Not reporting after deploying

My seq is working fine on my development computer, both via the development editor and the simple/full-featured userintyerface.
I have setup reporting in ATML, Access DB and offline report format.
Reports are located on a server inhouse.
When i deploy my system, and install in on my production machine, and run it via the Simple or Full-featured UI, it says "no result from main seq", and none of the 3 reports are being updated !
I store files via my teststequence, on the same server, during the test, and those files are updated. I.E. the test-station see the server and folder ok
any ideas ?

The station options settings are stored in the testexec.ini file. Search directories is another example of what is stored here. You can find that file and other configuration files in the <TestStand Application Data>\Cfg directory.

AM is not retained after deployed the custom pages

Hi,
I have two custom pages, Create(page1) and Select Jobs(page2) pages.
In Create page I've a button called Populate Jobs, Once I click the populate jobs button it will navigate to another page. In page2 I'll select list of jobs using multiple selection.
Once multiple jobs selected I'm validating those jobs(lines) already added to the page1 when click submit button (available in page2).
Both pages have same AM and I'm retaining AM when I move from page1 to page2. In page 2 if click submit button I try to get all the existing lines which is arendered in page 1.
But i'm getting zero count but records are there. It is working very fine in my machine before deployment. But the AM is not retained after deployed to apps.

Hi.
Try adding some debugging statements using write diagnostics .
Check to see if VO is getting cleared on loading 2nd page.
Alternate solution would be to add these line id's of the selected lines before forwading.
On 2nd page, get these Id's and do whatever necessary.

Images are not shown after deploying in apps

After deploying my application in apps i have put all my images in media folder even then the images are not displaying, can any tell me what is the reason for this, but when i have deployed before it was working fine...

when the page is displayed without the image, right click on the image place holder and click on properties. Under General tab,
address will show you the place/url page is looking for the image. Make sure you have put the image on that path and the name of image mathes the case as well.

Adobe Javascript buttons does not work after deploying by ADS

Hi,
I have a dynamic PDF with adobe javascript " addInstance (1) ". In the preview of Adobe Lifecycle the PDF works like it should. However when I deploy the PDF in Developer studio the button is working anymore. It looks like the PDF isnt dynamic after deployment.
I have tried to add the following code , but it isnt working:
IWDInteractiveForm iForm1 = (IWDInteractiveForm)view.getElement("InteractiveForm1");
iForm1.setDynamicPDF(true);
Also, the properties of the PDF is set to Interactief Form, and XDP preview format is Dynamic PDF.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

W2012 R2 Server not reporting update deployment status

Hello,
I have a strange issue with some of my Windows 2012 R2 Servers. I am using Automatic Deployment Rules for deploying Windows Updates to my client.
On my deployment, I have ~30 W2012R2 clients. I don't know why, but 50% of my clients are not reporting correctly to SCCM. When I go to the "Monitoring" -> "Deployments" and I analyze the report, my 50% faulty client are under the
"Unknow" tabs.
I have already check, and it's not a FW issue. I have other ADR and clients are reporting correctly.
This issue only appears with 2012 R2 client.

I have checked the log, and I didn't see anything strange.
In the C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log, I have see this :
The first line is "OpenReportingWebServiceConnection, reporting URL = http://MYSCCMSERVER:8530/ReportingWebService/ReportingWebService.asmx"
Why I can see in the log FQDN of microsoft ? Is this normal ?

So I upgrade our internal reports server to Enterprise XI, and adjusted out .Net web application to make. However, I still get the error listed above. We have a report application server running and can not find any document online about this problem. Any ideas?

Hi Fade,
Ah, the SDK for CR for VS is not what you want. What you need to do is log into Service Market Place and go to the appropriate download section. The SDK is NOT installed as in previous versions with Crystal Reports Designer, it's a separate download now.
I assume you are also using CRSE 2013 then so you get the SDK from SMP:
Then in the list you'll see .NET installer for SP 1 or SP 2, you must use the same patch level as the Server:
If you don't see this option then please contact your account manager to give you access to SMP and the download section.
If you are not set up you will not be able to see the above.

