Not working in collection: "is not" & "Digital Negative/Lossy compressed"

Hello guys,
I have a smart collection in LR4. The collection contains 200 pictures. I want to search inside the collection for all files which are NOT Lossy compressed (like raw, jpeg, dng lossless compressed etc). If I put as a rule the "is not" "Digital Negative/Lossy compressed" I will get all the files in the catalog. If I put as a rule the "is" "Digital Negative/Lossless" the result will be DNG/Lossless. The 1st rule seems not to be working. The same is for Fast load data, which seems for some files to be working and for some not. Anyone can explain it, or it is a bug?
Boris

Hi Carl,
Based on my tests, only users allowed to use specific applications are able to see those application on the Web Access page.
In my case, I published three remote application, and I only allowed Administrator to access one of them as below:
After that, I logged on as administrator to RD Web Access, only one application was showing:
I suggest you double check the user assignment on the application, make sure no other group is configured, then log off the user and log on to access RD Web Access again.
Best Regards,
Amy

Brand new user to Lightroom 5.  Was following tutorials and doing fine editing.  After done editing NEF files, I'm trying to open them in PSE 11 to further edit.  Using the "Edit Photo with Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor".  But the window only has the first option available and the other two grayed out.  Each of those has "...is not applicable to raw or Digital Negative files."  What??

sorry, no can do...ain't gonna happen.
What you've done is hit the wall on is the basic difference between lite duty spot healing and photo level tone and color correction (Lightroom and Camera Raw) and heavy duty pixel retouching in Photoshop.
When you need to substantially manipulate the "pixels" you need Photoshop and you'll be forced to render the raw file into a TIFF or PSD file either through Camera Raw or more better, via Lightroom.
You can do the basic tone and color correction directly in Lightroom and edit in Photoshop from Lightroom. But you will NEED to create and save out a "rendered" image that is no longer raw...then retouch to your heart's desire, save it and it'll be available in Lightroom along side your original raw if you choose.
But no, there's no way to open a raw in Photoshop, manipulate the heck out of it with massive retouching then save that back out as a raw file...ain't gonna happen.

  • XB270H DRIVER in Windows 8.1 Pro 64Bit Not Digitally assigned Will Not Load

The drivers available that ACER have released are not being recognised by my system because the closest driver Windows 8 64Bit is not Digitally Assigned. So the Windows 8.1 Pro 64Bit sees the monitor as a GenericPnP only and so far have had no response to when a driver that is digitally assigned by microsoft will be made available by ACER. Anyone else found similar issues with this model and driver. As we all know windows 8 is automatically updated to 8.1 and is mandatory and i would of assumed the driver would be recognised. I know i can run in test mode for the driver to work but then that means i must remain in test mode otherwise driver is removed by windows and goes back to the GenericPnP driver.

Having an unsigned driver is unacceptable! Philips and Asus have their drivers digitally signed! So does BenQ! It is so easy to digitally sign a driver!
The work around is to always boot up in Windows to ignore digitally unsigned drivers?
The driver is also not loading on Windows 7 either. Unless you manually tell Windows to use the unsigned driver!
Next time I buy a monitor, I am going to visit the website and see if the drivers for the monitor are digitally signed!
Acer you definitely droppe the ball on this one! Oh and by the way, none of the drivers are digitally signed for the other Acewr g-sync monitors as well!

  • Error message "not digitally signed or not signed in the appropriate manner

My computer keeps crashing and I discovered that it is not recognizing a hardware device.  The device is the printer.  When I check further, it asks for driver updates and when I try to do that, I get an error message "not digitally signed or not signed in the appropriate manner.
I have no idea how to fix this since I am the administrator and I have an HP laptop too.  Any help is great.
    Thanks,
    Sonja

Welcome to the community, Sonja! Aka @sonipsl
I have personally ran into the error message you are receiving before that states "not digitally signed or not signed in the appropriate manner", and I had posted a solution to it as well. I would like for you to see the steps that had fixed the problem in my first link below. You will notice that you will have to download the correct drivers for your printer, the Photosmart B210a model, and that link is also below.

  • Not printing negative sign on left side

    hi all,
i am trying to display negative sign to left side but it is displaying in smartforms
    i edit  w_test-t1(c) like this .. w_test-t1(>)
but it is not displaying negative sign to left side.

    Hi,
Actually &fld(<)& should work if you want leading sign to be on the left, if you are not getting the desired results, may b we have to put it manually by concatenating.
    Regards,
    Narendra.

  • A driver was not digitally signed after software and driver installation on Windows 7

error, deivice status not working properly for my H  Officejet Pro 8500 a909a printer .  In Device Manager I noticed a driver was not digitally signed which i beleive is causing my Internet Explorer to not work properly.
Is this a driver I need to correct or get signed?  How do I correct this problem?

Thank you for the reply, and potential fixes. I have combed the MS site already. The workarounds may provide some return functionality, but this type issue between two companies as HP and MS seems peculiar, and I am holding out for a permanent bonafide solution.
For example, the "F8 override disabling all digital signatures" plus installing yet another program to continue with every reboot is just not a viable solution to me.

