Notification objects entry problem

Dear all,
my client needs to enter multiple functional locations and equipment to the pm notification. is it possible and in which tab? i know similar tab in order but can not find in notification...

Multiple functional Locations and Equipments in a single notification is not possible in standard SAP. Only it can be possible Z transactions.
Also there is no use of multiple selections in single notification. It will not serve u the proper requirements and tracking/Analysis.
For information purpose you can use the user entry fields / Long text to mention the different locations and equipements or you can select the higher level hierarchy in functional location.
In item tab you can select different assemblys and you can use short text field. From this you can develope a Z reports to track the multiple items in single notification. in case this is a regular business process. but not a standard best practice. Better inform user to avoid such type of process and mentor them to follow best practices in business.

With that one, I'd try uninstalling your MobileMe control panel.

FM Measurem_Docum_Dialog_List_1 for Notification Measurement Doc Problem CS

Hi SAP Experts. Thanks in advance for taking a look.
I have been trying to use FM: "Measurem_Docum_Dialog_List_1" to update measurement documents for the customer Service notification. It looks like that I am only 50% successful as I am able to read the data, but can only write data to the memory table: DOCUMENTS_INSERT, those value sthough do not actually save to the notification. I have searched for hours SAP OSS support and opened a message but thus far no response.
Here are the inputs I used - where I am able towrite the screen data and to the export table: DOCUMENTS_INSERT but the information will not save to the CS notification even though the field F11_Active = 'X'.

Ed,
You may want to execute the Bapi Commit function call if the return is successfull. I would probably use other calls like the MEASUREM_DOCUM_RFC_SINGLE_001or other ALM or MAM calls that provide the complete functionality, like the follow up action, notification creation etc rather than using this one.

Hi all,
After long fight, i'm now able to connect to my NIS server on my network. the initial context factory is 'com.sun.jndi.nis.NISCtxFactory' and provider url are given and i obtain namingennumeration of items in the NIS directory.
purpose of my project:
using ypcat command we can view the services,passwd,host... objects in unix.
my project requirement is that i shd open this 'services' object in java (using JNDI probably) and shd access its content.
i'm able to obtain the object and the type of this object is 'NISCtxServices' defined in 'com.sun.jndi.nis.NISCtxFactory' package, but all the classes and methods except some are not public and so im not able to use almost all the methods in this class 'NISCtxServices' .
Can any one help me in accessing the information inside this object.

It's because JFrame does not have a public progessbar variable, only your subclass has that.

I am facing 07 Tax Depreciation Area Journal Entry Problem.It would be of Great help if You Provide your Valuable Suggestion / Comments.
The Net Effect is Correct for the Entry but Presentation is not Right.
I am getting this entry in SAP 07 area for std cost.Assset Cost is 210.

Cr E23057           -300
I want E23057 Account also to be Credited by 210 instead of -300 & again debit to Same Account by 90.
Pls suggest Where I am missing in Configuration.

Hi,
Check your COD config.
I hope you are having 01,02, 03 and 07 as dep areas in your COD.
First set your COD with OAPL.
Use transactions OADB, and OADC.
in OADB give posting in GL as 1 for dep areas, for which you want to adopt values to GL. For other areas put 0 in posting to GL, and select real dep area for all the areas.
in OADC specify your dep area type for all the dep areas.
Now OABC and OABD.
Put proper settings for each dep area according to SPAIN country regulations.

Detail expaination of problem with DEPT and Emp table:
I have two pages first.jspx and secound.jspx
In the First page we are showing one department and All Employee blongs to that department. Employees are shown in table format.
and i have duplicate button in table--> this will create a duplication record of selected employee by calling application module
and the control moves to sencound page to show the newly created Employee details.
From secound form am returning back with some action button to previous page to the same dept , The newly created records are not showing in the table [but the database has newly crated].
How do i refresh the child view object ?

Issue: Lock table is out of available object entries

We have a method to add records into BDB, and after there are more than 10000 records, if we continue add records into BDB, such as add 400 records into BDB, then do other update/add operation to BDB, it will be failed.
The error message is Lock table is out of available object entries.
How to resolve it?

hi,
i am using db4.6.21 version.
i have created an table where other applications writes to this tables concurrently.
this table opened in DB_THREAD and every application writing in DB_WRITE_CURSOR mode. and i am note using any Locking subsystems.only READ_COMMITTED and DB_WRITE_CURSOR are used by applications to access the table.
while In PC it is working properly.
But in At91SAM9260EK with kerenl 2.6.23.9 ,

error comes...what would be the reason..???

Please search through the forum; similar locking subsystem configuration issues have already been discussed.
In short, you'll need to increase the number of lock objects:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/lock/max.html
I see you're using the DB_WRITECURSOR flag which is specific to CDS (Concurrent Data Store), so you should size the locking subsystem appropriately to CDS: the number of lock objects needed is two per open database (one for the database lock, and one for the cursor lock when the DB_CDB_ALLDB option is not specified). The locking subsystem configuration should be similar for all the processes accessing the environment, or not specified for the processes that just join the environment.
If you still see this error message reported, provide some information on your OS/platform, information on how the processes access the environment and the locking statistics (db_stat -N -Co -h <env_dir>).

