NUMAP Problem in PB10

hi all,
while going for recruitment action in R/3 release 4.7, I am facing an error in PB10(initial entry of applicant data), where it is showing: "NUMAP was called with incorrect parameter value PME15" and Runtime error is showing. I have checked everything from vacancy creation, advertisement done, number range assignment done, features done. In NUMAP my decision tree is showing activated and error free. So, I am in a fix as to what to do? Can anyone suggest a solution to this?? PLEASE do this ASAP, as it is very urgent.......

Then assigned value of my number range (created earlier), then checked for error: result is error free and then activated.
Pls let me know the solutions. I have done all kinds of R&D also, like adding the BUKRS in the decision tree to localize my number range.

Problem with PB10

Hi,
I have a BDC program to create applicants through Tcode PB10. Previously this program was used to upload applicants for US alone & now i want to use it to upload data for Canada also.
When i try to use this program, for the first iteration it displays the the PB10 US screen (Screen no 110) and from the second iteration it starts giving the PB10 Canada screen (Screen no 0107). This happens irrespective of the country to which i want to upload the data.
Can you please let me know how the PB10 Tcode works for different countries and where is this customization maintained in SAP.
Any pointers will be appreciated.

But in the BDC program we are just calling the PB10 transaction code and we don't specify any screen numbers there. The problem occurs here. The screen number should be basically determined by the User parameters "Molga" & "User group". But is not happening in that way.
We do specify the screen number only when we fill the values in the PB10 screen and not while calling the PB10 transaction code.

Batch Input Problem with PB10 - Updating IT22 via BDC

Hi out there,
I'm using PB10 to persist new applicants data.
Im processing after save the IT22.
In dialogmode i can just go back without putting input to it22. After going back the new applicant is saved successfully. Now it is possible to use pb30 to maintain (or new creation) of it22 for this applicant.
Now I recorded this "process" and after call transaction the system brings back an error that mandatory field p0022-endda is missing. this error exists also, if i fill the recorded map with data.
Batch Input in Background Mode ->Error
Batch Input in Dialog Mode -> IT22 Dialog appears with empty data
....Using "normal" Dialog Transaction OK!

Is it really FB01<b>L</b>? I cannot find it in my 46c system?
Anyway, you can control this message as follows. Go to SM30, enter V_T100C and 'Maintain'. Enter 'F5' for application area in the subsequent pop-up.
In the table control, see if message number 192 is already there. If it is there, then change the value under column 'BatchI' to 'I' and save. If it is not there, then enter a new record for 192.

NUMAP .... problem regarding NUMAP

when i created an organisation and when i try to make initial entry in the case of recruitment PB10 that time an error message iscominglike " Feature NUMAP was called with incorrect parameter value PME15"

i created PERSG (1 active external) my applicant group node under the country node then PERSK applicant range and assign return value of (the range number ) is it the way to do it na?
i checked for error no error is showing

PB30 / PB10 "Store busines document" as business Object "PAPL"

My problem is that i´d like to attach documents to an applicant within PB10 or PB30. To do so i want to use the "Store business document" function but this function is only applicable for business object APPLICANT. I need BO PAPL so that the document are visible in Poratal (MSS).
Has anyone an idea how to do this?

Attachments are stored in binary format.
Advantage of storing in SAP is speedy access, than compared to content server.
Disadvantage some of the table space grows exponently.
Some of the tables attachments get stored are SO*
To get the link for the folder and attachments stored in SRGBTBREL
Various type of attachments are ATTA NOTE URL MSG etc.
For custom attachment options can be enabled using class CL_GOS_MANAGER