Scheduled scaling not applying after deployment update

We are running some cloud services with worker roles that scale out at scheduled times (during the day). This works fine with no problem. However when I update the deployment (I push a new package to staging, then do a swap and this is done at night) the
deployment fails to scale the next day. I need to manually log into the portal and increase the instance count to force azure to scale out. After that is fine until I do another deployment. Can anyone shed any light on this.

I believe you are correct in that the autoscale is removed after an updated deployment which is the behavior I have been experiencing.
I know it has been a while but I think this should either be reported as a bug or the user experience fixed.
My reasoning for this is:
When I deploy to staging and swap the instance to production the expected behavior would be for my production scaling settings to be applied to it. When I view the scale settings and look at the summary the autoscale is marked as "On". However
in reality this is not the case. In order to reapply the autoscaling I need to up (or down) my instance count and then once that it applied set it back to the original instance count I requested. After this the auto scaling works again.
This does not seem very intuitive to me.
Also when doing frequent deployments it is easy to overlook reapplying the scaling which can have a negative experience on services when this is missed.
Thoughts or is there a better way to reapply the scaling?

Unable to view report after deployment

I recently deployed my cr XI Release 2 Reporting application on Windows2000 server. the application is developed in vs.net 2003.
The report works fine on my local m/c.
The dlls used as a reference in my solution explorer are of 11.5 version.
Also they are pointing to my bin directory.
But i get the following error when i try to see any of the report.

Either the Crystal Reports registry key permissions are insufficient or the Crystal Reports runtime is not installed correctly. Now, the servlet can be accessed, but what about the *.class file in package? In my assignment, I wrote many classes for use in my servlet (eg. DeliveryOrder.java, which is a class to contain delivery order details, and to be used when inserting record into database), but it seems that the servlets cannot find them.
For example, I put a line in one of my JSP:
<%@ page language="Java" import="java.sql.*, EDESystemPackage.MySQLConnection" %>EDESystemPackage is the package name, and MySQLConnection is a class responsible to create the connection from JSP to MySQL database. When I try to visit the JSP, a NullPointerException will be raised. I wonder if I have correctly import the class?

Get "404 Not Found" after deployment. How to find out correct URL?

To the experienced:
In preparing to deploy my application, I am using JDeveloper 10.1.3.4 to deploy the application to the standalone oc4j server that is included in JDeveloper. After the deployment, I get the "404 Not Found" error when trying to invoke the application in a browser. The deployment looks OK, becasue the log window in JDeveloper showed no error when running deployment from inside JDeveloper. Therefore I guess the question is how to find out the correct URL to invoke the application. The steps I took in doing the deployment are as follows.
I first installed the standalone oc4j by running the <jdev_home>\jdev\bin\start_oc4j .bat file. The installation is OK because I deployed the SRTutorial applcation and invoked it in a browser successfully.
The WAR file was created by right-clicking the ViewController project and select to create a WAR file. To the application's Context Root its own name, I typed "ZB" in the box for the context root.
Then in ViewController -> Resources, right_click the deployment file (ZBOV.deploy) and chose "Deploy to" the local_standalone_oc4j. The messages in JDeveloper's log window for the deployment are all clean without errors.
I then used this url to invoke the deployed application in a browser:
http://localhost:8888/ZB/faces/staff/login.jspx
But I got an "404 Not Found" error. Right away I tried invoking the SRTutorial application, and it runs fine.
login.jspx is one of the pages for the appllication. In the application navigator, it is located with other files in the ViewController/Web Content/staff folder, therefore I used /staff/login.jspx after ZB/faces.
What could be wrong? If the deployment is actually successful, how to find out the correct url to invoke the application?