One object do that:

which is waitingNote that it is not the object that is waiting, but the thread.
When calling wait on a given object (this in your case), the current thread waits until another thread calls notify(All) on this object (or until given timeout expires.)
So what threads are implied in your code ?
Are you sure that one thread calls wait, and then another thread calls notifyAll (before timeout expires) ?

Archiving Object - Entry missing in Customizing table for object Z*********

We have created a archiving object in transaction AOBJ. However when i enter this object in SARA, we get this error message.
"Entry missing in Customizing table for object Z******* "
I have matched my object with few other archiving objects and things looks similar.
Have you faced this kind of problem..

I checked and i can see entry for ZSCS_TRAFO object in AOBJ.
But when i enter ZSCS_TRAFO, i get this error :
Entry missing in Customizing table for object ZSCS_TRAFO
Message no. BA057
Diagnosis
A function cannot be executed due to a missing table entry.
Procedure
Please create an entry for the archive object ZSCS_TRAFO with the AOBJ transaction.
However, a few other Z objects works well.

Service entry problem when not accepted

We have a problem when there are multiple service entries agains a PO. There are no problems when we do the first entry and accept. The problem happens when we do a second entry and the end user only saves and forgets to accept the SES. When they do an invoice against this unaccepted SES the system brings in the previous SES number, when this goes unnoticed the vendor gets paid twice for the same thing. Is there a way for SAP to look at the SES field in the invoice and determine that this SES number has already been paid? Thanks in advance.

please try the following: check in transaction XK02 the field "Check Flag for Double Invoices or Credit Memos" (LFB1-REPRF).
Indicator which means that incoming invoices and credit memos are checked for double entries at the time of entry.
In checking for duplicate invoices, the system compares the following characteristics by default:
Vendor
Currency
Company code
Gross amount of the invoice
Reference document number
Invoice document date
If all of these characteristics are the same, the system issues a message that you can customize.
The system only checks for duplicate invoices in Materials Management if you enter the reference document number upon entering the invoice.
Of course if the invoice document date is different, there is no message M8108 issued. Please read also the notes 305201 and 308008.
I would recommend you to use the service based invoice verification function (set the field EKPO-LEBRE to X) in the PO item.

GR/IR entry problem

Hi
We have posted one invoice through MIRO in the year 2005. And in the same year payment also happened for that invoice.
But customer has raised a ticket why this invoice is showing as not cleared in FBL1N.
If i see that invoice in MIRO follow up documents area i unable to find since it is saying no finance documents available. If i verify the BSEG table and BSAK table those invoice and clearing documents not there and it is only available in BSIS.
And i tried to clear it manually through F.13 but it is throwing error BSEG entry is missing
So how can i clear the 2005 gr/ir entry which is already cleared from finance side.
is it some archive problem or something else
Waiting for expert guidance to resolve this issue

Its working fine in pre production
Is it feasible solution in Production, since we have thousands of user and thousands of clearings
If i modify OB74 setting, it may affect the businees right
And i dont have authorisations to modify the Gl account also (post automatic check box)
So without changing the settings, is there any way

While doing GR( which is stores activity) why you want to generate Notification, once GR is made the inspection lot is generated, then while doing RR if some thing is not as per specs then you can raise notification automatically.

You will be able to generate auto notification only after you do GR, while doing RR. This authorization you can given to stores but again unless you inspect the material how you will know that there is problem in material and you need to raise notification.
for auto notification while RR, you have to assign notification type Q2/ N2 at that inspection type at customizing.
Also you should tick 'Defect recording' tab in control indicator of MIC's, this will automatically pop up the Window for defect recording and thereby notification.

Accounting entry problem for cancel billing document

We have manufacturing process for SO to DC we follow the proces
Sales order -> delivery -> VF01 -> J1IIN -> VF02 release to accounting,
now when we do the above procees in billing document document flow we can see two accounting entry generated ref. to t. code VF01 and billing document number
now to reverse the above, we are following the procedure
J1IIN reverse -> VF02 cancel billing document we get new cancel billing document numbver then again in VF02 we are releasing the cancel document number,
but earlier when we do the cancelation procedure only two accounting entries were generating under the original billing document and also under the cancel billing document, but now as soon as we reverse the invoice in J1IIN under the original billing document one additional accounting entry is coming which is generated ref. to T. code J1IH document type JM , and when we cancel and release the billing document there are three accounting entery under Cancel billing document number and additional entry is created ref. to J1IH do. no. JM
so what can be the problem hiw one entry is generated by J1IH and what is eefect of this.

I have a below statement in my code
"SELECT on EKPO for all entries on ITAB (which is having 4 hundread thousand recods )"
giving dump saying "MEMORY_PGFREE_FAILED" and "Error releasing memory block in paging"
i need your suggestion to avoid the memory problem