Problems with retrieving data from tables with 240 and more records

Hi,
I've been connecting to Oracle 11g Server (not sure exact version) using Oracle 10.1.0 Client and O10 Oracle 10g driver. Everything was ok.
I installed Oracle 11.2.0 Client and I started to have problems with retrieving data from tables.
First I used the same connection string, driver and so on (O10 Oracle 10g) then I tried ORA Oracle but with no luck. The result is like this:
I'm able to connect to database. I'm able to retrieve data but from small tables (e.g. with 110 records it works perfectly using both O10 and ORA drivers). When I try to retrieve data from tables with like 240 and more records retrieval simply hangs (nothing happens at all - no error, no timeout). Application seems to hang forever.
I'm using Powerbuilder to connect to Database (either PB10.5 using O10 driver or PB12 using ORA driver). I used DBTrace, so I see that query hangs on the first FETCH.
So for the retrievals that hang I have something like:

while for retrievals that end, I have FETCH producing time, data in buffer and moving to the next Fetch until all data is retrieved
On the side note, I have no problems with retrieving data either by SQL Developer or DbVisualizer.
Problems started when I installed 11.2.0 Client. Even if I want to use 10.0.1 Client, the same problem occurs. So I guess something from 11.2.0 overrides 10.0.1 settings.

Installing 11g client changed something that even using old 10g client (which I still have installed) fails to work. The same problem occur no matter I'm using 10g or 11g client now. Powerbuilder hangs on retrieving tables with more than like 240 records.

Problem in applicant no range

Hi
I have assigned internal no range for applicants in NUMAP feature.
But in PB10-Initial data entry, SAP system does not assign a no from no. range automatically rather says no range is external, enter a personnel no.
Please help me. It's urgent.

check once again in PB04 NO for ur number range and see if it is marked external or internal and also check yet again if u have assigned correct return value in NUMAP.
Although very basic...sometimes if u forget to generate the feature in which case the changes u made may not have taken affect..

PB10 standard Tcode giving uncaught exception error

Hi,
i am facing problem while using Standard Tcode PB10.
after entering all the details the Applicant Number should be automatically generated. but when i click option save and add data it give some runtime error on uncaught_exception

Feature NUMAP - Applicant Number Range is not working

Dear Experts,
I have set number range from xx to xx with number 25 (for Applicant Number), and set the NUMAP feature as follow:
Molga:
>>25 Singapore
     >> PERSG (Applicant Group)
          >> Z Outsource Employee
               >> 25 (number range that i have set up earlier)
The problem is whenever i perform initial data entry the applicant always took other number range ( i already choose the Z as the applicant Group and personnel area that correspondence to Singapore). Do I miss something here? Thank you.

PB30 Short Profile enhancement problem

Hi Experts,
If you go to the PB30 Tcode there is a tab for applicant short profile..named just 'short profile'.When you hit that, it shows all the details of the applicant which you have entered from T code PB10 which is Initial entry of applicant master data.
On this short profile screen I need to enhance it with an additional field PERNR which is the personel number which is currently non existing.The output of this screen seems to be coming from a Script which I am not able to identify yet.When I dig into the code It leads me to SAPMSSCD mainline and there is some heavy logic for getting the output onto the screen using an OTF table.I am really not able to figure out how and where do I get this new field to populate in the OTF table with the existing logic..or do I need to modify the inbuilt coding or is there any other efficient way.

Applicant number range-NUMAP

We have configured the recruitment and the NUMAP feature is internal starting from 1.
We have performed the initial entry of basic data action, applicant number is generated with 1. but the current number showing as 5 in the number ranges
Again we have performed the same action, then the applicant number generated as 6 and the current number status showing as 10
But it should be generated sequence wise like 1, 2 3 etc why system creating in such a way

this might be occur in case there is mismatch of the fields of decision being used in feature maintenance.
check the feature and the return value , wether the return value is correct or not
goto PE03->NUMAP check the return value and check wether the return was configured in number ranges
eg: if the return value is 01 go to your config and check the number range has been set for "01"
you gave return value as "01" and the number range has not been set in configuaration for "01" this kind of error s may occur.

PB10 missing field

Hello,
We're using SAP ECC 6.0 (testing and production) but the standard transaction PB10 is not the same in these environments.
Transaction displays email field in production and this field doesn't exist in testing.
Please, do you know what could be the problem?