  • Credit notes wit negative lines

    hi,
actually its not possible to add a credit note with negative lines. Its not possible in 2005A and not possible in 2007A.
    We need this functionality.
For example there are invoices with positions like that
    item              200 Euro
    - special bonus  20 Euro (has to be added in line because this has to be booked on a special account)
The invoice is fine. But when the invoice sould we canceled by credit note there is no way to do this by credit note!
Another example is if the customer returns some items, the special bonus has to be returned too.
We need this functionality very urgent. Is there a way to get this feature????
    thanks
    Markus

    Hello,
We are aware of this problem and we plan to solve this in the future so the user can create the credit note automatically from the invoice.

  • Document collaboration:  attach a written (not digital) signature

Hello, hoping the community can give me some pointers to automate a process.
I am currently part of a business process that requires me to receive a document, affix my written (not digital) signature to it along with a date, and pass it on to the next person.  My current workflow is to receive the .pdf, print it, sign it with a pen, re-scan it into a .pdf, and send it on to the next person.  I recognize this is a waste not only of time but also of paper and ink, as well.
I have a Wacom digital tablet that allows me to make pen inputs, like a signature.  How can I use Adobe Acrobat to sign the document in Acrobat using my digital tablet and pen, skipping the requirement to print it, sign it with an ink pen, and re-scan it?  I suspect it may have something to do with layers in Acrobat, but I'm an Acrobat newbie so I'm not too smart on it.
Thanks for your time and help!

There are a number of options. A common thing to do is create a custom stamp, so you can easily apply it whenever needed. For example: http://blogs.adobe.com/acrolaw/2007/02/creating_a_tran_1/
You can also use the Pencil commenting tool. This is what is used when (in Acrobat 9) you select: Advanced > Sign & Certify > Apply Ink Signature
It is a good idea to then flatten the signature so other users can't easily modify it. For this you can use this handy JavaScript-based utility that lets you selectively flatten annotations: http://www.uvsar.com/projects/acrobat/flattener/

  • DEBIT NOTE PRINTING NEGATIVE SIGN DISAPPEAR

    Dear Experts,
Hi! Can any expert help on this. We have one negative transaction of Debit Note posting for "-26,000". But unfortunately, currently when we print Debit Note with negative posting, the amount in item 1 should be "-26,000" but the "-" sign disappeared. The final total showed correctly as "-26,000". • Scorecard alerts not handling negative vaules?

I have numbers that vary between -12 and 35...
    I have a scorecard, and I want the following representation;
negative numbers to be reflected green arrow pointing upward
    zero = no icon
positive numbers to be relfected as red arrow pointing downward
Alert Values set as a range by value.
    I have set my alert threasholds as;
                                     From                            To
    1  Green Arrow -       Minimum                    -1
    2. No Icon          -       -1                              0
    3. No Icon          -       0                               1
    4. Red Arrow    -       1                              Maximum
Hiowever, checking against nmy source data,  I'm getting red arrows and no icons only,  and I should have some of each.   I have tried many different variations without getting proper results.

    Hi, Michael!
I experienced some difficulties with the Scorecard Control, too. Especially I found it not really intuitive to find and modify the relevant properties. But I think I managed to fulfill your requirements...
Cause I still do not know how to attach files here, I uploaded a screen-shot to my therefor opened posterous page: http://t2helsinki.posterous.com/scorecard-alerts-not-handling-negative-vaules
I hope the image/screen-shot says it all...

  • SoundMax Digital Driver not digitally signed and not passed logo testing

    Hi HP Community,
My sound is going in and out (skipping). The speakers are not blown out.
I have  tried in this order
uninstalling Soundmax and restarting the computer
    updating driver through control panel>system>driver
using hp.com software/driver page and installed ADI 1981B Audio driver (sp34210.exe version 5.12.1.5410 C) an error message reads, "SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Window XP" I selected continue anyway.
used Driver Recovery DVD and an error message reads, "SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Window XP" I selected continue anyway.
Through all this I noticed that it is not digitally signed
The sound still sounds bad. Is it even the driver?
What is going on and suggestions?
    OS: Window XP 32 bit
    HP Pavillion dv4155cl
    Thanks

Just to establish a good base line I am going to have you uninstall and reinstall the printer from our website rather than the CD-ROM that came with the machine.
First if you use a USB cord, make sure to remove it. Do not plug it back in until the software directs you to. Then go through the Devices and Printers, Programs and Features and Device Manager folders and insure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. Then as directed, restart the computer.
In the START menu type "%temp%" and press ENTER. Here I want you to press Ctrl+A and hit DELETE. Some of the files will not allow you to delete them, skip those files and delete the majority that allows it.
Then follow this link to download the full feature software and drivers for the printer:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5061073&
Install that using the USB >> Wireless setup wizard and establish a static IP (video below on that) :

  • Apple mobile device usb driver not digitally signed

I installed(updated) itunes 12.1.1.4 64-bit on wildows 7. Then, it can not recognize iphones and ipods any more.
I tried every means to fix this, updating windows and itunes, uninstalling and installing, rebooting and restarting.......
Finally, I find that the apple mobile device usb driver is not digitally signed.  I found this when I open the computer/manage/device manager/portable device/iphone/update driver.  Windows installed mtp usb driver for apple products and indicating the related apple driver software cannot be installed.
what's wrong with this?  should I wait until apple solve this problem?

I suggest you try the "for older video cards" version...
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
