when generating
the printed documents but something is not working.
Thanks for any hint you can give me.
    Beatriz.

The PDF issue I've come across myself occasionally (not all
the time) when I use the RoboPDF to generate PDF output from the
Word document. If you save the PDF file and then re-open it from
explorer, the content is actually there (as long as there was
    content in the Word document).
With the page numbering, it sounds like section breaks have
been inserted and each section is being told to start on an odd
page. Just a couple of questions:
Do each of your topics start on a new page?
Also, do any of the topics extend over more than one page?
Lastly, have you added any topics in the Section Layout
screen of the Printed Documentation wizard?

  • Web Analysis report is not coming with the border/logo/heading while print

    Hi All,
I am using 9.3.1 version of hyperion planning were Web Analysis report is not coming with the border/logo/heading while printing with the option "print all object", Only the data grid is coming in the print. If I use "print screen" it is coming with border/logo/heading but it gives a screenshot of the report, that won't cater out need.
So please suggest us with a resolution to have border, logo and heading, while using Print all object.
    Thanks with regards....

    Hi Sagar,
In scripts when you will see print preview the logo will be not shown up with clarity.Take the print out of the document and check whether logo is printing up with clarity.

  • I want to create a document/spreadsheet (whichever) that I can send to agencies to type in information for work projects. Any ideas? I have an Excel file but it does not convert over very well and I am having trouble making changes to it.

Need to create a new spreadsheet or be able to edit the one I have.
I use this spreadsheet as a work order form for social service agencies. They enter name address etc., and then there are various work projects that they can select as well.
The one I have from the organization I work with is an excel file but it does not convert over very well. Instead of being 7 pages it is more like 11 or so because things run off the page.  I am trying to delete certain things and move them over but not working out very well so thought it might be easier to start over fresh.
Is numbers the program to use? If so, any useful tips?

If the form is going to be used on an iPad, Numbers is the only game in town.
Numbers is available for Macs only (and iOS devices). Excel is available for PCs and Macs. If you are in a mixed environment of Windows PCs and Macs and you are using this document as an electronic form, Excel is probably the better choice. Otherwise you will need to export to Excel for the PC users then import from Excel to retrieve their data. The import/export process is not perfect. A file that has been exported then reimported will not be the same as the original file. I would assume social services agencies are almost entirely PC-based.
If the form is to be printed or turned into a PDF for distribution and use by the social services agencies, either Excel or Numbers would do the job but right now Excel might be the better choice. I would have recommended Numbers '09 but I cannot recommend Numbers 3 for anything thsat requires printing until they give us the layout and printing functionality we used to have (editing in Print View, ability to set margins, etc).
If everything else in your department/operation/agency is Windows PC and Microsoft Office based, you would be better off sticking with the standard.
    I hope that helps.

  • Archiving print document and the FICA document is not closed yet

    Hi SAP,
I Am testing the archiving object ISU_PRDOCL and ISU_PRDOCH and I could archive a print document for which the FICA document is not sold (still Open Item). is it a bug or the standard is made like this or do we have to implement an OSS note for this isue.
    Thanks;
    Best regards
    Raissi Hanane

    Hello,
Yes, print document will be archived even though corresponding FICA document is still open or outstanding.
To-over come this problem you can enhance your Print document header and line item archive program to exclude archiving of print document header and line item with corresponding open FICA document.
SAP has provided enhancement for Print document Archive program :
    Print document headers (ETOAR001)
    Print document line items (ETOAR002)
Hope this will resolve your issue.
    -Thanks,
    Ajay

  • How can I change the printing setting from head to toe to head to head, to print a pdf document

Hi everyone, I'm printing a booklet from a pdf document. I have used the two-sided option but it reverses the position of the second page.
How can I set it up  head to print what you will call in a pc enviroment: head to head?
    Thanks,

    Terence,
perhaps Dukeasooke is using mixed language settings like me.
I found that changing "Measurements Units" did not suffice, if the region is still set to Germany. I had to actually set the region in the Language & Text preferences to a country that uses "US" units in addition to ensuring that the "US" units were selected. Also, with Mavericks it is essential  to restart the system before launching iPhoto again after changing "Language & Text" preferences, or they may not take.

  • Billing document not relevant at delivery header level

    Hi,
In one of regular scenario i got the Billing document not relevant at delivery header level in processing tab.
can plz advice me that what's the cause for this ?
I am using item category tan at both sales order and delivery level.
    Thanks
    Bhushan

    Hi Bhusan,
    Go to: VOV7
Select Item Cat. as "TAN" and Double Click.
In Tab: Business Data, Check the entry for Field: Billing Relevance.
Entry must be "A - Delivery-related billing document"
    Another check:
    Go to: VTFL
    Select Delivery-Billing Combination.
Go to Item (left-hand tree structure).
    Select Item cat. as "TAN".
Here, in Field: Copying requirement, Check entry as "004 - Deliv-related item"
Hope this may resolve the issue.
    Best Regards,

  • I just installed the free trial Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and it is not allowing me to freely convert a pdf to a word document????!!!!

I just installed the free trial Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and it is not allowing me to freely convert a pdf to a word document????!!!! Why is this? Does anyone have this problem?

When you report a problem you should always try to include as much relevant information as possible. Saying "it doesn't work, help me!" is not very helpful to us, because there could be a million reasons for it not working... What exactly happens when you try to convert a PDF to Word? Are there any error messages? How exactly are you trying to do it? Also, what operating system do you use? What version of Word? What exactly version of Acrobat? etc.

  • Why can I not Convert a Microsoft Office Document to a PDF using the Context Menu?

Why can I not Convert a Microsoft Office 2013 Document to a PDF using the options found in the Context Menu? (Ex: Convert to PDF, Combine Supported Files into PDF?)
I updated to Acrobat XI PRO recently, but now i'm unable to combine or convert microsoft word docs to PDF.
In Adobe Acrobat X I had this feature below, and it would combine Microsoft Office Documents all into a single PDF. Now I no longer have this issue in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. It seems like it was program named Adobe Elements that was running the conversion.

Ajlan. That page is showing as not available. Would the fix apply to Adobe Acrobat X and XI?

  • I have payed for Adobe acrobat pro but now i can not convert a pdf document to a word format, why?

I have payed for Adobe acrobat pro for one year and it is valid to november 2015, but now i can not convert a pdf document to a word format, why ?

    Hi m_karhulinna,
If you have Acrobat Pro, you can save directly to Word format from within Acrobat by choosing File > Save as Other > Microsoft Word > Word Document.
(It sounds like you may be trying to use the ExportPDF online service, which is separate from Acrobat, and not necessary in your case.)

  • Printed Document function not working

I have a user who is trying to use the Printed Document
function of RoboHelp to convert html files into one continuous
document, put together in a book form, complete with a table of
contents. The process errors out giving her error messages like
--> "Warning: The Word Document became corrupt when attempting
to append a malformed topic: (then it lists an htm file here)". Can
anyone tell me what could be causing this error or if something
might be missing from the installation?
    Thank you!

    Welcome to the forum
You'll like this. A number of possibilities.
See Printed Documentation Issues on my site for one
    possibility.
The other is quite simply insufficient RAM. Yeah I know what
RH says on the box but Word has its own requirements. I have a
layout that gives this error on a 2gb ram machine but works quite
    happily on 3gb.
A way of checking that it is RAM is to create two copies of
the print layout. Leave one alone. In number two trash half the
topics. In three trash the other half. If two and three then
generate OK, there is clearly no problem topic so by my
calculations it has to be RAM.
