Number of Copies per Page, not per Document

Hi,
In my RTF-template, a delivery-note, I've put code to copy the Order 4 times. So far so good ... if the data contains several Orders, the PDF contains 4 pages for every single Order.
This is the code: <?for-each:current-group()?><?for-each@section:xdoxslt:foreach_number($_XDOCTX,1,4,1)?>
Problem is when an Order has multiple pages: then 1 want in the PDF 4 times the first page, then 4 times the next page.
So now I have in the PDF:
page1 page2 page1 page2 page1 page2 page1 page2
But I want:
page1 page1 page1 page1 page2 page2 page2 page2
How can I accomplish this?

If you open the Pages panel, (Window>Pages) you will see thumbnails of your master pages and your document pages. In new documents, there is usually a master called A-Master and one called None. If you drag the thumbnail of the None master onto the thumbnail of a document page, it will apply that master to that page. Presumably, you have made your page numbers on A-Master, so this will usually do the trick. If you have elements on A-Master that you need on the first page, but just not the page number, you can duplicate A-Master (which, by default will give you B-Master, but you can change the names if you like) and remove the page number on the duplicate and apply that to the document page.
It might also be worth noting that you can apply master pages in the fly-out of the Pages panel. Go to the fly-out triangle and go down to Apply Master to Pages…, then select a master to apply and the range of pages (1-8 will give you all 8, 1, 3, 5, 7 will be the odds, 1-3, 4, 6-8 if you want continuous ranges and individual pages).

Printing multiple copies per page, not multiple pages per sheet

How can I print multiple copies of page per sheet of paper?
I've got an image or PDF that I'd like to print 4 or more of per sheet of paper. But it can easily fit on one sheet. When I choose to print 4 copies and in the Layout section choose 4 copies per page what I get is for pages printed out with the image scaled down to a quarter of a page.
What I'd like is the one image scaled down and printed 4 times on a single piece of paper.

I don't completely believe that this is completely
due to the drivers from the printer manufacturer.
Nor did I say that it is. The software from which the doc is being printed is
even more important re page layout options.
Your statement of "It is a function of the printer driver..." is what led to that misunderstanding.
I completely agree that the idea of 'print to PDF' is misleading and that I was mislead that all the print dialog options (like the quartz filters that do work in outputting to PDF and the # of copies that do not) should apply to creating PDF files using the print dialogue. It now says 'save to PDF' in 10.4 instead of 'output' or 'print'. I think some of my confusion is carrying over from UI decisions in 10.3.

It's stating the obvious in reply to your statement of the obvious ("the feature you are trying to use isn't designed to work that way."). If it were designed to work in the manner that I was wanting it perform I would have never posted a question about it.
You can say it's not commonly done and that would
apply to anything other than printing off one full
sized copy of any single page. Using Quartz filters
isn't "commonly done" but it's available.
Not true... mailing labels, multipage spreads, thumbnails, reductions/
enlargements, ad infinitum are far more frequently done than printing
the same content on the same sheet multiple times. As I said, however,
there are provisions for doing so when the need arises.
You missed the point. Functionality is presented that is far less utilized than what I was desiring to do on this platform/set of applications as compared to other platforms/sets of applications. This is why I specifically mentioned the quartz filtering. I have personally met only one other person who uses quartz filtering yet I know over a dozen that want to print in the manner I originally posted about.
I'm sure you have seen such results & I have done
the exact same type of output hundreds of times on
both Windows & Mac platforms as well as others...
but not in the manner you are attempting to get it
done. As you've found out, that just doesn't work.
And I've seen it performed in the manner I was attempting, furthering the frustration.
In any program you typically do specify page layout
before number of copies... in fact, that is the cruxt of the
issue. But getting the same content to repeat on a single
page is not a matter of page layout and is not a function
of the print operation unless you're dealing with commercial
devices.
I guess I've just been spoiled by those big office Xerox machines. I never thought of that functionality being at all special in any way.

Multiple photos per page not working :( Please help

I see the option for multiple photos per page. It was available 5 minutes ago but now is grayed out and I can not get it back. This is very annoying. Can someone tell me why iPhoto won't let me print multiple photos on the same sheet?

Remember that we know nothing except what you tell us - that it is not working is not much
The most common reason that print multiple photos per page is grayed out is that you either have a photo size/paper size combination that will not fit multiple photos (ie trying to print 2 8x10 photos on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper) or you have not selected but one photo
If these do not help please give us some more detail on what you are doing

Set Maximum Rows Per Page not working

I want to display 50 rows per page and I tried the below but still I can see the default 15 rows per page.

Set to = 50
Home>Application Builder>Application 301>Page 51>Interactive Report Attributes>Search Bar>Rows Per Page Selector
Removed the check mark and still shows 15 rows per page.

Run your report. Set the Rows to 50. Press Go. Select 'Save Report' from the 'magic wheel' menu and next select 'Save as default report settings'.
It is a rather long way, but seems the only one...

Record results per Product, not per inspection characteristic

Dear,
Is is possible, in transaction QE51N to record results per product (or serial number) rather than per characteristic?
Today, I can only see a result recording per characteristic. For example: for inspection characteristic 1, I enter all the results for each product, then I go to inspection characteristic 2, etc. I would like to enter my results per products, i.e. for product 1: enter results for inspection characteristic 1, 2, ..., and then do the same for product 2, etc.
Is that possible?

That is what I do. I execute the transaction for one particular inspection lot. However, when I enter into the record results screen for this particular inspection lot, I first have to "enter" into one of the master inspection characteristic, and then start recording per product (or serial number). What I would like to have is to "enter" into one product (or serial number), and for this particular product, enter all the master inspection characteristics I have previously defined.
If you still don't see what I mean, can you give me your e-mail so that I can attach an image
Oh yes, and by the way, is it possible to execute the transaction qe51n based on the criteria "production order" instead of on the criteria "inspection lot" or "plant" or whatever. I know that you change it in the layout, but I really can't find the production order on the "hidden fields"

Have 5 devices, only one apple ID, iCloud should be 5 gb per device not per account.