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it but got the same error.
I tried it by first undeploying the application using the enterprise manager page (which is also part of the oc4j included in JDeveloper). I select the application and clicked the undeploy link, confirmed that I wanted to remove it. And it was removed.
Then in JDeveloper, I right-clicked the ViewController, and in the properties of the probject selected "J2EE Application" and then selected "Use Custom Settings", then in the "J2EE Web Context Root" box I entered "ZB". Created the deployment profile again, overwriting the existing one, and then right-clicked the ZB.deploy node to deploy to the standalone oc4j on the localhost. And I used the url:
http://localhost:8888/ZB/faces/staff/login.jspx
And I got the same "404 Not Found" error.
There was no error at the time of deployment using the ZB.deploy profile. On the enterprise manager page, the path of the deployed application is given as /C:/jdev10134/j2ee/home/applications/ZB.ear, and the folder of the deployed application is there. Question is: if the deployment is actually OK, can the correct URL be found in some file somewhere in the folder?
All ideas and suggestions are very much appreciated!

You have probably encountered Bug 5244228 where the GL_SECURITY_PKG checks only for Discoverer 4i version. There is a Apps GL patch for this problem (Patch 3693532).
You should also check note 414464.1 and set the FI: GL BIS Discoverer access system profile to Yes for your responsibilities. This may also resolve the issue.

Application not working after deployment in remote server

I have a standard web application working in my localhost. But when I deploy the same in a remote server it gives the following exception. This happens for all the jsp:useBean. why is the container not able to fund the Beans. The Tomcat is installed properly and I use it's manager tool to deploy the WAR.

Your error stack refers to a class with the package sequence "com.news.pubt.weather....." but your jsp file refers to a class "com.news.pub.weather...
Is there an error in your jsp page? If so, did you change the package name, and do you still have old class files on the classpath on your local machine with the old name?
Anyway, the top of the error stack refers to line number 68 in the Container class. So that is where you should see a problem regarding the NullPointerExcpetion. You could post that line of code.

Web UI does not work after deployment of BBPCRM SP for CRM 7

I just applied SP 2 for BBPCRM in our CRM 7 system and after that our web ui does not start correctly.
We can log in and choose a business role, but the we get the following error in the browser

I found that the SAP/webcuif services was disabled, if it was the SP that caused it or not, I don't know, but when I enabled it everything started to work!

CMC does not work after deploying to Websphere

Description of Problem or Question:
We have an installation of BO XI R2 SP2 on Tomcat (default installation).
Now we installed Websphere Application Server 6.0 on the same server and deployed BO war files on it.
The existing installation of Infoview & CMC on Tomcat works as it did before.
But, CMC that runs on Websphere does not work.

JDeveloper 10.1.3.3 ADF Swing - Images not rendering after deployment

Hi,
I have deployed my ADF Swing application in production in very simple 2 tiers architecture.
One executal jar on my desktop and
The database running on a Linux server.
When I run MyApp.jar from my desktop, none of my images is rendered and LOV buttons do NOT work.
The same application runs against the same dabase from Jedev environment shows images and LOVs work fine.

I suppose that you use Java WebStart to deploy your application.
The issue might be that you're using absolute path to load images into the application (c:\something\something.jpg). When you start your app in webstart, it doesn't allow the application the acces to the disk using absolute path. Even if it did, you wouldn't find your images in the same folder as they are on your disk.
You should load images like this:
ImageIcon icon=new ImageIcon(this.getClass().getResource("images/something.jpg"));
This presumes that you store all your images in "images" package (folder).

PHP scripts are not working after deploying it on website

Hi,
I have recently deployed my flex application on a web hosting (000webhost.com) and now my application is getting launched properly. Visit (www.kpratik.webatu.com).
I have used PHP script to interact with database MySQL. Locally everything was working fine but when I have deployed it to internet my PHP scripts are not working and any database opeartion is not getting performed. I have already chaned to host, username password in the PHP file as given my service provider.
Please let me know if you have any input on this.

Ok let me explain you where exactly it is going wrong.
I am constructing SQL query in my ActionScript code and I am passing this query to my PHP script using HTTPService. Now when I am hardcoing the query in PHP script i found it is working perfectly which means my query is not getting passed to PHP script.
Please let me know what could be the reason.
I am using POST method for HTTPService.