Do I really have to create multible id's in order to be able to backup using iCloud. I have 2 iPad, 1 iPhone and 2 iPod and I still only get 5 gb of storage, but if I create a new account for each device I get 5 Gb each? Why?

It's 5 GB per account, regardless of how many devices are connected to that account. If you need more space, Apple provides the option to buy additional storage. If you want each of your devices to sync the same email, contacts, calendars, reminders, notes, etc. then use just one account, otherwise get a different account for each device.

When you are proofing a page, you must remember to check the page range button as it defaults to all after each page is printed. How do you change this default? We have printed many copies when we are thinking that only one page will go. We toggle between idd5 and pagemaker 7. When you print a page in pagemaker 7.0 it keeps printing that page until you select another option. We are reluctant to move up because of lack of compatability with our print devices and the ppd's. Perhaps some knows of a script that can do this. Have you tried asking on the InDesign scripting forum?
Have you considered exporting to PDF, extracting the single pages, printing them from Acrobat or Reader? With full Acrobat, you can create a document from all open PDF files, then you can print that collection of pages from Acrobat. Another approach would be to placed the saved single-page PDFs into a new InDesign file and printing that file.
Yes, it's extra steps to create one, but if you have many singles to print, collecting them in a file would let you print as many singles as are in your assembled document in one print command.

I want to receive a Multicast UDP message per interrupt, not per polling

I want to send more than 6 UDP Mulitcast messages( 1514 bytes per frame) directly after another.
After that, I want to receive all these messages. Because of the internal buffer length limit, I can only send a maximum of 6 messages. If sending more than 6 messages of that size, messages get lost. It is not possible for me to poll with the UDPRead.vi in parallel whether messages are already received, because it takes too much time.
Is there any possibility, to do receive UDP Multicast messages by interrupt, if the buffer (Windows) detects any incoming messages?
Is there any other possibility?
PS: It is not possible for me to switch to TCP/IP, because we will change later the target to an embedded system.

Please find the attached my ap details in "ap info.png",
To create the ssid(in open authentication mode ) using cli commands i had followed the below steps.

After that encryption setup followed the below commands

The expected is HM_CON_OPEN has to broadcast in air.
Observations:
In GUI i can see that radio is down in Radio0-802.11B, please find the attached "radio_down.png".
in event logs it is showing that "No SSID with VLAN configured. Dot11Radio0 not started." warning messgae(please find the attached event_log.png file). but i created the vlan 2 for my ssid.
After this i am unable to delete the ssids which i had created previous ones. in GUI, can i delete the ssid using cli commands?(pls mention the command)
I wanted to know the point where i did wrong ?
Any steps need to follow for cli configurations for creating the SSIDs?

How to set reimbursement Accomodation per day not per diem?

is it possible to set calculation of accommodation per diem by calendar day?
so not counting total night but counting total day?
As for meals, it is possible to choose for calculation - based on calendar day or 24 hour interval.

You are right in standard, its available for meals not accommodation. You can't define calendar day or hourly per diem for accommodations.

Pages not saving documents to iCloud drive

After the latest OS X update I was no longer able to save Pages documents to the iCloud Drive, which meant I could not access those documents on other Apple devices (iPad, iPhone), nor could I save documents created on an IOS device to the iCloud Drive. Contacted Apple tech support and the problem has been elevated to the iCloud engineers. Hope to have asolution in a few days (or sooner).

VikingOSX, many thanks. What you have outlined is good to know. Easier and faster than converting and saving an original.
Now, something further. If I transfer a .doc document this way to iCloud, does the .doc document get converted, automatically, to a .pages document? I ask, because my reading here and there suggests that .doc documents get converted to .pages when they are put on iCloud, although it may be possible to retrieve a document put on iCloud in its original Word format. The somewhat older .doc documents that I have kept, and put on this Mac, have tables and formatting that may be slightly disturbed if converted to .pages documents - which is why I've left them alone so far, and not put them on iCloud. And I can send them out as .doc originals.
But iCloud is a great system/concept, and I'd like to use it for these older items as well. Of course, these .doc documents can remain on my Air as such, and I do do regular backups.

Pages not saving document causes crash

Yesterday I made changes to a document using Pages. Today, the document with changes is shown in the thumbnail, when I try to open it Pages shuts down and brings me to the home screen. I was able to email a copy of the document to myself and it does not include the changes I made yesterday, even though I can see the changes on the thumbnail view. Also, the document shows it was last updated at 5;57 last night, which is when I stopped working. To further complicate things, if I search for the name of the document, there is no record. Any ideas what happened and how/if I can access the updated document. Yes, I have restarted the ipad and am running the most current of everything.

Pages not opening documents

I have a brand new iMac (one week old) that won't save or share current documents. I just created the doc, went to save, and the reply I got was "The file Untitled 2.pages couldn't be opened." What?! Then I tried to share the file and I got the same message. I am also unable to open any files previously created on my iPad.

HT1338 pages not opening documents

my pages application wont open any of my documents. I can choose to open a file with previesw and it will pull up, so that means the documents are there they just arent opening with pages

Let's try the pref.
Quit Pages. Go to your Finder "Go" menu hold the option key to choose "Library".
Then go to Preferences/com.apple.iWork.Pages.plist. Delete that file and relaunch a Pages doc and test.

Can I just setup my pages for just one page not the whole document?

I want to change my page to landscape but just one page not all document how can I do it.
